Craig (00:01.026)
Welcome to the official Munzee Podcast.
Rob (00:03.437)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.
Craig (00:07.542)
Yes, he's back and I'm Craig also known as Seemyshell. I started as an avid Munzee player now proudly part of the team.
Rob (00:13.575)
I was going to say that too, and each week because I'm back, we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.
Craig (00:23.672)
So sit back, relax. Today's episode is episode number one. That's right. Episode number one of season four, This is going on now in its fourth year. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Rob (00:38.397)
I mean, people people didn't think we'd make it out of season one, you know, all because of me. But because of you, we've made it through two, three and now back to four. We've been renewed for a fourth season, if you will.
Craig (00:50.574)
We've been renewed. Yes. HBO or Netflix have renewed our subscription. Rob, let's just quickly address the, you weren't here last week. We, had a, I had a great feeling too, by the way. think Tim, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy did a great job on the show and really, really explained his role more, explained the fact that Munzee has now gone back to a physical game to a certain degree. If you want to, you play your way.
Rob (00:56.007)
That's right.
Craig (01:20.408)
So yeah, I think we've had a lot of great information. Have you had listened to last week's Rob?
Rob (01:26.481)
You know what? I don't always listen to a lot of podcasts, do I? So the good news is I did. actually did listen to it. I listened to it yesterday, knowing that when we recorded today, you would ask me that question. And I didn't want to be embarrassed saying, no, I haven't listened to our podcast all the other times. You know, yeah, I've heard it because they're live while we record. But yeah, I did think it was good. It was nice to hear, you know.
Craig (01:30.062)
wow.
Mm-hmm.
Hahaha
Craig (01:48.366)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Rob (01:54.511)
everybody get a little history of Minnesota boy and how this has all come about and what, for what his production and shipping is like. And, the fact that, you know, he revealed he ships every single day. Like there's something going out worldwide every single day. It's kind of cool. So, yeah.
Craig (01:56.556)
Mmm.
Craig (02:08.141)
Yeah.
Every day. Yeah. Yeah. I know. Even, even those days, Rob, you know, the whole, you know, in my day, I used to tread to school in the snow that was six feet tall. He's, he's in snow at the moment. That's almost six feet tall and he's still getting stuff out shipping too. So I don't know whether he uses these sleigh or he uses, you know, something other means of transport, but yeah, he still gets it done. He still gets it done.
Rob (02:28.182)
He makes it happen.
Rob (02:34.225)
Yeah. He gets the road clear in his little area where he that's his responsibility gets that road clear gets out onto the the rest of the streets that the city, you know, keeps clean and gets to the post office. And yeah, his other job, as he talked about. Yeah. So, yeah, good. Good for him to have filled in everybody here from him a little bit. And from me, thanks, Tim, for filling in. And thanks to you for keeping it going. But also
Craig (02:44.564)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Rob (03:04.209)
me not having the stress of trying to build this podcast into my agenda and, just having a week away, refreshing, I suppose, you know, and, some people out there, as usual use Munzee for tracking and, knew that I was bouncing a bit and, my, my captures were sporadic as a good word for it. And, yeah, so that,
Craig (03:06.456)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (03:14.669)
Yeah.
Yes. Yeah.
Craig (03:23.19)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (03:31.102)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (03:34.349)
that made it kind of told a bit of a story about what I was up to. But yeah, we had a little family cruise celebrating Lou's parents 50th anniversary. So it was very nice. Not nearly the gameplay that I would have normally had, but yeah, we all had a good time and now we're back.
Craig (03:37.837)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (03:42.944)
Nice.
Craig (03:46.926)
Nice.
Craig (03:54.124)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (03:59.342)
And those Munzee stalkers out there, of which I'm one as well, I will proudly say that, can actually see the clan that Rob, myself and Minnesota Boy are in is lacking this last month because Rob is all the way down the bottom and Minnesota Boy and myself are holding up the fort, so to speak. But that's what you do in these clan situations, Rob. That's what you do.
Rob (04:15.645)
Mm.
Rob (04:22.139)
It's true. And I suppose I should wrap up my what I'm up to, what I have been up to with. I've got two crates to complete. That's where we're at. And the good news for you is I think I need like four captures in order to make it happen. So even though it's nearly freezing here, I don't have to go far to complete my two crates. And that should push us over the top, I think.
Craig (04:28.247)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, you do.
Craig (04:44.034)
Mm-hmm.
Let's be honest, Rob, let's be honest. A nice walk, brisk walk, fresh air, sunshine does everyone the world of good when it comes to your physical and mental health as well. So get out there, mate, enjoy the sunshine, enjoy that fresh, crisp air of England, and we'll go from there. Meanwhile, mate, happy new year to yourself and all the Munzee listeners out there. Recently, this week, I met up with Old Man Trouble.
Rob (05:03.555)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (05:14.249)
Yes. And he didn't cause any of that either, which is unfortunate. down here in Alabama. And I, I only knew he was down here because, you know, you know, when you, got that, what's it called that, that local, capping feature on the app. What's that? Yeah. Yeah. Tiny. Yeah. Yeah. That's, that's the one. That's the one I saw him capping nearby and went, hang on a second. So I reached out and, and yeah, we just met up for a quick chat and go from there. So that was really cool. So.
Rob (05:14.557)
Rob (05:20.167)
Nice.
Rob (05:29.427)
yeah, the one that's at the tiny little ribbon at the top of the screen that shows who's capping nearby and the timing, yeah.
Craig (05:43.018)
old man trouble it was good seeing you buddy but saying you remember him from my words
Rob (05:48.227)
I do, do. the MHQ events, he showed up there. Yeah, so always good to see him, even if he was trouble back in the Battle of the Bards contest, you know, that was that was when he definitely fulfilled the name.
Craig (05:52.751)
yes, that's right, that's right.
Craig (06:05.227)
And he may have caused a little bit of trouble at the Texas events with Martez, but anyway, that's okay. He likes, he likes his beverages anyway. Exactly. Moving on Rob, last week, and we had only a few events in New York, Florida and California and around the world. had Norway and Japan Osaka, Japan, where I think Kevin from the Munzey Maniacs podcast visited.
Rob (06:12.113)
That's.
An entirely different story.
Craig (06:29.101)
PJ and Sarah in Osaka, Japan. those three got together. Let's see if they actually recorded together or not. I dare say that's a no, but we'll soon see. Nothing has come out as yet. Rob, the leaderboards around the world over the weekend on Friday, mate?
Rob (06:32.231)
Yeah.
Rob (06:45.085)
Friday we had Jaroslav Kas leading at 353,000, Vani 333,000 and Snickers 71 with 258,000.
Craig (06:55.533)
On Saturday, Rob, we had a millionaire. That's right. A millionaire this late in the month. was a JB 85 with 1.4 million points followed closely. Well, not really by Eagle that in Xenia with 532,000 points and then Anna banana on 258,000 points. I just want to say Anna banana rather than Anna banana. Oh, 258,000.
Rob (07:15.837)
except she was 391,000 according to the notes. But yeah, you said the line above 258,000.
Craig (07:20.511)
What did say?
300, no, sorry, sorry about that. a banana. so that's pretty cool.
Rob (07:27.421)
That looks like a Florida event production of points, is that right?
Craig (07:32.653)
except for JB, I do believe JB was traveling at the time to see family. so going through new areas in traveling time, that's what happens sometimes, you you can, you get those, those use those, what do call them, the blast and the double points captures and, also, she may have used a new vac as well. So there you go. There you go. Well done. On Sunday, Rob.
Rob (07:34.521)
well, there you go.
Rob (07:42.552)
there you go.
Rob (07:47.687)
What about our new Vax? I bet that.
Hmm.
Rob (07:56.637)
Ah, Q 22, Q 17. I tried. Yeah, two two hundred and forty six thousand Munsey Prof, two hundred and fourteen thousand and Jaroslav costs one hundred eighty eight thousand.
Craig (08:00.256)
you tried.
Craig (08:09.141)
Now, Rob, I did notice this. This has come about over the last few weeks. haven't, we haven't read out W. Helen's name on the daily leaderboard for some time. Is he relaxing maybe just a little bit to allow someone else to get up the leaderboard? Someone like, know, Cole Cracker Barrel 7?
Rob (08:30.925)
I interesting. A new a new name on the on the rollout there. We haven't seen that name really that much recently either because we used to regularly say both of those names. So yeah, I've got a feeling they're both still active. But yeah, perhaps perhaps the activity is slowed a bit. Interesting.
Craig (08:40.855)
No, no.
Mm. Yeah. Yeah.
Craig (08:50.635)
Yeah, absolutely. yeah. Absolutely active. This time of the year, Robert, everything cools down in the U S so maybe that's a possibility. Speaking of slowing down events this weekend is quite slow. We only got Iowa and Texas and around the world.
Rob (08:58.503)
But that's what it is.
Rob (09:06.341)
Well, over here in England. Yeah. Wow.
Craig (09:08.363)
That's it. three, three this weekend. So somebody's slowing down. That's slowing down. Big events though coming up. These are the ones that we're looking out for January 9 to 11, North Netherlands, three big events, FRLK's birthday. January 16 to 18. This one here is going to be bigger than normal. It's the Munzee Mecca over in Florida. It still needs more people to come. Florida, January, perfect weather. Lots of Munzees. I'm talking lots of other, we're talking thousands, if not millions of Munzees are in there ready to go.
I did notice Rob as well. Good old coal cracker barrel seven. She's building up the area with different gardens as well. So that looks really cool. She did like a jumbo jet garden. It looks really cool too. So yeah.
Rob (09:48.507)
Huh, that's cool. I wonder about that because this is such a like the event is being held in an entirely new area. Like this is I don't know if it would be considered like Midwestern Florida or what because it's it's I don't remember when I looked at it. I can't remember if it was like two hour drive from Orlando, something like that. But it's southwest out of Orlando, so even south out of Tampa.
Craig (09:59.853)
Yeah.
Craig (10:13.729)
Yeah, yeah. Yep. Yeah.
Rob (10:18.397)
So players who maybe have been to Munzey Mecca in the past, this is a whole new playing board. I know I've never been to this area. So yeah, looking forward to it.
Craig (10:24.951)
whole new area. No, Yeah, absolutely. So get there, get there. I know Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy and myself will be there. I'm not sure about anyone else.
Rob (10:38.045)
I'm pretty sure I'll be there. I still have to make a final arrangements. High pitched voice, but yeah, that is the plan. I should be there and seeing you guys. Yeah.
Craig (10:41.549)
It's only like two weeks away to say.
Then up then in February 20th, we have Foley, Alabama the day before the Bamarama geocaching mega March 6th and 7th Munzee madness. Four events, one on Friday, three on the Saturday as well over there in California. That one's starting to get ramp up now as well when it comes to gardens. So all I'll say is please, please, please allow don't build gardens for these areas. They will the host build the gardens for the areas because the hosts know the area the best. The host know
What's what's what's what where people can blast things where people can hand cap things, you know, the the hosts are there for that particular purpose So please please please refrain from building gardens somewhere You know where people are trying to sort of set up some or create a few things. I'll just say that Meanwhile, Rob September 18 to 20th Munzee mania in Minnesota and I'll dare say as I said before, know, a few of us may be there at that one as well. So
If you're a host of a growing event, please reach out and let me know. we will go from there. Meanwhile, Rob, let's get into it now because we're 11 minutes in what's happening this week in Muncie. It's been slowish because of the Christmas break. I get that, but we're coming into the new year of what's happening in the new year.
Rob (12:04.987)
Yeah, while we're out of office is not usually a great time to launch a lot of big brand new stuff. mean, yeah, that you're welcome people. We have tried to learn this lesson many times in the past. But yeah, one of the things that has happened is the mailbox has ended that, you know, the adventure calendar adventure mailbox. Hopefully everybody had, you know, some good adventures with it.
Craig (12:10.573)
Exactly.
Craig (12:23.627)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Craig (12:33.237)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob (12:34.385)
Got those caps in, got all of the rewards, has the mech to rebuild, and yeah, just a good 31 days, hopefully.
Craig (12:40.514)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (12:44.765)
Exactly. And I will say this as well. It was 31 days. I'm saying this, I'm saying this the way I'm saying this, because there was issues, et cetera, come up on the water cooler during the week. Someone said, you know, we only got one or three Zeds or something for the one daily capture. It's like, hang on, you've got 31 days of captures here and it's not just Zeds. You don't get just Zeds. You get other things as well. And always the way, Rob, that these mailboxes in terms of price to point or price to value.
is always the value is over and above well and truly over and above the actual price point. So you can't purchase what you get for the same price. If without the mailbox, I'll just say that some people have said, some people said, I can purchase these individually and no, can't. No, can't. Unless you steal them.
Rob (13:19.999)
Yes.
Rob (13:25.757)
Yeah.
Rob (13:30.363)
Yeah. In order that it's true in order to give the, you know, the value, even though some of the days may have had low numbers of ZEDs, it's the cumulative number across the 31 days of ZEDs. And, that's something that Mari and I have worked out over time where, you know, we've got an overall value and the, some of the days to give the, and you also received
Craig (13:40.961)
Yeah. Correct. Correct.
Rob (13:59.581)
The number of zeds may be a bit low, just so that there is that and you also received message on the pop-up.
Craig (13:59.736)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (14:06.973)
Exactly. But either way, a mailbox, no matter what it is, is always going to be better value to purchase a mailbox as opposed to try and get them all individually. In some cases you can't because you can't get them in if you didn't have the mailbox. That's the other thing too. So there you go. Meanwhile, Robert, clan wars for January. I'll tell you, mate, you must have done a great job again for the second month in a row with the clan wars because there was zero comments, zero complaints on the water cooler in regards to the clan war requirements.
Rob (14:19.345)
Yeah.
Craig (14:35.373)
good job to keeping the people happier. Did you just spoon feed everyone? that what it is?
Rob (14:40.157)
What on earth makes you want to jinx this for either January or February? Because, you know, what can I say? I am the game maker, the clan master, the, yeah, the, I don't know, master of ceremonies, if you will. I don't know. That's, yeah, who knows? Anyway, I try. You know that. I always try.
Craig (14:52.449)
Mm-hmm.
The MC, the MC of Playmas. I know. Yeah. Yeah.
Rob (15:05.532)
But can't please everyone, but it is nice when there's not an overwhelming number of this is the best or this is the worst because, we just.
Craig (15:10.933)
Yeah. Yeah.
It's, I will say, Rob, it is a hard and tricky balance. You've got to think about it this way. You've got players out there, for instance, who are brand new and you've got to try and keep them in the game and try to keep them sort of, you know, enjoying the game up to a certain level. But then again, you've got the big players out there as well that want the big points. They want to push themselves hard. They want to go out there and play hard as they can in order to get that level six, for instance. You know what I mean? So you've got to have that equal balance there for all people. Not everyone should get level five and six. You know, that's the other thing. And so...
You've got to be in a clan that's that your clan is happy with levels one, two, three or four and, and get from there. So I do think you did a good job over the last two months, Rob. So keep, keep it going. Keep it going.
Rob (15:55.227)
Well, thanks. Nice. Nice to hear. I can't just have it boring and make it points only because some people would literally be able to just sit back and earn multiple levels just from cap on points. And what? How's that? Right. How's that fun? It's not. So even if everyone said, it's super fun to just get cap on points, I know they'd be lying. So, yeah.
Craig (16:04.527)
no. Yeah. Yeah. Especially using cap on boosters.
Craig (16:19.37)
Yeah, absolutely. That gets boring pretty quick and it stops you from playing as much, you know. Like yourself in the beginning of this episode, Rob, you said you've now pushed yourself to go outside to cap a few physicals in order to open your crates. So there you go. Meanwhile, Rob, the Munchroom Street Bounces, what's happening with them? They're there for 2025 Bounces. What's happening with them?
Rob (16:31.165)
Yeah. Yep.
Rob (16:39.269)
Well, by the time we're listening to this, you know, and like you said earlier, happy new year, by the way. The mushroom streak bouncers will no longer be available for purchase because they were available for twenty twenty five and the good news for everyone is, know, you earn that final skin during the month of December and you're only able to equip it starting on January 1st. So we
Craig (16:44.757)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:51.222)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:02.134)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:06.326)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (17:08.173)
last year decided that we would keep those streak bouncers on the map through January 31st of the following year. the, the, all of the mushrooms, however many you bought across the year, they're all still bouncing. They will be archived on January 31st. And, yeah, the good news for those of you purchased at least eight of them, you will see a permanent mushroom that will, sprout if you will on February 1st.
Craig (17:13.694)
Mm-hmm. Yep. Yep.
Craig (17:19.147)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:24.073)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Rob (17:37.765)
Second, as we archive the current mushrooms, good for us to have that little flex time because, you know, we have to we have to make sure that all of the mushrooms are gone and archived before we give the permanent one. We've seen an issue with that in the past. So this year, let's hope so. First or second, when you see all the mushrooms gone, then you'll see that permanent one.
Craig (17:47.659)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:54.078)
Yep, default.
That's right.
Yeah.
Rob (18:07.737)
come out and then those of you who did that you'll be able to continue to use all those skins. You'll only have the one so if you want to turn the randomizer on which is an awesome little tool then go for it and we can keep seeing them.
Craig (18:08.065)
Come back from there.
Craig (18:12.866)
Yeah.
Craig (18:16.525)
There you go. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Absolutely. Meanwhile, Rob, brand new then for 2026. 2025 was the mainstream. What's happening in 2026?
Rob (18:30.397)
Well, the news is out. You know, what's the new streak bouncer? We actually asked that question a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if you remember, but, know, just a little teaser. Hey, everybody, what do you think it's going to be? Because they've been garden themed, you know, all of these times and some of them a little more lifelike than others with the garden gnome, the flamingo, the garden hedge itself, not really lifelike. That's just a tree, a plant, a shrub, you know.
Craig (18:37.195)
We did.
Craig (18:44.776)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (18:53.74)
Yeah.
Craig (18:57.521)
It was the way the hedge was trimmed.
Rob (18:59.261)
the
Yeah, that's what it was all about. So the shape as animals and things like that. But the the mushroom, you know, it took on a little bit of a life of its own. The garden glass, for example, not lifelike, just the image that was in the glass was was, you know, designed there and fun. So this year is the gargoyle.
Craig (19:08.674)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Craig (19:17.247)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (19:21.771)
Yeah.
Rob (19:27.589)
Everyone's going to have garden gargoyles looking over your garden and protecting it all year long. Can you, can you imagine the year end badge that involves all of the different gargoyles? I'm looking forward to seeing all of them, but yeah, the first one has come out and the skin that you can earn for January by playing every single day, which when you're listening, I hope that you capped on January 1st is the
Craig (19:28.134)
Chicago.
Craig (19:41.122)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (19:54.529)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (19:56.753)
Gar-Autole. So it's an axolotl form, is an aquatic creature from mostly found in Mexico. Interesting. So the axolotl as a gargoyle. That's going to be a good one. And you can earn that by playing every day in January. That will come out February 1st. So why you tell me the answer to a question. These are special.
Craig (20:01.067)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (20:06.509)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Craig (20:13.033)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (20:20.62)
Yes.
Mm-hmm. Yeah, they are.
Rob (20:25.637)
Everyone needs to actually read the blog on this one. Okay, participate in conversations about it. Let's all work together to explain what these are. They are unique. There's something new about these. What's new? See my show.
Craig (20:28.436)
read, really do.
Craig (20:35.382)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (20:40.525)
What's different about these Rob? These became a brainstorm interesting idea through the Munzee team and with the help of players as well, players like, and she doesn't even know it, Munrose for instance. And that is that you can capture these, one to nine captures is their normal bass type. Capture nine causes the gargoyle to crack like the concrete of the gargoyle cracks.
And then on Capture 10, the cracking version comes out of the gargoyle. Now what the cracking version is, is the axolotl. It's new, it's colorful, et cetera. And it sends out, this is the best part though, Rob, it sends out a co-owned bouncer. What's a co-owned bouncer, you asked? A co-owned bouncer is the person who originally owns the bouncer is still the owner of the bouncer, but also the person who cracks it open, just much like the dragons, the person who cracks it open.
It also also becomes an owner while that dragon is about dragon while that, uh, that bouncer is bouncing around the map as well. Um, it comes to a point where then it gets returned back to a gargoyle one. Um, and then the co-owning co-ownership is gone. Um, but it's just so that that time though, that it's co-owned. So people like Monroe's out there, you will be able to, you will be able to see which ones are cracking, et cetera, using the good
Cuppa Z, Sam, if you're listening, I know he does. Then you could use Cuppa Z just like you did for the dragons as well. There'd be the evolving version of dragons. Yeah, yeah. So something similar like that.
Rob (22:11.025)
the evolving versions, right?
So you will be able to possibly not at this exact moment because that would mean we'd said you can. Well, we know it'll come out soon. You know, don't expect it today, but who knows? So the way that you've said this, this dual ownership makes it sound like there's going to be multiple people to specifically dual.
Craig (22:18.465)
Yes.
Yeah. Yeah.
No.
Craig (22:32.129)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:37.459)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Rob (22:39.761)
that are going to be getting points from this. So the cap on points, for example, if you and I both own this because you purchased it, okay, and you freed it from the store, if you will, it's bouncing around on that 10th capture. I capture it and now all of a sudden I have co-ownership of this axolotl or whatever gargoyle is now points.
Craig (22:42.551)
from one data.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:59.307)
It's free again.
Craig (23:03.499)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (23:07.339)
Yeah, the gargoyle.
Rob (23:09.051)
balancing. We both get cap on points from that.
Craig (23:13.569)
That's right. That's right. Now what happens as well, Rob, is we don't share the cap on points in terms of, you know, normally it's 200 points. Say I'm just pulling points out of my backside at the moment because we don't haven't really haven't got them on the show notes numbers. Say for instance, normally 200, we don't get 100 each. Now we get 200 each. So that's how it works too. So you don't actually, you're not sharing the points, but you're sharing the love.
Rob (23:22.481)
Yeah. Numbers. Yeah.
Rob (23:31.378)
Yeah.
Rob (23:36.925)
It's, it's, it's a new idea that the team kicked around, you know, to, to take what we did with evolving dragons as kind of an experiment last year, which was fun. And, you know, it's been successful and you do have people, like you said, Monroe's that, you know, chase these things in order to get the ownership of, of that next level. And then at the end of it, the, the end of the cycle of life, you know, then
Craig (23:40.564)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (23:47.127)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (23:54.687)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (24:00.514)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (24:06.247)
then that final one is archived and then it goes back to the original format, which is owned by, you know, the Dragon Keeper, I believe, is the one that owned the eggs, unless people purchase them through crates or the store. Yeah, so this one, the players that make the additional effort of purchasing these gargoyles will be the, it will return to them.
Craig (24:15.734)
Yeah, that's right.
Craig (24:27.725)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (24:31.981)
at stage one every single time. So they'll be the ones getting the majority of the cap on points because they are the ones who put the effort, the money, the support of the company in in on this little program. So yeah, we're looking forward to it. It's a new thing. I've got to say that because it's new, there is a lot of room for confusion. There was a lot of room for confusion within the team.
Craig (24:33.879)
Yes.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (24:41.922)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (24:45.505)
Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (24:56.555)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:00.333)
Yeah.
Rob (25:00.575)
mostly on my part, let's call me the old dog. this is very much a new trick. I, I am still learning this new trick. So we've been discussing this for quite a while now. we, put together a graphic that graphic is included in the blog. I looked at that graphic many times, and had it explained to me verbally, multiple meetings.
Craig (25:16.023)
Yeah.
Craig (25:21.442)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:25.621)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:29.387)
Ha ha ha ha!
Rob (25:30.429)
And I mostly understand it now. So that's good. Everyone truly needs to read the blog for themselves. You need to absorb the information you need to get involved in the conversations where they're taking place, water cooler, discord, those types of things. And at events, you know, but mostly just get out there and try it like this. It fits into the gameplay of if you see it, cap it. If you
Craig (25:37.697)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:44.652)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:48.586)
Yeah.
Just try. Just, yeah. it? it. That's right. That's right. It's not, that's not.
Rob (25:58.459)
You become a dual owner of one of these things and you don't understand why. That's OK. You're a dual owner. You've got cap on points coming in from something that you did not purchase. But the person who did, they are going to be grateful that you kept it because they got those capital points and they're going to continue to accumulate them. Well, you're not losing anything with this new game piece. It's something new that the investor, if you will, continues to.
Craig (26:01.121)
Then go. that's okay.
Craig (26:12.353)
Mm-hmm.
That's
Craig (26:24.939)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob (26:27.919)
accumulate and earn and receive rewards from all right so yeah we hope everybody enjoys it as with many things is it a test sure is there a future sure are we going to be working that out as a team so that we can put together something even bigger even cooler even sure yes no maybe so all right
Craig (26:35.489)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (26:40.535)
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Craig (26:47.533)
Sure.
Just, just, just to let everyone know as well. And this is, this is not just for this particular gargoyle, but we do have Munzee do have an actual testing site that's separate to any other site. So this has been under testing, like the vac was under testing, like everything goes under testing before it gets released to the public. The people on the water cooler Rob that said, why doesn't Munzee test these things before it goes there? It does. It does get tested by a limited few amount of people, Munzee employees. And so.
So we have had this on testing. has gone well on testing. Does that roll across into the actual production app? 95, 98 % of the time it does. I'm not going to say 100 because I'm not going to jinx it. Exactly. Exactly. It's the same as a pinata. Under testing, it went really well. And then all of sudden, something happens and breaks some code.
Rob (27:32.989)
Pinata. Yeah, exactly. yeah.
Rob (27:43.453)
Pinata did by the time people are listening to this. Where my hope based on everything and the follow through and the extra follow through and the additional checking of the hollow through we are we are feeling confident about this one. So I don't think I need to issue an apology. But but I'm sorry just in case just in case the quiet one. Exactly.
Craig (27:54.699)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (28:00.002)
Very confident. Yeah. No, not just that. Maybe next week. We'll see. Maybe next week. Tune into next week to see if Rob apologizes. moving on, moving on, mate, to the question of the week. And this one I got from the water cooler. I know the answer to this. And I actually answered it in the water coolers role. And that is a double pop-up is happening sometimes when I capture a full tree house or a sky land. So what that means is that
You know, you say for instance, you get five, five bounces. As you go in and clear it, pops up again. The second time you clear it again, it pops up again. Like double or triple pop-up sometimes happens. Do you know how this works, Rob? I know how it works. Do you know how it works? Or do you want me to explain it for you?
Rob (28:43.901)
Well, how about if I say that I haven't read this? Players usually have the ability to come up with answers. So go on then.
Craig (28:48.115)
No, you haven't. Including me. I'll play her first. Yeah. Yeah. So what happens is Rob, I'm not sure if you've experienced it. I don't think you would have experienced this, but if you have the auto pop-up, you know, the auto pop-up on like the auto pop-up off on, if that makes sense. Pop-up dismissal. Yeah. The dismissal. Right. So you can't.
Rob (29:07.449)
Auto as in auto pop-up dismissal Okay, if that's turned on which I do not because I want to see the pop-ups so I would I would never see this okay It takes three seconds for the auto pop-up to be dismissed anyway, and by I've always dismissed mine before then so
Craig (29:15.885)
see, no, I turned it on. I turned it on. Yeah, so you would never say...
Craig (29:25.399)
Yeah. So what happens is if you've got that already enabled, dismiss enabled, then you just got to leave it go through its process over and over and over again. If, if you become someone like, you know, Rob, who can't wait those three seconds, then you start clicking the okay. Then it doubles it up. So it doesn't, it reacts the first time because it hasn't dismissed that popup the first time around. It hasn't done its job.
Rob (29:52.188)
Okay.
Craig (29:53.175)
So you're doing its job for it, so it comes back on again to try and say, no, let me do my job. So that's how it works.
Rob (29:57.425)
But this is only on tree houses and Skylands. okay. Okay.
Craig (30:01.082)
No, any bouncer, any bouncer. So any pop-up, any pop-up at all. If you don't, if you have that auto dismiss clicked on, then you leave it clicked on and you don't dismiss the pop-ups yourself. You let it actually work, do its job. But you see it more if you've got multiple bounces coming through. That's where you see it more.
Rob (30:15.697)
Well,
Rob (30:19.229)
Okay, so you and I both know that Sam listens and Sam puts together, okay, let's fix that type of assignments. So everyone can sit back, breathe easy knowing that Sam knows now and Sam is on the case, if you will.
Craig (30:24.691)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:34.121)
I just say, I just say, just don't, don't, don't, don't click it. If you've got to pop up auto dismissed on just, just let it do its job. Just let you, or, or click it off and be like Robin, I gotta be quick. Gotta be quick. Gotta be quick. Gotta be quick. And click it and manually click it off.
Rob (30:42.385)
Sam.
Rob (30:50.171)
If the purpose of turning on the auto dismissal is because you want it to go away quickly, you should actually just leave the auto off. Just leave it alone and just push it because you don't even have to hit OK. You realize you can tap anywhere on the screen and the pop ups go away. Just saying.
Craig (31:00.597)
Hahaha
Craig (31:05.001)
anywhere on the screen. Yeah, yeah. Well, there you go, Rob. That's the tip of the week then too. You've jumped in with the tip of the week. The monzie tip of the week, Rob, is if you're do a dismiss, you can click any part of the screen instead of just the okay button. The button, the okay is not actually a button, it's any part of the screen.
Rob (31:24.027)
What can I say? This is how we roll, all right?
Craig (31:25.153)
Look at that. You rolled, you rolled straight into the Munzee tip of the week, mate. Well done. Well done. Meanwhile, that ends another official Munzee podcast.
