Craig (00:00.078)
Welcome to the Official Munzee Podcast.

Rob (00:04.616)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.

Craig (00:08.435)
And I'm Craig, also known as Seemyshell, I started as an avid Munzee player, now proudly part of the team.

Rob (00:14.142)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.

Craig (00:20.962)
So sit back, relax. Today's episode, it's a bit of a mixed bag, Roberto. It's a big of a mixed bag, mate. We're talking about the big events that we had last weekend. We're talking about other things that are coming up as well. We're talking things like clan wars, which as we record this, you haven't even started yet, Rob. What? What? Wow.

Rob (00:37.206)
Hey that bus that bus is really really heavy on my back. man that was ouch I Don't know that was at least four tires that went over me nice one. yeah, I mean that it that is the truth We are sitting here. We're recording I Have like seven hours and 20 minutes until they go live. So that's plenty of time. Yeah, I'll be fine I've thought about it for

Craig (00:49.822)
Mm-hmm. Yeah. You like that? You like that?

Mm-hmm.

Craig (01:00.814)
Plenty of time he says, plenty of time.

Rob (01:06.23)
30 days, I just have to push the buttons and you know, yeah. So there you go.

Craig (01:07.586)
Mm-hmm.

Push the buttons, push the buttons, push the buttons. That's fair enough, mate. That's fair enough. What have you, apart from the weekend, we'll get to that in a minute. What else have been up to, mate? What have you, you back home now? You back in the good old land of the, what you call it? Not the free, because it's England.

Rob (01:18.832)
yep.

Rob (01:26.934)
I have no comment. Definitely freedom here. Plenty of it, honestly. Yes, back in the land, currently the land of sheep because I am in Wales. Yeah, gone to visit the in-laws and mother-in-law's birthday. So happy birthday, Leslie. Woohoo. Yeah, so come here to celebrate and yeah, traveled home just trying to readjust my head so that it's on the right time zone. That always takes

Craig (01:38.766)
Oh, oh, wow. Nice, nice.

Craig (01:52.269)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (01:56.374)
Well, it takes more days now than it used to back years ago. Yeah.

Craig (02:00.162)
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I'm, I'm very, I'm very sad, Rob. I'm very sad. We had a huge weekend last weekend and yeah, big shout out to everyone who attended. Shout out to everyone who placed cards and stuff as well for everyone to have fun with. But I was that busy, that busy Rob that I forgot to deploy something on the Saturday and lost my deploy streak. Rob.

Rob (02:05.012)
Yeah?

Rob (02:18.931)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (02:24.96)
Haha.

Rob (02:29.492)
Yeah, it's a sad day, it? I gave up on the deploy streak a long time ago. I will run 30 to 90 days at a time and then it's like, I forgot. I did the same thing. There were two days.

Craig (02:30.208)
Rob.

Craig (02:35.903)
Wow.

Craig (02:43.704)
I was, I was over three years, three years. was over three years. know I had my deploy and, and capture were in line with one another. So Rob, that leads to my first question of the week. that is, Mulligans for deploys. There's no chance they're ever happening. You know, I've seen them in the water cooler a couple of times in regards to that question, but now it's happened to me personally. I'm really wanting it.

Rob (02:53.814)
Yeah.

Rob (03:08.852)
Yeah, that sounded like a personal question, but when I hear it, it sounds more like a personal problem. So, too bad for you. That is how it goes. Now you understand why so many people are like, please, please. Can we have a deploy Mulligan? And you see, there has to be something in the game that you have to actually work for the capture. Mulligan is like, okay, you forgot, but the deploy Mulligan.

Craig (03:16.915)
huh, huh, huh.

Craig (03:23.074)
Yeah, I'll do it. Yeah.

Craig (03:31.338)
Yeah. Yeah.

Craig (03:38.498)
see, I see the capture mulligan as well, Rob, because the capture mulligan is not just for one day, you can have one day, you have a seven days and I think there's, I can't even remember the others as well, 14 days. So what that allows you to do as a player as well, it allows you to take that cruise and not worry too much about, know, you can still cap your stars, but these mulligans coming years ago, Rob, before the cap in, before the stars, where people used to lose their capping streaks on the regular basis for cruise lines.

Rob (03:38.504)
It's, it's just so tricky, you know?

Rob (03:47.638)
14, yeah.

Rob (04:08.309)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (04:08.556)
You know that you sapping all the time. People go for cruises for two weeks at a time. Not a problem. And so I can see the reason why the capture, but if you're on a cruise, you can still deploy every single day. So you don't have to even leave the house in order to deploy. So I can understand if that's the reasoning behind the, the no mulligans for the deploy streaks, but I will say Rob and everyone listening out there as well, all you players out there who have lost a deploy streak at any point in time, I feel for you.

Rob (04:18.451)
Absolutely.

Craig (04:37.802)
I really do from the bottom. I never did before because it never happened to me. I'll be honest with you. had, I had a little bit of empathy, but that was about it. But now I have sympathy. There's a very big difference. I'm like, no. Being there, done that, need a t-shirt. Maybe we need a t-shirt. Maybe we need a t-shirt.

Rob (04:41.686)
Ha ha ha!

Rob (04:46.854)
You... You... Yeah. Experience.

You t-shirt. I broke my deploy streak and then maybe on the back it says, can I please have a mulligan? And then you can have flat Rob at the bottom saying, Nope.

Craig (05:00.878)
have a mulligan. No, I like it. like it. All right, Rob, apart from that, let's get on to the main things at hand now. And the main thing is that I am, I'm slowly, slowly creeping up on you in regards to the overall number one staff member in terms of points at the moment, Rob, you're 94.1 million points and I'm 89.9 million points. That means I'm only 4.2.

million behind Rob, 4.2 million behind that's all. I gained Rob 700,000 points in the last week and you were with me for most of it. How did that happen? How did that happen? How did that happen?

Rob (05:42.399)
Mm-hmm.

Well, I think that it has to be the travel before and you have been on the road since we parted ways and well, I have not. And when I am stationary and I'm not attending events, my, my, it, takes quite a bit more effort on my part to make it happen. And you know what? I, I have chilled out for the last couple of days. So yeah.

Craig (05:53.89)
Mm hmm. True.

Craig (06:01.87)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (06:08.299)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (06:13.342)
Ooh, and I've noticed as well, because that's another, I've got some tips coming up Rob during this episode. Quite a few tips, so listen up very carefully everyone out there because I learnt a few things. Yes, yes, I, Craig, learnt things from Rob over the weekend too. So things Rob didn't even want me to learn, I learnt from him. But anyway, overall Rob, the Rob versus SMS, the official green versus blue that's still ongoing for the next few days until the end of the month.

Rob (06:25.662)
Hehehehehe

Yep.

Rob (06:32.31)
True.

Craig (06:41.282)
We're currently as of today, as we're speaking, we're currently, Rob is 1.255 million points and SMS 1.287 million points. so they're 32,000 points difference for team SMS. So keep it going. Players out there, keep your deploys going, keep your captures going, even rebuild as well. And if you haven't got your team yet, because there is going to be a winning team gets prizes, winning teams get prizes.

Rob (07:08.511)
Easy.

Craig (07:09.866)
It's still available in the store. Am I wrong in regards to the still available in the store or the, or the.

Rob (07:14.204)
still available will be available through, well, I guess the day this podcast goes live. Excuse me. So, so yeah, you can still get that stuff. So you can join.

Craig (07:18.68)
till the end of the month. Yeah.

Craig (07:24.436)
Mm-hmm. Yep. Join up team SMS or team Rob, you tell us or both. Both.

Rob (07:31.71)
Yes, both is possible. Here's the thing. I have a feeling that my team will get a consolation prize as well, just to, you know, just throw it out there for you. Here's what happened. I really thought, what? I don't know what you're talking about. No, I would never, I would never, what? No, no, you'll have to listen back to this and see if that happens.

Craig (07:41.038)
Aww.

Mm-hmm. Did you say my team will get a consolation prize? You've already, you've just admitted defeat. You just admitted defeat. Yeah, you did. Yeah, you did. Yeah, you did. Yeah, you did. See, jump on Team SMS. Jump on Team SMS because Rob's a sinking ship.

Rob (07:58.902)
Hey, um, so I looked at my weekly email, right? The weekly stat email that comes through, comes through on a Wednesday. Um, got mine looked at it, uh, from last week, which, you know, that was all the geo Woodstock play. Um, I captured 600 more SMS cards than Rob cards. That is crazy. 600 more.

Craig (08:05.442)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (08:14.274)
Yeah.

Craig (08:22.082)
No.

Rob (08:27.728)
SMS cards than Rob cards. It's not possible. And I knew watching what was happening and every time I knew where the pockets of Rob cards were. So it was like, you got them the day before I did. So I was going, okay. Once I once I get them and then the Emeralds and all that kind of stuff, I'll start to see a change. And we watched the leaderboard and I never could Rob team never got less than 20,000 point difference. And

Craig (08:37.614)
You

Craig (08:43.982)
you

Yeah.

Rob (08:57.874)
You've got a special player, you know that, that well, one in particular that really kept flooding the map. We watched the cards just floating up and down the river while we're sitting and they would just, as you refreshed more SMS cards were showing up with a little blue square on them. yeah. Yeah. There's your, that's definitely a mention that's worthwhile.

Craig (09:01.08)
players players

Craig (09:10.668)
you

Craig (09:15.724)
Yeah. Yeah. And dragons West. Thank you very much, mate. I do appreciate that. That's definitely they, they did a really, a whole lot of deploying and all SMS blue cards as well. So I do, I do appreciate that. Yeah. Very much. So

Rob (09:30.294)
Enjoy the lead that I can't seem to bridge. Enjoy it. really, I thought, I thought there was, I thought there was a chance, but yeah.

Craig (09:37.55)
You thought you had a chance to get back, but either way, Rob, next week we'll discuss exactly what went wrong for Team Rob and how they lost. Exactly. Meanwhile, let's Rob, let's move on now. The events over the weekend, of course, in the USA we had Texas, California, Massachusetts, and three in West Virginia and around the world we had.

Rob (09:45.974)
Exactly, yes we will.

Rob (10:03.984)
One in British Columbia, Canada, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Lithuania, and another in Denmark. My goodness. I wrote this last week. I remember now two in Denmark, everyone.

Craig (10:13.228)
Yeah, Denmark's worth mentioning twice. It's okay. All right, you ready for this, Rob? Because we call out all millionaires over the weekend. On Friday, we had 14 millionaires in total, but number one, and as he should be, the big W. Helen in first place with 2.7 million points. In second place, course, always the bridesmaid, never the bride. That's Munzee Prof with 2.6.

Rob (10:17.588)
I guess so.

Rob (10:40.182)
Ha

Craig (10:42.254)
million points. Third place Rob, this surprised me and I'm very proud as well to say, Eagledad and Xenia was 2.5 million points as well. Now others, as I said before, we read out all the millionaires in order, GeocachingVlogger 2.5 million points, MinnesotaBoy, MinnesotaBoy, MinnesotaBoy 2.5 million points. He was said, every time someone called his name, they said it three times, whenever we were there the whole weekend, it was great.

Bizquick 2.3 million points Johnstownboy 2.1 million points What's over there 2 million points MarleyfancyTee 1.8 million points Demick 1.6 million points Raven on the Road 1.5 million points Grubbsnug 1.3 million points Oh one of my favorite players now Dragonswest 1.2 million points and

rounding out the millionaires, DaTruck, a good friend of mine as well, DaTruck with one million, and that's his first ever million points. He got the million points badge. Rob, I'm gonna say that a few of the millionaires over the weekend, it was their first time becoming millionaires too, so big congratulations to all of those first time millionaires. On Saturday, Rob, we had 12 millionaires. You let us know now.

Rob (11:55.211)
Yeah.

Rob (12:01.45)
Yeah. All right. Let's see. First was native in UK with three point three million. Cole Cracker seven three million. Jaffa forty three three million. And then the other millionaires VATOTech with two point six million. I am full two point six. Tofu Girl two. Eagle Dad and Xena one point three. Cash Addict Mel one point one.

Super SRDCS 1.1 Old Man Trouble. That guy, one million. Da Truck, one million. And Dragon's West on there again, my least favorite of all the people in the world. Congratulations. He wasn't even there and he got 1.2 million on Friday and one million on Saturday. That's how many cards he put out people. sorry. Side note, yes.

Craig (12:33.774)
Yes, he was.

Craig (12:52.119)
Yeah.

Exactly. Yeah, that's right. That's right. So well done to them. On Sunday, moving on, we had five millionaires on the Sunday as well. We had the Lanes in first place with 1.8 million points. Tofu Girl on 1.3 million points. VatoTech in third place with 1.3 million points. It's funny, know, Tofu Girl, VatoTech, they're always one for one normally. Maybe they're in the same car. Who knows? Other millionaires is KPR 1000 on 1.2 million points.

And the truck rounds it out with 1.2 million points. Rob, I see that as well. So the truck got his first million, first million points on Friday. He then got his second million points on Saturday and his third million points on Sunday. I think he did that on purpose. I think he wanted a million a day each day of that long weekend too. So a big shout out to all those players out there. As we said before, everyone who deployed a big thank you so much, especially dragons.

And everyone else as well, but Rob I will say and we'll get to this very soon as well when we talk about the wrap-up of the event I did enjoy meeting brand new or longtime players, but brand new to meet them for the finally for the first time ever Which is really really awesome and really cool or around the world this weekend because we have no clan wars we have No events in the USA and we have one in Auckland, New Zealand, so

Rob (14:20.374)
Woohoo!

Craig (14:21.11)
Yes, exactly. And if you're listening from New Zealand as well, it's in the land of what they call Jaffa, Rob. But we'll leave it at that. Anyway, anyway, Rob, the big events are coming up on June 7th and 8th. We have Ohio hosting SOS. I will be there that same weekend, Rob. There's five big events on the South Coast of England. Rob, that's looking huge. That's 55 attendees so far, Willattens. And you'll be at that one too. So again, it's SMS versus Rob. But in saying that, our SMS versus Rob will be over.

Rob (14:27.665)
We will indeed, yeah.

Rob (14:43.134)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (14:51.18)
but me catching you will not be ever over. Just saying. July 11th to 13th, four big events in Western New York with Munzee Marathon. That same weekend, July 11th, 13th, five big events in the Netherlands as well. September 12th to 14th, four events over three days with Munzee Mania Minnesota. I don't know why I say that. January 16th to 18th, Munzee Mecca in Florida. And of course, new on the map is March 6th and 7th. Munzee Madness is back.

Rob (14:55.222)
Yeah.

Craig (15:20.75)
for its 15th year in Southern California, Rob as well in orange County, March 6th to 7th. So get your, get your, you know, airfares in place, get things going as well and make sure you, it out from there, Rob. So meanwhile, meanwhile, let's talk about a wrap up first of the weekend and some tips first. So we're to get out of order. because I'm, I'm in the mood for this, the event stuff first, Rob. What do you think? I like it. like it.

Rob (15:26.11)
Yeah.

Rob (15:35.072)
Do it.

Rob (15:45.812)
Well, I think that we have 14 minutes until everyone stops listening. So sure, start with the good stuff the weekend. I like it.

Craig (15:51.758)
Exactly. Start with the good stuff. As I said, just two seconds ago, and that is I did love meeting the players that putting a face to the name, you people like old man trouble, for instance, as well. And you figure sometimes, Rob, that you do actually place different cards out for different players. You see the players names all the time, capping your cards here and there. know, Rob, I did a, I did a, a competition.

12 months ago, sorry, whatever it was, in regards to POI. So I had a few POIs up my sleeve and I dealt them out. One of the POIs, Rob, I put near Old Man Trouble because he won. And he always puts a photo when he caps that POI. Like once a week or so, he puts a photo on there too. And it's at the Chinatown there in Minnesota somewhere.

And throughout the year, you can see the different times, you know, as the snow falls and the snow melts and then, know what mean? So I like it, I like it. But it's good to put a face to a name with Old Man Trouble. And I will say, Old Man Trouble does not look like his name suggests. I'll say that. He is a young looking fit guy, guitarist type, cool dude. So yeah, yes. No.

Rob (16:53.494)
That is true.

Rob (17:02.56)
That's true. I didn't know who he was. There were so many people at the event that I was, I actually didn't float around and talk to everyone. pretty much just stood in one spot and talked to everyone who came over to me, which everyone doesn't come over to me. So as we were leaving the event, you know, this guy comes over and, whatever picture or something, you talk.

Craig (17:07.406)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (17:11.585)
Yeah.

Craig (17:17.902)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (17:24.204)
you

Rob (17:27.962)
And if I had known that it was old man trouble, I would have just kept on walking. It would have just not even slowed down because he's been part of your team. We'll call them that magically blue cards show up around me at various times where my house or wherever that say funny things like see my shell told me to do this, you know, that kind of stuff. So anyway, old man trouble. actually was nice to meet him. And that

Craig (17:31.971)
Ha!

Craig (17:37.184)
Yes, yes.

Craig (17:44.16)
Craig (17:50.158)
hahahaha

Rob (17:55.914)
This whole joke and competition has been really fun, you know, and, and so I enjoyed, seeing a lot of players that I've seen over the years, seeing them again. And then others that I have known for years, same way online, like for years and years and years and, meeting them for the first time. So it's really cool. Others that, you know, they've played the game for a long time and either came back in or, know, whatever this was their first, chance to like.

Craig (17:58.637)
It has been.

Craig (18:04.67)
Mm-hmm. Mm. Yeah.

Craig (18:15.523)
Yeah.

Craig (18:23.79)
Hmm.

Rob (18:25.844)
They play up in the Northeast US and West Virginia claims to be the middle of everywhere because of population of the US being centered up there. So a lot of players were there. Nice to meet you all. Thanks, like you've said, to the world for deploying all around us. It kept us all very busy, that's for sure.

Craig (18:27.586)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (18:47.427)
Yeah.

It did. It did. And I will say the way it was mapped out, like in around Morgantown itself, I do really enjoy the three different events and their locations and allowed it at good spread. Now, as we all know, because we all, most of us coexist, you know, geocaching and Munzee as well. We spend three days in the location. We don't spend three days in the same location. We don't go to an event and just smash the event. No, no, no. We, during, between the event times as well, we're out geocaching, we're out.

going to breweries, we're out eating, we're traveling. We don't just sit in our Airbnb or in a hotel doing nothing. No, we always out and about. So I do like as well, Rob, how some people went, you know, I can't put a card over that exactly over that, that map area where every single event is, but then they put them on main roads, Rob, as you drive around. So you've always got something to cap all the way around the main roads and even through the main part of town, knowing that yeah, there's other geocaching events there as well. That's people are to be there geocaching as well. So.

You know, that sort of thing too, which is really cool. Speaking of geocaching, I'm going to talk now about, it was nice to see. I'm going to say old players that have got out of the game years and years ago because they didn't like it for whatever reason. Then I now call them rejoinees because all of a sudden they see a group of people and they go, what are you doing? I mean, yes, some people you say the word Munzee and they groan, but others go, I used to play that.

Rob (19:56.384)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (20:11.893)
Hehehe.

Craig (20:13.644)
And those are the players, Rob, that we're talking about when we talk about our shirts, coexist shirts. They're the players that have sort of keen interest to see what's changed, what's new. And to actually have several people, several people download, re-download the app itself, having to struggle to log back in because you go to login now with your email address and then go, what's my password? I can't remember my password from six years ago, seven years ago.

Rob (20:34.134)
me.

Craig (20:40.47)
But then to see them literally become overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that was there. But my main thing was to say, if it's circle, then it's a virtual. If it's a square, you're looking for your QR code. That is the best way to talk to a brand new player. After that, let them go for a while. Don't overwhelm them, Rob. Don't talk.

Rob (21:01.494)
Don't walk them through personals and event pins and cap this and let me tell you about that. And here's a wishing well and yeah. Right. Yeah.

Craig (21:06.254)
Let alone bounces or... Yep. Yep, exactly. and how to get a room in a resort. Yeah, no, none of that sort of stuff. That is way too deep, way too much. And not only that, I find myself, Rob, when I got back into the game too, I actually enjoyed the learning process. I'll be honest with you. You know, when I got back into the game, I didn't know what a tree house was. I didn't know what a skyland was. And so I relied upon my clan members, because I joined a clan.

And I relied upon my clan members to start educating me back three, three and a half years ago. Um, and so those clan members out there, if you're listening, if you, I'm not sure if you remember me or not, but yeah, you taught me the start. And then all of a sudden I picked it up and got the ball and ran with it. But, uh, but yeah, you never know. But no, that's, and that's the joy part of it. Um, at the same time.

Rob (21:49.558)
How could they not remember you? Of course they do. We knew him. We knew him when that's what they say all the time. bet.

Craig (22:03.854)
If they're friends of yours, you know, say to them, look, if you've got any questions, reach out and they will. And Rob, I've had several people reach out. I've been answering questions. They frighten center to the point now where, you know, I've got three players themselves saying, how do I get these red tick dots off my map? go premium only guess what? Boom, premium membership. You know what mean? That sort of thing too. So that's what happens. And, and then my other tip, uh, if you're out there referring people is to attempt attempt.

to get them in some sort of clan, help them, assist them, even if it's a clan by themselves, give them tasks to do, show them the daily zeops and how to get them involved in playing the game every day. And all of sudden, they'll work out the rest. You know what I mean? They will. They will sort out the rest. They'll go, okay, six months from now, I know what resorts are. Six months from now, I know, or three months from now, I know what treehouse is. You know, that sort of thing. But they let them do it themselves.

Rob (22:44.95)
Hmm.

Craig (22:58.804)
And you'll find that once they learn for themselves because they want to learn, they learn better that way than being told. You get told something, Rob, it goes over your head. know, so anyway, that's my, that's my opinion on it. And I did really enjoy, enjoy that a lot. Meanwhile, Rob, I'm going to say this now. There's one thing else I enjoyed thoroughly. So Rob, Rob, you and you and I, we're backseat bandits over this week. In other words, Tim, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy.

Rob (23:07.572)
Yeah. Yeah.

Rob (23:19.206)
Do tell.

Rob (23:28.246)
There was only one of him, but yeah, that guy, yeah. Yeah.

Craig (23:28.334)
He was, yeah, there was only one, but he was driving like there was three. Uh, he was, he was driving the car itself and then Josh, the geocaching blogger, he was in the front passenger seat, navigating to different spots and locations and whatever we wanted to do. And you and Rob, you and I, Rob were in the back seat capping away at our Munsies. And of course, you know, me being me, I've got an eye over your shoulder. This is what happened. Okay. Once you're in a car and this is a good tip for everyone as well. If you're in a car with other Munsy players, keep an eye on.

Rob (23:51.007)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (23:57.806)
them what they're doing, what they're looking at, et cetera as well. I saw Rob, he was, he had his eye like fixed upon this, um, this full scrap star that was coming up and it was full, absolutely full scrap start coming up. And I looked at him and went, okay. And then I looked as well and went, Oh, he hasn't got a capture radio booster on either. Um, no, you actually, did. Sorry. You did. You had to capture radius booster on as well. So I activated mine so I can make sure. And then you were talking, I was talking to you. had one eye on you.

Rob (23:59.382)
He

Craig (24:26.55)
I had one eye on the actual, how many feet we were away. When we were about 15 to 20 feet before we cap it. What did I say, Rob? Rob, look at that out the window and did the distraction technique. You looked up, looked out the window. By that time it clicked over. I pressed capture and I kept it before you.

Rob (24:42.934)
Yeah, you did. I was very happy about that. I remember all the, all the response shortly after that. It was, it was quite a trick and you know, those old jokes that work on people and in different situations. Yeah. Try and use them on your friends. You know, just if you have any of these kinds of friends beware now that they've heard that the trick does work within Munzee as well. Yeah.

Craig (24:57.74)
Yup. Yup.

Yes, yes.

Craig (25:06.606)
And it will say, if you've got a friend like Rob, for instance, it works so much easier on Rob too, because he's like squirrel, squirrel. So I'm like, look at that. So as soon as you say to Rob, someone like Rob, look at that, he'll get a look at that straight away. So yeah, exactly. He's looking around the room now as we speak. that's right. So that's one tip. The other tip I've got there as well. And this I learned from you by watching your play, Rob, and your playing techniques.

Rob (25:18.769)
my squirrel, yeah.

Rob (25:25.258)
Looking now, yeah.

Craig (25:35.874)
And that is Rob, you double tap, you're on the map, you double tap the screen and then the second tap you hold it. You don't take your finger off. So tap once and tap second time and hold in succession. You can then use one finger to slide up or down the screen and it zooms the map in or out. That, that was amazing to me, Rob. I didn't know that actually exists. I had no clue. was like, what are you doing with your magic tools? And you said to me, no.

Rob (25:55.67)
That's amazing.

Craig (26:05.74)
This is how it's done. that's a good tip out there as well. Try it. Try it. Double tap the screen, hold the second tap and then slide the finger up and down and will zoom in and out.

Rob (26:15.136)
So I'm going to blow your mind then with this as well. That's how you use maps on pretty much every app. Apple maps, double tap, zoom up and down to go in and out. Geocaching app, zoom in, zoom out, double tap, it's an Apple feature. I don't know if androids work the same way. you know, forgive us, Androiders, but yeah, this is...

Craig (26:17.761)
Yeah. Yeah.

Craig (26:23.508)
What? What? What? What? You're killing me. You're killing me.

You kill me.

Craig (26:39.04)
Yeah, it's an apple.

But get yourself an apple.

Rob (26:44.286)
This, no, don't say that. This is the way. That's all I know. yeah. So I think that, I think I just learned that or was trained on that in, in the Apple maps. Cause I just opened them to confirm that I remember noticing it in the geocaching app and the, and I was going to say that, but Apple as well. Yeah. So, so yeah. I I'm so glad that I could teach you a few things because, know, this is again where the master has become, no, I stayed the master.

Craig (26:49.218)
Yep. Yep.

Craig (26:55.309)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (27:02.136)
Mm-hmm.

Yep, yep, yep.

Thank you, Rome.

Rob (27:13.888)
That's right. And I always shall be the master and you shall be the student, the student, even, even when you have more points, the student, I'm going to come in second place on this competition, but I'm not ever going to lose first place as a staff member. Good luck with that. Okay. Okay.

Craig (27:16.654)
for another 4 million points, for another 4 million points, for another 4 million points. That's true, that's true, that's true. Rob, a question came out there as well and we'll use this as a question of the week if why not. In regards to the cake credits as well, some people said, you know, was the extra cake credits attached to the Munstock events? And the answer is no. Cake credits themselves,

If you cap a pink pin like an actual event pin, you get 10 credits. So you get 10 credits per event pin. You get one credit per physical event indicator.

Rob (27:52.982)
No, that's the wrong name. Event indicator pin. Yes. Pink event indicator pin is 10 point or 10 cake. Yes.

Craig (28:01.472)
10k yeah that's pink, I said pink pin. Same same.

Rob (28:03.882)
Yeah. But then you said pink event pen or you said pink pen and then you said event pen pink event indicator pen. There you go. I know it's weird. Yeah. Sam's going to message us if we don't say exactly the right words. I know. I know.

Craig (28:12.558)
Okay, 10 points for that. every physical, every, he will. He messaged you last week, he always does. You also get one cake per physical event pin that's around the area that's been placed out by the event host. If there's a badge, if there's a special badge attached to that event, in other words, if the event hosts themselves have added the extra badge, you get 50 cake credits, 50 cake credits if you attend that as well, so that's really cool.

Rob (28:39.446)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (28:42.67)
At the same time, Rob, there's extra cakes credits out there for other badges, such as, you know, if I'm there or if you're there and we've got special badges for that event, then there's extra cake credits on those badges. And this is what I like the most, Rob, and that is there's extra cake credits. If you are a host and the numbers of cake credits depend upon how many players there are. So in other words,

You know, uh, if, if, if there's, think there's nine to 10, I'm going to get this wrong. I didn't write it down. Uh, if there's up to one to nine players, then you get like 10 K credits extra as the hosts themselves all the way up to like 50 extra K credits. there's, you know, over, uh, I think that's mega that's mega status is 50 K cranes, K pins as well. But what I love the most, Robin, that is you don't have to take the weight yourself. And what I mean by that is as event hosts themselves, you can have up to four hosts and all hosts.

Rob (29:12.074)
Yeah.

Rob (29:21.886)
If it goes mega. Yeah.

Craig (29:37.24)
We'll get the same amount of cake credits as well for hosting. So, you know, share the load, Rob. That's what I'm going to say, especially in the upcoming months, when it comes to birthday month as well, you know, share, share the load. and even if, Hey, even if I've just a four of you attend, at least a four of you get to share everything. You know what I mean? So if you're in a, in a Munzee area where there's not many players around, you can still host your own event, you know, and share that load around with your other, know, clan members or family friends, you know, in that area too. So.

Rob (30:06.032)
Absolutely. I think that Friday or early next week is when we're going to be announcing all of our birthday event plans. So stay tuned. It's coming very, very soon. I know that it's being worked out in the background. We've kind of come up with what it's going to be. Artwork is the final piece. yeah, Dylan, as usual, has come up with some amazing ideas.

Craig (30:14.198)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (30:26.924)
Yep, perfect.

Craig (30:31.565)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (30:31.971)
and lose on board. So it's about to happen everybody.

Craig (30:36.032)
I like it. like it. Rob, we're going to round out this episode. We're to talk about the Clan Wars chat. Now this Clan Wars for next month. This Clan Wars for next month, Rob. What's involved? What are we doing? What's happening? I mean, we record this on Wednesday mornings and it is due when? When is the Clan Wars requirements due?

Rob (30:41.224)
this is going to be short then. Yeah, go on.

Rob (30:54.536)
plan requirements. Well, winter they do, I guess they're, they're due about a minute before they go live, which is at 3 PM. on the 28th, it is currently, it is currently on, MHQ time. is eight 10 AM. So that leaves me with six hours and 50 minutes as our recording time. so I've got six hours.

Craig (30:57.858)
For you. For you.

Craig (31:05.794)
which is the 28th.

Craig (31:19.032)
