Craig (00:01.164)
Welcome to the Official Munzee podcast.

Rob (00:03.752)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee

Craig (00:07.496)
And I'm Craig also known as Seemyshell, I started as an avid Munzee player, now proudly part of the team.

Rob (00:12.66)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.

Craig (00:19.608)
So sit back and relax. In today's episode, let's get ready to rumble. I didn't even say it properly, but anyway, I'll put in.

Rob (00:26.232)
rumble let's get ready to rumble nope that was closer but

Craig (00:34.06)
I'll just, I'll just play it here now. There we go. That's better. That sounds, that sounds much better. As long as we don't get flagged for copyright. Anyway, Rob, Rob, Rob, buddy. How have you been, mate? There's been some ups and downs and we're to talk about all the ups and the downs in this episode. the downs will be much quick. Don't worry. It's okay, Rob. But, but meanwhile, we did say before in the start that it is a rumble. It is a battle going on at the moment. The battle has begun.

Rob (00:38.08)
That was amazing.

Rob (00:42.772)
E.

Rob (00:51.53)
No thank you.

Rob (00:55.872)
Okay, good.

Rob (01:04.342)
Yes.

Craig (01:04.568)
So first and foremost, if you don't know, then there is a battle of the bards, they're called, and it is part of the mailbox. It is not too late, if you want to be part of the battle, it's not too late. When is it too late for people to actually get the mailbox?

Rob (01:10.016)
Yes.

Rob (01:18.368)
July 31st, we're going to leave the mailbox available all the way through the month because this one is set up in a different way so that everyone gets the cards when they deploy or when they cap the mailbox for the very first time. So the only thing that they'll be missing out on is the small rewards and the capture icons basically for the days that they miss the

Craig (01:20.276)
Home. All the way.

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (01:35.477)
Right.

Rob (01:47.124)
The widow bard will be given the first time that you kept the mailbox starting on the second that that happened. Or actually, I think it's delivered with the mailbox when it's delivered. I can't remember how we work it. But yeah, you get that one because that's the main reward, really. And the biggest value. And then the good news is that you're put on a team and and then you're going to get rewards bigger.

Craig (01:52.468)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (02:03.062)
Either way, you still get the whittle as well.

Yeah.

Craig (02:13.72)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (02:16.978)
and extra rewards just for being part of the Battle of the Bards. So yeah.

Craig (02:18.648)
at the end of the month.

Perfect. Perfect. And if you are late to the party and you cap the, you buy it, you deploy it, you cap it straight away and the cards aren't instantly delivered. You're not instantly on a team. It's okay. Wait up because it does need to be physically maintained. So we can try and keep the teams even. Um, that's the main reason for it. So just because you cap it, you don't look in your inventory and go, Oh, it's not even there yet. I can say that.

Rob (02:38.186)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (02:46.446)
Um, because that's what I've actually heard from other, personal people, personal messages said, Craig, this is what's happened. Um, uh, unbeknownst, uh, like a lot of people, like even myself, Rob, where we got, we got the mailbox straight away and I deployed it straight away, which is like three or four or five days ago now when I first got it. And, uh, and then I've been capping it ever since. And because mailboxes are movable, it gets me in the habit of capping it every day and moving it as I travel as well around the U S so.

That's what it is. Meanwhile, Rob, let's talk about what teams we are on. The teams have been decided. There's four teams, Rob. What are they?

Rob (03:19.756)
Oh, they are Yikes. The Crimson Chalice. And I know that because that one is the team that I am on. Also, we have Stormbound. Then we have the star sirens and the accidents, which I do love that name. Yeah.

Craig (03:21.718)
Yeah. Mm hmm.

Craig (03:32.142)
Mm-hmm.

the X acts a dense. That's, that's a funny. That's a good name. That's a good name. Now I'm on storm bound and a storm is brewing. Rob a storm is absolutely brewing. I've got some good players on my team as well. I've got people like the number one player in the world. W Helen. He's a storm bounder, storm bounder. like that. it covers is is is is is from Sarah from the Munzee Manix podcast as well. She's on my team storm. Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy.

Rob (03:51.852)
Craig (04:03.66)
Minnesota books on StormBound and so many others as well. If, if, me know, let me know if you're on StormBound or Rob, there's new chats, private, private chats set up in discord. If you're not a member of discord, that's okay. You're not missing out on anything, but if you are a member of discord, then look in discord, whatever team you've got a private chat in that particular team, Sam has set them up. So it looks really cool.

Rob (04:26.208)
Yeah, and that's Munzee dot com slash discord in order to get set up there. We know that everyone doesn't like discord and that's perfectly fine. They have a discord with discord. However, the thing about it is we there are lot of people that are in there and use it actively. And if the conversation seems to be dead on the Munzee water cooler on Facebook, go check out discord. And there's usually something going on there. There's giveaways and things that are run by the players.

Craig (04:29.422)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (04:33.357)
Yeah.

Craig (04:48.876)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (04:55.02)
Everything's good. That beeping was on my side. Sorry, everyone. Yeah, that was the that that, of course, was the perfect timing of the dishwasher saying I'm finished. So. Hey, all that rude yikes. So here's something else that I have done. well, before before I get there, the crimson chalice, I just happened to have Joe cashing vlogger on my team, which is pretty cool. Yeah.

Craig (04:57.966)
Oh, that was your side. I thought it was mine.

Craig (05:05.293)
It

Craig (05:16.555)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (05:23.246)
Of course you do, of course you do.

Rob (05:24.746)
Well, we both know that he's a bit less active than you Minnesota boy, you know, but that's okay. It isn't that he doesn't play. It's more of an encouragement because he's in a clan. He gets his points. He does all of his stuff. He he sometimes it seems life, you know, is

Craig (05:30.934)
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Yes.

Rob (05:51.58)
number one, and then Munzee comes in, you know, in the top five ish. Well, you know, hey, that's how it works for some people. That's what I'm told. Yeah. So I've got Cole Cracker seven on my team. Munzee Prof is out there on a separate team, Jack Sparrow. So the the system, we actually did use a system to split up kind of like the top 100 that would be in. So they were thrown out there into teams. And then then

Craig (05:52.718)
Hmm.

Craig (05:56.536)
funny that. How dare,

Craig (06:15.518)
Yeah. Yeah.

Rob (06:21.3)
you and I were tossed out there as well. the good part is that it wasn't human eyes that were looking at this to try and set all of it up. So, yeah, it was it was cool. I did look at it after it had all been separated and went through and just kind of like eyeballed to see does it does it make sense? Do we have a couple of people to stacked? I don't think so. The.

Craig (06:24.792)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (06:38.734)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (06:47.254)
No. At the end of the day, Rob.

Rob (06:49.226)
The scoreboard at the very beginning though, you know, has Crimson Chalice jumping way out. I've kept one card and I've you could look in our discord. All I did was said, welcome Crimson Chalice. Let's roll. I can't lose again, basically. And, and I've got some very active people in why, in why I Sutter has actually kind of taken charge. And then a lot of people chatting and

Craig (06:52.974)
I wonder why. Yeah.

Craig (07:08.494)
you

Craig (07:12.942)
But if people don't... Yeah.

Rob (07:19.276)
Everybody's just getting ready.

Craig (07:20.77)
But the best thing I find about this and that is every single person is on the same playing field, exactly the same. Whether you've got 100 million points already up your sleeve or if you've got 100 points and that's it. It makes no difference because we all get the same cards. These pure points themselves are based off the cards that everyone has the same amount of. So there's no difference in regards to that. It is all about where you place the cards, when you place the cards.

because you get points for deploying the cards themselves. And then how many caps your cards get. So I'm probably giving it away here anyway, and then that regards to, and everyone can work out their own strategies. Each team can work out their own strategies. But all I'll say is that that's all it's about. It's not about, so you can be W. Helen, for instance, and W. Helen getting three, 400,000 points every single week makes no difference because

You know, it's about the cards that was delivered. Now the cards that was delivered, as we said last week, just going through them, there is one, two, three, four, five, six different cards, each worth different amount of point value. And each of those you've got different amounts of. Now coming up very soon, you will be able to redeem. Yes, then you will be able to redeem for more cards. But again, Rob, they are limited.

Rob (08:35.084)
By the time everyone listens, they will be able to.

Rob (08:43.948)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (08:44.45)
So you can only have a certain amount. it's all about number one, getting your cards out there. Number two is getting them to the good places where they're going to get caps. and number three is, is getting used, you're using stamps to get all the, all the extra cards that you can get. And then every single person out there is on the same level playing field. And that's what I enjoy about this. So it makes a difference whether you've got Rob on your team or whether you've got Rubina on your team who no one even knows. It makes no difference.

Rob (09:13.388)
I don't even know. Yeah, I agree. I'm really looking forward to this. And there's been a lot of good chat and in both the water cooler and on Discord. Just a lot of excitement.

Craig (09:15.893)
No, exactly.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (09:25.76)
Yes. Yes. Exactly. Exactly. One more thing, Rob, before we move on to the events, et cetera, and go from there. And that is my, myself and Joshua, the geocaching vlogger, very, very excited to have you on our show on our podcast, the treasures of our town recently, where we spoke about because our treasures of our town podcasts, if you haven't heard about it, it is a travel podcast, but it's based, our travels are based on

Location based games such as geocaching Munzee, etc. And so this one was very Munzee heavy and the reasons why there was 10 10 reasons why Munzee is good for travelers Rob. So Did you enjoy the the episode? Mm-hmm

Rob (09:59.232)
Yeah, it was. It was a lot of fun, really enjoyed hanging out, chatting with you guys. And well, I always enjoy that. But but, you know, when you want to talk, Munzee, OK, yeah, I've got an hour. I've got an hour built in for that.

Craig (10:11.246)
No matter where it is exactly.

Rob (10:14.666)
Yeah. And then you guys have golden nuggets that you share with your supporters, the Patreon supporters. And that was equally fun just to sit and chat with Josh about Miami and Disney World. So I had a lot of fun there. And so, yeah, I would encourage everyone to go check out that episode of the podcast because it is about Munzee and, you know, could be something that you could share with other people.

Craig (10:18.978)
Yes. Yes.

Craig (10:24.194)
Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (10:36.696)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Rob (10:42.636)
you know, to kind of explain a little bit and it's not you personally explaining it. It's it's me and see my show, you know, geocaching blogger kind of given some, some ideas about what Munzee could be used for. So there you go. Yeah, man.

Craig (10:42.67)
Mmm.

Craig (10:51.32)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (10:55.31)
Exactly. So thank you very much for joining us Rob on that. Meanwhile, the events over the last weekend in USA, we only had one in Illinois and around the world we had the Netherlands. The leaderboards over the weekend, Rob, we had Friday, B514, 487,000 points. Jaffa 43 on 477,000 points. A big shout out to Jaffa. And Toxins with 336,000 points. I will say a big shout out to Jaffa too because

She's recently, when I say recently, in the last six months or so, she's had some medical stuff too, so it's good to see she's back on her feet and getting back out there, Rob, too. So, yes, well done, Jaffo, mate. A big shout out to you and get well soon. On Saturday, Rob.

Rob (11:31.87)
Absolutely.

Rob (11:36.172)
Yeah, Saturday we had B514 once again sitting in first place this time with one million points. Where did they travel? Wow. In Z Kiwi coming in second with five hundred and forty nine thousand and Mark Case. Wow. Two hundred and twenty eight thousand coming out of North Carolina. All right.

Craig (11:43.886)
Wow

Craig (11:54.622)
Hmm Wow, what's going on over there on Sunday Rob? We had other man himself w Helen back in first place with 273,000 points. They're probably cap ones and then B514 again rounding out a trifecta on the leaderboard for the weekend with 242,000 Rob you look at it there and that's almost two million points over the weekend for B5 for fun

Rob (11:57.324)
No

Rob (12:18.486)
Yeah. Yeah.

Craig (12:19.758)
So yes, and then of course in third place is Coal Cracker 7 with 201,000 points for third as well. And again, another one, Coal Cracker 7 get well soon. So that's all I'll say in regards to her. So yes, yes, yes. Events coming up this week or this weekend, Rob, have in USA, we have Arizona, Indiana, Kansas and Ohio and around the world, mate.

Rob (12:34.028)
There you go.

Rob (12:43.54)
It was Iowa, not Indiana. But yes, the others are correct. I. Yeah, exactly. Around the world, we have British Columbia, Canada, three in Germany to in Lithuania to in England, Netherlands and Denmark.

Craig (12:45.838)
IA, IA, internal affairs, I don't know, anyway.

Craig (13:03.374)
And of course, Rob, the birthday events have begun. But first and foremost, July 11 to 13, we have four events, Western New York Munzee Marathon up there as well. Same weekend, five events in the Netherlands as well. July 25th, Rob, Munzee at Bash in Wasio on Ohio. Now, before we move on, I've got to give an apology, Rob. I've said something, I said a word, I said the word coexist. this is not, unfortunately, this is not a co-exist, an official coexist event.

Rob (13:23.18)
Hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (13:31.816)
it, as geocaching itself won't allow events, Munzee events at the same time as the GC events. But I was saying it's close enough to wear your shirts, Rob, you know, where those coexist shirts, you know, they're really cool shirts. So why not wear those as well? So a big thanks and shout out to Munzee prof, and all the event hosts in regards to the Washington, Ohio. One quick thing I will say as well, there are coexist events you can host, but

They're only for your local geocaching events. They must be hosted at the same time, at the same location. They are rare, Rob, but you can do it as long as, as long as you do not make any mention whatsoever about the Munzee event in the geocaching page. That's pretty much what you need to not do. So they are available.

Rob (14:05.58)
Yes.

Rob (14:17.76)
They're yeah, they're they're they watch very carefully on their mega events and it's written into the clauses for them. So it's it's not possible to get our coexist badge. Their coexist is the term that we use for when Munzee players and geocaching players. You you go to geocaching events, you go to Munzee events. But but yeah, the badge itself is very specific and it is a little more difficult to earn. Yeah.

Craig (14:22.508)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (14:29.952)
Nah. Nah.

Yes.

Craig (14:39.81)
Yeah. Yeah.

Craig (14:46.072)
Yes. So do apologize. I wasn't talking about the badge. was talking about our beautiful shirts. more so than anything else. Rob, I wasn't even thinking about the badge to be honest with you. Honestly, I wasn't even thinking about it until it was brought up to me, regards to Lou and Munzee Prof as well. Anyway, Rob, moving on to September 12th to 14th, four events over three days, Munzee Mania in Minnesota. I'll be there by the sounds of it. The maybe possibility of a, a, the King and Queen of Munzee may be there as well. So we'll soon see.

Rob (14:50.325)
Yeah!

Rob (14:55.242)
I know. Yeah.

Rob (15:06.666)
Mm.

Maybe me still no official news yet. Yeah. Maybe.

Craig (15:15.49)
We'll see president and first lady, January 16th, 18 Muncie Mecca in Florida. then March six and seven Muncie madness is back again in Southern California. Rob moving on first and foremost, let's, let's talk about the elephant in the room. That wasn't enough. That was, that's really bad. clan war requirements came out last week. Now, last week on the podcast, you said to me that you were going to make things.

Rob (15:17.58)
There you go.

Craig (15:42.124)
different, were going change it up. And by changing up, you did say that, that you had to be premium to be level two or above, you know, that sort of thing too. But there was one other thing that you put in place, Rob, in regards to event pin requirements. And this Rob, this literally blew up the water cooler. It blew it up so high, the water cooler that it dried it out. There was a drought on the water cooler, Rob, because there was no water left in the water cooler. Everyone was drinking it.

Rob (16:07.541)
Yeah.

All the water drains from the cooler. Yeah.

Craig (16:12.41)
Everyone was drinking it from the cooler. let's discuss this just for quickly. If you know, I know then then Rob, you put out the claim requirements that the lower levels themselves needed event pins as a clan, not individual as a clan. So you did do it as a clan, but in saying that they may have been too high. So what's happened since then?

Rob (16:33.258)
Yeah, so, you know, we every month hold the claim requirements as we can change these like before the third. Don't think that it's a good idea to change them after the third, because that's a moving target. You've already said, here's what level I'll sign up for. then because I did change them after the third a long time ago, and that didn't go well. So, you know, learn lessons each time.

Craig (16:43.79)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (16:51.341)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (16:56.194)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Rob (17:01.076)
So we haven't had event indicator pins in the game as requirements since 2018. And I have a feeling that it might be that long again before we see them. We'll let everyone let this memory go a little bit before we bring that back in. Possibly, you know, just thought that it would be a little bit of fun because we do have.

Craig (17:08.002)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (17:13.698)
Yeah.

Rob (17:26.124)
so many birthday events going on. believe the number earlier this week was 64 events across the month of July. And what better way to grow the game locally than to have an event, you know, get together with people. It just it spreads the spreads the joy and grows the map and all that kind of stuff. So, you know, a little shot in the mist there with the numbers in particular. And so we're

Craig (17:32.606)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (17:40.536)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (17:45.869)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (17:52.91)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (17:55.948)
We're always pretty responsive. it doesn't mean that we change everything that people don't like, like the number of greenies and all that kind of stuff. Well, you know, greenies are free. So if you don't have them to cap, then now's the time to go deploy more. wonder if deploying and growing your map and having more out would be a good thing for some other time in the near future. Who knows relief, right? Cause we all know I don't have the plan for August yet. So don't worry about that.

Craig (18:00.064)
No.

Craig (18:03.694)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (18:20.097)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (18:25.388)
yeah, so anyway, that's it. yeah. Sorry for drama. I promise we don't try to cause drama. It really is not a goal. Definitely.

Craig (18:29.358)
That's all it was. Yeah.

Craig (18:36.329)
No, no. Well, Rob, I didn't even see the claim requirements come out and all of sudden I was getting messages. had three different messages from three different people. What is this? What is this? What is it? I'm like, I don't, I, I, what, what are you talking about? I don't know yet. And then I messaged you and you're like, Oh, it's a claim request. I'm like, Oh, what has Rob done to the clan? And then I went in and went, Oh, Rob. So anyway, in saying that, as you just said as well.

Rob (18:48.618)
Yeah.

Rob (18:53.632)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (19:00.142)
forever changes, you know, you have the right to change it before the third in which you have for the good reasons and for good, you didn't delete them all together, you know, that particular one. So they were still there, but they've just swapped around numbers of change to accommodate more, more people and more players. So very cool. And don't forget as well, if you cannot get, if you're a clan of one or two and you and your two can't get to an event itself, you can always host an event as well, Rob too. So

You can host a free event. Every event you can host is free, but then you pay for the add-ons, like including the event pin would be an add-on. you know, all that sort of stuff too. They're all add-ons.

Rob (19:36.906)
Yeah. If you want cake, for example, you have to have the basic event package. That's a $10 package to get the pink pin and 50 event pins. And that's going to give you cake and cake is valuable. Hey, by the way, this isn't in the notes, but next week we're launching the new items that are going to be available for cake.

Craig (19:44.076)
Yeah, $10 pack. Easy.

Craig (19:50.412)
Yeah.

Lots of Exactly.

Craig (19:59.918)
Rob (20:01.578)
That's not going to happen until next week. So for everyone who's going to events this weekend and you're getting lots of cake, don't use it. Don't use it. Get your cake, but don't redeem it too. Okay, just hold on to it Monday, Monday, Tuesday. That's when we're going to let everybody know about the new stuff. Okay.

Craig (20:04.556)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (20:08.054)
Keep your cake. Keep your cake.

Craig (20:14.198)
Yes, hold on to your cake. Don't eat it yet.

Mm-hmm. look at that. So if the listeners only you get you get if you don't listen this podcast They won't know they're gonna eat their cake early and miss out So that's a good thing about listening to this podcast Rob Alright, mate moving on to the Munzee monthly moments for videos for June has been finished as well They're on YouTube itself as well and how I do it now Rob is that I don't go live anymore I do a YouTube video

Rob (20:28.395)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (20:43.598)
I show the videos, the finalists that are on that YouTube video as well. And even maybe one or two of the special mentions, I call them as well. Special mentions are those ones that are really cool, but they win a lot. I'm like, oh, just give them a special mention instead so other people can win, which is really cool. I then put a poll on as the post for 24 hours and I watched that poll and then whoever wins that poll then wins the competition, Rob. So I think.

That's lot more fairer than the live stuff because people have 24 hours to make their choice and make their decisions, you know, that sort of thing too, rather than have to watch the 10 or 15 minutes live midday on the first of every month. So some people actually work. So that works out better. Meanwhile, the video for July.

Rob (21:25.832)
Huh, weird.

Craig (21:30.284)
It's music mealy themed or melee themed. How do you say it? You like say melee, melee, melee. There's no A in melee, but anyway, M-E-L-E-E, melee. Anyway, it is musically themed. So you can have your video whereby you cap a physical Munzee of some sort with some sort of music. And it's up to you how you do that. As you've seen in the past, if you're watching these Munzee Monthly Moment videos,

Rob (21:32.684)
Melee, but yeah. Yeah. I know.

Craig (21:58.734)
I predominantly pick the ones that are out of the box, Rob, like the, the think outside the square, you know, the look and go, okay, I'm going to try this now instead, you know, have a look at even the, this month's finalists, you know, at least that sort of thing. I mean, you had Colecracker seven across the other side of the world for goodness sake, you know what I mean? So yeah, yeah. When she's over in England. So that was really cool too. So anyway, that's the videos for July and make sure you upload them on YouTube or on Tik TOK and then, um, put the submission through cuppa Z.

Rob (22:15.22)
Alright, yeah.

Craig (22:28.686)
That's all I'll say in regards to that. Moving back to the mailbox, Rob, there's only one more thing we need to mention in regards to the mailbox. We will move on. And that is that everyone needs to actually read. Again, we say this all the time. Read the descriptions. Don't have auto pop off off. know, read everything in regards to this because you may get some good humor there. You may get some nostalgia, Rob. Tell us about your nostalgia that you got.

Rob (22:51.318)
Yeah, there's, well, there's, you know, there's a little bit of the wording of some things, the blogs, the capture messages, the badges, where, you know, we've put in a little bit of creativity, and that stuff is to entertain us as much as anything else, so that it's not the same old work day. Yeah, so for for the blog,

Craig (23:02.35)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (23:21.004)
we had something written about the rhythm is gonna whatever and I changed it into a little bit of Of Gloria Estefan with you know, don't let the rhythm get you You know, let it lead you to a victory that kind of thing

Craig (23:25.518)
Hehehehehe

Craig (23:32.45)
Yes. The rhythm is going to get you. The rhythm is going to get you. It's so funny as well, Rob, because I mean, I can't sing for the life of me and yet I still sing when I see a couple of these, these names and stuff to come through. So it's really cool.

Rob (23:47.818)
Yeah, so here's another quick one for you. All right. As we get to the middle of the month, I'm wondering if any other types will join the fray. Do you know that band, the fray? No. OK, anyway. So if we do. Right, sure. If if we have America versus Australia, you know, we've talked about that in England, the music, the music that makes it different places around the world doesn't always match. If we do.

Craig (23:51.128)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (23:58.542)
No. I'm too young for that. I'm too young.

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Robbie Williams, for instance, Robbie Williams. Huge worldwide sensation. America? you mean the comedian? No. Anyway. Exactly.

Rob (24:17.994)
Yeah, yeah, exactly.

Yeah. Yeah, different, different levels of superstardom, you know, across the world. There there there's chat about the possibility of other types joining in now. It won't if it happens, it will be fair, as you and I have talked about, where it won't be like the Rob versus SMS challenge, where it was like flat Rob's counted from, you know, counted like for my

Craig (24:41.322)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Rob (24:51.488)
team and all the flat Aussies counted on your team. But the activity was across the board. If we did something like this, it would be where your team would get points for the deploys of whatever the type was and also the caps for that. And every team would get the points for all of that. It's very complicated. I'm only mentioning this because there's whispers of it. It doesn't mean it's going to happen. We'll see.

Craig (24:52.526)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (24:57.592)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (25:19.501)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (25:21.44)
We'll see. Maybe if there's lots of chat, maybe if the competition seems to be like, know, it's just kind of stalling out a little bit. If. And stamps are boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. And we know how people play. So double points this weekend in the real world competition with cards and flats and greenies and all the different things and all of that.

Craig (25:22.594)
Ha ha ha ha ha.

Craig (25:28.142)
floating down, just stagnating a bit because everyone's gone through all their cards in the first week.

every weekend.

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Rob (25:50.322)
information is out there. we may see a lot of cards deployed this weekend, but hold some cards for the middle of the month and later just because there are there are a lot of events spread across the month. So pay attention, everyone pay attention.

Craig (25:54.914)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (26:06.094)
Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. And just one more thing as well. And that is that the double point periods themselves don't, don't affect the actual competition points at all. Double points is only for player points themselves. So it doesn't matter whether you cap a card that's worth one point for your team on a Tuesday, random Tuesday, or if you cap it during double point period, won't make any difference to the actual competition play the battle of the bar.

Rob (26:16.588)
Correct.

Craig (26:34.09)
So that's where it works. Rob, I will say as well, if you want to find out who your friends teams are, it's very, very easy, very quick. Go into their profile and under their profile picture and their level is you'll see in those little, little green sort of circles. You know, you got the G O T which is, know, the garden of the month and player of the month. You've got all those little things there as well. Cruisy status, their statuses. It's on their status, Rob. That's exactly where it is. And you'll see what team that they are on and whether you can talk to them for the rest of the month or not.

Rob (27:03.712)
Yeah, hey, so on our social pages, we're going to be asking some questions. We're going to be throwing some musical trivia. We want everyone to interact with us on that. But also what we would love to see is we would love to see you putting together some different types of things, maybe with your team name. And, you know, if if your team, the storm is brewing, if you guys start something.

Craig (27:03.801)
mm hmm.

Craig (27:10.902)
Yes. Yes.

Craig (27:21.795)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (27:26.498)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (27:27.742)
and maybe you're together at an event, then, you know, throw that out there on social media, tag us in it. We see myself will be, you know, kind of reposting those and sending it out and shouting out about you. You never know when we might have some extra stamps lying around to toss to, you know, some people as rewards, because it's the stamps that are going to be really important this month to keep the competition going. So.

Craig (27:30.688)
Yes, exactly.

Craig (27:38.974)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (27:53.59)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That's, that's a good point, Rob. Very good point, Rob. And not only that, watch the socials in regards to the official Munzee page as well. So make sure you, if you do post anything Munzee related, tag, tag at Munzee on your, on the official post, whether it be Facebook or Instagram, whatever it might be. And then we can repost it from there and show the rest of the world that the storms are actually brewing at every single event. Storm.

Rob (27:57.002)
Watch the socials. Yeah.

Rob (28:19.436)
blood floweth from the crimson chalice. The accidents are axing everybody all over the place and this the star this know the star sirens. Well, they are just singing their hearts out. See, we got to talk about all four.

Craig (28:23.022)
She's.

Craig (28:28.492)
No, they're accidentally falling down. yeah. But the star sirens, the siren isn't a good thing to sing. Let's be honest because when the sirens occur, normally that's a tornado slash storm coming. So that's what it's about. Anyway, Rob, one more thing before we finish up. And that is that I saw it today. We record this on a Wednesday. I saw it in the war in the water cooler. It's already been done. It's already been listed. And by this time, well, time it goes live.

Rob (28:39.479)
Rob (28:43.296)
Wee-oo, wee-oo.

Craig (28:58.784)
It is in the Munzee store and that is brand new band merch Rob. Brand new band merch is in the store. Whether it's going to be shirts, there's going to be cups, there's going to be, what else did I put in there? Hats as well. Stickers and hats as well, Rob. So, Rob, I'm telling you, I'm not sure if you've seen them not. The cups look really cool because the cups themselves, they're white on the outside, but they've got the same color inside and the same color inside the handle as the theme.

Rob (29:04.618)
Yeah it is.

Rob (29:12.293)
stickers?

Rob (29:27.852)
Well, look at you.

Craig (29:28.256)
in most cases. that looks really cool. I know someone thinks that I know what I'm doing anyway. So go and have a look on the freeze tag store and you'll find the brand new band merch and get your merch today. I will say they don't look, they look like real band sort of names and stuff too. So if you wear that around like a shirt, like that around people aren't going to go, you play an online mobile game called Munzee. They're not going to know that, you know, unless they see the back and they see Munzee on the back.

Rob (29:34.313)
Yep.

Rob (29:47.926)
Don't they?

Rob (29:56.01)
Yeah. Yeah. It's true.

Craig (29:57.932)
That's the only time so. Meanwhile, Rob, we're going to move on because it's 30 minutes already. We're already over time talking about the bands. Wow. Question of the week. And this question came from Queen of Denial. that is a little, it's not really a question actually. It's a thank you. I thought I'd give you a thank you, And that is a little thank you for something I just noticed. Thank you for removing the temporary scattered ploys from the archive tab when you check online, Rob. I didn't even know this stuff existed, but anyway.

Rob (30:06.401)
Yeah.

Rob (30:13.13)
Hmm. okay. Thank you.

Rob (30:24.46)
Huh.

I, I get it. I'm the one with the question this time. And the question is, who did this? Because this post on the water cooler from Queen of Denial, I was like, what? I had no idea that we did that. We removed all the temporary scatters from the archive list. That's amazing. I love it. So I'm guessing Sam. And if so, you know, he's listening.

Craig (30:27.532)
What's yeah.

Craig (30:35.372)
Ha

Craig (30:42.787)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (30:47.532)
Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Rob (30:53.332)
Well done. And if it wasn't Sam, he's going to send us a message right now saying, no, wasn't me. But you know what, Sam, just take the credit, man. It's OK. Thank you, Sam, from all of us. That's the question of the week. Was it you?

Craig (31:02.207)
Exactly.

That's right. And he agreed with me from last week, Rob. It is a full stop, not a period. Anyway, we're moving on. Munzee tip of the week, Rob. This tip comes again from a few things that's happened recently this week. And that is, I'm going to say this, Rob, to use the Cappy Camp Hub. Now, what I mean by Cappy Camp Hub is not the map, but if you click on Cappy itself, you go to the camp hub where you can see the wishing wells, you see the map, you see the whole different things. Then click on the calendar. Once you click on the calendar,

Rob (31:11.177)
that's funny.

Craig (31:34.606)
It will show your actual calendar, like your, your, um, what do call it? Your streak calendar. And it will show you a streak calendar and make sure you click your reward for that day to collect. Now, cause you get three or four rewards every single month. Um, and they pop up as soon as I open my account, like my, my map for the first time that that pops up and then that's it doesn't pop up again for the rest of the day. And, and so I haven't played yet by the time it first pops up, I play and then I forget about it.

Rob (31:39.818)
Yeah. Yeah.

Rob (31:57.066)
Right.

Rob (32:03.34)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (32:03.37)
No, go into Cappy Camp Hub calendar and will show if you got a reward. Click on the reward because you do need to grab that reward on that day. Otherwise it's gone. It's disappeared. You never to be seen again.

Rob (32:15.468)
Do you know why people have to do this is because when we put that calendar and reward system out, people were like, I don't want to see that every day. So there's a way to hide it. And so there are a lot of players out there who don't see this calendar like ever. They have to go to the camp hub and click on it themselves. So hey, you know, enable it, check it out. That's all I would say.

Craig (32:33.385)
really?

Wow. Yeah. Yep. Perfect. Perfect. All right, Rob, that ends another official Munzee podcast.

Rob (32:45.964)
