Seemyshell (00:00.945)
Welcome to the official Munzee Podcast.
Rob (00:03.658)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.
Seemyshell (00:07.607)
And I'm Craig, also known as Seemyshell. I'm an avid Munzee player and I'm here to explore the game further.
Rob (00:12.672)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.
Seemyshell (00:19.709)
So sit back, relax. Today's episode, we're talking about events, we're talking about lanterns, we're talking about Z-ops, we're talking about pumpkin prize machine? Rob? Pumpkin prize? That's got something to do with Halloween, obviously.
Rob (00:32.071)
Yeah, yeah, it does. It's not pumpkin spice. This is the season of pumpkin spice, you know, but it is pumpkin prize. So yeah, here it comes.
Seemyshell (00:35.674)
No.
Seemyshell (00:40.549)
Let me ask you, Rob, now that you're in the UK most of the time, the pumpkin spice, is that a thing in the UK? Because it's definitely not a thing in Australia. You don't even know, you?
Rob (00:49.006)
I look at my face. like, I don't know, because I don't go to Starbucks and I'm not a coffee drinker in general. in the in the US, they pumpkin spice everything they pumpkin spice, pop tarts and my little Debbie snacks. And, know, there's literally you could put aisles of pumpkin spice items together. I don't
Seemyshell (00:53.413)
No, no, no, no.
Seemyshell (01:03.867)
It's huge. Everything.
Seemyshell (01:14.993)
Yeah. No, no, no, not at all. And for those of you all around the rest of the world, except for the good old US of A got no idea what we're talking about. Pumpkin spice in Australia. You ready for this? Because I'm an Australian. So in Australia, Rob, we have it 24 seven and it's called a chai, C-H-A-I, chai. So when we asked for like a pumpkin spice latte, it's actually a chai latte.
Rob (01:15.702)
Actually, I don't remember seeing that much of that now that you mention it. Hmm, weird.
Seemyshell (01:40.787)
or what's known in Australia as a dirty chai. There you go, because it's got coffee in it as well as the chai. So an espresso, a dirty chai. There you go. You learn something new every day, mate. See, every day, something new every day. Mate, what else have been happening in your world? I see you in a closet at the moment.
Rob (01:41.112)
Yeah.
Rob (01:46.743)
Well.
Who knew? Everyday.
Rob (01:58.574)
I am I'm in an unusual recording booth for this podcast. I'm in Florida. I'm hanging out with my son for a little bit of time. And yeah, so a unique recording area. But I have. Well, let's just say I've been staying very, very busy. Last week, we went way over time by talking about new new player outreach.
Seemyshell (02:04.947)
you
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Seemyshell (02:20.306)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (02:24.765)
We did. Yeah. Yep.
Rob (02:28.088)
So I've been I've been experimenting with more things there. And then I'm also jumping all over the place with a bunch of other new fun stuff that is coming, taking care of all the things that we already have out there. And and then then there's the clan requirements because, know, it's already well, it's now beyond the middle of the month. And, know,
Seemyshell (02:32.711)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (02:44.526)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Seemyshell (02:50.899)
what? it's Yeah, yeah.
Rob (02:55.758)
Yeah. So I have to, I've learned and I'm trying to get better at starting to really get my mind into that mode a bit earlier so that I can, well, so that I can get creative. And from some of the feedback, some people like that. And some people are like, slow it down, man. Go back to doing them on the 26th and 27th. So much less chaotic then.
Seemyshell (03:02.461)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (03:06.077)
Yeah.
Seemyshell (03:11.741)
Yeah? Yeah? Yeah!
Seemyshell (03:17.733)
Yeah. Yeah. So it's, it's, was going to say, are you listening and watching on feedback itself from the clan wars stuff? Because I mean, let's be honest this month, this month in clan wars has been the most amount in terms of, in terms of variety that you've probably ever had in clan wars. And some people went, some people went like, yes. And other people went, no. So it's a, you know, it's like, you're damned if you do damned if you don't Rob.
Rob (03:46.13)
Indeed. And you know what? I've learned that over all the years and I get to listen through both ears at the this is great and the this is terrible and try and find that balance for November. So good luck to me and good luck to everyone out there. But I'm I'm I am listening and I can't hear it. How much will I apply?
Seemyshell (03:53.458)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (03:57.17)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (04:07.173)
Yeah. Very, very good. And that's, that's, and that's, that's listing in, in person. If you see Rob in person and event, that's he listens in person, but he also then watches intently. Even if he doesn't comment, he watches intently on places like the water cooler, for instance, as well. So, you know, if you've got an opinion of sorts, then yeah, absolutely place on the water cooler, but do it appropriately. So everyone knows that it's just an opinion and it's just a feedback thing. It's not a, it's not a complaint. It's not a whinge, but it's not a, it's not a
you know, brown nosing incident either. So you got to do both ways people, both ways. You got to do it nice and easy down the line to keep everyone happy.
Rob (04:42.958)
There was a lot of conversation at the end of last month as the requirements came out. So it would be interesting to fire some of those conversations up now that it's the middle of the month, sort of a, hey, how's your clan doing? Check-in type thing. You know, did you set a goal? Are you able to hit that goal? I'm moving my one man clan ahead and trying to see just what exactly I can do as well. So it's, yeah. Yeah.
Seemyshell (04:46.279)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (04:52.434)
Mm-hmm.
Yes, yes. Yeah.
Seemyshell (05:07.045)
As a, a, as a one man clan. Exactly. Because there are people out there like that too, Rob. Some people I know, for instance, for this month and you know, we're going straight into the show here by the sounds of it. I know some people this month itself got out of their clan last month because they felt like they couldn't accomplish what the clan was actually requiring or was asking to do. And they didn't want to people down. So they got out of their clan and did a clan of their own. Now to me personally, that's the best thing you can do. takes the pressure off the clan. Like in terms of pressure from you, the player.
Rob (05:16.301)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (05:36.967)
but at the same time, you're not leaving the game. You're still in the game. You still want to get those clan rewards because some of those rewards are quite good, Rob. So it still keeps you playing daily. And then, you know what? You may surprise yourself and go, geez, you know, I did quite well. Like I didn't realize that, hang on Munzee have these double points on these, these flat scatters, for instance, twice this month, you know, things like that. which I did appreciate too, Rob, that you mentioned that at the, in the blog post as well. And a lot of people said that some people said this month that, you know, all this
Rob (05:43.747)
Yeah.
Rob (05:57.56)
Yeah.
Seemyshell (06:06.033)
the scatter scatter from the flats. should be available, you know, every single day. But then other people came to the defense of Munzee and said, well, hang on this month, they did actually release the dates in the blog post saying there's going to be two events and these are the dates are going to be blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You didn't release what was going to scatter. You just released that these events were going to occur. so people planned appropriately because that's what people want. They want to plan these things sometimes. So there you go.
Rob (06:30.555)
understand those people but I do know that they're out there so it's certainly not how I fly
Seemyshell (06:33.955)
I know, yeah, that's cause you, you fly by the seat of your pants like literally, Rob, I've seen it in person.
Rob (06:41.998)
So often, so often. Speaking of flying, before we jump even further in, where are you? What's happening, man? What's going on in your world?
Seemyshell (06:45.815)
there we go!
Seemyshell (06:51.207)
So, so in, in, in real terms, that's called a segue what Rob just did, but in Australian terms, we, some, some Australians call it a C U S E G U E C U. anyway, yes, speaking of flying, I am going to be on my way all the way over to the UK, Rob. So I'm hoping that you're going to fly back too. Cause I can see you and I can see Lou as I do my trip across the U S a U S the UK and speak when I say UK, I do actually mean UK. I'm doing England. doing Wales. I'm doing.
Rob (06:59.156)
Hm.
Seemyshell (07:20.301)
Ireland, I'm doing Scotland. I'm doing Northern Ireland. So five, five countries. That's the, that's the entire UK. I'm doing five. Well, and an extra as well, isn't it? So if I, if I remember correctly, my British history. they, look, I'm wow. Wow. Island separate. Yeah, exactly. Jeez. I am so smart. can't believe myself. Anyway, that's, that's, that's me. That's what I'm getting planned to do. So I hope to meet up with you and Lou over there as well.
Rob (07:23.544)
Wow, that's the entire thing.
Rob (07:32.896)
yeah, yeah, yes, you are correct. Ireland as well. are correct. Yes, I, yep, the Republic.
Rob (07:43.896)
Well done.
Seemyshell (07:49.639)
in your beautiful hometown of Marlowe. Yes, you will. And meanwhile, I also had a great event last weekend here in New Jersey, a Munzee event, which was a co-exist event as well. And I'll have a question for the listeners at the end of the show, Rob. I'm asking listeners their opinions on something because I got a good idea while doing this particular event. there you go. All right, Rob, the events that were from last weekend, USA, we had two in Minnesota, one in Ohio and one in New Jersey. And by the way, before we move on,
Rob (07:52.216)
See you there.
Seemyshell (08:19.615)
w Helen events, event Muncie events on YouTube has got a video out in regards to the Minnesota events as well. Great video. He's coming up. Rob. He's doing CGI stuff now. Did you watch it? Did you watch it?
Rob (08:31.95)
I I've seen, yeah, and it's pretty impressive of what's going on out there.
Seemyshell (08:38.995)
Yes, that's I mean, I mean, Bob, Bob, well done, brother. Well done, mate. He's doing some good work with that. And you know what? He's enjoying himself as well. So that's the most important thing. And don't forget while you're there as well, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy. He's putting out weekly weekly videos as well. But he's sort of crossed between Munzee and Geocaching too. So he does the two of them. So there you go. They both get a shout out this month. this week.
We also had one in Ohio and of course mine in New Jersey now around the world Rob we had.
Rob (09:10.008)
Osaka, Japan and we had one in Ontario, Canada then the big event in Netherlands and two in Denmark
Seemyshell (09:20.275)
Very good, very good. And don't forget as well, the one in Osaka, Japan, who was there? three quarters, no, two thirds, two thirds of the Munzee Maniacs podcast were there too. So Sarah and PJ were capping together. There's always a fierce rivalry between, or friendly rivalry I should say, between those two. So I wonder who capped most on that day. anyway, leaderboards over the weekend on Friday, we had El Rosso on 293,000 points, Dragons West, not East.
Rob (09:27.448)
Two thirds.
Rob (09:32.45)
You
Seemyshell (09:48.819)
on 260,000 points and HBRB. Everyone likes me saying that, H. HBRB on 255,000 points on Saturday Rob.
Rob (09:58.976)
On Saturday, we had bullseye shooter at 401,000 cap Jack's crew at 363,000 and Batman 787 361,000. But wait, I've got an honorable mention that I want to put out there because this was made a really big deal on discord. And probably because this player is the friendliest of all if there were an award for it, which who knows maybe there will be in the future. So he came in 68th place.
Seemyshell (10:10.471)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (10:16.327)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (10:23.555)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (10:28.686)
on Saturday with 100,334 points. OK. And probably burned a hole in his phone because so much of it was hand capping, went to an event. So he earned for the very first time the 10000 badge. And that was in West Virginia. And that area is really growing. But he's someone that you and I will get to meet at Geo Woodstock at Munstock events in May.
Seemyshell (10:28.851)
Okay, 68, yeah.
Seemyshell (10:35.581)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (10:40.465)
Wow.
Seemyshell (10:45.457)
Seemyshell (10:53.362)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Rob (10:57.09)
really looking forward to it. That's Father of Grace 2013. Congrats, well done, that's your honorable mention of the day.
Seemyshell (11:01.843)
Well done. Well done. And people don't forget as well, as Rob just said, we're talking badges here for different amounts per day. So you got a hundred thousand badge. Next one is 250,000 one. And then the next one is the one million, one million dollar. So that's what you do. Meanwhile, Sunday we had Vony with 558,000 points, F R L K, 455,000 and Regal at 431,000 points as well.
Rob (11:16.312)
Yeah.
Seemyshell (11:30.567)
What was that? The Netherlands event went mega?
Rob (11:31.906)
Yeah, that's a top three from the Netherlands event. went mega. had 60 people or something. So yeah, really, really excited to see that happen after we'd talked about it. I'd been to that location. It was super cool. So well done to them.
Seemyshell (11:35.656)
Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
Seemyshell (11:48.667)
That's really cool. Really well done to them as well. So there you go. This weekend coming up USA, we've got two in Arizona, one in Maryland, Minnesota, two in Missouri, one in Nebraska, Nebraska. Yeah, Nebraska. And one in New Jersey, New Jersey. Again, I didn't know that one. I'll have to look.
Rob (12:01.854)
Mm-hmm. Nailed it. Yeah. Maybe I wrote the notes wrong. I don't know.
Seemyshell (12:10.513)
I'll have to look. I can't make it anyway, because I'll be on the flight on Saturday. So I can't make the New Jersey one either way. Around the world, Rob, we have.
Rob (12:14.157)
That's true.
Rob (12:17.83)
Well, we've got one in British Columbia, Canada, we have one in ACT Australia and also in Victoria, Australia, Norway, we have two in Germany, one in Netherlands, one in England and one in Denmark.
Seemyshell (12:32.813)
and the large events coming up beyond this weekend, apart from all the others that we already talked about, I've put another one in there before that Rob. December 8th, this is going to be a very unique event this one and the CEO of this event I spoke to recently in Rome, Georgia and it's called Deck the Firehalls in Tennessee. It's a coexist event as well so you can get that good elaborate coexist badge. They celebrate Christmas in a fire station. It is fancy dressed, they've got cookie swaps there, Santa Claus comes.
and the actual CEO itself. He's a fireman too. So yeah, he'll have all his fire gear up there and the fire truck there too. So Nathan, a big shout out to you, mate. Well done. And it was great to see you buddy in Rome, Georgia. Meanwhile, quickly running through January 16th and 19th, Florida. We've got January 25th to 26th in Sydney, Australia. March 8th and 9th in California.
Rob (13:09.57)
Nice.
Seemyshell (13:28.177)
Don't forget the Munzee in Uranus on May 3rd and then May 24th, Munstock and then June 7th and 8th in Ohio hosting the SOS events. Don't forget if you're a host of a wannabe big event coming up, then reach out to me and let me know and we can chat from there. So let's get into the show Rob, 30 minutes in. Wow, already. Developments this week. What's happening? Firstly, a question for you Rob, because these came out last week. You touched on these last week in the podcast, but because we went so long, I couldn't actually grill you. Now's the time to do that.
these new lantern things with the lantern flies and the, I'll be honest, Rob, they're a little confusing to like long-term players. What's been happening with them? What are they used for? Et cetera, et cetera.
Rob (14:08.855)
Yeah.
Rob (14:12.758)
Yeah, so the magical lantern, which, like you said, we mentioned quickly last week, then they launched after the podcast. Otherwise, we would have had a lot more to say. The the launch, I would say, wasn't the smoothest thing that we've done in all the last year. The the number of lightning bugs that were landing wasn't quite what we should have had. So we've made some adaptations already to those people who like you.
Seemyshell (14:17.671)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (14:21.629)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (14:42.942)
love to be first. And you sprung on that magical lantern and you got it on the map and you were so excited and then you were like, whomp, whomp, whomp. Sorry, sorry, sorry about that. We have been making quite a few changes. And as of today, we are still making changes so that those start to work exactly like we want them to. That's becoming part of the new tutorial for brand new players.
Seemyshell (14:50.109)
Yeah.
Rob (15:11.862)
And so part of this was getting all of the bugs worked out on the live app and getting them bouncing properly and making sure that it was exactly how we wanted it before we started to get the new players fully involved.
Seemyshell (15:20.6)
that
Seemyshell (15:25.235)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (15:31.773)
So Rob, this makes sense now because what I found is that if you place your lantern out there, firstly, number one, this lantern can be kept by anyone, people. This lantern can be seen by anyone and everyone. You won't see this lantern on your map. You won't actually physically see it. It won't be sitting there, possibly should have been sitting there in the darkness, so to speak, so you know it's actually there. So you only see it when an actual lightning bug lands on it. When does that happen?
Rob (15:39.405)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (15:53.666)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (15:58.451)
Who knows? So what it's basically doing is allowing you to, or making you open the app more often when, you put one at your home address, for instance, you're making it open the app when you're at home more often to see if there's a lightning bug there. And if there is, then you cap it from there. If you cap it on, say, for instance, the Monday, you wake up on the Tuesday, it's not there. No, it's not going to be there at all until another lightning bug lands on it. You see you, and also you can't put deploy virtuals.
like deploy all virtuals to see it there because it doesn't pass as a virtual. You have to do deploy all mode on the filters to see it where it is. So these are predominantly by the sounds that Rob, you're using these more so as a tool for new players. Is that what you're sort of saying? So that's a, hmm.
Rob (16:41.346)
Yeah. A training, a training ground, if you will, for watching for bouncers that may, you know, land and be there. I don't know. Maybe this is a combination of listening to what people said about the wishing well, where we don't want to see that on the map all the time. And, and, and the difference between something like the, any of the teapot pubs, stuff like that, where those are available once a day.
Seemyshell (16:59.153)
yeah.
Seemyshell (17:05.938)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (17:08.774)
The magical lantern is not available once a day. It is something that you deploy It should be magnetized at the beginning and then it goes away Until a lightning bug comes and lights up the magical lantern and then you're able to cap it again Whoever is first to get there that is is able to cap it again. Yeah, so that's
Seemyshell (17:16.157)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (17:21.541)
Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. So as you count with the light imbog, escapes basically and then goes back into darkness and or invisibility. So.
Rob (17:31.81)
Yeah, so not not broken, but not fully looking exactly like, like, like we had it working in our testing environment and how we want it to look fully because, yeah, it is mostly for new players, it will be worked out and, and everyone will see and it's going to
Seemyshell (17:50.727)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob (17:55.382)
it's gonna well, it's gonna be a good thing. And apologies to everyone out there for you know, some of those early issues. It's it's being worked out as usual.
Seemyshell (17:58.684)
Yeah.
Seemyshell (18:03.481)
Mm hmm. Yep. Yep. No, that's fine. That's fine. It makes sense. Makes sense. So people think there's anything to learn by don't be like me. And that is don't be rushing to things trying to be, want to, want to see what it does straight away, place it out and then break it. And then it's not actually working properly. And then, yeah, you don't like it from there. And yeah, so maybe hold back a little bit and just see how things pan out. So
Rob (18:25.464)
some people are like that and and and honestly we yeah obviously we didn't do this on purpose so yeah
Seemyshell (18:32.131)
No, no, you don't do anything like that on purpose. That's, that's, that's understandable. All right, Rob, moving on now. We've got the new, this came out this week as well. The brand new secret Z Ops. you know me, Rob. I love my secret Z Ops. This one, this one, it's been 24 hours, Rob, and I'm still on the first level. I haven't even leveled up. I know, I know it's, it's, it's it's a, I've got mixed feelings. I've got mixed feelings, Rob. In one hand, one hand here, I am thinking, you know, this is more of a task. This is more.
Rob (18:50.22)
You're welcome. Yeah.
Seemyshell (19:01.703)
You know, it's more, on the other hand, I'm like, I just want to get the special bouncer, the mech at the end. So someone has, Rob, I woke up this morning and someone actually has got the special mech. They got number one and that's all done. So there's no rush for me anymore in regards to it, tell us, Rob, what is this secret zeops and how can we get.
Rob (19:19.352)
So it's called spellbound and down and it is available in the secret the ops section. It's 1500 zeds that's in the app, the little button that is over on the bottom right side of the screen. When you complete this just in case you do. And it can take you a year if you want it can take as long as possible. You receive the new void guardian mech.
Seemyshell (19:42.156)
Mmm. Yeah.
Rob (19:46.894)
And that is a blueprint that you'll get and be able to rebuild. And then there's other prizes along the way. so yeah, this one may take a little bit more time. Yeah, just like you said, more tasks.
Seemyshell (19:51.176)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (19:57.241)
Mm-hmm. But you know what? So it's, it's, it's, it's worth it. It, I'll be honest with you. It is actually worth it too. And it's worth the 1500 zeds. I know people, Rob have already got two or three still backlogged from before. I say to them, my advice to them is, is get this one as well. Have this one because it doesn't hurt to have it in.
Once you have it in your inventory and it's there, can slowly, your Munzee will work on it for you in the background. Like you don't have to check it every single day. If you don't wish to, you can check it once a week, for instance, go, my goodness, a company, if I completed that component, I can click next now and end and go to the next one, next one, next one. I'm not sure about you Rob, but I'm one of those people whereby in level one, I've got to open everything on level one. I don't just do literally one task at a time in order. I know some people do that's not me, but that's okay. This is where play it your way comes in.
Rob (20:43.073)
Even if even if they even if they don't click them open, they're still being completed in the background. It is all that all the tasks, all the tasks for level one are being worked on, even if you don't know what they are. And then once you move on to level two, nothing starts until you open one of those tasks. So if you if you go on and you leave all of them blind, you're just sitting there doing nothing. So, yeah. Yeah.
Seemyshell (20:48.175)
Mm-hmm. I didn't know that.
Seemyshell (20:57.011)
okay.
Seemyshell (21:03.339)
One. One of the times.
Seemyshell (21:07.538)
Mm-hmm.
workin' for nothing sort of thing. yeah, make sure you open at least one, or you be like me and open all of them at the same time just to see what you're getting yourself into. So there you go, fantastic. Yeah, New Secret Zeops, get it now in the secret zeops store we call it. So there you go. As you said Rob, that little red target button down the right hand corner, click that and then you've got your daily zeops, but if you click next to it, it's called secret. So you click the secret and it comes up in that section there. So.
Rob (21:12.576)
Open them up, everyone. Yeah.
Seemyshell (21:37.809)
Meanwhile, Rob, this came out yesterday. The pumpkin prize machine we spoke about earlier in the pumpkin prize machine. Is this like a mailbox?
Rob (21:45.475)
Yeah.
Yeah, so not the mailbox we, you know, spun spun off Dice Tower last year birthday month, if I remember correctly. And so sort of a shorter term thing that's similar to a mailbox in that you can cap it every day, you can move the location of this thing. wherever you may be, you know, and if you're traveling, let's say from
Seemyshell (21:51.579)
No?
Seemyshell (21:55.757)
that's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Seemyshell (22:05.427)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Rob (22:15.596)
from home to the UK and bouncing across the UK, then you can still update it. Just don't forget, like you do not use the undeploy button. Instead, you go into the details and you edit location and you push that little trigger button and it pops to right where you are. This is only available to the owner. So it only shows up for you again, cap it every day, because if you don't, you miss out on the prizes.
Seemyshell (22:26.011)
No.
Seemyshell (22:31.672)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob (22:41.72)
There are 13 days, 13 prizes, and conveniently based on the fact that it started on Thursday, guess what day it ends? That's correct, Halloween. So this is the pumpkin prize machine, yes. There you go.
Seemyshell (22:52.455)
so perfect ending. Very, very good. So get your get yours now if you haven't already, because you're missing out on prizes. And don't be like Rob. And when I said don't be like Robin, that is cap it every single day. Rob, you there was the the dice tower you missed one day. And not even this is right. Listen, listen closely people not even the president of Munzee himself can re re what do call it retro activate retro activate the prize for the day before because he forgot to cap it. Wow.
Rob (23:04.749)
Yeah.
I did.
Rob (23:16.28)
Yeah, yeah.
Nope. I tried and I couldn't do it. So yeah.
Seemyshell (23:21.843)
So it makes sure, so make sure, make sure you cap it every single day because you cannot get that prize back. And even with a support ticket, it won't help. there you go. prizes go for 13 days of every day for 13 days straight. it's again, well worth the, the pumpkin prize machine, just the fact that you can move it, Rob itself to me personally, especially at me at the moment, you know, traveling the UK, it's going to help. So there you go. and I have a video and the link will be in the description of this as well of how to move these things people.
I'll show you the easiest way and simplest way to move these things using what? What? Cuppa Zee. That's right. Cuppa Zee. You go to the homepage, you click on, you've got your pumpkin prize machine will be on your homepage. You click on that. You go to the location of that. You click on edit location. You then click on a little target button of where you are. And surprise, surprise, it'll go, put the link and move it exactly to your exact location. People I've got a video out there showing you if you can't understand.
the words that come out of my mouth sometimes. anyway, all right, Rob, what's coming up now with the double points weekend? Is it a weekend or what is it this time? can't recall.
Rob (24:26.722)
Yeah, Rums, Gaming, and Jewels. It's going on now as people are listening, so don't forget, Double Points happening now, and this will help you with those clan requirements if you're still working on them.
Seemyshell (24:33.093)
Mm-hmm. Yep. Mm-hmm.
Yes. It will also help you if you've got the new secret zeops just saying, especially with the gaming stuff too, because they're all the, I'm giving something away. There's yes, there is why there is gaming involved in regards to the secret zeops too. So there you go. I know she's it's like, it's like Munzee reads everyone's mind, anyway, all right, people now I've got a question for the people, Rob. I have a question, not for you.
Rob (24:46.819)
Hey.
Rob (24:53.804)
What odd timing for that double points. So weird.
Rob (25:01.25)
Ha ha ha.
Seemyshell (25:07.603)
But for the people now after I attended this weekend in New Jersey, their event, was a deer cashing event and a Munzee event, but predominantly it was a scavenger hunt event after those two events occurred. And, you know, it was old school scavenger hunt. told you about it last week, whereby, you know, you get a list of things you have to do. One of the things Rob is that you have to have, cause he hands out plastic bags and stuff as well. One of the things where we had to have some horse manure.
in a plastic bag and you've got points for horse manure. That's what I mean. So it's like a real, a real life scavenger hunt. I asked him, said, Eric, said, mate, how do know the difference between the horse manure and other types of manure? He goes, I don't. goes, just, you get points if you get manure in there of any sort. there you go. Anyway, so that, gave me an idea, Rob, because I went around to do these pins. Now these pins, they weren't knee height right next to the walking trail. And you walked and captain walked and captains.
Rob (25:36.686)
That's terrible.
Rob (25:49.518)
That's the end.
Seemyshell (26:02.173)
talked with your friends, no they weren't like that. This was a scavenger hunt problem. So you had to look for these pins. These pins were off the beaten track, off the beaten trail. So my question now comes out to the people out there. What do you think of an event that is advertised, advertised as not a normal Munzee event whereby this is an advertised Munzee scavenger hunt event?
Rob (26:07.182)
Okay.
Seemyshell (26:30.001)
There was like 50 pins as always, but those pins and their pins show up on the map as well, like normal, but those pins are not visible just as you walk along the track. So you literally have to look for them. They could be high, they can be low, they can be, you know, but behind a tree, they can be under a rock for instance, as well. Yes, under rocks as well. So that sort of thing, like very interesting. And that would allow them, because there's always leaderboards too. People didn't know there's leaderboards on every Munzee event.
that will allow the actual, the host themselves to see who got first, second and third, for instance, as an example of who capped all 50 pins and first, second, third place. And then the prizes go out to first, second and third. Rob, so this is not all about the cake now. It's more about the prizes and the thrill of the hunt and the win. So.
Yeah, I'll put it out there to the people. Let me know. Send me an email, send me a private message on any social medias or even through the Munzee app directly itself. So, and let me know your thoughts on a scavenger hunt style. But, but I will say Rob, you have to advertise it as a scavenger hunt Munzee event because I'll tell you why. Yes, it is frustrating a little bit. If you don't realize what you're actually doing and you don't have the time to do it all.
Rob (27:32.62)
Interesting.
Seemyshell (27:51.827)
I'll be honest, Rob, think I maybe got 20 out of the 50 pins that were at the event on the weekend. Yeah. Because they were, they were well hidden. It was a big walk. It was a long walk around as well. So, and, yeah. And it was foresty too. So we will have to wear long pants, check the ticks and all that sort of thing too. So, but yeah, I mean, they were all still on flags. Don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't put them all on flags either. I'd literally, I'd put one under a rock. I'd put one up top of a lamppost. So you didn't have to look up to see it and not look down, you know, so.
Rob (27:57.102)
Wow.
Rob (28:09.689)
Yeah.
Rob (28:20.232)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that'd be cool
Seemyshell (28:21.815)
Yeah. Yeah. So there you go, people. What, what do you think about that? Let me know. Let me know. All right, Rob, we can moving on now to the question of the week. This one comes from Headstack on the Munzee app. See, I get him on the Munzee app too. He says, I have several badges from the daily overall leaderboard, but I want to collect them all. Please. Can you let us know which leaderboard numbers are awarded badges? Rob.
Rob (28:46.958)
Well, I don't have that list memorized. So I went to the number one badge winner in the world, Eagle Dad Nixenia. I didn't talk to him directly. I just pulled up his account. So if you're ever curious about, you know, what badges are available, just check his account. That's my advice to you. So what I have found is that there's here are the numbers for the daily overall leaderboard. First, second, seventh, eighth,
Seemyshell (28:50.611)
you
Ha ha!
Seemyshell (28:58.483)
You
Seemyshell (29:04.507)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob (29:16.366)
13, 21, 42, 50, and 100. All right, so you can look for those. I'm gonna let everyone do their own little bit of research because there's more leaderboard badges than ever involved with just the physical, just the virtual, with just the cap on section. So yeah, check it out. But that is the answer specifically to your question.
Seemyshell (29:21.075)
Seemyshell (29:31.345)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (29:38.737)
And if you want to literally, yeah, as you said, dive deeper into that Eagle dad and Xenia, he has the most badges in the entire world. That's right. More than W. Helen. So it calls him. won't say what he calls himself, but he doesn't call himself a badge hound, but kind of something similar to that. all right, Rob, we're moving on now to the Munzee request of the week slash question of the week as well. and this one was from Tats. His name is in Australia.
Rob (29:48.76)
Yeah. Yep.
Rob (29:57.39)
True. Yep.
Seemyshell (30:08.177)
And he said, when capping a person's, when capping itself and you're using a booster and you use like a double points booster for instance as well. And so you're capping other people's Munsies and you're getting double points for using that booster. Does or can the owner of the Munsy get the use of the same booster by getting double cap on points as well?
Rob (30:29.601)
Nope.
Rob (30:33.218)
That's the answer. If that's a request, then that's an interesting request. And thanks for that thought. If that's a question, the answer is, does it work that way currently? No, it does not, because that's not how life goes. you know, I, the capper, am interested in my points. I, the capper, not really interested in your points, but I get the idea behind it and as a request and as a
Seemyshell (30:36.819)
You
Seemyshell (30:41.095)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (30:48.785)
Not currently. Not currently.
Seemyshell (30:57.351)
Mm-hmm.
Seemyshell (31:00.915)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (31:02.658)
future thought. Interesting. Makes sense. Yeah.
Seemyshell (31:05.51)
Yeah, yeah. There was a request a couple of episodes ago now, Rob, as well about the, a cap on booster. Remember that one? Remember that one, a cap on booster whereby if you've got like, if you've got like, you know, 10, 15, a hundred cards at an event, you can use a cap on booster for how many hours or a day to actually get the cap on boost from that. So there you go.
Rob (31:12.36)
Mmm. Yeah, sounds familiar.
Seemyshell (31:26.993)
People, the tip of the week this week, one tip that is get that new pumpkin, I almost call it pumpkin spice, Rob. Get the new pumpkin prize machine. Get a new pumpkin prize machine. Do not undeploy it. You can move it by using the edit location button only and go from there. Meanwhile, Rob, that ends another official Munzee podcast.
