Seemyshell (00:01.184)
Welcome to the official Munzee Podcast.

Rob (00:03.773)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.

Seemyshell (00:07.374)
and I'm Craig also known as Seemyshell, I'm an avid Munzee player and I'm here to explore the game further.

Rob (00:12.627)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.

Seemyshell (00:19.256)
So sit back, relax. Today's episode, we're going to chat, Rob, Rob, Rob. We're to chat all this. This episode is all about the resellers, the decisions that Munzee made in regards to retire them, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Rob, you got black eyes around. Have you had any sleep at all, mate? Like you're looking stressed, mate. You're looking stressed.

Rob (00:39.249)
No. Can we just talk about rum instead? Just rum instead of resellers? No, man, it's all good. You know, we adopted that term reseller unique Munzee rum, and I've enjoyed that for all of these years. No, no, honestly, haven't had a whole lot of sleep, at least not as much as I'd like to.

Seemyshell (00:42.794)
I'm being honest.

Seemyshell (00:52.942)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (00:56.759)
Yes.

Seemyshell (01:00.728)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Rob (01:03.601)
I'm back in Florida right now. You can see my surroundings back in the closet at my son's apartment. Yeah, but your surroundings, man, your background has changed. You're not sitting at my kitchen table like last week. What's going on with you?

Seemyshell (01:05.664)
Mm-hmm. Yeah. Back in the back in your son's closet.

Mm-hmm. Yes.

No, no, no. I'm going to, I'm going to say before I go, what's wrong with me. And that is there may be Rob, there may be a few new listeners to this episode specifically because of what's happening. say, so if you're listening for this episode for the very first time, then welcome, welcome. And you know what? Make sure you hit the little subscribe button. Cause we do this every single week, Rob, every single week. This podcast comes out. You can listen to it on any of your podcasting apps or on buzzsprout itself or on YouTube.

Rob (01:29.279)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (01:46.222)
Or Rob, if you don't want to listen to podcasts because you can't stand them. And I understand that's to some people. There's a full transcript available on the Buzzsprout site too. So you can read all the way through instead. So there you go. Welcome to the new listeners out there. I'm thinking there may be a couple, just saying. Anyway, Rob, me gets some, gets some really good news out of the road for us. Yes. I was at your place in Marlowe last week. I, I went across to Wales and got myself a.

Rob (02:02.543)
Yeah, there will be.

Seemyshell (02:13.39)
placed a physical Munzee in Wales as well to make sure that I've, you you've got to place the physicals in every single country because Hey, cuppa Z says you have to, you see, so that's what I did. grab the cash as well, but I'm a little bit, I'll be honest, Rob and Munzee is the same. I think you followed geocaching a little bit in regards to the souvenirs. There's no souvenir for Wales. There's no, there's no geocaching souvenir for Wales. It's all UK. It is all UK. None for Scotland either.

Rob (02:15.509)
Ooh.

Rob (02:31.721)
Yeah.

Rob (02:35.762)
Seemyshell (02:42.602)
None for Scotland. I know right. And that's what I did too. I went through Wales out of Liverpool. I went and did obviously the ferry across ferry across the Mersey. Now I'm starting to sound like Josh. We did that. We flew across then to Dublin in Ireland and then all the way up the coast to what's it called? The last one I was just at Belfast Belfast and then ready for this role. Only a Munsey player slash geocacher would know this and that is

Rob (02:43.069)
Right.

Seemyshell (03:12.236)
We jumped on the two hour ferry to go across to Scotland to spend three hours in Scotland and then get the two hour ferry back. So in a little town, a little town in Scotland, again, placing physical Munsies in there as well in that little town and did walking around and did some physicals around there too. Back to Belfast. And now I'm proudly up in Bushmills in Northern Ireland. People go, I've heard of Bushmills. Why is that? Well, the world, Rob, the world's oldest.

Rob (03:19.541)
Hahaha

Seemyshell (03:41.262)
Distillery licensed distillery is right here in Bushmills and I'll be partaking later this evening just saying so there you go Yes, yes. Yes. So that's where I am currently now in Bushmills in Northern Ireland. So perfect. Exactly, right exactly right. We're perfect. We're perfect. All right, Rob Let's get into it for those as I said before brand new listeners what we basically do from now is we talk about the events and also the leaderboard so

Rob (03:54.185)
Nice, so I talk rum, you talk whiskey, we're good.

Seemyshell (04:06.808)
The events from last weekend, we had three in South Carolina, one in Minnesota, California and Indiana and around the world, Rob, had.

Rob (04:13.791)
Finland and one in Victoria, Australia.

Seemyshell (04:17.134)
And then the leaderboards over the weekend Friday we had Eagle Dad and Xenia on 377,000 points followed by HBRB 232,000 points and Yanker Bucks on 230,000 points on Saturday.

Rob (04:31.029)
Saturday Cole Cracker 7, 555,000 Munzee Prof, 519,000 He does love coming in second place and W Helen who is actually whaling our number one player in the world. Don't forget 510,000.

Seemyshell (04:37.134)
He does.

Seemyshell (04:47.052)
Well, on Sunday, Whelan, our number one player in the world, took out Sunday with 257,000 points, followed by Tofu Girl on 230,000 points. Now, I don't know how she got in front of the other guy that she munzies with, but anyway. And then Tikki Seba on 218,000 points in third place. The event's coming up this weekend. We don't have any at all in the USA because of course we're in between the clan wars dates, so people don't...

Don't put events on that's fine, but around the world we have one in UK and one in ACT. Now, Rob, we normally talk about the big events. We don't have time for that this episode. So we're going to move straight on. Are you ready? I'm getting to ready for this. I'll put a sound effect in. I'll the rip the rip the rip the band aid off Rob. That's what I'm going to do. So let's get into this mate. So as everyone should know by now, and that is the resellers themselves have been retired. The reseller production, cetera, has been retired from Munzee.

Rob (05:29.589)
Let's do it.

Seemyshell (05:42.218)
And that includes people like Space Coast Geostore, and Neggs as well over in the UK. It includes the golden coins and also, whoa, I can't forget this, Geologger's, that's right in Australia as well. So those four stores are now not available to purchase Munzees, et cetera. From Rob, because of this news, we've had literally.

Rob (05:52.191)
GeoLockers.

Seemyshell (06:04.878)
I'm gonna say tens, not hundreds, but tens of questions because they're all similar, you see. So I've managed to get quite a few of the questions in here. Some people personally messaged me as well, which is nice. Others I just got from the Facebook itself. But before we start, Rob, give us a background. Give us a background firstly of the resellers, the program itself and how it was like five years ago compared to how it is now and the decision you made and decision that actually not just you, sorry, I say.

Rob (06:08.851)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (06:30.968)
but the entire Munzee slash freeze tag team made. Cause it's not a new mate, it's not a new, it's the whole team made. No, I'm being honest, letting people know, you know, it's not, it's not you, wasn't your decision to make. It was a collective decision amongst the team, apparently. So that's what I got told. So anyway, the floor is yours, mate. Tell us about the resellers first and then tell us the reasons.

Rob (06:35.573)
I know. Yeah.

Rob (06:48.287)
Yeah, yeah.

Rob (06:53.257)
All right, thanks very much. Yeah, so we definitely are a team as far as decisions being made, you know, across the board, and everything that we do. So thanks for that. reseller program man kicked off 10 years ago. So this has been going on for a long time. Actually started with Elliot, who is golden coins. I went out to to California and was hanging out with the

group of players there. Very first person that made 100,000 points in a day. I mean, way back when, when that sort of thing didn't happen. So I'm it with them, met up at Elliot shop, which is a gold and coin shop, golden coins, and sell stamps and coins and all kinds of cool stuff. Anyway, kicked around, he kind of presented the idea of if if you were interested in having other people, you know,

sell your stickers, then I'd be happy to do it. know, whatever you come up with, I'll, I'll take, I can't remember if he said at the beginning, I'll take 10 or I'll take a hundred. But he said, you come up with it. I'll buy it. No problem. And let's figure it out and let's make this happen. So we did that. Brought on a guy in Canada who I met when I went to an event up there as well. Geo hobbies. And, you know, we, over the years we, we gained quite a few more space coast came on.

Met them at events in Texas. They've been with me for nine years And you know worked really closely with them Including you know like doing the shipping they've been doing the shipping You know which has come out of Florida. So that was a clue to everyone What what's been happening any physical orders through the freeze tag store? anyway, the the initial idea of the

reseller program was here. Here are some stickers that are specific to you reseller unique ones these rums. And you know, you you promote these you go to events you you sell these products here you go. And then they also had the opportunity to get some of our other stickers like the micros is pretty much the only one that people ordered.

Rob (09:17.745)
from us was we gave had those so that they could be shipped quicker to people in different locations, which is where Australia came on board. The only reseller that I've never met that worked with us is Matt from Geologgers. So he is the only one down in Australia. We had a previous one, Geo Stuff down there. I met them. They turned their business over to another couple who you know.

Seemyshell (09:33.518)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (09:39.938)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (09:43.968)
Yeah. Yeah.

Rob (09:44.929)
And so then we stopped their portion of the reselling at that time. Anyway, the program's gone through lots of changes over time. what we've done is we've transitioned into here's new virtual stuff. So those virtual products are the things that have sold best. I know how many orders go out. I know.

Seemyshell (10:01.229)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (10:10.7)
Yeah.

Rob (10:11.923)
Who orders the things? Because I'm the one who has handled the reseller program from the beginning. I send the invoices to the resellers every month. So I am also the one who fills the orders if resellers are ordering more micro stickers because they're selling a bunch and they're, you know, moving on, they're ready. The physical sales haven't been there for quite a while. Five years ago, we...

Seemyshell (10:16.75)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (10:31.553)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (10:39.426)
Yeah.

Rob (10:39.679)
you know, kind of lived in a whole different world. Everyone did. And there've just been lots of changes, changes to the game and changes to the world in general and physical sales were lower. So what it's turned into, let's just talk about the last two years, let's putting together new virtual items.

Seemyshell (10:43.566)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (11:05.817)
like the pirate max, for example, or with the garden gnomes to garden hedges and the glass guardians, a specific version of each of those per reseller. So while we while we look at the entire program, we were putting a lot of effort in to create additional virtual products for the resellers.

Seemyshell (11:14.894)
Hmm.

Seemyshell (11:32.749)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (11:36.021)
And that is kind of way different than how this program started. And when it comes to virtual products, you actually don't need people in four places or 20 places around the world to deliver those. So the majority of sales also were happening only in months where

Seemyshell (11:43.501)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (11:53.442)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Rob (12:06.385)
I set clan requirements up that pushed people to do activity with rums reseller cards, you know, that kind of thing. So I don't think everyone would understand or believe possibly how difficult a decision it's been to make to to do this to end this program. But it really has been

Seemyshell (12:09.219)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (12:24.824)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (12:35.197)
And it's just unfortunately been something where we have made it to a crossroads of either we the team are gonna have to put a lot more work in to streamline things like items coming online in the store quickly, items being delivered quickly.

Seemyshell (12:47.842)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (12:58.648)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (12:59.751)
when they're ordered because obviously we have a direct connection to the servers so that you order from the freeze tag store boom it's delivered within minutes and that just hasn't always been the case and when you're only talking about virtual items or the majority of sales being virtual or credit items you want those quickly we understand that so yeah that's a lot of talking and now i need a drink

Seemyshell (13:08.385)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (13:16.482)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (13:24.174)
No, that's all right, mate. That's right. I will say, I will say and let everyone else out there know as well. And that is, Rob, I've spoken to you at length, in the last week, in regards to all this sort of stuff too. And, and I hadn't, I hadn't said a word about this. You told me about it in person when I was there last week with you. you discussed things with me as well. And I'm going to say this to everyone listening out there and everyone who is even reading the podcast, whatever you do. And that is Rob has had a bit, a lot of stress over this. I've never seen you like you are.

Rob at the moment. And to the point is what, you know, it's it's it is affecting you emotionally and even physically. And I will say that people out there don't add any more stress to that. Okay, that's all I'm going to say. And and and the reason why I say that is because people you're not being affected by this and and the people that are being affected and that is the actual resellers themselves. They're they're the ones that have had the discussions with Rob and the team and you know, the Craig the CEO and all them.

They're the ones that had discussions with them. They're the ones that know the financial details. have no clue. I'm just saying what I see from an outsider's point of view. They're the ones that see the financial details coming through. I'm gonna say right now, Rob, there's one comment there saying, you you're ruining lifestyles of these people or livelihoods. I'm sorry, but you selling reselling Munsies is not gonna be your livelihood. They, all the resellers themselves have another business first and foremost before Munsies.

You know, Dale and Bob do a great job with all their, all their geocaching stuff as well. They've been traveling all the USA, you know, in that beautiful van and stuff as well. You know, all those sort of things. They've already got their businesses set up people. It's not about the little bits and pieces that Munzee have implemented. At the same time, what I see again, Rob, from an outsider's point of view, and that is you set up this resellers for the purpose of, you know, obviously sharing the love of physical things like stickers, you know, pure and simple stickers.

And then you got developed further and further and further. Well, things like the, the, the new nightmex, for instance, the four new nightmex that came out, the different colors and all that sort of stuff, the resellers and I love them to death. love them all to death and it's nothing against them, but the resellers didn't do anything in regards to the nightmex in regards to the glass guardians in regards to the virtual stuff. That's all done by Munzee. And then Munzee has been sharing that financial gain with the resellers. You know what I mean? Think about that people.

Seemyshell (15:51.916)
You know, people out there that don't know that, Rob, they don't understand that they're not drawing up these things. All they're doing, and this is another thing, Rob, and that is I had the same as a player. I had this problem when the night mechs came out, right? I'm there, I'm in the USA. I woke up and like, bam, look at this. They're brand four, brand new night mechs. And there's so many people out there gonna agree with me on this. I want to buy all four of them straight away. I'm that type of player. I'm that type of person.

I bought two straight away. The one from free one from Dalen bar, because they're awake and the one from golden coin, he's awake. But then the other two, unfortunately, obviously they're asleep. They're in bed. It's midnight. It's two, three, four AM in the morning. You don't expect them to wake up to press people, press the button to deliver, you know, so other players out there are going to be hampered, you know, not hampered, but you know, by a couple of hours at least, you know, but at the same time this way and what you're doing now.

changes all that so it all basically goes back onto you guys and as you said before it's it's easy when you are in charge of all the deployments so there you go that's my piece anyway Rob so there you go

Rob (16:58.161)
If I'm hey, I appreciate it. You definitely have known a lot more about what's been going on. Yeah, with with all the real details held very deep inside me. Yes, the the resellers themselves, Chris and Rachel at at Northeast geocaching supplies in England. You know, they've

They've always done well promoting they have traveled to some events and that kind of stuff. They, you know, took over when Ruggia left as sort of the de facto shipper across the across Europe. However, when with Brexit, that actually became more difficult for them to ship even over into mainland Europe. As far as future stuff goes with them and to those who talk about the livelihood of

of

of the resellers.

Seemyshell (18:06.2)
See what I mean people? Right there. It's okay, Rob. It's okay. Rob, it's understandable. And as I said before, people don't understand, know, they get all upset about this and whatever else as well. But yes, these people are, they have been supported and throughout this process. It's not, and it's not as if they're going away indefinitely. People, if you want to support your friends and they now become friends, buy your geocaching stuff from them still. You know what mean? They're still selling geocaching gear.

Dale and Barb are still got an actual real shop. That's right. A real open shop now down in Florida. So if you want to support your mates, Dale and Barb, absolutely. Like we do as well, go down there. They're hosting a big event as well in a big geocaching event. It's going to be a block party now in January. so, know, things like that, this is what needs to be done. And I will say this by, the sounds of things, Rob, you got it. He's got it. He's got it. There you go, mate. Off you go.

Rob (18:55.369)
with I got it. I regathered myself. I regathered myself. No Northeast geocaching supplies. So next I've actually talked with them and well, I've talked to all of them. But I'm going to be working with next to to help me out with stuff like personal onesies. Also with the stickers and the main reason for working with them on those things is because the shipping itself is going to be

moving to the UK. It's coming back with me. I'm in Florida to pick up stickers and bring that stuff back. I'll be doing as much shipping as I can wisely so that if I know that I'm coming back to the US because I travel here to, you know, visit my son, my family, you know, if I know that that's coming up, then it wouldn't make sense for me to ship from

the UK if I'm going to be in Florida or Texas next week, let's say. Obviously, the order is going to make it quicker if I just wait until I'm in the US. lots of lots of changes coming to all of that. People are asking questions about shipping prices and all those kinds of things. We haven't even we haven't talked about all of those things as far as there being any changes to the entire system. So we're going to be making those adjustments as needed for right now.

I'm in Florida, I'm going to be doing the US shipping as soon as I get everything. And that's going to happen for the muns pack, for example, this month, then I'm flying home, and I'll be doing the shipping for the rest of the world from there. And what everyone's going to find in the entire rest of the world is the length of time that you waited previously shouldn't be that long anymore. The US might experience a few delays, but

We, like I said, are still working through quite a few things on the team. So, Neg's gonna be working with them on a couple of things. Geologgers are moving on completely. Elliot at Golden Coins moving on completely. Dale and Barb at Space Coast moving on with, like you said, the van, the store.

Rob (21:17.729)
I am in Florida often enough. I don't think this will like I'll never see them again. Pretty sure that I will be around and see them because back in the good old days of geocaching events, big ones. Everyone may not even know this, like I used to be able to hang out at Dillon Barb's table at big mega.

Seemyshell (21:23.596)
No. Yeah.

Seemyshell (21:41.038)
Yes.

Rob (21:44.245)
500 plus person events going cashing. I hung out at their table. I like helped them sell things because they were able to put Munzee products out on the table. Really? Yeah, they did. Groundspeak has come up with a lot more rules over the last five years in particular that have made that not difficult. They've made it impossible. It's not allowed. And Dale and Barb have been really good and they've never broken those rules. So neither have I. I've stayed out of that.

Seemyshell (21:46.882)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (22:06.892)
Yeah. Yeah.

Seemyshell (22:12.994)
Mm-hmm. Yep.

Rob (22:14.313)
We are friends. I know that I will see them again. This is going to happen because we'll be at events. We are doing this amicably as much as possible. so while I understand everyone's concerns about the livelihoods of the resellers, all humans here and very much doing everything that I can to help take care of.

all of those people because that's who that's who it is. It's people. Yeah, hopefully everyone can understand that a bit. I do know this was shocking. This was shocking to the resellers and to the players. Totally get that for warning to all the players. Hey, guess what's going to happen. Just not a thing that is realistic in the real world these days.

Seemyshell (22:48.088)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (22:52.427)
Exactly.

Seemyshell (22:57.016)
Yep. Yep.

Seemyshell (23:05.326)
not just not a realistic role, also technically I'm gonna be a bit harsh here, but not required. At the end of the day, they are players, they are customers. Yes, I get that. I get to understand that they are customers itself as well, you don't, McDonald's for instance, don't ask the customers, what happy meal toy do you want next month? They don't ask the customers that, you know what I mean? So if you don't like McDonald's, you don't buy McDonald's for instance, know, that's harsh, but.

It is true. And the thing is that this is a game. This is a hobby and it's exactly the same, you know, very similar to geocaching and they don't go on like this in regards to geocaching. Why? Because geocaching doesn't change. See Munzee changes, Munzee evolves. you know, the only thing I mean, I'll, I'll tell you now, Rob, and that is from the geocaching community. Some people don't like adventure labs. You know what I mean? So they've really been backlogged about adventure labs. Other people have loved them. So

Rob (23:47.977)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (24:00.864)
It is what it is people, but now Rob, I'm going to get straight on now to some questions because we're getting long in the tooth. This is going to be a long one people. So get ready for it. Normally half an hour. If you're listening, first time listening, normally it's half an hour. You did, you did. So it be, it might be easier for you. Exactly right, Rob. So one of the questions is people are worried about big events like in Minnesota, for instance. And I'm talking about the USA events because

Rob (24:06.441)
Yeah.

Rob (24:09.749)
I'll answer. I'll try and answer quickly. I did answer a few of these questions in my preamble.

Seemyshell (24:26.476)
It doesn't happen around the rest of the world. And I will say this, know, things may change from here on in. they're going to miss out on megas and they're going to miss out on stuff. In other words, they're going to miss out on, buying cheaper zeds, for instance, from Dalen Bob, you know, because they attend a mega event. but I say this, if I'm in the UK, I'm not, I don't get cheaper zeds from attending mega events in the UK. There's more mega events in the UK than what there is in the U S just saying. So what's going to happen there, Rob, in your mind.

Rob (24:52.949)
I've heard this and I've heard I've heard about, you know, the the the issues with things happening for US events and not for the rest of the world. Where this isn't something new to me. What what, you know, others may not know details of is originally I when I was at an event with Space Ghost and they had the ability to sell at a discounted

Seemyshell (25:03.875)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (25:22.673)
rate that program expanded over the years, especially the last five. We I'm not sure if the announcement is going to go out about the Christmas event package before this goes live or not. But I'm to go ahead and leak the information because it is that important to me is that that part of this event package is going to be a discount code for attendees at your event to use.

Seemyshell (25:35.168)
here you go. Yep, yep.

Rob (25:51.829)
for things like that. So this is something where we're going to be able to take sort of a here's how we did things locally and take it more global. So for those who are concerned about events in Uranus, for example, because I have talked with I've talked with my setter talk via message. But you know, just saying like

Seemyshell (26:02.456)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (26:15.841)
Yes,

Rob (26:18.005)
We're gonna help you out. We're gonna take care of your personals. We're gonna take care of your players, your people. Munzee people moving forward, taking care of at big events. And that's just one way.

Seemyshell (26:20.75)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (26:28.354)
So by the sounds of Rob, I'm thinking then, straight away, you said that, and that is people print out the QR code for the badge. They print out the QR code for the event pin itself. So under that, all you need is an actual code for a discounted rate on Zs for blasts, et cetera, you know, especially at those big events. So this is going to be worldwide now. So again, Rob, it's sort of leveling the playing field a little bit more than the normal, saying, which is good.

Rob (26:54.911)
Tryin'.

Seemyshell (26:56.332)
Yeah, exactly. All right, mate, I'm gonna move on to the next one and that is Julie on Facebook. She says, how are you supposed to buy the physical QR stickers if you live in different countries now? There's currently $8 postage in Australia from the reseller, but getting it posted from the US makes them unaffordable. So yeah, what did you say before in regards to the postage of physical stickers?

Rob (27:17.949)
Well, what I would say is that the stickers were the same price anywhere around the world. All the resellers had them at the same price as us. So, yeah, maybe, maybe it costs less locally for postage. If there's a real comparison that's done, if you're buying one set of micros, 50 micros, that's going to be a low.

Seemyshell (27:26.328)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (27:43.957)
number there low price. And for those of you in Australia, me shipping from London, or from sorry, UK. There, there is a quicker transport than from the US to Australia, there's a connection there, that whole goodwill.

Seemyshell (27:56.27)
the US. There you go. There you go. Or, or Rob, it's, and this is not hard to do as well. and that is you can get free QR codes. That's right. Free QR codes. You can get them on the Munzee website itself under your own account, a free generics, and then print them out yourself at your local print shop at your local print store. I mean, yes, it's going to cost you some, a little bit of money in regards to the, the paper, like the sticker printer paper, the vinyl printer stuff.

But at the end of the day, you want, if you want 50, 100, 200, know, 500, a thousand quick QR codes, get that done and then print it out yourself at a print shop. So.

Rob (28:36.307)
You just can't quite get that many because there are limits on your undeployed list. If you print your own, yes. And I'm like, wait. yeah, so the other piece is the generic codes are the ones that we sell that have to be used for replacements on other people's Munsies. We've been having chats for quite a while about something that could

Seemyshell (28:38.894)
okay. Okay. Sorry, I didn't know that. But I'm saying print your own. I'm printing your own.

Seemyshell (28:50.637)
Yes.

Seemyshell (28:55.382)
Yes. Yes. that's right.

Rob (29:03.201)
that could be a 2025 initiative that would make people happy in regards to exactly what we're talking about right now. Yeah, I just, I can't share it all yet. 2025 people, yeah.

Seemyshell (29:06.807)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (29:10.252)
Okay. Okay. Okay. See? No, that's okay. That's okay. And that makes sense. And that makes sense. So people, if you've got your Munzee generics at the moment, use them for replacements. And then if you want to place your own itself, then print out your own. There you go. That's the easiest way to do it. All right. We're to move on. Tyler says, I have questions. So I was planning on getting Glass Guardians from the resellers as well as the freeze tag store in November and December.

So I can get the eight that is required for the permanent one in 2025. Since the resellers have ending, what can I do now?

Rob (29:48.073)
Yes. So this reads as I was going to wait and pay $4 for the Glass Guardians in December from all four resellers. So when the Glass Guardian post went out on Wednesday, me and you right now, Craig, coming up in a couple of hours, that included the information that on Cyber Monday, which is the 1st of December, I believe, maybe the 2nd.

Seemyshell (30:05.494)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Seemyshell (30:15.798)
Okay. Yeah.

Rob (30:16.661)
There will be a product that is a four pack of Glass Guardians for $4. So there you go everyone. Four pack, the four Glass Guardians for $4. So this takes care of the people who were like, I was gonna buy all four of those for $4, $1 spent at each of the resellers. Okay, no problem. I got you. You're right everyone, you're right. Here's your opportunity. Will it be the reseller Glass Guardians? No.

Seemyshell (30:20.782)
And there you go, the 4 pack for $4 total.

Yep. Wow. Wow.

At each, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep. There you go, people.

Rob (30:45.641)
because you're not buying from the resellers. Those of you who bought earlier in the year and you supported the resellers with a larger price point, thank you for doing that. You get that skin. For those of you that were waiting until November and December, I'm sorry, but the reseller glass guardian skin has been re-tired and no one else will be able to buy it.

Seemyshell (30:46.082)
Yep. Yeah, yeah.

Seemyshell (30:51.672)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (31:04.214)
And, let's be honest as well, Rob. and I'll be a hundred percent honest with this. And that is, after being involved now with over 12 months for Muncie and I've got myself a permanent bouncer from, this year, from the last year's, 12 that I got 16 that I got, cause I get 16. can't help myself anyway. I got myself the permanent one. I don't change his, I don't change his skin. I'll be honest. I don't, I just leave him the way he is and he just bounces around happily merrily along. So.

Rob (31:19.701)
Yeah.

Rob (31:25.599)
Yeah. Yeah.

Seemyshell (31:30.45)
there you go. do you need the extra skins? No, you do not. you should have enough of other skins to place on them as it is. there you go. Very good. Very good. Rob C again, Munzey listen, and then take note and, you know, deliver basically most of the time. All right. The next one is from Dave. yeah, I you like that. I slipped it in. a player, I see I'm player first.

Rob (31:51.03)
Most of the time. That was good.

You are?

Seemyshell (31:57.356)
Dave, Dave says this and that is, does this mean I can't buy physical Munzee stickers in the UK anymore or Australia? We've covered that. We've covered that, I believe. So there you go, Dave. We've covered your question, Yeah.

Rob (32:06.185)
Yep. Also, also, hey, Dave, in the UK, like there's a quick ship Europe only sticker that's been in the store for forever. And guess how many of those I sent out? Not that many. But I will be now, except really, I'm probably going to do away with that product because doing all the shipping from the UK. So, yes, we we have we have discussed this one. We have beat this horse.

Seemyshell (32:19.096)
hell it.

Seemyshell (32:26.637)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (32:30.35)
So Rob, what I'm hearing, if you're in the UK, get those stickers now, like straight away, get them now, get them now, get them now. right. Tyler, Tyler says, do we keep, sorry, do we get to keep the resellers pirate mech skins? You know the pirate mechs, et cetera? Yeah, yeah. Do we keep those?

Rob (32:35.669)
Ha

Yeah.

Rob (32:47.101)
I do. do. Yes, the the the pirate Max the hedges the gnomes the glass guardians any of those skins that were unique to reseller if you purchase them from a reseller. Yes. And if you want to buy them beyond now, no, not possible. But yes, you'll you'll be able to recreate those with cogs and switch to the skins if you do have them.

Seemyshell (32:54.412)
Yeah. Yeah.

Seemyshell (33:00.034)
Yes.

Seemyshell (33:08.206)
So, yeah. So technically, technically Rob, you're not retiring the resellers per se, you're just stopping it from now on that you can't purchase stuff from the resellers. That makes sense. That makes sense. All right, yeah.

Rob (33:17.609)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. There will be there will be some things that may come back at some point in time, but it won't be these very specific, unique things that have been sold in the past like this. So, you know, there are some things resellers have sold that that will come back. for right now.

Seemyshell (33:24.992)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (33:31.81)
Mm-hmm. Yep.

Rob (33:39.241)
the resellers have stock that if you want to support them, then please go and buy their stock. Like they still have physical products. So those of you who are concerned about physical products, they have them. The links are still on our store. Please like support them, help them out. That's it.

Seemyshell (33:44.814)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (33:54.562)
Yes. Support them, sell them out, sell them out. You know, make sure they sell everything that they got left. You know, you know, that's, and that's my best way to do it. All right, Rob, exactly. Whatever you can do. this one is from Robert now. Robert says, what about items we already have and are they still deployable such as the cards, et cetera? You know, the, rum cards and the, the, the virtual rums, physical rums, et cetera as well.

Rob (34:00.563)
Yeah. Message them, ask for a discount, whatever else you'd like to do.

Rob (34:20.413)
Everything that's already been purchased is still usable. No problem. We'll have some redeem options available. We do have them already for some of the different types and I'll get creative and have some fun with that over the next couple of months and put some more options in there as well. If we ever do have a future realm related thing, there will be some options to redeem in order to get that kind of stuff. So just for those who are like, yeah, but what about you didn't say this? So what about yeah, anyway.

Seemyshell (34:27.853)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (34:34.402)
Yep,

Seemyshell (34:39.734)
Yeah. Resell app. Right. Right.

Seemyshell (34:48.876)
Yep. Yep. Well, I know people out there, Rob. And as, you do as well, when I was in the Minnesota this year for their big events, something happened out of these cards and publish these pink flamingo things. like, what the heck is happening here with it? And you, said to me, go, those, those came from a card that was sold four, five years ago, something more ridiculous. So people hold onto these things, but it goes to show Rob.

Rob (35:01.676)
Rob (35:07.113)
Yeah.

Rob (35:10.505)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (35:14.188)
That person, I know who it was now, but they deployed it there at the event from five years ago. And it's not sold anymore. You can't buy these things anymore. I haven't been able to purchase them for years, but they still work. They still work people. still work. Yes. Yes, they do. All right. This one is from two separate people in two different messages, Debbie and also Jean as well. Shout out to Jean from the water cooler. Good job, mate. And they ask, will the special curates, sorry.

Rob (35:16.702)
huh.

Rob (35:27.162)
Yeah, people hold their stuff. It's true.

Rob (35:39.845)
hey.

Seemyshell (35:43.726)
Will the special crates when capping a reseller still be available like the rum crates?

Rob (35:44.735)
Hey.

Rob (35:50.709)
Yes, yes they are. Rums are not going anywhere. They just changed what they look like. so yeah, if you cap those and you need a crate, you'll still be able to receive a reseller crate. So it's going to have the same look for now. We may change the look of all these things. You know how the game goes. But yeah, yeah, rum crate's still a thing.

Seemyshell (35:53.57)
Yep. Yep.

Seemyshell (36:05.996)
Yep. Yeah.

Still I think perfect, Mark says, what will happen to the books? this one here, I didn't even know this happened. This existed until only a months ago. What will happen to the books of Personals that Space Coast actually brought to events all over the good old US of A?

Rob (36:16.223)
Yeah. Yeah.

Rob (36:24.469)
Yeah, so to tell everyone what the heck does that even mean? Personal munchies, everyone may not even know what those are, but those are for you to cap whenever you're in person at an event, or just out and about you can you you meet someone. So anyway, we originally had this idea was that MHQ we had a book that people could purchase personal from us, they could leave it there to MHQ. So as other people came through, they kept those they got the points.

Seemyshell (36:35.15)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (36:51.829)
We expanded that to Space Coast and that might be backward actually Barb might have been the person who came up with this idea and we did it Space Coast first and then we expanded it to MHQ for some reason I can hear her in my head going I came up with that idea and now Dale is over here on this shoulder and he's like, no, I'm the one who said it So anyway, it is very likely the three of us work so close together and so many things I got a lot of ideas from them. Sorry reminiscing so

Seemyshell (37:14.338)
Yeah.

Yes.

Rob (37:20.741)
the so they had a book that traveled with them. And anytime that you met them, you could buy a personal to go in this book. They kind of like made a chapter one and closed that book for adding new ones to it. And instead, at opened up like, okay, here's book number two, the sequel. And then that way, anyone who's met them over the years multiple times was able to get a second card. So they travel with I don't know if it's 1000 personals possibly.

Seemyshell (37:28.471)
Okay.

Seemyshell (37:33.23)
Mm-hmm.

Seemyshell (37:43.992)
second.

Seemyshell (37:49.491)
wow. Yeah, yeah.

Rob (37:50.887)
like that people can just sit down and they can, you know, while you're chatting, scan all of those. So so what's happening with those? Well, I'm collecting them. This was the end of Space Coast travel season. So not a lot of points we're to be coming from those in the next couple of months anyway. I'm going to collect those. I'm going to come up with a plan for them in the near future. We will let people know and it probably will reach out to the owners of those, obviously, first.

Seemyshell (37:55.234)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Seemyshell (38:13.006)
Okay.

Seemyshell (38:16.802)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Rob (38:18.697)
I have a couple of ideas, really I want to, well, we have an opportunity to get a little bit creative if we want to. So yeah, everyone's like, my gosh. Yeah, who knows? Honestly, it's gonna be good and people will not, it's not gonna just like, well, you don't have that anymore. That's not happening.

Seemyshell (38:23.614)
what other people come up with. Yes, yes.

Yes. Well, I mean, I know.

Seemyshell (38:37.056)
Yeah, yeah. I do. I do know in geocaching terms as well, Rob, that they've got, they've got the original can of beans, that's still going around in a glass case that you have to hold with, with delicate gloves. it may be, it may be that type of thing. who knows? Who knows? Interesting.

Rob (38:43.775)
Yeah.

Rob (38:48.475)
Yeah, yep, yep.

Rob (38:53.237)
Yeah, let me ask you the final question, because you're the one who's more familiar with this. Looking at the notes here, right? So people have designed gardens using the amazing cup of the gardens this podcast sponsored by a cup of the gardens. people have built all these gardens, they've used rums, sorry, virtual rums, they've used, you know, that kind of thing. Well, now, I can't get any more. What am I going to do? So how can people

Seemyshell (38:57.292)
Yep, yep, Yes, yes, Yes.

Seemyshell (39:07.479)
Yes.

You

Seemyshell (39:14.482)
Yes. Yep. Yep.

Yes, yes.

Rob (39:22.591)
complete or fix incomplete gardens.

Seemyshell (39:25.794)
This is very easy. And this one mostly come from Paul Marx as well. And he was very adamant about this. And obviously the reason why is he's got a thousand gardens out there. And so there's two ways to do this people. There's two things to do. And that is number one, if your garden at the moment is incomplete. So you know, the words you do not have rums on those little rum dot locations that you say, you can go into the edit mode of cuppa Z and edit those to change the different types. So you can get it as a similar color.

Rob (39:34.612)
Ha

Seemyshell (39:54.444)
that you wanted for the garden. Now, unfortunately, it's not gonna be exactly the same color. So if you've got one that's been published already, sorry, deployed, if you got one deployed and then the next one's not deployed, it's up to you whether you wanna change that or not, knowing that you can't purchase any rums anymore. So it's up to you whether you change that or not as being the garden owner. Now, what Paul said, and that is what if, and it's happened before, and this is the best thing about cup of tea gardens is that,

You know, a player decides to quit and remove all their munchies off the game board, et cetera. That includes the pins in your own, in some other people's gardens. And so that garden then becomes incomplete again. Well, if that's the case and it's been removed again, you can either A, you leave it as a rum that it was before and hopefully someone's going to play. there, or B, you can then change it out again and edit that one there. So you can actually change it to a different one because there's nothing deployed there. So there's no issues with you clicking the little edit button.

and and and sort of, you know, getting it off the game board, so to speak, change it out and then go from there. So, Sam, I know if I am mistaken, you're going to let me know and I'm going to correct myself next week. But I'm assuming that's what's going to happen from there. So, Sam, shout out to you, mate. You listen to this podcast every single week. And Rob, I'm telling you now, he's the first one to message me whenever I say something, say something. Rob, I didn't realize that a couple of weeks ago with the with the prize machines when they came out.

Rob (41:09.087)
Hahaha.

Seemyshell (41:16.558)
Sam had this is Sam's personal shout out now ready? Sam hadn't he said to me, he messaged me and he goes, Craig, they don't work like the mailbox on Coupa Z. I'm like, what? Because you said they're like the mailbox. don't. They're not on Coupa Z. went, what? What? that's all right. I'm going to retract it next week. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Within 30 minutes, 30 minutes goes by Sam goes, don't worry. I got you. I fixed it. And then boom update. There it is. It's on the homepage. So Sam made a big shout out to you, buddy. I mean,

You literally saved my backside. But in saying that Rob, we all know if we want something done, we just say it here or live on the podcast and then Sam comes up with it.

Rob (41:55.443)
I mean, if that's the case, then hey, Sam, you know that. I actually I can't talk about it yet. It's coming. Sam, Sam's got some fun coming.

Seemyshell (42:02.418)
there you go. Rob, we're well, we're well, well, well, well, well, well, over time. So no more questions for you. No more questions of the week as well, but I will say I'll end with the Munzee tip of the week. And that is this. These decisions have been in the best interest to all involved from the players, the stores and Munzee itself as well. So let's all look at this in a positive light, like the resellers by the sounds of it, like they have as well. And after all,

Rob (42:05.973)
But it's not from Cuppa

Seemyshell (42:31.168)
The ones that affected is the resellers and Munzee, not so much the players. so if you are a player and affected by this to some degree, then, you know, let's work through this and it's, it's not that big of a deal to be honest with you in my personal opinion, Rob. So, you know, get out there, people get some spirit about you, you know, enjoy some change and, and let's move on and let's, let's see what, see what Munzee comes up with next.

Rob (42:54.749)
If you want to make a difference for the resellers, then hit them up. Get those products that they have. This is your opportunity. I am doing everything that I can with the resellers as well. We're not leaving them empty handed. And these are humans that I've cared about for many years. we, yeah.

Seemyshell (43:00.13)
Yeah. Yeah. Exactly.

Seemyshell (43:06.986)
Mm-hmm. No. No, not at all.

I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to say, Rob, I'm going to say this is my, this might've been a little kick in the butt for all up, including myself, all players out there who sort of rested on their laurels. You know what I mean? And all of a sudden now these poor resellers, I'm going to say poor resellers, cause they're to be busier in the next month and a half or two months more so than what they'll have been in the last 12 months. So, yeah, exactly right. Get out there. Exactly right. Get out there and, and still support. And you know, let's just say this, let's be honest, 95 % of players are co-existors.

Rob (43:33.587)
More physical shipments going out the door. I have a feeling, yeah.

Seemyshell (43:43.118)
And so all these resellers still sell, you know, coexisting type items. So still go out there and still buy your items from these special stores. yes, that's all I'm going to say. And that's going to be the tip of the week. So Rob, this finally, this, this here finally ends another official Munzee podcast.

Rob (43:54.399)
Thanks everyone. Thank you.
