Craig (00:01.044)
Welcome to the Official Munzee podcast.

Rob (00:03.274)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.

Craig (00:07.027)
And I'm Craig, also known as Seemyshell. I started as an avid Munzee player, now proudly part of the team.

Rob (00:12.32)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.

Craig (00:18.85)
So sit back, relax. Today's episode, we're chatting a few different things, Rob. But more importantly, more importantly, Rob, more importantly, Rob, we're going to discuss the different types of events we went to last weekend. I went to a great, great events in Ohio for the SOS events as well. But you, Rob, you went to the UK events down south, which even enticed, let's be honest, it even enticed the number one and number two

Rob (00:43.831)
Yeah.

Craig (00:48.59)
players in the world to fly from the good old US of A all the way across the ditch to the UK for those specifically for those events.

Rob (00:55.191)
Yes.

Rob (00:59.254)
They flew under the cover of secrecy. To these events. W. Helen, we'll and Bob did put his will attend out there. I believe a couple of days in advance. I knew that he was gonna go. Cole Cracker seven, however, Linda did not do that.

Craig (01:01.92)
Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (01:13.676)
Okay.

Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Rob (01:22.124)
she did not, switch her will attend, until she made it over here, which she landed here on Wednesday and, Bob was flying in on Friday. So that, that gave Linda a couple of days time, you know, to get around, get some stuff capped, you know, because both of them were going to be here.

Craig (01:38.414)
Craig (01:42.638)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (01:46.786)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (01:47.658)
It was going to be difficult for her to make a dent in the lead so that she could, you know, chase down them.

Craig (01:51.21)
Yes, so she come over, she went over early. like it. I like it. Yeah.

Rob (01:55.252)
Yep. You know what was fun about these events? The name. Because the name was Fun in the Sun. And do you know what we did not see on Saturday? The sun. Not even a little bit. It was Misty for the very first events. And a big shout out to Sam. He used to work for Munzee. But while I was walking with Lou from the hotel to the first event,

Craig (02:02.285)
Mm-hmm.

Any son at all.

Craig (02:24.302)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (02:24.54)
we hear this beep, beep, beep, beep, beep coming by behind us and we turn and look and Sam and his dad waving. Hi, wave, wave, drove right on by while I'm walking in the rain. And, you know, when I got to the event, I said for new driver awareness, Sam, when you drive past, you see your boss in quotes, walking in the rain and you're going to the same place you pull over immediately and you.

Craig (02:28.44)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (02:34.51)
the

Rob (02:54.316)
get a ticket or whatever else it takes, but you make sure that that guy gets in the car with you because otherwise he's going to get to the event and he's going to be like, what was that? You left me in the rain.

Craig (03:05.165)
So, Rob, I'm gonna back Sam here a little bit and that is Sam is a young guy, know, and he's got his wits about him as well. And I do believe that he doesn't really know the true Rob. You see, he's thinking to himself in his own mind, he's driving past and he's thinking how romantic Rob is, you know, walking with his lovely wife, Lou, in the beautiful drizzle rain that there is in England. you know, and that's what you're used to over there, let's be honest.

Rob (03:20.812)
Hahaha.

Rob (03:27.928)
Hmm.

Rob (03:31.384)
Yeah.

Craig (03:34.67)
And so he's thinking to himself, I am not going to ruin that romantic, lovely moment between this beautiful couple. So I'm going to keep on driving by. So see Sam, see Sam, I can get you out of these things, mate. can get you out. Yeah. Yeah.

Rob (03:44.929)
You know?

Yeah. Okay. Okay. I'll buy it. I'll buy it. mean, Lou and her pink jacket, me and my green jacket with the QR code on the back. As long as you didn't try and use the excuse, he didn't see you. He was just honking in general. No, no. Yeah. So yeah. Anyway, off to an excellent start. we, we really did have a good time. It was, light rain kind of throughout the day until we made it to the third event and,

Craig (03:59.106)
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (04:13.642)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Rob (04:17.292)
the third event, it started absolutely boring down. was raining cats and dogs literally as we had predicted with our cards. And I think we brought that on the UK. It rained so much that it flooded out the area where the second event had been hosted and lower gardens on the way down to the sea where just like everything was underwater. was crazy.

Craig (04:23.883)
oooo

Mm-hmm.

Craig (04:43.36)
Wow. Wow.

Rob (04:44.29)
So it was good that we had made it to the high grounds for the third event. It started at three. There were about 10 of us that just kind of sat around, kept in the personal book and just having a good time and staying indoors at this lawn bowling club, bowls club, which is not something that Americans are familiar with. Yeah. Yeah. Lawn bowling. No bowls. Yeah.

Craig (04:47.096)
Mm.

Craig (04:57.518)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (05:01.23)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (05:04.683)
The USA have no idea. The rest of the world is like, yeah, you're a bowling club. Yeah. We don't say lawn bowling either. It's a bowling club.

Rob (05:13.76)
It's I have to say Lawn Bowling Club because I know that the people that are listening have no idea what. Yeah. So so so yeah, it was a lot of fun. We had a good time, but we left there at 530. That's when it finally stopped raining and it was raining hard. And there were people out there playing anyway. And what I don't think it was one of our players, but there was a car very near the event that the water was up above the.

Craig (05:18.146)
I have no idea. No idea. Yeah.

Craig (05:28.428)
Ryan yeah yeah yeah

Rob (05:42.494)
wheel well so if the water would have been inside that car like yikes. Yeah.

Craig (05:46.254)
Wow. Oh yeah. Yeah. It happens. It happens. I was going to ask her, and that's the case then Rob, did you just mostly cap virtuals for the day? Because let's, I'll be honest, let's say this right now. After the weekend and as we record this on the Wednesday morning, Rob, you're currently at 99.4 million points. I am at 93.6 million points. That's 5.8 million behind now. However, Rob, I was, come Sunday night, I was 6.4 million behind.

Rob (06:04.438)
Yeah!

Craig (06:15.078)
you, 6.4 million behind you. So I've gained up a little bit back since then, but I'm still, I'm still 5.8 million behind. That means Rob, I lost 200, 200, 2 million points on you, on the, on, on you gained the extra lead over that weekend. yeah. Yeah.

Rob (06:17.014)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (06:30.028)
Yeah, yeah, you did. Yeah, you did. Well, yes, we did cap a lot of the physicals like along the way between the events because Herbie was the main host. Big shout out to Herbie and Brasília and the rest of the co-hosts. But Herbie kind of built the trail so that the first event led to the end of the second event. So if you timed it right.

Craig (06:39.31)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (06:43.491)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (06:55.416)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (06:56.738)
they would pop up and then it would take you to the second event and the same thing from the second to the third. so we kept a lot of those. I, I played in a slightly different way this weekend and, yeah, the way that, the way that it worked out in the rain was quite nice because, there was a big virtual garden that had been built on top of, where we were for event three. So there were lots and lots of scatters, that were landing.

Craig (06:59.511)
Yeah.

Wow.

Craig (07:11.747)
Hmm.

Craig (07:25.202)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And with a double scatter points as well that was happening too. Here's a quick little tip of the week for me, Rob. And that is I was sitting at these events in Ohio as well. And the same thing, yeah, exactly right. The scatters themselves were double points. Now, if you're using a double point virtual booster, so therefore you get four times the points on scatters, not just two. At the same time, if you've got enough of them and you can use the capture radius booster as well,

Rob (07:26.283)
I had a good time.

Craig (07:53.454)
you can get all those scatters to yourself that are between 300 and 600 foot because all the other Munzee players there that aren't using that particular booster, the capture radius booster, are only getting the 300 feet. So you can negate that and have that three to 600 foot radius to your all to yourself. So there's a little tip. That's what I was doing as well.

Rob (08:16.728)
That's an excellent tip. I think that you would like the extension of that tip that would be my official, and now it's time for the tip of the week, which is what I was sitting there doing, which I'm sure you were actually doing this too, using Rover to go just a little bit further and just a little bit further and just a little bit further. I was, well, you saw in the car in West Virginia how I play.

Craig (08:18.552)
Mm.

Craig (08:23.613)
Craig (08:32.052)
Mm-hmm. yes. Yes, yes. Yes. Mm-hmm.

Rob (08:44.054)
with these, I scroll to the bottom of the list and I cap from the bottom up because I know that you and Tim and Josh might have been, you know, trying to get the closest ones. I'm going for the bottom ones because I know nobody else is racing for the bottom. So, I was just, you would use the list for a bit and then I would look at the list and I'd see where I cleared out a little ring and then I'd go outside that ring and just tap and tap and tap.

Craig (08:52.3)
Yeah. Yeah.

Craig (09:03.694)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (09:08.28)
I saw that ring.

Rob (09:13.208)
Craig, I don't know how many rovertreats you went through this weekend, but it's very nice when you and I have no rules to our battle with the exception of like, no, you know, we're not going to take points away and that kind of thing, right?

Craig (09:21.838)
Yeah, can't take points away and or add points on this like without playing the game. We have to play the game. Yeah.

Rob (09:31.0)
Correct. Players would not have been able to do the things that I did this weekend because I used, I used well over 3000 ropher treats this weekend. Yeah. Yeah. I used about a thousand just at that third event for those two hours. Yeah. So, uh, see, I didn't want to message you that because I didn't want you to catch up or play the game my way. You play the game your way. I play the game. Yeah.

Craig (09:34.827)
No.

Craig (09:43.022)
No! Wow, Rob, Rob, Rob! Wow! Wow!

Craig (09:55.712)
Yeah. Yeah, I play the game my way exactly and I'll catch up. I'll catch up in there. It's like the tortoise in the hair. It's okay. I'll get there. I'll get there.

Rob (10:02.86)
I didn't even fully realize it until I looked at the clan standings and I saw for our scatter points that I had over 1 million scatter points on Saturday. I had a filter, the expiring filter, that's the filter that I was using so that's all I could see on my map. I was blasting and then I was just taking out all the scatters. I want to give everybody those cap on points from the scatters that land on their verts.

Craig (10:08.526)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (10:13.096)
Wow. Wow. On Saturday alone, just the one day. Wow.

Craig (10:23.754)
Yeah, that's nice. That's nice.

People don't get cap on points from night vision goggles scatters Rob. They don't get it from air mystery scatters either Rob. you did. How do you do that Rob? How do you ignore those? Or just you physically ignore them in terms of you see them, but you don't cap them. Is that what you're saying?

Rob (10:32.088)
Anyway.

Rob (10:38.004)
No, I ignored most of those. well, a lot of those. I didn't ignore all of them.

Rob (10:48.322)
Do you know which scatter is the most important to focus on?

Craig (10:52.448)
Which one's the electrics? Yeah, I know. Because they're good points. Exactly, they're good points.

Rob (10:54.636)
Hmm, you're correct. But why? The multiplier. Yeah. Herbie and I had a big conversation about that. Herbie has a lot of them. I kept almost 1000 charges. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Yep.

Craig (11:07.188)
Wow, a charger, that's what they're called. call them electric scatters, chargers, whatever you like to call them. That's right, that's right. All right, moving on then to the events during the weekend as well. Three in Ohio, Florida, Missouri, California, Minnesota, Rhode Island, and around the world,

Rob (11:21.25)
British Columbia and Ontario, Canada, had the five mega events in England, Finland, Netherlands, two in Denmark and Japan.

Craig (11:25.538)
Yeah... Yeah...

Craig (11:31.598)
And the leaderboards over the weekend as well. Friday we had first place Toxin with 2.1 million points. In second place we had Finder 400, 825,000 points, so quite a bit behind. And third place we had LI Soft with 678,000 points. On Saturday, we're off.

Rob (11:47.714)
Saturday there were 15 millionaires. Wow. Started off with our number two player in the world. Cole Cracker 7, 2.9 million. She put 300,000 into wheeling W Helen 2.6 million. And then Brazilia, like I said, a cohost of the events, 2.3 million. The other millionaires, Herbie, the main host, 2 million DJ Mitch 25, 1.3 million.

Craig (11:50.958)
Go figure.

Rob (12:16.344)
Gemins 1.2 million finder 400 for the second day in a row 1.2 Oh, no, he was just a millionaire this day my bad 1.2 million toxin for the second day in a row 1.1 million huggle spike 1.1 million bunny 993 Joe 222 s who told me that's how to say her name head stack. I at least I think head stack DJ AJ Bros

Unicorn 55 and Sandy 13 all had 1 million points. So congrats to everyone.

Craig (12:51.086)
I believe Rob that pretty much all of them are going to be UK except Rob. Headstack was here in Ohio and Headstack told me in the morning, she said, I'm going for the million Rob, I'm going for the million. So I was really rooting for her itself as well. yeah, sure enough she did. She has a, I'm going to say,

Rob (12:58.52)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (13:04.716)
Hehehe.

Craig (13:12.782)
Munzee buddy, like her partner, he's a Munzee player as well. Not as, not as Munzee crazy as what she is. So he was sort of driving around and she was one telling him where to go, what to do, how to do it and stuff like that too. yeah, very good shout out to those two. Great couple too, Rob. Great couple. They came down to the events in Ohio and they drove here, stayed overnight as well, you know, and did the whole, the whole, all three, all three events over the weekend too. So yeah, big shout out to Headstack. Good job. And it's her first ever time millionaire too. So she got the badge and everything.

Rob (13:40.246)
Hey.

Craig (13:41.964)
I do say a few of those, Rob, are first time millionaires. Yeah? Yeah?

Rob (13:43.982)
yeah, yeah, quite a few of them. It was great talking to some new players that I hadn't met before that even if they didn't make it all the way to the million, it just had some good conversations and a lot of those people are listening right now, which is cool. So, Hey everybody, sat and had some, well, I didn't have tea because, but, we were at a little cafe before the second, or before the Sunday noon event, sat and, drank a Coke, with some of those people. A lot of fun.

Craig (13:48.256)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (13:57.283)
Mmm.

Craig (14:08.099)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (14:12.91)
Fair enough. Well, on Sunday, Rob, we're to close it out. were six millionaires on Sunday in number one spot as he should be as always the big man himself, W. Helen Whelan on 3.2 million points. Coal Cracker 7 coming up in second place with 3.1 million. So you got, you got, got a hundred thousand back on her. Brazilea at 1.2 million and then the other millionaires talks and rounded out the millionaires for three, three days of millionaires stats for him.

sporty taxi, great names, sporty taxi and Herbie again with another million points. yeah. So in total, in total, what's that Rob? 22 millionaires over the weekend from Friday to Sunday. So that's not bad. That's not bad at all. Especially for it's just, it's very impressive in comparison to, know, somewhere like, what do call it? The, the Joe Woodstock or even when, when Munzee did the double points on everything weekend. Remember that weekend? was huge. That was huge.

Rob (14:51.052)
Yeah, impressive.

Rob (15:04.12)
Yeah. Yep.

Craig (15:06.636)
Meanwhile, Rob, the events coming up this weekend, have Massachusetts, Arizona, and Kansas and around the world, right?

Rob (15:13.022)
Germany and Norway.

Craig (15:14.998)
That is slowing down as you can see, because again, the no double points this weekend. So that's a possibility reason why, big events come up in July 11 to 13, four events in Western New York Munzee marathon. The same weekend, there's five events in the Netherlands as well. July 25th Munzee at bash Rob, this is new. I saw this pop up Munzee at bash in Ohio. Now the reason for it again, it's another coexisting event. So there is a, Joe, Joe.

Rob (15:34.552)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (15:41.358)
a Geobash event there itself as well. there's a few attendees there. I think Whelan and, and Cockroach7, et cetera. Munzee Prof, maybe another one. I'm not sure. But they're the ones that are actually doing that particular event too. By the way, Munzee Prof, big shout out to him. He did all the, he did a lot. Him and Kevin did all the, the virtual, the physicals around for our events here in Ohio too. So we have the number three over here in Ohio. Number one and two are in the UK.

So yeah, that's a good event itself to go for at the moment. I'm gonna be there Rob as well The there's that they attend easing starting to grow with that as it's just known So if you're going to to the bash the geo bash, then why not go to the Munzee at bash, too? It's right right there in same sort of place. All right, Rob Also that one there. I was thinking about it. You're not going are you you can't go to that one? No

Rob (16:34.23)
Not as far as you know yet, no?

Craig (16:36.532)
No, no. So Rob's not going. So that means, that means for everyone out there who can't make it, you know, for instance, as well, all the SMS squad out there, you, know who you are. Cards, cards can be placed and even virtual, virtual, temporary virtuals can be placed as well up to 30 days beforehand too. So get them out there as well at the Munzee at Bash in Wassey on Ohio. I'm probably saying that wrong, but anyway.

September 12 to 14, four events over three days. Munzee Mania in Minnesota, that's always a big event and a great event. So again, get your Will-O-Tens in for that. January 16 to 18 is for next year now. Munzee Mecca in Florida and also next year, March 6th and 7th. Munzee Madness back the year 15 in Southern California. There you go, mate. There you go. So that was the events over the weekend. Now we're gonna discuss one more thing I think before we move on in regards to the events over the weekend and that is Rob.

Rob (17:20.758)
Yeah.

Craig (17:30.432)
As you know, take our events, we love our events, you and I both, we love events, we love talking to the players, we love talking to everyone around, you know, I will say if you're new to events, then it is okay to go to an event, it is okay to stand around or sit around or whatever, talking at the event with your head in your phone. Everyone will be doing it, it's not rude at all, it is what it is, you know, everyone is there playing the same game, the same way, et cetera, et cetera as well.

Yeah, don't be don't feel like you're rude and you have to actually look up and talk to people and look at them in the eye Because they won't be looking you in the eye. So everyone playing the game everyone's playing the game But we all we all we all can do that two things at once Rob, which is really weird for a guy. But anyway Also one thing as well Rob and that is we sometimes get great great ideas come through the players and And you're you included as well like you spoke in regards to Herbie. I spoke to Kevin Rob I'm not gonna say any more than

Rob (18:04.522)
I agree. It's true.

Rob (18:12.952)
You know, yeah.

Rob (18:28.002)
Yeah, yes, please.

Craig (18:28.814)
than this, than this. they'll also say is cause Kevin knows and that is, yes, Kevin, I've spoken to the team and yes, Kevin, it may or may not be on the cards and then in the future. So very cool indeed. Very cool. We love.

Rob (18:40.578)
Definitions of near future are up to interpretation for all people around the world as everyone.

Craig (18:44.23)
absolutely. Near future for a child, near future for a child is up to five years. You see, so that's okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. See it's, I'm, I'm, I'm not like you, Rob. don't, I didn't tie myself to time frame. So, but what I'm saying, Rob is that we, you and I, and the rest of the team are very approachable in things like that too. So if you have a great Munzee idea, you want to reach out to one of us as well. Let us know your ideas.

Rob (18:52.512)
hey, I like that. I like that. That's a great definition.

Rob (19:00.535)
Yeah, soon, coming soon.

Rob (19:11.783)
Absolutely.

Craig (19:12.012)
You know, and, and see how things go from there because it is a small team, Rob. And, know, they can only have so many ideas coming through Dylan and Mari sort of mind. And they, as they pop through and, and go from there. So anything else you'd like to say before we move on from the big events that we attended last weekend?

Rob (19:27.864)
No, it was all good. But like you said, when I sat there before the noon event on Sunday with a group of people that I'd really only sat and talked with one of them before. So just hearing new ideas is always kind of fun and it gives people an opportunity to kind of ask some quiet questions that I can answer quietly that, you know, I'm not going to shout the answers out to everyone on Discord or any of that kind of stuff.

Craig (19:36.718)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (19:40.715)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (19:50.252)
Yes. Yeah.

No. No.

Rob (19:57.612)
So yeah, always fun to get some good ideas. If they're really, really good, then I usually have people message you or if you're with me, I have them go and tell you and I know that you'll write them down because they get tucked away in my brain, but there's so many other things in there that the filter doesn't always work. Yeah. So.

Craig (20:07.15)
Yeah, I know. I know. I know. The other one more thing I like as well, Robin, that is the education side of events. And when I say education side is, you know, I love sitting down with the, people as well. And then, and they asked me questions. said, you know, Craig about the EVO's and the EVO points this week, you know, or this month, I should say for, how do I get the EVO points this month? How do get the Whittles points? I've never done Whittles before, you know, all that sort of thing. We can.

Rob (20:33.485)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (20:34.75)
But if you're showing people in person, it's so much different than doing a video or trying to explain it as well via the water cooler. So there we go. All right, I'm moving on now because we've only got 10 minutes left already. Wow, wow, wow. Yes. OK, go for it. Yeah, I'm ready.

Rob (20:42.36)
Definitely.

Rob (20:47.032)
I can do the first two of them so, so well and quickly together. Are you ready for this? We announced the birthday events for July. So the info has been released. Anyone who's the host of an event, we'd love for you to turn your event into an official birthday party. That event info is not going to be read everything here, but it is a $75 package comes with the things that you're used to.

Craig (20:56.942)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (21:04.812)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (21:14.286)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (21:14.616)
We do have cake ingredients that are coming back, but we have new cake ingredients that will be added to make a new special cake this year. All of that info is on the blog and more will be continuing to come out soon. It's going to be all month long, the month of July. Then here's what was, oh, oh.

Craig (21:18.936)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (21:23.053)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (21:31.072)
Mm-hmm. Before then, before then, before then I was going to say, and you might think $75. that's a lot for one person to handle. You can have up to four people, co-hosting the events as well. And all four people then get the same thing as the one person for hosting. So all four cohort, you don't share, you don't share a hundred cake or 450 cake or whatever it is. I don't know exactly, but you each get that amount of cake credits and stuff too. So you each share the, the rewards of hosting too. So don't forget up to four people can do co-host. Yes, Rob, keep going.

Rob (21:59.126)
Yeah, the rewards being based on how many people show up to your event. So make it a big event. The other thing, because we announced this and then the first questions that Lou got was, well, what are the double point weekends for the month of July so that I can choose which weekend I want to put mine on? We put this information out how by the time people are listening, however, I'm going to say it just so that it is out there.

Craig (22:02.936)
Correct. Correct.

Craig (22:07.779)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (22:12.507)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (22:23.406)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (22:23.416)
We're going to have something going on every single weekend, every Friday through Sunday. And all of the weekends are going to have greenies, cards, flats, and temps. All of them are going to have those. In addition to that, the fourth through the sixth is going to be Evolutions and Destinations. The second weekend, the 11th through the 13th, is Gaming and Elemental Mysteries.

Craig (22:34.966)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (22:49.108)
or and the blue mystery, then Friday the 18th through the 20th, we have all the virtual colors and the jewels and then the final weekend, the 25th through the 27th, we are adding in zodiacs and mechs. Mechs. my. Wow. Wow.

Craig (23:03.746)
Max, So there you go, Sarah, PJ, Kevin from the Munzee Maniacs podcast every weekend, every weekend, every weekend in July.

Rob (23:14.934)
That's right. For those who want to get all of your points at the beginning of the month, well then, you know what to focus on for the beginning of the month.

Craig (23:19.854)
Mm-hmm.

Yep. That's fair enough. That's fair enough. Exactly. Meanwhile, Rob, a new thing came out this week as well. The bouncing virtual gardens. Now we sort of teased this last week a little bit when they went out and then come back and, it's gone out, gone out now for, for, for, for properly for good. Quick rundown, bouncing virtual gardens. They're very different because it come on the water cooler in regards to, you used to do this with physicals back in the day when it was only greenies apparently, but we're like, no, this is totally different. Apparently used to.

Rob (23:32.792)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (23:52.406)
share your QR code across the world and move it. Yeah, no, that's you move, the bouncing virtual gardens is nothing like that. Tell us about bouncing virtual gardens in a one minute spiel go.

Rob (23:55.19)
No, not the same thing.

Rob (24:04.472)
it's a virtual garden that bounces. Yeah. Less than a minute. Yeah. So, they are created by MHQ. Sam was thankful that last, last week I said 25 % chance of it launching by, by Friday, Sam, we did it this week. Well done. so yeah. the bouncing virtual garden, made up of pins. This very first one, excuse me, my throat's all closed up. so excited about it.

Craig (24:07.412)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That's it. That's it.

Craig (24:14.264)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (24:19.308)
Yeah.

Rob (24:34.008)
This first one is a rainbow and it is made up only of bouncing virtual pins. Those are owned by team members only so that as we've tested anyone who is losing points, it's us. If things were wrong, if it wasn't working, the badge has not been awarding properly as we've tested it. And so we are working that out. Once that gets worked out, then we're going to launch this as an official product.

Craig (24:37.229)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (24:42.024)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (24:48.908)
Yes.

Craig (24:55.224)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Rob (25:02.968)
And this will be something that, um, I hope people get really excited about and see the value because, um, we've launched it and in the first, uh, 24 hours is the, uh, garden bounced around to enough places that it already had 60 captures on it. Yeah. And it did not bounce to 60 locations. It bounced to maybe like 20 locations. So yeah, this is going to be the kind of thing where if you've ever put, um,

Craig (25:06.306)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (25:19.79)
Yeah, the value, no. Yeah, yeah.

Rob (25:32.596)
a pin in a garden at a big event, like let's say, Joe Woodstock, 17, which would have been many years ago now, right, it would have been four years ago, you rely on people going back to that location. With the bouncing virtual garden, we're going to take your pin, and we're going to bounce it around to different events. The the main idea behind this is getting these bouncing virtual gardens to events.

Craig (25:37.826)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (25:47.362)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (25:53.537)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (26:01.965)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (26:02.018)
during the week time when there are no events, then it's just going to bounce around the world. The amount of time that it sits in a location is going to vary. And we're going to be changing this up for quite a bit as we work on it over the next week or two, I'm sure.

Craig (26:04.782)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (26:13.8)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Quick, a few quick questions come through this Rob. One and one question is, are you going to limit the amount that people can purchase because you don't want the, you know, the big players for instance, who spend the coin to go, okay, I'm going to buy an entire virtual garden myself. You know, is there, there, is there limited, the limited amount that people can buy? I'm going to say yes, because yes, yes, yes, it'll be limited amount. won't be players can't purchase that at the same time, Rob as well. Cause where were you during our meeting?

Rob (26:31.512)
Yeah, I don't know.

I don't know. I don't know yet. You are.

Craig (26:47.466)
I don't know. there must be, there will be limits on the amount of pens you can actually purchase. Number one. Number two, that's, that's, I didn't, that's right. That's right. I didn't say what, there will be a limit. There will be a limit. And the second thing, the second thing, this is what it's like with Rob sometimes. Rob, reign it in, reign it in, reign it in. I'm wrangling him now. The other thing, Rob, in that is that,

Rob (26:48.043)
I was taking a nap.

Rob (26:54.686)
what limit gets to be determined by us as we move forward.

Rob (27:03.704)
77. Just kidding.

I actually got you that time. You're like,

Craig (27:16.224)
that these bouncing virtual gardens, when they are actually allowed to be purchased, the purchasing of these gardens, there won't be just one garden, there'll be several gardens. And each of these gardens will be released at different timeframes. So therefore everyone around the world is awake when a new one will be like not published, but allowed to be purchased as well. So that's another thing. And we're spreading out the love around the world. So Australia, USA, UK, you can all have your own starts too.

Rob (27:43.448)
You are setting my feet in concrete man. Wow. Danger.

Craig (27:47.246)
Yes, I am. Yes, I am. Yes, I am. So this is Mari Dylan. You're welcome. Uh, so yeah, that's those sort of things as well. Uh, price point on those. don't have a price point at the moment that hasn't been discussed as yet. So I'll wait for that. And Rob, do you did mention a badge? Now what this badge is, is it's actually a badge for a cap, like capping it. So if you're the player that the lands are on or around, if you cap the entire

Rob (27:57.762)
Nope, not yet.

Craig (28:12.31)
not just the, not just the PY pin, there is a PY pin there, but not just a PY pin, but the entire garden, then you get a special badge for it. So that, that will draw, will entice every player out there to try and cap all of them as they can. Because as we know, other gardens out there as well, not everyone blasts these gardens. And so some people won't even have time. So they'll let hand cap as many as they can. So not every pin is going to have the same amount of caps. So, and, and not only that you won't be able to show, you won't be able to like,

place one exactly where you want either in that particular garden. So you get a random deploy in that garden. So that's how it works. Yes. Nope. Nope.

Rob (28:46.946)
They are temporary, so these are not gonna last forever. Current first launch is gonna be probably a six week time period, that's what we're thinking. Because if we put those out in the middle of June, guess what that means? That they last all the way through the birthday month. So, interesting timing, isn't it?

Craig (28:54.814)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yep. Yep.

Craig (29:02.92)
Mm-hmm. Yeah, exactly. It is, it is. All right, Rob, we may have more questions for next week's podcast in regards to that as well after this one goes out.

Rob (29:13.656)
Speaking of interesting timing, this is going out on Friday the 13th, isn't it?

Craig (29:19.725)
Yes.

Rob (29:21.176)
That's weird, I wonder if anything's gonna happen today.

Craig (29:24.48)
or has happened today.

Rob (29:25.868)
By the time they're listening? Yeah, I don't remember. Maybe.

Craig (29:27.49)
Yeah, neither do I. Moving on. What about Secret Zeops?

Rob (29:33.586)
Moving on.

Rob (29:39.14)
man, speaking of secrets, it's the even, it's an even month. And this year, it seems to have been the even months when the secret zeops have gone live sometime around the 15th, usually. Yeah, that's right. Stick around.

Craig (29:41.656)
Again, you got a minute, let's go.

Yeah.

Craig (29:51.478)
Yeah, normally, because it's halfway through the month normally. But who knows, who knows? All right, Rob, we're gonna move on to the question of the week. This one's from Jonestownboy. Now I remember you answered this one 12 months ago or so, but it's come back up again. So for those people who are new listening, and he asks, is the drop down list still coming on the app for badges? You know the badges part where you have to scroll through the badges to see which ones? Yeah, yeah. Is there a drop list still coming? Because you said.

Rob (30:05.303)
Of course it has.

Rob (30:16.023)
Yeah.

Craig (30:19.502)
12 months ago you said it's on the list but it's down, down the list. It's far down the list.

Rob (30:24.152)
Hang on, me scroll through the list and see if it's still here. Let's see. Drop down list for badges. There it is. Yep, still on the list. Coming soon.

Craig (30:28.302)
Ha

Craig (30:35.512)
Perfect. There it is. It's still on the list and it's still far down. That's right. That's right. All right, Rob, moving on now to you, you, you, You put your hand up for Munzee Tip of the Week this week.

Rob (30:44.744)
I gave the Munzee tip of the week earlier. Everybody focus in on those double points and then think like, how, how could I get these things done in a slightly different way? Like instead of racing people for the closest of the, scatters, you know, you're just sitting there, watching the bottom of the list, picking things off of the bottom, especially if you're running a capture radius booster at an event that is definitely one way to, to compete against the people sitting right there next to you.

Craig (30:49.196)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Craig (30:56.034)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (31:00.686)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (31:04.322)
Yeah.

Craig (31:08.066)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Absolutely. Exactly. That's perfect one too, Rob. And one other tip as well, and that is if you're in an area that is Munzee heavy on like say Wednesday or Thursday, for instance, and you know a double point weekend's coming up, then filter out what is double points so you don't accidentally cap it. And when you can cap it on the Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and get double points for it too. So use your filters wisely, Rob. Good tips, good tips. Anyway, Rob, over the timeframe, that ends another official Munzee podcast.

Rob (31:36.258)
Good plan.

Rob (31:40.994)
