Craig (00:00.854)
Welcome to the Official Munzee Podcast.
Rob (00:03.44)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.
Craig (00:07.304)
And I'm Craig also known as Seemyshell I started as an avid Munzee player, now proudly part of the team.
Rob (00:13.778)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.
Craig (00:20.568)
So sit back, relax, grab me a cup of coffee, drive your car to work, however you do it. As I say always, Rob today, we're mostly, mostly talking about the week or the weekend, the big weekend that was. If you didn't come to this weekend, Rob, it's okay. You probably still had a hand in the game itself by placing cards and virtuals and other types as well. So yeah, let's just see if you didn't play, if you weren't there, but let's see. You hear it from people that were, Rob, what do you think?
Rob (00:47.59)
I think that sounds great. It was a great time.
Craig (00:50.644)
It really was, man, it really was. So, but before we go straight into it, Rob, because we normally do, what else have you been up to, mate? What else? What else?
Rob (01:01.576)
Well, I've just been hanging out here in Florida under the nice gray English sky. Basically, rain, man. It's been raining and cold. And we do love talking about the weather, don't we? But I'm actually headed back to the UK today. So I'm going to take the rain with me, hopefully. Maybe you guys can keep it sunny here in Florida.
Craig (01:06.754)
Hmm.
Craig (01:18.83)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (01:24.202)
Yeah, well, parts of Florida, like Pensacola on the panhandle have had snow, the most snow they've ever had ever, like ever. think the people before that, think the biggest snowfall or something was like two inches, et cetera. Now they're up to four and six inches, It's snowing on the beach. And if you're from Australia, listening to this as well, because there's a few of you out there, you're like me. And that is we've never seen snow on the beach, Rob, until I came here. So snowing on the beach.
Rob (01:31.997)
Wow.
Rob (01:49.714)
Hmm. Yeah. That's... Who knew it was the thing? Well...
Craig (01:54.548)
white sand and white snow mixes all together. anyway, anyway, anyway, I've actually been, Rob, I found myself a brand new podcast, speaking of podcasts, a brand new podcast. This one is a brewery podcast. I know you're like Craig, what's this got to do with Munzee? This is a Munzee podcast. You're going to talk about Munzee stuff, but it is, is run by two fun Munzee players as well. It's called the Brewery Adventure and it's hosted by, ready for this, Rob?
Rob (01:57.556)
haha
Rob (02:04.009)
Yeah.
Craig (02:24.738)
Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy. Well, that's one person, not three. and he's, and I call it Rob, I got in trouble last time. Cause I think I call it his Munzee daughter. And that's Mecca MN as well. She runs it with him. So the two of them, two of them came together through Munzee, of course. And, and then obviously after they go to events in Minnesota, they find a brewery. And after listening to you and I, I listened to myself and Josh as well.
Rob (02:38.835)
Yeah
Craig (02:50.734)
They said, wouldn't it be good to actually have a brewery podcast? So they started a brewery podcast. What do you think about that?
Rob (02:55.678)
Very cool. I think that I listened to their intro episode and episode, I guess, two, the first one though that was a big episode. Listened to those, but haven't listened to the brand new one yet. That's part of my flying listening. Yeah. So coming up later today for me.
Craig (03:12.416)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob, I listened to them as well and I got slightly jealous Rob because as part of their brewery podcast, as part of their brewery podcast itself, as they record, they go and open a beer each while they record. I was like, why can't we do that Rob?
Rob (03:19.677)
Yeah.
Rob (03:30.804)
Hmm... Hmm...
Yeah, probably because we recorded like 8 a.m. I mean, no judgment, of course, but maybe that's the best of the reasons. Yes, they...
Craig (03:46.858)
It's 12 o'clock somewhere. It's 12 o'clock somewhere. That's all I'll say. I mean, you can rip open your mother instead of the, as in the can of mother I'm talking about, like the drink. Or monster. What do you drink? Monster. Yeah, could click open your monster and I could cheese my coffee. But anyway.
Rob (03:51.668)
Indeed,
Rob (04:00.596)
Oh, monster. I drink, yeah, I monster today.
Craig (04:06.944)
Mate, apart from that, there is a new video out as well on my channel and it's the tour of the town in Lakeland. You get a couple of little pieces in there as well, I see, because you and I did the, and we'll talk about this again in today's podcast. We did the tour of the town in Lakeland, Florida. And at the same time, hopefully it's out by now, is the new official Munzee channel. And that is the wrap up of the big events. And we had a lot of players, Rob. A lot of players, you know, I reached out during the event and I said, you know,
Rob (04:16.712)
Yeah.
Rob (04:21.854)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (04:36.16)
If you want to be on camera, yep, hit me up. It's nice short little piece. And basically it's just introducing yourself and ask and saying why you like Munzee for. So I had a lot of people, Rob, reach out, which is really, really cool to see. And, I appreciate everyone who did record. I appreciate everyone who didn't and that's their choice. But, it does make for a very fun video when you come and, and introduce yourself and show the players around the world. You know, they, they say your Munzee name all the time, but now they can put a face to the name.
Rob (04:48.212)
That's cool.
Rob (05:05.372)
Yeah, it's a good thing.
Craig (05:07.35)
Yeah, yeah, exactly. All right, mate, do you want to move on with the with the big big boards the weekend was Exactly we had in the USA we had five big events all in Florida and you'll hear about that in most all the way through today's episode and around the world Rob
Rob (05:14.398)
So much to talk about with leaderboards, we should jump to it.
Rob (05:27.678)
We had one in British Columbia, Canada, Norway, Holland, Germany, and Western Australia.
Craig (05:35.086)
Now Rob, I had to start on Thursday, because we always say we call out the millionaires, so I had to start on Thursday because that's when the triple points started, you see. So I'll start Thursday, Rob, because that way gives me Saturday's the most numb name. here we go. Ready for this, ready for this. Thursday, in first place, we had no longer the bridesmaid, Munzie Prof with 1.3 million points, Eagle Dad and Xenia on 1.2 million points, and
Rob (05:40.52)
Yeah.
Rob (05:45.651)
Yeah.
Rob (05:51.209)
Yeah.
Craig (06:02.286)
a name that you'll hear throughout today's episode. Q 22 Q 17 with 1.2 million points. We also had a total of five millionaires including those three, K Wilheim, 001 and Fun Bro. Again, we may talk about him through today's episode as well. On Friday, Rob.
Rob (06:20.484)
So many fun people we hung out with all right Friday back again on the leaderboard and number one is q22 q17 with six point four million Marley fans CT is four point two million Geo Matrix at three point one million. So that's first second and third. However, there were a total of 23 millionaires. So listen up people here. They are it's Jaffa 43 W Helen
Eagledad and Nixenia Munzeeprof KpCrystal07 Fins Daniel41101 Bullseye Shooter Fins2LR AnnaBanana TheLanes NYboss Raven on the Road Mrs. CB Mr. CB Jackpot Gene TheLonePenguin XP2 FunBro and Gatlin
Craig (07:13.038)
Yeah, that's really cool. All right, ready for Saturday. Saturday we had a, I'm not sure if this person had received a first place before on the podcast I'm talking about, I don't believe so. And that is Finn's 2LR in first place with 4 million points, followed by Mickey Lin, 71, 3.8 million. And then third place, Q22Q17 with 3.8 million points, 28 million as in total. The others are Colecracker7, Anna Banana,
Rob (07:16.244)
Mmm.
Craig (07:41.678)
Bandi Rooster, The Pacer, Galen, Raven on the Road, Jack Bojee, Ms. YB, Daniel41101, McDonner, BitFam18, SarahMackK, KpCrystal07, Jaffo43, FunBro, Kpr1000, W Helen,
The Lanes Munzee Prof and Chetru Mrs. CB, Vado Tech, Heart Zap, Bullseye Shooter and is that Five Acres Hunting? Wow, wow, wow. Before we move on Rob, we must say there's a few in there that came here for the purpose of getting the Millionaires badge and I know Five Acres Hunting was one of them. know the other one was.
Rob (08:24.062)
High-vacors hunting, yeah.
Rob (08:38.356)
Bullseye shooter was pushing while we were at the event to get to a million? Yeah.
Craig (08:43.488)
Yeah, yeah, BitFam, BitFam 18 as well was there as well for that purpose too. So yeah, exactly. And before we move on again, just to let you know of those 28 millionaires, Rob, 27 were in Florida. So if that doesn't prove to everyone out there, get yourself to one of these big events or if you can't get to one, try and host a big event, you know, for these big points. People do place cards for you. You can get big, big points. All right, Rob, on Sunday we had...
Rob (08:45.64)
Yeah, that morning.
Rob (08:56.392)
Yeah.
Rob (09:12.98)
Q22Q17 with 2.4 million, GeoMatrix with 1.9 million, WHedlin with 1.4 million, and a total of 6 millionaires, so the other 3 were Munzee Prof, NYBoss, and Raven on the Road.
Craig (09:26.19)
That's really, really cool. Now a special shout out, a special shout out has to be made Rob, has to be made. This person flew all the way literally, literally Rob across the country from LA. They live in California all the way across to Florida. And that is Q 22, Q 17. And for that big flight over Rob, I added all her points up. Ready for this over the four days Thursday. And she was only there Friday, Saturday, Sunday too. She wasn't there Thursday, but over the four days she got over four.
14 million points Rob Rob
Rob (10:03.144)
That is that that's what happens when you've never been to an area before that is covered up like the central Florida region is because she spent the beginning of the day on Friday going around all of the Disney parks and and getting a bunch of those moneys. And then when you you go from there to the event locations that are completely covered with cards, thousands and thousands of them. Yeah.
Craig (10:07.992)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (10:31.548)
It turns into quite a busy weekend, but also one filled with points.
Craig (10:34.606)
Exactly. I will say Rob as well, and that is people out there who couldn't come up to the event, some of them are very, very, very, very smart because they placed cards that they knew that were gonna expire throughout the weekend. And the way the four events were hosted around the same sort of area, but in different spots, they knew where it could be centrally located whereby people travel through this area every day for the next three or four days.
So once their car was capped all the way through and then expired, they then replaced the car in the same spot and got the same amount of caps again, because as you and I both know, Rob, we traveled through that town several times going between events and after events, before events, getting breakfast, getting lunch, Robert, lovebirds, anyway, that's a different story again, that lunch at lovebirds. We're love bros, not lovebirds. Anyway.
Rob (11:20.052)
Hmm. yeah.
Craig (11:29.866)
Moving on, I also spoke with another gentleman. He is a gentleman and his name is Frank, also known as Munzee Prof as well. He read me his email because he saves, he loves his email Rob. How many people out there get the daily emails or the weekly email? I don't get it. What is it?
Rob (11:47.348)
I don't know, I hope that people are raising their hand in their car right now when you just said, how many people out there get the email? Because that's what I felt like doing, because I do. Yeah, so you can get a daily email sent to you with your point record, and it shows badges and all that kind of stuff. Yeah, it's an option online, munzee.com slash settings. You can choose to have that. And then there's also a weekly wrap up email.
Craig (11:53.012)
Craig (12:03.862)
cool.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (12:14.542)
I'm
Rob (12:15.272)
that comes here. And I think Frank was talking to you about his weekly email.
Craig (12:19.566)
Yes, it was his weekly one. Yeah, he was talking about his weekly one because he was talking about back in May of 2014, May. So we're talking 11 years ago. He had at that point in time, he had a record week for points, massive for him. He celebrated like, you know, pop the champagne cork. I don't know if he drinks, but does the whole lot, you know, dances around the living room because his record for the week, Rob, for the week was a massive, ready for this? 514 points for the week.
Rob (12:47.592)
Wow.
Craig (12:48.942)
And he showed me, goes, can you believe this in terms of the amount of points that everyone's getting today's Munzee play as opposed to back in the day? So 514 points. Was that, was that, was really a big, big week week, not day week.
Rob (12:57.822)
Yeah.
Rob (13:03.188)
It's a while since the points looked like that. but that's point inflation, isn't it? It's a thing.
Craig (13:09.71)
Yes, yes, exactly. At the same time though, it's also, you're involving more players, you're involving more actual Munsies, know, virtuals now rather than just the physical side of the game. You know, there's lots and lots of, when it comes to point flation, they say, it's not just about, you know, oh, now Greeny's worth, you know, 20 points, 40 points, you know, that sort of thing too. It's actually more than just that. So it's the more, the more there is, the more there is, that's it. So.
Alright Rob, events coming up this weekend we have in USA, in Florida and in Kansas and I'll be at the one in Florida Rob. Yes, thank you, thank you. You won't be there. So if you can make this one in Florida, come and see me because I'll have my badge with me Rob. My bunsy badge. Special new badge. Around the world mate we have.
Rob (13:44.884)
Enjoy. Enjoy.
Rob (13:55.348)
Special new badge. That's good. Yeah, one over in UK and two down in New South Wales, Australia.
Craig (14:04.588)
Yes, and those two, one of them is the big Munzee Quest event in Sydney, Australia on the weekend on a Saturday too. that'll be cool to see. By the way, if you listen to this podcast and you use things like Instagram or Facebook, et cetera, make sure if you post a photo on your social media, tag, tag, actually at Munzee, like tag Munzee in it. And you never know, Rob, what the social media team in Munzee may or may not do with those things. So just saying. So make sure if you're at these big events,
Rob (14:30.26)
Yeah.
Craig (14:31.97)
You know, show us how much fun you're having. us as well. yeah, because everyone likes to see that. Even the whole team likes to see people, especially from countries they've never been to, like Australia, most of them. All right, Rob, the big events. Yes, there's Munzey Quest in Sydney, Australia, but there's also on the same day in West England, UK celebrating posh rule as well. So get yourself to that. There's Munzey Madness in California. Six events, March 7th and 8th.
Rob (14:43.055)
True.
Craig (14:58.03)
25 is attending there so far along with myself and a few other maybe from Freestag itself. April 5th, there's three events in West Midlands UK. May 3rd is Munzee and Uranus, Big Fun and Uranus. 28 and me attending as well. May 24th is Munstock with the trio of myself, the GCV and of course you Rob and a few other big Munzee players will be there as well. June 7th and 8th, we have Ohio hosting SOS and that looks like it's be a big weekend as well.
So that looks really really cool. And I was also one weekend in the UK Rob too. So yeah, keep an eye on that. I did get a gentleman come up to me during the weekend Rob and spoke to me in regards to maybe hosting a large or hoping to host a large event up at the upstate New York near the Buffalo, near the Niagara Falls sort of region. So all I'll say is stay calm and listen out for that one.
Rob (15:34.484)
Well, that's good.
Rob (15:50.558)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (15:55.538)
Hey nice nice one that was good
Craig (15:56.09)
Hey, there you go, there you go. And for those who don't know, CALM is their group name and it stands for Caching Adventure Labs Munzee. So C-A-L-M, so that's really cool. So a shout out to them as well. All right, Rob, let's start out with what happened this week or what's coming up this week in Munzee HQ.
Rob (16:16.356)
All righty, let's see. The first thing, I guess, to talk about is the fact that we put out the event packages for February. So we have the dancing duo events. for those of you that are big event hosts, you enjoy doing all these things all the time. Be sure you check the blog to get all of the information. And for those of you who have never hosted an event, you can put an event on completely for free. Put it on the calendar.
Then there are different levels of things in order to to, you know, make that more interactive with Munzee for ten dollars. You can get the pink pin and then you get an event account set up that you can use. But this special package is seventy five dollars. And with this, you get a badge, you get double cake on that badge. So it's one hundred instead of the fifty. You get fifty event dancing diva greeting cards. So these are the exclusive ones only for February.
Every attendee is going to get a free emerald when they cap the pink pin. There's no proximity. Get a dancing duo's host badge for up to four hosts. We're also going to be doing what we did in December. We're going to give a 25 % discount code for any of the attendees to use on the online store. And the way to get this all started is to put an event on the calendar. And then there'll be an email that comes automated from Lou.
respond to that email and ask for the Dancing Duo package to be put on your events. That's how it's done. All that simple. Put it on the calendar, respond to the email.
Craig (17:51.875)
thing.
Craig (17:55.342)
Exactly. And, Rob, you did say there as well, because people do say, I asked me in regards to events, cause they hear this on the podcast and look, I'll be honest, Rob, there's a lot of people who've never been never ever, ever been to a Munzee event before, you know, and, I was one of those people as well. yeah, you don't have to pay for the full amount, et cetera, et cetera, because it says there, Rob, you just said that, you can have dancing duo host badge. Now you can have up to four people host this. In other words.
you can spread the cost as well. for literally less than $20 each, if you, there's four people involved, you can do a full event yourself over the, with the four people, all four of the hosts get a hundred cake each for, for, for capping the badge as well. So it's well worth it, Rob, you know, if you can get a little group together of four people, know, 20 bucks each, you know, and you can have a big, big fun time as well. Put out all the pins.
Rob (18:38.164)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (18:52.334)
You know, Rob, might, I may or may not, I'm gonna rope myself in here. I may or might not have to do some sort of event tutorial, I dare say, very, very soon. I just thought about it and see, this is what happens.
Rob (19:02.74)
I know a person who runs events that wouldn't mind at all if there was a little event tutorial video that was out there. Yeah. The backend piece of event hosting. Yeah. What a shocker. Yeah.
Craig (19:12.342)
you
See Rob, see Rob, you're not the only one that literally just speaks before they think, but anyway, putting out more work for myself.
Rob (19:20.208)
I know, I know. Well, Lou doesn't listen, but someone's gonna email her and tell her, but that's okay.
Craig (19:26.414)
Yes, exactly. That's someone probably Sam. that was no, was Sam. You don't have to do that. You don't have to do that. But yeah, Rob, anything else, any other information in regards to events? mean, we talk about them all the time. I personally love them. I love them. Like, love them with a passion, to be honest with you. So, you know, yeah, I might have to do. Yeah.
Rob (19:39.398)
No. Yeah, we do. Yeah.
Rob (19:47.676)
It's a great way, great way to grow the game. And the good news is that you threw yourself under the bus there and you're looking a little flat from it. What do think of that?
Craig (19:54.222)
Yeah, I did.
Craig (19:58.606)
look at you, Rob, the podcaster with the segue. Wow. Wow. Wow. I'm looking flat, Rob, because there's a new flat, flat Aussie out there in the field as well. That took me by surprise. Rob, this time of the morning, you're coming up with quality like that. Wow.
Rob (20:09.876)
I know, it was a good one.
Craig (20:17.454)
If you haven't seen it, there is a new flat Aussie out there. I'm very proud. I'm very honored, Rob, to be honest with you as well. And I'm excited for this new flat to be out and about on the map. If you haven't seen it, it is my hat, my legendary hat that I wear, the flat Aussie. And it is just a flat Aussie too. So it's representing of all other Australians and cultures out there. Rob, there's badges that come with it. So if you deploy one, you get a badge. Deploy cap one, you get a badge.
And then obviously like, like the other flats out there too, then you kept, know, whatever it is, number 25 or a hundred, 5,000, all those sorts of ones. There's other badges for that too. So that then the badges, Rob, again, the artwork, I can't, I can't fault it. Can you? No, it's so, I've already had two people message me saying, Oh my goodness, it is so cute. They love the cuteness factor of the, the artwork as well. And one of those people was Eagle Dad in Xenia, but no, no, was, I'm just.
Rob (20:59.326)
No.
Rob (21:14.58)
It might be.
Craig (21:16.654)
Yep, yep, yep, yep. Also, yeah, what else is there in regards to the flat? My new flat came out, Rob. Because people said, where's the, what do call it, where's the discounts? Where's the special offering at the moment, too? Some people ask for specials.
Rob (21:25.502)
Yeah.
Rob (21:32.484)
when, when flats release, they just release when we do scatters. When we do the flat scatter events, that's when the discount gets thrown and all the scatters and all that kind of stuff starts to happen. So everyone stay tuned because there's all kinds of opportunities for, you know, an Aussie to start scattering things. Let's see. Let's.
Craig (21:37.324)
Mm-hmm.
yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (21:52.833)
Yes.
Craig (21:59.79)
I wonder what an Aussie would scatter. Veggie mine and...
Rob (22:02.0)
I don't even know.
I can't remember what the correct answer is, so I'm just gonna say I don't even know. Who knows?
Craig (22:12.093)
Yes, exactly. No, no, you weren't really involved in that particular conversation. But anyway, but I will say, Robin, I'll ask you this question. You can answer it or not as well. And that is, is a possibility whereby there's maybe a flat scatter event almost every month this year.
Rob (22:15.592)
Yep.
Rob (22:28.308)
yeah, we could go with that just because, we, if I remember correctly, yeah, we've, we've planned things out, and, and it does, it seems like that's correct. We, we always tried to do that, but I think we might actually succeed this time.
Craig (22:30.636)
Yeah.
Craig (22:39.918)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:44.27)
That's really cool. That's really cool. Also Rob extremely proud as well to say that my new staff badge I had made up. It worked really, really well at the event. Some people were happy again with their new Meet See My Shell staff badge. So this one here, if you don't know what it is, as I said, if you've never been to an event, if you go to an event and there's a staff member at events such as Rob, Lou, the other Craig, the real Craig, there's me, there's so many others out there as well. Dylan, Mari, the whole lot.
if they've got special badges and you can only cap them once and once you cap it, you get a special badge saying you've met Rob, you've met Lou, you've met Craig, et cetera. So yeah, I've got my own one, Rob too. And again, love the art again, love the art. He made me look so young. look so young, He's, he's airbrushed, he's airbrushed, worked really, really hard, really, really well. All right, Rob.
Rob (23:24.884)
Thank you!
Rob (23:30.884)
impressive isn't it he's got his his his pen has skill wow that's what it was
Craig (23:39.746)
From all this happy, happy chat, chat, chat, let's talk into now something that wasn't so happy over the weekend. I wanted to discuss with you and be very transparent in regards to the slow speed of the servers. Also the issues that were experienced on Thursday in regards to the blasts. Now I say this because some people out there and rightfully so, they experienced the frustration, but I'll let everyone know now, everyone know that Rob and myself were probably, if...
Rob (23:54.836)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (24:08.236)
like just as frustrated, if not more frustrated with everything because we are players as well. We were in a high dense area. We couldn't play the way we like to play. We couldn't play properly either. So, you know, we had to resort to, you know, not playing as much, you know, holding off, having conversations. Rob discussed with us the slow speeds and the bomb issue.
Rob (24:31.912)
Yeah, Thursday, the I guess kind of the main issue was really happening locally for us in Florida as far as blasting concerns, just because the area was so densely packed with virtuals, which is a really great problem to have because it's not a problem. But yeah, the response of players everywhere just had everything so packed that
the system was not able to get through. if you drove out a couple of miles, blasts were possible. However, that didn't help us out at the location of the event. So thankfully, the team was able to jump in, did some work throughout late Thursday to get everything back online for all the blasts. So for those of us that were at the event, those started to work. That was a good thing. Then for those who deployed,
their points then, you know, should have started rolling in, as people were able to, to get them the cards and everything that were placed a bit further than, hand capping, reach. So, the other thing that was going on was, just kind of a general slowdown all of last week, or for the last probably 10 days. And as people are listening about two weeks, of the
Craig (25:41.976)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (25:56.122)
actual processing speed itself so that you tap the button and it takes, you know, four to six to 10 seconds possibly for captures to process and then for the message to pop up saying, congrats, you capped it, that kind of thing. We do know about all of those things. We are working on all of those things. It's a, it is a, it is a juggling game for us to try and find the right balance and
the balance slipped over the last couple weeks. And so, yeah, we're working hard to, I don't know, refactor is one of those words that I hated from a couple of years ago so much because I heard it quite a bit internally that we're refactoring the code. some of that has to do with what's going on is just trying to rebuild things to streamline so that so that we can save on resources, but also
keep the speed. So the goal is get the speed back up. Everybody being able to play quickly the way that the bigger players may be on the move playing and need captures to process quickly. That is the goal. That is what we all want. So appreciate the patience. We are getting there and we will keep working on it until we do.
Craig (27:16.652)
Yeah, exactly. And I will say now Rob that I'm on the other side of the fence or even just peeking over the other side of the fence to a certain degree. And that is what you hear Rob say is absolutely true. don't hear, sometimes you hear him, he gets, he gets, he's very passionate about this game. It's, it's your game, Rob. It's you, you, you've got a love of this game too. So every time, you know, something happens like this, I personally don't, I see you changing you. see.
Rob (27:23.153)
Yeah.
Craig (27:43.032)
I see your shoulders go up, your back sort of arch a little bit as well, whereby the stress, you can see the stress levels go through your neck and to a point where you stress really, really hard in regards, and rightfully so, but people don't see that. All people see is, it's not working for me, and so, mungy again, mungy again. It's not just about that. Yes, it is frustrating, and I appreciate that. It's frustrating for all of us, but it's not frustrating for anyone more so than Rob.
Rob (27:55.772)
it.
Craig (28:12.818)
will say that too. So it's, true, Rob. It's true. Cause I watched you, I watched you from the inside. And, when I say I watched you from the inside, mean, like, you know, on the Thursday night event, Rob, couldn't go out and enjoy the event because you were literally, I did, I went out and, and, and when it walked the walk, the whole loop around a beautiful park. It was at night as well on, on dusk.
Rob (28:14.292)
All right.
Yeah.
Craig (28:36.194)
beautiful park, know, his jeans and a short sleeve shirt even, you know, the weather was absolutely divine for the walk in winter. A beautiful lake, beautiful people that I walked with as well, you know, had lots of fun conversations. And there's Rob, literally, you know, in his phone and in discussions with the team the whole time, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. That went on for over an hour, Rob, I will say, in my walk around. And then just as I got back, you looked at me and you go,
Rob (28:40.606)
Hmm.
Rob (28:52.084)
You
Craig (29:05.164)
Blasts are working again.
Rob (29:07.116)
Yeah, you guys had completed your walk around the lake and it was like the timing couldn't have been better because you were one of the first groups coming back and I was like, yes, it's back online. So yeah, very thankful to the team that they didn't stop and my pressure wasn't too much because it's definitely a balance of my pressure but also on the servers themselves. yeah, everyone know that we feel it.
Craig (29:11.917)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (29:17.118)
Exactly. Yep. Yep.
Mm-hmm.
Hehehehehe
Craig (29:32.878)
Exactly.
Rob (29:36.748)
I personally feel it and it is something that we are going to continue to fix and to get right. And February events are going to be great, so get one on the calendar.
Craig (29:36.941)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (29:44.713)
Exactly.
Yes, yes. One more thing I'll go before we go into the question of the week, et cetera, because we are running out of time and that is standby because there is work on the backend as well in regards to the boosters and the blasts. So in other words, they're trying to get it right and Rob's really literally riding them like a race horse. He really is because what they need, and rightfully so, rightfully so, they need to be able to...
Rob (29:54.228)
Yeah.
Craig (30:15.626)
Once you click that blast and you've got a booster on, doesn't matter how long a process is in the background. But once it actually, you click that blast and the blast goes off and if the boost is activated, it should encompass all of them. That may or may not have been a case, Rob, from last week when we spoke about it too. You honestly thought it actually happened and worked until the backend started and Sam messaged me and said, Craig, that doesn't really work like that. was like, what?
And so within the week, not just all this other stuff happening, but within the week, Rob, you've got another little group together going, okay, I want this fixed and I want it done now ASAP. you're riding their coattails, come on, get the whip cracking too, which is really cool. All right, Rob, we're gonna go with the Munzee question of the week now from Colecracker7 on Facebook. She said, I see the flat Ozzie was added to the store, so I thank you for that, but are you no longer going to sell flat hammock, flat mat, flat van, flat rums?
Rob (30:57.46)
Meh.
Rob (31:12.18)
Flat mat, flat hammock, they show up from time to time. They're not available all the time. We've never sold the flat van or the flat rum in the freeze tag store. Flat van was Space Coast, flat rum was associated with all resellers. I don't know still the final answer for what we will do as far as selling flat van or flat rum. I'm not sure.
Craig (31:42.488)
That's the answer.
Rob (31:42.512)
hold your horses, Cole, cracker seven. I don't, I don't know the answer. You'll, you'll see all four of these types. I don't know how you'll see them, but everyone will have an opportunity at some point in time. I can't say for sure all four, but you know, yeah.
Craig (31:52.845)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (31:58.766)
Exactly. All right, the request, we've got two requests now from the week end from the Munzee Mecca, one of which was, event accounts be on multiple phones to allow multiple people to assist with pin deploys Rob? There we go, yeah, that's an easy. Request number two was, and actually I didn't mind this request. This one wasn't at the event, this one was only yesterday as the flat Aussie came out. Can the new flat Aussies attract.
Rob (32:10.558)
No.
Craig (32:25.646)
the Aussie bounces out there like the gnomes, the flamingos, the dragons. You know the ones with the Aussie skins attached to them? Yeah, that's interesting.
Rob (32:32.702)
Hmm, that's interesting. we... I think that's possible. I don't know. We should probably check instead of just making it happen. We should check. Yeah.
Craig (32:41.346)
Yeah, Sam. Yeah, yeah, yeah, don't make it. Just check first. Yeah, so that's a, we'll circle back Rob. Circle back, that's another word we love. All right, Rob, we're end with the Munzee tip of the week and this one is from me personally with all my, because I love the physical game, I know so many people who do, and that is give good hints when placing your physical Munzee. So the Munzee name can be the telltale sign such as, know,
Rob (32:50.93)
Hmm, I like that. That's good, yeah.
Craig (33:08.084)
or take a seat or LP or whatever, but then add a direct hint in the detail section such as, you know, bottom right corner, et cetera. This will allow easier capping and ultimately more caps for you being the deployer. It also will stop the replacement of if a player can't locate it. And sometimes there's two stickers on the one item, Rob. We've all seen that too. So give, give good hints, Rob, give good hints. There's in the description part, it's easy to do. What do you think?
Rob (33:29.577)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (33:35.794)
I think that it makes total sense because, you know, this is a game about finding the QR code, not hiding the QR code. So yeah.
Craig (33:38.018)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (33:41.996)
Yeah, no, no, exactly, exactly. All right, Rob, over time as always. So this ends another official Munzee podcast.
Rob (33:51.784)
Thanks for joining us on this Munzee adventure.
