Craig (00:01.75)
Welcome to the Official Munzee podcast.
Rob (00:04.056)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.
Craig (00:08.242)
And I'm Craig also known as Seemyshell, I started off as an avid Munzee player, now I'm proudly part of the team.
Rob (00:13.422)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.
Craig (00:20.29)
So sit back, relax. Today's episode, we're going to chat about events and products and a brand new flat scatter event. Disclaimer though, Rob, before we start the next few minutes, I'm not going to give it an exact timeframe, but the next few minutes, we are going to chat about the recent events in a place in Missouri. We're going to chat all about your anus, Rob. And it started already. begins with the E. Why not? Why not? Well, that's what you've been up to, mate. We've both been up to. We've been in your anus for the whole weekend.
Rob (00:38.448)
Hey, all right, so it begins now. Is that right?
Rob (00:48.956)
I mean, let's just go there. Okay. So I had a great time in Uranus and I saw some people that I have not seen for like seven or eight years. So it was a very interesting place to meet up with, you know, these people, Uranus, but what are you going to do? We had an event there. So the people came, it was, it was really, really great to, to see a lot of those familiar faces from back in the day.
Craig (00:53.901)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (00:59.639)
Wow.
Craig (01:04.362)
Yeah. Wow.
Craig (01:18.606)
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, exactly. Yeah, there was lots of people in Uranus, Rob. I saw that too, because you had a big smile on your face. So that was lots of fun. We both had a lot of fun and a lot of joy in Uranus. I will say that as well, Yeah.
Rob (01:29.89)
Indeed. when, so you and I both went to Uranus. We visited the fudge factory. There was Uranus jail, put pirates in Uranus. So we played a little mini golf. so to let everyone know Uranus like really embraces, the teenage boy humor, the shirts are all about it. signs, like literally everything. So,
Craig (01:35.008)
Mm hmm. Yes. Yes.
Yes, exactly.
Craig (01:57.816)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (01:59.48)
Some of those jokes might be the ones that we used while we were there. Maybe there are even a few of what come up now, mostly from you, but still.
Craig (02:07.52)
is but also Rob as well, there's a lot we're not going to use from there either because there's a lot we're not going to I've just held back. I've held back for the past one minute now after you talking because you know, I had a couple in my inside my lovely little brain of mine. but anyway, I'm gonna I'm gonna leave it there. I will say a big thank you and a big shout out to the event hosts of Uranus as well. They did a great job. All of them and there's a lot
Rob (02:12.077)
I
I appreciate that.
Rob (02:25.948)
You
Craig (02:33.522)
before we move on as well, there is a brand new Munzee event video that I, I took while I was there, Rob as well. that's on the Munzee YouTube channel. There is even a, one coming out. disclaimer. spoiler it. There's one coming out from Joshua, the geocaching vlogger. I had, I had, we had Joshua in Uranus too, like over the weekend and
Rob (02:52.283)
Ooh.
Rob (02:55.801)
Indeed, he was there.
Craig (02:57.376)
He was there as well. that's what mean. We had some big players there. We had a Bob W. Helen. He was there. He didn't do some videos. He actually relaxed a little bit this time as well. He did do some shorts videos. So have a look at that on the Munzee Events YouTube channel. That's his YouTube channel as well. All the links to all these channels are in the show notes anyway, Rob too. So yes.
Rob (03:16.966)
Yeah. So since you've mentioned two specific players, I think we should just go ahead and say the name of the main host, NYI Sutter, Jennifer, thank you. And your family, you drug your family along for the fun. Really set up some great events. We started off at Route 66 Diner, which, you know, it's not publicized that, that's not Uranus. There's not a Route 66 Diner in Uranus.
Craig (03:19.928)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah. Yes.
Craig (03:28.141)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (03:33.838)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (03:40.972)
No.
Rob (03:42.092)
It is actually in St. Robert. St. Robert is the town that's next door. That's where the majority of the events actually happened. But in the Munzee world, heck no, all of it was in Uranus. So we, we just, leaned into that. Didn't we? She built a lot of gardens. we had quite a few other co-hosts. Like you said, another of the main ones was Bazfam. and, I haven't seen him for seven or eight years. It was, it was cool. Yeah. Cool to catch up with him.
Craig (03:48.323)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (03:52.78)
Exactly.
Craig (04:07.928)
Wow.
Mm-hmm.
Rob (04:11.536)
Quite a few others. and this is where it would be dangerous for us to try and list out all of them. Right. That would be bad. But I, I'm going to throw one more because another of those names that I've known, day sleeper dot for so many years and, her and her husband, Billy Bickle, just great people. I've always enjoyed hanging out with them. We hung out back in the day at MHQ bash.
Craig (04:16.987)
yeah, yes, because there's a lot, there's a lot.
Yeah.
Craig (04:32.974)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (04:39.563)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (04:40.644)
year after year after year, they would come down to McKinney. So great to hang out with them in Uranus. However, who knows? I hope it isn't too much longer before I see all of that group, the Missouri, the Kansas, the Arkansas players. It was great to see everyone.
Craig (04:48.43)
Did-
Craig (04:53.186)
Yes.
Exactly. was, did you say Billy pickle? Did you have a pickle in Uranus? No? Anyway. Yes, this is true. This is true. And we even had a wiener in Uranus as well, Rob too. That was delicious. The, the hot dog was not, was pretty good too. So, exactly. Exactly. I think we are, but one more thing I did, I've got to mention it because there's another new video. was talking about videos, two seconds ago.
Rob (04:58.844)
No, no, I didn't I didn't have some ice cream in Uranus, but I didn't have a pickle
Rob (05:07.566)
we did.
chili cheese hot dog and some ice cream in Uranus. Are we done with Uranus jokes yet? Okay.
Craig (05:21.966)
another new video from Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy. Yes, he's put out a new video about Munzee as well on his YouTube channel. So make sure you go and watch his also. So that's it for Uranus talk, Rob. I hope you had a good time. I know I did and I know all the players did as well. And again, thanks to a big shout out to all the hosts of those events across there. Rob, I will say this as well.
Rob (05:26.314)
nice.
Craig (05:47.598)
Don't be scared of hosting events. I've seen on the water cooler, there's a piece from the local chat recently in regards to hosting events. Some people didn't realize that, you know, it's, it's very cheap to actually host an event. You can actually host your event for free if you wish to, you know what I mean? So it's just, if you don't want all the perks, then it's, it's, free to host. So don't be scared of hosting local events for yourself and for your local players. And who knows, Rob, you may just, you may just actually attract some other local players.
I
Rob (06:26.342)
Hmm.
Craig (06:46.434)
Are you okay? Is everything okay? You're going from, you know, it's suspicious. And they were very open, Rob. They said like, you know, yes, it's, it's, we're playing a game called Munzee. This is what it is. And they showed them one of the officers actually downloaded the app and scanned their referral code on the spot. And he started capping as well. So, there you go. Those things can happen. Those things. I was very impressed by that. Very impressed. So, currently Rob, I'm in Mingo at the moment, or Colby, I should say, in Kansas.
Rob (07:04.975)
impressive.
Rob (07:09.028)
Yep. Very cool.
Craig (07:16.526)
I've made it all the way to Colby for Mingo Madness. It's a geocaching event itself, but there are co-existers here and there's already cards popping up everywhere too. And I love it Rob because they're all those, the SMS squad cards for some reason. I don't know why. We'll talk about that. We'll talk about that as well very, very soon, mate. So in the meantime, events over the last weekend, we had Arizona, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and foreign Uranus as well. In the world, Rob, we had.
Rob (07:28.764)
I wonder.
Rob (07:41.934)
Ontario, Canada, Finland, Netherlands, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, and then New South Wales and Victoria, Australia.
Craig (07:50.478)
Oh, I love that. We had so many around the world, Rob. That looks really, really cool. We had some good leaderboards over the weekend. Now, Friday was the first one. In Friday, it was the second of the month, so there's no Clan War points, but some people still went at it, Rob, too, which is good. In first place, the Geocaching Vlogger. That's the second time I've said his name in this podcast, with 464,000 points. In second place, we had Zaggyo with 311,000.
Rob (08:09.404)
Wow.
Craig (08:15.95)
And in third place, 22, Q 17 with 227,000 points. Do you want to do the Saturday Rob? There's lots of millionaires, 16 in total, 16 millionaires in total. Go ahead, it's all on you, all on you.
Rob (08:25.585)
Sure.
Yeah, why not? Here we go. Cole Cracker 7 took the win with one point nine million. Tofu Girl one point seven million. W. Helen one point six million. That's the top three. And the other 13 millionaires. Here they come. Monzi Prof. Lush family. Bazfam. Tony 58. Hog. Casey Pride. Turtle. Geocaching vlogger. I am Dina. Brawny Bear.
NYI Sutter, Q 22, Q 17 and Monroe's. Wow.
Craig (09:03.64)
No, good job to all those players. And I could say pretty much all of those were at the events in Missouri, Rob. So every one of them, yeah, every single one of them. Exactly. And I will, I will give a shout out to Tony 58 here. One of a fan of the SMS squad, Tony 58. He's a proud member of the SMS squad, Rob too. So he came up to me.
Rob (09:11.553)
Every every one of them looking at their names. That's a that's a that's a Missouri leaderboard.
Rob (09:28.187)
Boo!
Craig (09:29.702)
A few people, brand new people as well. hadn't scanned my staff badge either. So they scanned that, got a new badge for themselves too. yeah, lots of, lots of fun and good shout out to all those. Yes, Rob. What? Yeah.
Rob (09:40.23)
Guess what? You gave a shout out. Brawny Bear. Brawny Bear gets a shout out from me because he runs Friendship Brewing Company. All right. Which I believe it's in St. I think it's in St. Charles, Missouri. Apologies if that's the wrong city. But it's in Missouri. Brawny Bear. Friendship Brewing Company. He brought me some beers. I was nice and I shared them with the SMS squad. You and Geocaching Vlogger. So yeah, we had some
Craig (09:49.07)
that's right, that's right, that's right.
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (10:02.296)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Rob (10:09.756)
great beers. actually got a few that I was able to bring home because one of them is called Lucky Lou. so yeah, needed to bring that home to show Lou and enjoy one with her and a couple for brother and her dad. So anyway, thank you, Bronnie Bear. It was really great seeing him just in case he listens to this.
Craig (10:13.332)
Mm. Yes.
Craig (10:27.606)
Exactly. also as well, Bronny Bear just listened very carefully, mate. And that is we did stop. had to stop before I put Rob back on the plane. I had to stop at Straub's and he picked up some more of those lucky lose as well. So yes, that did happen too. On Sunday, the leaderboard looked like this. We had a GeoMatrix on one million, one million points for GeoMatrix, a good videographer GeoMatrix as well. He sends in videos every single month to the Munzee Monthly Moments.
Rob (10:37.467)
strobs here.
Craig (10:56.718)
Keep it up Geo Matrix. Good job, mate. We had CJS junk on 580,000 points and Sivantim, Sivantim, Sivantim and 482,000 points. coming up, all the events coming up this weekend, we have Ohio, California, New Mexico, around the world.
Rob (11:15.366)
Quebec, Canada, got one in UK, Holland and Germany.
Craig (11:20.302)
Now big events coming up with no more talk about the ones in Missouri. That's all finished and done. Now you can listen calmly and carefully and, uh, and your kids can listen as well. So I will say, Rob, all that talk about it though, it does, that does go over the kids' heads. It really does. They don't understand it too much. So it's good. Uh, May 24th is Munstock 52 will attends already. So already it looks like it's going to be mega, mega event. So May 24th Munstock.
Rob (11:25.776)
Yes.
Rob (11:37.468)
think so.
Craig (11:48.458)
I'm going to be there. Rob's going to be there. Joshua, the GK is going to be there. All the big players are going to be there. Almost the whole, the whole top 10 leaderboard is going to be there as well. Rob. So that's going to be fun to see. of leaderboards, what happened over the weekend? Did you see what happened over the weekend? The, the number fourth player in the world being Munsey Prof flipped into number three.
Rob (11:54.62)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (11:58.844)
would be good.
Rob (12:06.918)
no I did not.
Rob (12:13.262)
Hmm climbing
Craig (12:13.898)
Yes, yes, yes, that happened over the weekend. Yes, exactly. So he's climbing the leaderboard as well. So good job to you Munzee Prof. June 7th and 8th, we have Ohio hosting SOS the same weekend. We have five events on the South Coast of England and you'll be there for that. Yes.
Rob (12:30.406)
I'm just now officially announcing that today that I will be at I'm going to be at the the events only on Saturday on the south coast of England for June 7th. everybody that is within flying distance or train or travel like get there it's going to be big events. There's going to be tons of points. We all know that the south coast of England is completely covered with Munzees. We'll see the cards. We know it'll happen.
Craig (12:34.542)
Pop?
Craig (12:40.014)
Mm-hmm. Yep.
Craig (12:47.776)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (12:51.576)
That's good.
Craig (12:56.642)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (12:59.044)
I've got a signals coming into my head. I feel like there might be something related to double points that pops up for that weekend. I don't know why, but I'm feeling it right now. It's the beginning of glam wars. Who knows? We'll see.
Craig (13:02.914)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (13:10.645)
Oh, oh, who knows, who knows? That same weekend in Ohio, I'm actually being the one going to the ones in Ohio. let's, Rob, let's see you versus me on those weekends. I know that these five events, South Coast, much more time for Munzee in there rather than the Ohio ones, but still, I'm gonna give it a good shot. I'm gonna give it a crack anyway.
July 11th to 13th, we have four events in Western New York, Munzee Marathon. That same weekend, we have five events in the Netherlands. Rob, what do we have? When's Minnesota? When's Minnesota?
Rob (13:41.276)
Minnesota is going to be reviving or carrying on, I suppose, the tradition of Munzee mania at September 12th through 14th. There are four events that cover three days currently at 26. We'll attend. So get your get your stuff in. We've also already got the dates for Munzee Mecca, which is in Florida for twenty twenty six. That's going to be January 16th to 18th. And finally, guess what? The dates were just added to the calendar this week for
Craig (14:03.106)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (14:10.047)
you beat me to it.
Rob (14:11.292)
Munzee madness. 15 years, 15 years. This is the only annual event that's happened every single year. They are in Southern California. The calendar says Orange County, which is the birthplace and the landing spot of Munzee madness. They float around all the parks. That's March 6th and 7th.
Craig (14:13.6)
Yes, in California. 15 years.
Craig (14:25.134)
Mm-hmm. Yes.
Craig (14:33.784)
Mm-hmm.
I was just, I was just getting that, those details up Rob. So you beat me to it, mate. You beat me to it. Nice to see. Yes. Orange County, Orange County it'll be in as well. So Rob, if you're flying into that, which, which airport would you fly into for Orange County?
Rob (14:49.454)
I would recommend to everyone that you avoid the thing that is called Los Angeles international LAX. It is nightmare fuel. However, if you're flying internationally, that that is the best spot for you to go. Santa Ana airport, it's called John Wayne internet or John Wayne airport. I don't think it's international. That's the best one. It it's within 10 miles. It is in
Craig (14:56.008)
LAX.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (15:04.268)
Yeah. Yep.
Craig (15:10.67)
Yes. No.
Mm-hmm.
Rob (15:18.542)
Orange County, so that is the best place. Yep
Craig (15:19.796)
Exactly. It's perfect. Perfect. Perfect. All right, Rob, that's enough talk for all that sort of stuff because we're 15 minutes in already, mate. We've got to talk about what's come out this week. Firstly, we're to talk again about the Rob versus SMS. You've got the Rob revolution versus SMS squad. Is it revolution though? What is it? Republic. you're going to be a revolution because you just go around in circles, mate. I'll just say that. The new mechs came out. We have Pawnstar at the moment. We have Nightmare. We have Bishchop and Rookstar as well.
Rob (15:35.97)
Republic. Yeah. Yeah.
Rob (15:42.289)
Hmm.
Craig (15:49.742)
Don't forget, can grab, only grab one of these in the store itself and you'll be on a team. It is two different colors. So there's red for SMS squad and there's green, red. What does that? I always say red. What does that red for? I see that as well. Blue, blue, there's blue and I'm seeing blue. I'm saying the word red. There's something wrong with my brain. Blue, blue, blue for SMS squad and green for Rob. We have, and each of those.
Rob (16:01.776)
You said that yesterday too in our meeting. Yeah, blue.
Rob (16:17.766)
Green for go green for go go for Rob. Yes, exactly. The let me tell you a little bit about the COG cost on those. These are the lowest COG rebuild cost that is out there. The only way for you to get these is through the pack that is available right now. This is also during the double COG event. So our double deploy event. So by using COGs to rebuild,
Craig (16:19.443)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Yes. Yes.
Craig (16:31.778)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:36.163)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:41.166)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (16:46.78)
you're actually able to rebuild two at the same time for the cost of one. So we're talking three cogs to get a pawn star or a nightmare, and that will put two of them out there. Now, I've noticed that in the Rob versus SMS battle, a lot of those were deployed. So the score has come much closer.
Craig (16:50.701)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:00.366)
Two for one.
Rob (17:11.68)
And I noticed that maybe that's some part of it. So anyway, everyone take advantage of that. The only way to get these. this is where we're launching them. of the, yeah, where they're available is through the online store. So check them out.
Craig (17:11.755)
Yes.
Craig (17:27.062)
Exactly. Check them out. Meanwhile, will quickly go back to that in terms of the, point score Rob as well, because some people, um, this, this whole, this whole Rob versus SMS, uh, came through, et cetera, because of me chasing you. And for those people who are still want to see the original chase, it's still happening. It is still carrying on Rob at the moment. As we record this, you're on 88.7 million. I'm on 82.7 million. So that's 6 million difference.
So that means I've gained 300,000 on you from last week. So that's been updated. And if I keep up this rate, Rob, five months, five months, I'll catch you. If I keep up this rate.
Rob (17:59.9)
Somehow I think it's going to take less than that, but it depends on if I'm able to keep pace with you on event attendance and travel because while I'm home, much more difficult to get the number of points that you get also whenever I travel because we know that I'll be traveling to France with Lou and her team for the women's Tour de France. There's not a lot of Munsies over there, so I'm going to have to get a little more creative to stay ahead. Anyway, yeah.
Craig (18:04.174)
Hahaha
Mm-hmm. Exactly.
Craig (18:14.702)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (18:19.912)
Yes... Mm-hmm.
Craig (18:26.124)
Yes, yes, yes. Meanwhile, Rob, we did see the, if you're having a look at the actual Rob versus SMS Squad on Cuppa Z because that is a, it looks great, Rob. It does, Sam, Sam, I you listen. Big shout out, mate. I love the look of this as well. I'm not a big fan of the retro. I just like the standard. It's easier to read on the standard. I'm not a retro man. You're a retro man. Yeah. Exactly, exactly.
Rob (18:39.761)
does.
Rob (18:49.126)
Where I'm, I'm a retro man, like play all the old arcade games, still love to do that. All that stuff is really great. So yeah, I'm, arcade mode.
Craig (18:57.678)
See again Rob, that's another difference between you and I. This is why it works so well. It works so well. I look at it in a standard, you look at it retro, you know. Some people reached out to me, Rob, and said, oh Craig, there's a bit of a discrepancy because there's so many hundreds of thousands of flat Robs out in the wild that people are capping everywhere. And you can see the discrepancy on there as well. But Rob, something's come up now this week. There is a flat Aussie scatter event. Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo.
Rob (19:23.837)
Hey!
Craig (19:24.302)
yes, yes, brand new. Never been done before, the flat Aussie scatters. All the other flats have been scattered before. So Rob, tell us more about this flat Aussie scatter event.
Rob (19:34.522)
Well, let's see what's going on is there's the usual buy to get one free event that happens in the store. So don't forget if you're buying this, then it's multiples of three. If you put three in your cart, you'll see that one of those is discounted to being free. If you want six, then you get two free and so on. Multiples like that. When you cap a flat Aussie, then it sends out scatters.
Craig (19:41.006)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (20:01.528)
you go and capture those scatters. And if you do that, then there are certain number that you have to cap. And the numbers are written in the blog for everyone to see, because if we say the wrong number, we get a message from Sam. So two badges, there's two badges. I saw the art yesterday. Wow.
Craig (20:11.084)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (20:18.178)
Yep. Yes, I know. I know. I've been, I've been in talks with, with Andy and Dylan as well. The three of us have been sat down, knuckled down. And I really, I'm really proud of the art for this too, Rob. So yes, yes, yes. You need, you need you. listen, if you're listening, I'm talking to you. You need this badge on your profile. That's what I'll say because it looks so cool. So cool. Yes. You.
Rob (20:25.262)
you have.
Rob (20:32.252)
They're great.
Rob (20:40.284)
Whoever's ears this is hitting you need it. Yeah.
Craig (20:44.948)
You the listener the one listener that listens exactly and not Sam Sam's not Sam's a he's a staff not just a listener He does he does now I would say this as well as with other scatter events like the flat rob scatters the flat loose gathers Etc, etc. If you're in a clan, why not rob? Why not you all do deploy for each other around because you can't cap your own scatter
Rob (20:47.596)
Ha ha.
He needs the badge too and he has to earn it.
Craig (21:07.692)
So deploy for each other around and, and that way then you can get the scatters and, and everything else as well and go from there. So that's really, really cool. So that's the Aussie flat scatter event, Rob. Moving on now, because we've got some more much coming out in the, in the, in the store, in the online store, when's this much coming out? think it's coming out before or after this podcast, maybe after.
Rob (21:25.286)
Yes.
Rob (21:28.804)
Well, that's going to be the trick, isn't it? We're working out some final details. But when there have been big Geo Woodstock events on the geocaching side, we like to go alongside those. And I'm a geocacher, have been for, I think it's 18 years now. No, no, no, it's more than that. It's 22 years. 22 years. It's been around for 25.
Craig (21:42.005)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (21:56.494)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (21:57.544)
The I go to those events. I enjoy it. You know, last year we had a really great time. A lot of real positive things came from that with people seeing Munzee and and like, hey, I used to play that or whatever. So this year we've kicked around the idea of bringing back sort of a package which we did this two times in the past. We did it when Geo Woodstock came to
Craig (22:06.51)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:19.864)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (22:26.102)
Dallas Fort Worth area. We got our whole team together and players who joined us had t shirts as well. Then back in Cincinnati, the very first giga Woodstock with 5000 plus attendees is how the numbers work out. Well, the same numbers are expected this time in Morgantown, West Virginia. So we're putting together a package so that any Munzee players that join us have the ability to get a t shirt.
Craig (22:27.767)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:33.091)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:40.151)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:54.83)
Mmm.
Rob (22:54.87)
and kind of become a walking advertisement. The thought is that it revolves around the idea that we heard a lot last year. I played that game. I remember that there weren't things around me. So what we want to do is we want to encourage these geocachers to take another look at Munzee. You know, it's not the game that they knew.
Craig (22:59.149)
Yes.
Craig (23:09.453)
Yeah.
Craig (23:16.108)
Yeah. Nah.
Rob (23:17.884)
It is completely different. If they played three years ago, it's different than that. If they played 10 years ago, it's definitely different than that. so anyway, just give us a fresh look is the thought there's going to be additional items that come in that package and we are working out the final details. So if you're listening to this and you are shocked by this information, that's because we haven't launched the product yet, but it is going to come.
Craig (23:22.934)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (23:32.642)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (23:40.75)
It's coming, it's coming early, early, early. Exactly.
Rob (23:42.158)
Early next week. Okay, because yeah, we need to get in some pre orders for t shirts and this is assuming that we can get t shirts created if we can't, then the package is going to be slightly different, obviously, but we're gonna we're gonna do something. All right.
Craig (23:47.331)
Yes.
Craig (23:51.234)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (23:54.926)
Yeah. And there won't be these packages, Rob, they're not going to be shipped either. They're pickup only at the, Morgantown West Virginia. So this is a pickup only because they're to be a rush order through for the shirts. We going through, we were going with a local print company in Morgantown West Virginia. So we're supporting local businesses as well. So as you will be to, um, Ro, I will say as well that there'll be almost zero money made at all from this. is purely for purely zero, purely zero. What am I saying?
purely for the players and to advertise Munzee itself. That's pretty much to get more players involved.
Rob (24:29.146)
That's the goal we want to write. We want to give everyone an opportunity to grow. These players go back to their own hometowns all over the world and hopefully help grow the map, grow the game. And so be sure you've got referral cards on you. It's going to be important if the players are old players, then you may miss out on that. But if you get new players involved, then get that referral card.
Craig (24:36.141)
Yes.
Yes.
Craig (24:43.566)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (24:47.435)
Yes, yes.
Craig (24:55.084)
You never know. You never, and I will say, I've said it before, Rob, you never know how many, how many caps those older players, when I say older, as in the original, when they've downloaded the original, a friend of mine, Rob, he got reinvigorated into Munzee as well. And that's where Tim, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, underhanded me with his referral card. And I assumed that he'd capped more than 10, my friend, but guess what? He hadn't. So now my friend is Tim's referral and I'm still dirty. I'm still dirty, Rob.
Rob (25:22.372)
You've you've you've got to be prepared. You have to be prepared to have that code out ready to show people wherever you may be. Yep.
Craig (25:24.462)
And Tim is, yes. Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. Rob, anything else happening in or in around the universe? Anything else happening in the universe?
Rob (25:36.962)
man, it's a big universe. That's the that's what I've got to say in order to wrap this part up and to get out there.
Craig (25:40.888)
Yeah
Craig (25:45.26)
Because there's more than one universe we're talking about. We're talking about universals, like it's plural. Anyway, we're going to move on from that as well. It's a plural universe.
Rob (25:51.292)
Rob's SMS is get involved in the competition everyone choose choose the right side.
Craig (25:57.454)
Choose wisely SMS squad for the win. All right, Rob, we're gonna move on to the question of the week. And this came from the water cooler as well. saw it says, I now have SMS on my player profile. What does this mean?
Rob (26:13.98)
well, the people who have SMS or R.O.B. on their profile as a title, they should know what it means because they made a purchase in order to get that. That means that they chose the SMS squadron MechPak, the chess MechPak or the Rob Republic chess MechPak. So they will have that title, that title.
Craig (26:18.947)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (26:31.469)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (26:38.2)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (26:41.392)
You know, it's mainly just there as a badge of honor, I suppose, to show who you support. Some people have both titles. That's great. Some people have chosen one way or the other, and that is also fine. I will be nice, even though I can easily track every single name that has either of these. Yes.
Craig (26:45.186)
Honor. Exactly.
Craig (27:00.814)
As can I, as can I. I found one, I've found one Rob already that I thought, cause this person was on my friends list. And I looked and they've got Rob on their profile. anyway, he, he knows who he is. I'm I'm only joking, honestly. Honestly, it doesn't matter. Just get involved. It's also the Rob having these tags as well. Also.
Rob (27:13.155)
yes.
Rob (27:17.818)
Wow. Impressed.
Craig (27:27.296)
allows Munzee later on in the month when it's all finished as well to hand out some some nice prizes to the to the winning team possibly which is ssms squad so just saying so get your sms badge now
Rob (27:34.524)
Prizes to the victor isn't that right?
Well, you're as of the moment of recording, you are much closer than you were yesterday. That's what I can say. So we'll see what's happening when this goes live.
Craig (27:46.456)
Correct. Correct. But, but I'm still, but I'm still very much below. I'm still the underdog. you know, if people out there as well, if you want to, if you want to help, help out an Aussie in need, an Aussie pandera. No, I'm for the people. I'm player first Rob, always player first. There we go. There we go. But that's what that badge is all about. So that answers that question of the week. Meanwhile, Rob, we have a request of, this request came from the events in Missouri as well. It's from Baz, Baz Fum, Baz Fum?
Rob (27:57.518)
A panderer. Help out a panderer.
Rob (28:15.484)
as from you.
Craig (28:16.354)
Bazfam, Bazfam, he asked about skin switching Rob, like randomize the skins on bounces. What do you think about that?
Rob (28:25.052)
This is what happens when I go to events and I see players that I haven't for seven or eight years. It turns out they're collecting these ideas. And for some reason, they don't send them into the podcast. They don't send them to you. They just wait until they see me. And then they're like, Hey, by the way, what do you think of like the old unicorn, you know, having an automatic rotation or a randomizer of which skin is applied after it gets capped? And I was like, wow, that's a fantastic idea. And we've never thought of that.
Craig (28:27.319)
Yeah
Mm-hmm.
Craig (28:37.228)
They wait.
Craig (28:43.182)
Hmm. Yeah.
Craig (28:49.742)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (28:54.743)
No.
Rob (28:55.228)
And you know, that's the kind of thing where it could be, like a choice so that you click random, you know? and that's a great idea. That's when I play Fortnite, I have my skins on random so that I don't have to choose which one's my favorite. let the game choose for me, like, Ooh, who am I going to be this game? it makes perfect sense. Love the idea. Thank you for suggesting it. This is not going to happen today, but.
Craig (29:00.311)
Yes.
Yes.
Craig (29:09.582)
Craig (29:15.086)
It does.
Rob (29:25.134)
it will go on the short list and at the event I said, that's a really great idea. Please go share that with C. My. Shell because he is my note taker. And guess what? We're talking about it now. And that means that Sam is hearing it at this exact moment. And that means it's likely to jump into the rotation. Thank you, Sam, for your service. Thank you, C. My. Shell for your service. Thank you, Bazfum, for your idea. Let's make it happen.
Craig (29:26.777)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (29:32.504)
Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Craig (29:40.736)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (29:50.722)
Perfect. All right, Rob, moving on to the tip of the week. And this tip is just to literally support your favorite team. That means get your SMS squad flats, cards, mechs, et cetera out and cap, cap, cap, cap, cap. And also, this is a shout out to my squad as well. Thank you so much for deploying your cards and flats around me as well. You see where I am almost every single night. I am going to be this location for this weekend itself.
But if you really want to rub some salt into the wound, don't forget, you can see exactly where Rob is. So place some SMS cards or some Aussie flats around Rob as well. We really do appreciate it, don't you Rob?
Rob (30:25.776)
Rude. See how I just sit quietly while you slam me because the Republic doesn't have to worry about the flea. That's all. A tiny little squadron that's out there buzzing around in the universe. And I'm like, yeah, well, I'm just shooting lasers and down you go.
Craig (30:40.43)
Did you call?
Craig (30:44.152)
Did you call, did you call all my, friends just fleas and just.
Rob (30:48.406)
I didn't mean fleas, meant squadrons. I meant squadrons of flies.
Craig (30:52.118)
squadrons but you said you call them all just tiny you've got tiny little flies and fleas see see Rob I don't have to say anything either to get more people on my team I'm Australian I'm Australian
Rob (30:57.552)
Hahaha.
come now you have said so many words you have to say nothing. my goodness. before we finish flat Aussie scatters. I got to say this Aussie Aussie Aussie. There you go. That's what I got to say.
Craig (31:12.01)
Mm-hmm. Yes. Mm-hmm. Oi, oi, oi. There we go, exactly. And if people didn't understand either, it is on May the 8th, which is like May 8th. May 8th, May 8th. So there we go. That's the reason for the date. We did, we did. Exactly. But some people didn't understand it. So anyway, Rob, that ends an official Munzee podcast.
Rob (31:27.825)
Hey mate! We handed out it a couple of weeks ago when you were talking and I was like, mate! Yeah, anyway.
Rob (31:42.364)
