And I haven't spoken to you off air about this yet either, Rob, but you know, we've got, you know, Bama Rama 2026 is a big geocaching mega event down here in February, you know, and of course we may have some sort of offshoot, Munzee events happening here. that may, that may include, you know, the president coming and attending as well as possibility.

One will be Brendan Giles playing at Florida Bama. Brendan Giles, if don't know who Brendan Giles is, he is a real old school, absolute rock star.

He plays at Floor of Bama. It's unbelievable. He lights his piano on fire. I saw him on Saturday night. Like he is a true blue rock star. Like he really is. And he sings all the old school songs. Like, oh man, it's a party. It's a party, I'll say that. So there's that. That's number one. And number two, for you and Josh especially, there's the Pink Pony Pub down there too. Steve? Yeah.

I know, but yeah, that's the reason why I'm in Alabama, Rob, is because I'm part of the geocaching mega event committee down here for BamaRama. And I tell you now, Rob, it's going to be a good time. There's 10, ready for this? Munzee would never do this, Rob, and nowhere else in geocaching world does this except for BamaRama. And that is 10 days of lead up events. you've got 12, including the mega event and the day after the goodbye, the farewell event.

You've got 12 days of geocaching events and most of them have two events on one day. Yes. Yeah. Yes. Right. Yeah. Mm hmm. Yeah.

That's madness. have our own Munzee madness, you know, events that are two days. And that is the original madness when, why would people do that? And we just had, we just had what mania up in Minnesota where they had three days, but seven events. Like I struggled to think of 10 to 12 days in a row of events. Yeah.

But I will say Rob, Munzee events are very different to geocaching events and anyone listening to this Munzee podcast out there would know, especially if you do coexist. Geocaching events, Rob, you just pretty much turn up and talk geocaching. There's not much to it, you know what mean? There's not really, there's not, whereas Munzee events, what I love most about them is the fact that it gets you out walking the trails. You meet friends and stuff as well and you still talk about Munzee, you still cap things and.

and play the game, but you play the game together. forces you to go out and play the game together rather than just talk about it. Do it. So there you go. There you go. And we'll talk very, very soon in regards to the month of October for what's happening with the events as well. So meanwhile, Rob, speaking of events in USA, we only had Missouri and Kansas and around the world. had the Netherlands, Germany and New South Wales, Australia and Port Macquarie. They only got the three players in Port Macquarie. I tried to push a little bit more, but

And they said, thank you to everyone for all the cards as well. there you go. Leaderboards, Rob, over the weekend on Friday, had Colecracker7, of course, 232,000 points in second place. As always, Munzee Prof, 184,000 points. Third place, FRLK, 168,000 points. On Saturday, Rob?

Well done to those. And of course, as always, we've said it in Munzee past before on the podcast, Colecracker7, 232,000.

Exactly, exactly. Learn from these big players out there. And Coal Cracker 7 is one of the, I'll say this as well, she's one of the most knowledgeable.

Friday, October 24th, brews and booze, booze and brews, whichever way you like to say it with HQ in McKinney, Texas. There's 24 listed on the Willetons there, Rob. Now too, that's a, that was a quite a jump over the last week. as I said before, the who's who was going to be there as well.

But the best part about it too is that there's two Munzee Mischief events on the Saturday and one on the Sunday now as well. So though all those event locations are live, so you've got three extra events if you come for the whole week end. And you should, if you're gonna do that time, then yeah, come for the whole weekend. On December 7th, Rob, we have Newmarket England, 28 of their, that's growing quite quickly as well, the Newmarket England, December 7th, January 9th to 11th, North Netherlands.

Three big events and it's FRLK's birthday. So have a look at that. January 16, 18 Munzey Mecca in Florida. That's gone up to 19, we'll attend now, which is good. March 6th and 7th, Munzey Madness back for the year as well. And that needs more attendees at 15. And there is another one of course for Munzey Mania, which I haven't listed on there yet, but I do believe that's September 18th to 20th for Munzey Mania. Look at that from my memory roll. Wow. Wow.

I really do. They're probably one of my favorite parts of Munzee is the social aspect of Munzee. And so yeah, I really enjoy them. I think you enjoy them too.

The Munzee events have always been my favorite part. I really enjoy getting together with players. It's where we learn how people are playing and what things they might be interested in. If you're not on your phone and talking at the same time, then you miss an out because everyone's on their phone, capping all the cards that are coming in and everything else as well. But we all still talk at the same time. It's very funny to watch from an outsider's point of view. think to yourself, these people, are they even socializing? Yes, yes we are. But we socialize in a very different way. And I find Rob as well that it's taught me to actually do more than one thing at a time. I know, I know there's a lot of ladies out there can do more than one thing at a time.

Okay, Lou was very excited because now that October has started, she has turned on the flashing lights. So you can look at the calendar. There is a pink outline that flashes and that means that it's a special Halloween event. I believe that she said to me there are 39 events on the calendar currently and

34 out of those 39 have the Halloween event package. So your chances of getting to a Halloween event if you are attending are very high right now. If you're interested in putting an event on and getting information about this, then the first thing that you need to do is choose a date. You put it on the calendar. That sends an email to you, but also to Louise.

You all get the 50 cake. So it is spread out You know what? You're not you're not

you're spreading out the financial costs of it, but you're not spreading out the rewards. We'll just say that. So if you're, if you're worried about it, yeah. And you're going to have four people attend, then why not reach out to the, the four people and say, look, let's all co-host this and we'll get it done together. And we can all reap the rewards because the rewards are very beneficial. I'll say that as well. So very cool. And the more, the more players you have, then the more rewards you get, the more players will attend your events, the more rewards you actually get. So I'm not sure again, if people knew that or not, but

Tempverts make sense to me because they're out there for 30 days.

To quickly go through the others, we've got double points on all scatters on Tuesdays and Saturdays. So it's only Tuesdays and Saturdays, but it's every single one of them, right? Pretty easy. And finally, we have double magnet strength.

What I like about this too, Rob, and that is it puts people outside their comfort zone, including myself as well. And as you said before, you're not going to hit your level five, level six in the first week. And why would you? You need to just be able to spread this out now for this month. But at the same time, I love the fact that you have actually spread it out for the entire month. So you don't have just one weekend where everything is triple points, you know what mean? And then that's it. This month,

Literally every single day you've got something new. What it also does is it allows you to start thinking again outside the box that view a normal game play. other words, instead of, as you said, Rob, instead of waiting for Friday, Saturday or Sunday to actually try and place cards anywhere near an event because it's full, then this way it allows you to place cards on Monday, you know, or any day actually over the month, you know, beforehand up to seven days of a separate cards.

to allow you to get that double points anyway. So every single day, greenies and cards are double points. Plus, if you use a booster at the time, look at that, it's four times points. So what? Straight away, it's something extra to think about, I think, Rob, and what a lot of people don't, they get into the habit, and I'm one for this too, I love it, I love my habits, you know what I We all do, we all get comfortable. Sometimes I think, Rob, that you just chuck in a thing here or two, not to create.

There are no direct badges, However, the rewards are not necessarily rewards specifically attached to capping the wishing wells. But if you're within the range of capping a wishing well, then you can redeem the stars and those stars can be used for wisps or for whittles if you have those. The other thing that is a byproduct of capping wishing wells is

And I'll be honest, Rob, again, I'm one of these people who just read up to the point where what I need, you know what I mean? If I'm a level four player, I'll read up to level four and then I don't read the rest because I think why do I need to? Well, you need to read the entire, at least scroll down the entire blog all way to the bottom. Because there's some extra tips to allow you to attain the level in which you seek for that particular month. And what I mean by that is,

you actually say in red, bold red writing, extra tips. I think the wording is, if you've read this far, congratulations, I think first and foremost, and here's an extra tip for you. And also at the same time, so after you've read that, you get extra tips, you mind start to think, okay, how can I fulfill these requirements, et cetera, et cetera. But also don't forget that you actually do receive rewards for each level throughout.

the month so in other words if you've reached level one you know by the the fifth or the seventh day i can't remember how many days it is now for for that if you've reached level one by that particular day then you get the clicked rewards you can then utilize those rewards to keep going further with your clan requirement so don't freak out about the clan wars you know it's okay it's you'll get through it everything will be fine so

Cause I did, I did actually read the last month, you know, because I thought to myself, no, I'll actually read it properly. And I read it it made me laugh when it said, if you've read this far, then congratulations. Like not many people do.
