Craig (00:00.852)
Welcome to the official Munzee Podcast.
Rob (00:03.275)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.
Craig (00:07.304)
And I'm Craig, also going to seemyshell has started as an avid Munzee player, now proudly part of the team.
Rob (00:12.441)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.
Craig (00:19.34)
So sit back, relax today, we chat about April, April, and Rob, April fools.
Rob (00:26.582)
Indeed. Me, you, all of us, some of us. I don't know. You know.
Craig (00:29.806)
one of our good friends of the podcast was the biggest fool of them all. And we'll get to that very, very soon. I love it. I love it more than you would even know. Well, actually, no, you probably do know, but anyway, Rob, what else have you been up to apart from April Foolin?
Rob (00:40.279)
Rob (00:52.239)
really just having a good laugh about that. You know, so we're, we're one of those teams that if everybody thinks back to all the years, all the history, you know, got a message from Scott yesterday saying, I can't believe it. I'm so happy that Munzee still enjoys April Fool's Day. And, you know, that was
Craig (01:00.287)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (01:06.018)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (01:15.906)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob (01:20.015)
He and I always used to have a good time coming up with crazy stuff. And sometimes we would probably spend too much time on that and not enough on important things. But, but, but yeah, this one we've been prepping for this for a bit. And, you know, we decided not to put out a bunch of different things, but anyway, we may talk a bit more about all of that in a few. I've had fun with it.
Craig (01:29.271)
Yeah.
Craig (01:41.389)
Yeah.
I was going say, let's talk about it after we introduce everything as well. So, because Rob, I've had fun. Why have I had fun? Well, you know, if anyone doesn't know, then there's myself, you, Rob, and also Tim, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy. The three of us are in a clan together and we enjoy our little clan and hopefully we get to level six. We got to level six last month for March as well. Just, thank you very much, Rob, for pulling out that thumb of yours and getting your POIs. I appreciate that.
made it. Yes. But I will say, even with Tim, that's right. Tim from Minnesota, Minnesota boy heading to two, not one, but two Minnesota events in the month of March and getting all those card points and getting all the double points and getting the bonus weekend points and lots of stuff too. Rob, I pipped him at the post still yesterday. I still beat him on the month.
Rob (02:14.031)
Baby? Made it? Made it!
Craig (02:41.558)
And I did not go anywhere. So what I'm saying is that's my nest. I've built up a nice little nest here and everyone out there, if you want to see my nest, it's very, very easy. Just literally put my name in, have a look what I last capped, go to the map area and have a look at my map and you will see mine. So it's, it's got a loop of, and my, and my nest doesn't even have tree houses at all. It's all Skyland.
Rob (03:00.635)
Yeah.
Craig (03:08.238)
So I've got a little loop of Skylands. Yeah. A little loop of Skylands around. I've got a nice little garden very close to my house as well. And a few POIs around there. I noticed Rob that the gardens themselves, they do attract the, bouncers quite a bit. So as long as you get back on the map, you know, every couple of hours during the day, you know, got a spare, a spare moment, get back on the app and have a look. Boom, there's a bouncer there in the garden. I'll pick it up again. And you know, a couple of hours later, another bouncer.
Rob (03:08.816)
wow.
Craig (03:35.094)
And you get those often and regular enough, then the points are going to roll in. I'm telling you that. So there you go. Yeah.
Rob (03:39.877)
Yeah, yeah, I agree. I don't I don't have a big Skyland loop or any of that kind of stuff because I do not drive often over here in England. Yeah, well, currently I am on the insurance so I am driving right now which has been good. But even then, I've just never built one here because of that, you know, the amount of walking that I can do. I can't put enough Skylands to matter. But there is a garden that was built here.
Craig (03:46.26)
No. There's a reason for that.
Craig (03:54.886)
Craig (03:59.683)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, that's right.
Craig (04:08.844)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (04:09.009)
you know, whenever Lou and I moved across town a year and a half ago or whatever. And so, yeah, I agree. I've got a lot of bouncers that land on that. Um, you know, even maybe up to 10 that will land across the day. There's a flat layer and a virtual layer. And so, yeah, it's nice. Uh, the people who put those deploys here have definitely seen lots of cap ons from them over this year and a half, which is good.
Craig (04:16.715)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (04:32.108)
Yeah.
Yeah, exactly. mean, in the end, other thing is take, take notice of the bonus days that we, uh, that Munzee do as well. Uh, things like the scatter Saturdays that was very popular last month. Um, you know, and therefore then put a magnet on a void, for instance, void mystery. And then you should see the scatters that bounce from avoid mystery. Cause they don't scatter just the once. Remember they scatter several times, you know, uh, things like that, or the electric traps, you know, I've got a couple of electric traps here as well. You know, back in the day, when I was back in the day, it wasn't lucky.
Rob (04:56.731)
That's right.
Craig (05:05.473)
four months, five months ago was when we did the electric eels, you know, with the electric eels, for instance, that was just show people the electric trap, you know, we're trying to educate people with how to get more points. And so, yeah, all I'll say is sorry, Tim, not sorry, beat you at the post and literally by, by like 50,000 points. it. So not much at all in comparison to Rob in third place with, you know, 2 million behind us, but anyway, that's okay. I know it's okay.
Rob (05:07.345)
yeah.
Rob (05:19.324)
Hahaha
Rob (05:32.003)
Yeah, not surprising. All I focused on was POIs for the last like four days to try and get everything.
Craig (05:36.941)
Try and get it all up in place. Exactly. All right, Rob, by the last week's events, we had Virginia, India. I always say Indiana and it's not India. is. Am I, am I right? one. said, what did I say? Give myself Indiana and Minnesota and around the world, mate. had.
Rob (05:46.692)
It is. You're right.
Rob (05:54.763)
Norway, Spain, Germany and Victoria, Australia, Australia. Yeah.
Craig (05:58.542)
And then the leaderboard, Australia, Australia, Australia, Australia. Then the leaderboards themselves, some new names on the leaderboard, which is what I enjoy. Friday, had Jaroslav Kas with 866,000 points. Followed in second place by T72, T72 on 708,000 points. And in third place, Rob, what is this name? Genderbender123456 on 680,000.
Rob (06:14.747)
Thank
Craig (06:28.301)
points. Did you say that?
Rob (06:29.841)
I don't know that name. That's a new one. And the 123456 interesting little addition there. Things that make you go home. Somebody out there. Take a peek. Saturday we had Ron SA with 1.2 million. Congrats. Lanask 1 million. Congrats. Evaldis 1 million and Zave with 1 million 4 millionaires on the day. Wow.
Craig (06:32.924)
No. Yeah.
That's... I know, I know, there you go. Anyway, on Saturday Rob.
Craig (06:58.157)
Four millionaires. And then we had two millionaires on Sunday as well, Rob. See, double bonus points. And people worry about Clan Wars sometimes. Look at the people taking advantage of the bonus points. That's what it is. Sunday, Rob, had T72 with 1.1 million points. Ron SA in second this time with 1.1 million. And Snickers 71 on 872,000 points. So some good points over the last week end. Just in time to wrap up for Clan Wars in March as well.
Current events come up this weekend. We've got South Carolina, Arizona, Florida, Iowa and Missouri and around the world.
Rob (07:36.397)
I like that you've you've kind of phonetically spelled Iowa there. I it's IA. But anyway carrying on in the world it is one in the UK one in Belgium one in Spain. Everyone else can't see the notes but I it cracks me up. That is too funny anyway.
Craig (07:50.698)
No, I know. It makes me realize that it's Iowa. IO is Iowa better than IA. IA for me is internal affairs, but anyway, so.
Rob (07:58.071)
I agree. I agree. It makes sense the way you've done it. A reminder to everyone out there. We've got the special monthly events. They have a pink highlight on the calendar. So be sure that you pay attention to that because remember, if you attend those, there is a special badge. If you attend three, this has been announced now. If you attend three across the entire year, then three different months worth of them.
Craig (08:08.354)
yes. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (08:17.356)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (08:21.237)
Yeah.
Rob (08:27.365)
then there is a badge for that. I wonder if there's gonna be one for something higher than three months. That would be interesting. Definitely 12 months, we know that because it was announced last year. So there's one for attending three different months. There's one for attending 12 different months. Let's see what happens the rest of the year.
Craig (08:28.896)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (08:33.0)
that was my next thought.
Yeah, almost an answer.
Craig (08:46.763)
was and there is one for hosting 12 different months, but there wasn't one for hosting three months. The host is an attendee. So you the attendees one because if you host an event, don't forget you actually cap the badge as well. The host themselves still cap and attend the bat attend their own events, you know, so in actual fact, they have to attend their own events. But anyway, I'm a die-aggressing.
Rob (08:51.493)
Yes. No.
Rob (09:05.168)
Yes.
true.
Craig (09:10.229)
Rob, big events over the next few months. May 23rd, coexisting in Geo Woodstock, as said, Minnesota boy from the team, he will be there as well. So if you haven't met him and got his actual team's staff badge, then see him there at Geo Woodstock. June 5th, 6th and 7th, South Coast mega events. Now when I say mega events,
You know, I thought to myself, these, these guys are very presumptuous saying, calling them, calling the event a mega event before it's actually a mega event. Well, guess what, Rob, they're all mega events now. There is over 50 Willa 10s on every single one. And so let's hope that everyone turns up for those and, and goes from there.
Rob (09:46.203)
Yeah, they are predicted mega events. The name of them is South Coast Mega. So yeah, hey, the host, the host hopes that everyone will show up. The English players or the players who come to the events in England, they are very dedicated and it is very likely. So if anyone's interested in an extra six badges, you should probably go to those events June 5th through 7th because. Yeah.
Craig (09:49.014)
Yes.
Yeah.
Craig (09:56.8)
Okay.
Craig (10:01.079)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (10:07.298)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (10:11.533)
Well, some people that are attending Rob is Sam from the team. He'll be there for sure as well. He's got a listed as a will attend. Also Rob, the number one and number two players in the world that is in the correct order. Colecracker7, number one player in the world and W Helen number two. They will both be there. I did look, cause I thought to myself, maybe, just maybe that...
Someone else like Munzee Prof might go over as well, but he's not on the list yet. So I did check. I did do my research. So have a look at those. But there's other big players that you hear on this podcast very, very often that are going to be there also as well. So make sure you go over there and see them. July 10, 11, 12 in the Netherlands. There's a few events over there. Ohio, July 23rd and 24th. Again, another coexist event with a Midwest Geobash.
Rob (10:37.371)
Yeah.
Craig (10:58.423)
September to 20, Munzee Mania in Minnesota. There you go, I said it like you, Minnesotans keep them happy. November 6, 7 and 8, this one we announced last week. Rob, the Munzee events in Las Vegas. Munzee Mirage in Las Vegas. Munzee Mirage in Las Vegas. Just like, you're going Elvis, I like it, I like it. So yeah, yeah. I will say Rob, November will come around pretty quick. So if you are,
Rob (11:05.797)
Nice.
Rob (11:16.146)
Viva Las Vegas! Why not? Why not?
Rob (11:25.734)
Yes.
Craig (11:27.083)
You know, in Australia, if you are in Japan, if you are in England or Europe, anywhere else around the world, you've never been to the U S get yourself to Las Vegas. I will say that. I'm going to talk it up, Rob, when it comes to, know, the international players. mean, you think about it, Rob, you know, if the, is it any other reason to come to an Munzee event in the U S it's going to be Las Vegas more than any other, any other place.
Rob (11:53.345)
I I think so. actually kind of mentioned this to Lou and she was like, I don't know that Las Vegas is like the main place that every international person would ever want to come. And it was like, well, maybe. I said, OK, well, what other places would you say? And and kind of a top one on her list was New York City and said, OK, you got me there. People going to New York City. That makes sense.
Craig (12:06.336)
Yeah.
Craig (12:13.164)
Yeah.
Craig (12:17.005)
Yeah.
Rob (12:18.241)
Maybe maybe some year coming soon, there's going to be Muncie in New York City, Big Apple Muncie. Don't don't wait for it because it won't be us to hosting it if it is. But anyway, yeah, I think there are a couple of other places Los Angeles, another good example. Los Angeles is only a three hour drive from Las Vegas. So it's a very easy extension if people were coming over and you know, yeah.
Craig (12:23.149)
Yeah.
Craig (12:28.456)
No, no, no.
Craig (12:33.165)
Of course.
Craig (12:43.115)
That's right. That's right. But also you gotta remember if you're to host events in Los Angeles, Los Angeles is a three hour drive to drive three miles too. So you've got to be careful of that. Brenda, I'm sorry, Brenda. I'm sorry. But also Rob, I was thinking with New York city, you know, we do have some, a good Muncie player base as well in upstate New York area, up in the North, you know, that way as well.
Rob (12:50.929)
Oh yeah, is a good point. That is true.
Rob (13:06.415)
Yes. Yes.
Craig (13:09.665)
You know, maybe just maybe they, if they wanted to sort of pop their way down as well to New York city and start setting up something big for 2027, reach out, let me know. you know, and like any other team or people out there, if you want to start a big event, let me know as well. But one more to mention Robin January 14, 15, 16, 17. That's right. Four days Munzey Mecca in Florida, five events, four days, nice and spread out. I do like this Rob too. I'll say this.
Five events over four days rather than five events in two days because you do five events in two days, you're literally at an event and an event and an event and an event like over three, especially three events in one day. That's a lot. Whereas five events, four days, allows you time, free time to go around and get all the gardens. You know, it allows you time to go out and have some, meal, a nice meal and...
and experience other things apart from Manzi. mean, I don't know why you would, you know, it'll get you, enables you to go around and collecting all the cards that people post out as well. So, so I do like that. Well done to the Florida team, five events, four days. All right, Rob moving. Yes. Yes. Yeah.
Rob (14:07.117)
Yep.
Rob (14:12.143)
Hey, there's one thing one thing on that exact note is that some of the the things that the Europeans do that kind of kind of balance this out because I know that they did it in Budapest. I know that they've done it in the UK as well. Pretty sure that they do it in Germany, even the Netherlands, because everyone walks a lot more. As you know, they creatively.
Craig (14:19.756)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (14:28.685)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (14:34.328)
yes, yes, yeah.
Rob (14:39.407)
tie their event locations together with event pins so that it is literally like everyone go and walk the event trail and you know hang out at the event the first one and then okay now's the time for us to all go and do this because the second event is going to pop up and those are going to activate and conveniently they are going to be located from the end of event one walking you down a path in order to get to event two there's cards and gardens along the way
Craig (14:41.324)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (14:54.733)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (15:03.807)
I'll-
Rob (15:09.209)
It's very creative. yeah, it's a it's a build the events your way map and world out there. So yeah, I agree, though, spread out across multiple days so that everybody has time for all the things. I agree. It is fun. Yeah.
Craig (15:10.477)
Yeah.
Craig (15:17.141)
Mm hmm. Mm hmm. Yeah. And also play the... Yeah. Yeah.
Craig (15:27.725)
But I do, I do understand that as well, because you said the Europeans, especially in England, when I was over there as well, I noticed that you don't really drive that much to be honest with you drive to location and then it's all, it's all public transport. It's all on foot, know, that sort of thing too. So, uh, yeah, I did notice that as well. Um, we did have a tip before we move on as well. We did have a tip come through in regards to Las Vegas, Rob, if you're going to Las Vegas. And I've said this tip several times on different podcasts, especially my travel podcast as well. And that is, you go to a new.
Rob (15:39.663)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Rob (15:49.964)
really?
Craig (15:57.25)
big city like New York City, London, Las Vegas, LA, get the hop on hop off bus ticket. You can then jump on and jump off at this bus all day every day, you know, and cap as you go along freely without the worry of traffic. The more traffic the better when it comes to Munzee capping, let's be honest, if you're a passenger. yeah.
Rob (16:18.577)
That's a good point.
Craig (16:21.185)
Hop on hop off bus is the ideal way around big cities to capture all those moneys. I did that several times, especially in England as well, Rob. So yeah, and utilizing the VAC, it'll be so much easier. So, but remember VAC has only 100 captures and then you have to activate another one. So don't be, don't be worried about it. All right, Rob, moving on. As we said, we did say quickly now, April fools has come about. It was funny.
Rob (16:31.428)
Nice, yeah.
Rob (16:36.43)
I agree.
Craig (16:49.353)
I enjoyed it. There's one person that didn't enjoy it, but I enjoyed it even more because of this person. This person, namely PJ from the Munzee Maniacs podcast. Now, if you didn't see on the watercolor PJ, he put up the photos, the screenshots of the sepia color that the screen turned. He deleted the app. He reinstalled the app. cleared his cache itself. He did all the things he was supposed to do. He did.
He did exactly what you were supposed to, exactly what we tell everyone to do before they send in a support ticket. He did all the things, everything, know, phone on and off and all that sort of stuff too. And then he sent in a support ticket and then he wrote on the water cooler in which someone pointed out, yeah, it's April Fool's Day. so I, and the best thing about PJ is that he, he mentioned it all and he was a great sport about it. But I was saying this now publicly, it could not have happened to a
Rob (17:41.295)
Yeah. Yeah.
Craig (17:45.729)
better person in my opinion. So there you go PJ.
Rob (17:49.115)
For him to be the first person posting about it was particularly entertaining. do agree with that. Man, it went off in a fun way where this, you know, this kicked off for a 24 hour time period based on player location. localization is what it's called. And so everyone had 24 hours of this being active.
Craig (17:55.457)
Ha ha ha ha.
Craig (18:08.258)
Mm-hmm.
Mmm.
Craig (18:18.786)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (18:18.863)
as opposed to it running on the image queue clock. So different than the game. So hopefully those who didn't enjoy it, you, you found the setting where you could turn it off. Yeah, that's, that's it. If you suffered through 24 hours of your map being a very few shades of brown.
Craig (18:28.257)
Hahaha
Yeah.
Rob (18:45.593)
like being thrown back into the 1920s basically, may what are gonna do? We hope that everybody noticed that Cappy from the cap from the camp hub changed. became pie eyed is what we call it back into the again like the old 1920s cartoons and stuff like that. There was a special badge that was available. All of this was written on the blog. So for those who don't read the blog, this was where you should have all that you had to do was cap
Craig (18:48.097)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (18:55.046)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yep.
Craig (19:02.797)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (19:07.595)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
I will say Rob-
Rob (19:14.839)
a single shooting star from the Daily Stroll on April 1 MHQ time in order to get the badge.
Craig (19:16.149)
Yes. Yes. Yeah.
MHQ time. That's right. So that's MHQ time. So yes, the, uh, the April fools joke went live locally. Uh, so, know, that sort of thing, but if you read the blog closely, um, you have to do the daily stroll on MHQ time. It's back to MHQ time. therefore, you know, it re it reacts to the way it normally does. And then post out your badge from there. Rob, I've got my badge this morning as we speak, cause we, we're recording this on April fools. And so, uh,
Rob (19:49.957)
Yep, me too.
Craig (19:51.054)
I got my badge already, mate. That's the first thing I did was my daily stroll. I got seven stars, you know, so that was good. I was happy with seven stars. Uh, when you do your daily stroll, don't forget as well. can use other boosters on your daily stroll. When I say other boosters, I'm not talking about the back. can't use the back on them. No, no, no, no. I'm talking about the, uh, the radius booster. I'm talking about your Rover treats, you know, those sort of things as well. You can use those sort of boosters to capture the ones that go a little bit outside the area. Um,
Rob (19:55.523)
Craig (20:20.363)
You'd be surprised, Rob. If you capture one with a Rover tree, you'd be surprised. Sometimes it comes back to you, the star itself, and you cap it for free the next one. So it happens sometimes, but then you go. There you go. All right, Rob, moving on to the April bonus days. The April bonus events have been published well and truly before April, keeping everyone happy out there. But don't forget the third to the fifth. That's right. As you listen to this is April 3rd to the fifth mailbox owners only.
Rob (20:31.313)
I know, I know.
Craig (20:49.633)
Greenies, cards, flats, evos and mysteries. Also, every Monday is Mech Monday and every Wednesday is Weapon Wednesday. So that may reflect into the Clan Wars. Like what, there's weapon points in the Clan Wars again? What? How dare we do things together? That's unheard of, but anyway.
Rob (21:02.289)
What? Wow! How bizarre.
Rob (21:12.091)
I agree. I agree. Who knew? Who knew that we could organize it like that?
Craig (21:16.766)
Exactly. All right, moving on now, let us know about the pack rats. The last six of the pack rats come out. Tell us about that.
Rob (21:23.033)
Yeah, so series one pack rats ended earlier this year, January, I think. And so we put those bouncers out so that anyone could purchase those. So they are available in the online freeze tag store. So those are the bouncer forms. And then we also have released them physically. So there are six new personal munchies that you can purchase also in the store.
Craig (21:36.119)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (21:39.746)
Mm-hmm.
you
Craig (21:49.697)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (21:50.755)
And then if you do that, don't forget to have that Nexus. So you attach them to your Nexus, which is the cap one Munzee in order to cap all the personals in your collection. It is a great tool.
Craig (21:56.34)
Yes.
Craig (22:01.548)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:05.855)
And it is a literally a one button click Rob as well to attach the Nexus to touch to attach. If you get all six of them, you can attach all six with one button click.
Rob (22:14.189)
Absolutely. It was built well. It's a great tool.
Craig (22:18.473)
It is, it is. And, and, and it's still available in the, in the freeze tag store as well. And it kept him busy. That's a hashtag. Keep him busy. Very cool. Very cool. Yeah.
Rob (22:27.979)
that hashtag. That's a good one. hey, speaking of keeping Tim busy. We just re entered the coins into the freeze tag store. This isn't even on our notes. It just was reminded like click and just went in my head. Yeah, because Tim and I chatted about it yesterday. You know that I gave him all the coins, which is a lot of coins. Back in January in Florida, he flew home with them. He counted them. That took a while.
Craig (22:38.301)
Hmm? What? What? No.
Craig (22:47.531)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Craig (22:56.045)
Because it's Jim.
Rob (22:57.253)
And yes, yeah. So well, he needed to know the accurate count instead of eyeballing it like I do. So anyway, they've been re-released in the store. We haven't done any updates to coins in the game. However, they're like, you know, I'm I'm always wheels are spinning all the time. So let's move on. Plan requirements came out for April.
Craig (23:03.744)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (23:10.966)
No.
Craig (23:16.716)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
They did. did. Thank you. I will say, I will say, you know, I did, I did take heed about people complaining about the, I look at the numbers last month and all that sort of stuff as well. And they were, they were, they were like that for a reason. I wanted to see who actually reads the full on clan wars and actual numbers. So they're back to round figured numbers for everyone as well. Rob, I will say that there's not really any much talk in the water cooler, which is good.
Rob (23:23.929)
You did a good job. Let's just talk about those now.
Craig (23:49.73)
That's good news. means everyone's happy. If there's no talk, it's everyone's happy. But I will say this, that is watch out for the team points in the higher levels, level five and six as well. You will see team points are greater than normal in those. And let's say this as well, Rob, let's have bigger teams. You know, if you've got four or five in your team, you can have up to 10 people in a team, in a clan. So get together with other clans, other four or five and bam, there you go. You got your actual team. It's more about the teams, these clan wars in the bigger levels, in my opinion.
Rob (24:19.013)
Yeah. I agree, too. I mean, if you want to be if you want to do solo clan war, cool. Good luck to you. If you can make it to level six. Awesome. You must have limitless things like like the three of us on the team do, because that's the only way that I could ever get it to get to level six was just the ability to go mass deploy, go and, you know, blast as many times as I wanted to. So anyway, the
Craig (24:19.021)
What do you think about it?
Craig (24:26.293)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (24:37.599)
You
Craig (24:42.775)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (24:46.1)
and get over with.
Rob (24:47.939)
Yeah, the thing that we recommend obviously to everyone is partner up, you know, don't have don't have a plan with three people when there are clans that are looking for. Hey, we want three people to join us. Like, why not go and join them? I know I know people get particular about their own communities, and that's perfectly fine. If that's what you choose to do, then you know, it just it limits you to lower, lower levels. But that's okay, too.
Craig (24:52.865)
Yeah.
Yeah.
Craig (25:00.021)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:07.243)
Yeah, absolutely.
Rob (25:16.081)
It is okay to just play up to your own personal level or your clan's level. We recommend it as a matter of fact. I recommend not putting stress and pressure on yourself over a clan's. I definitely do. No.
Craig (25:20.141)
Exactly. Yes. There is no need for that. Um, and, if you're thinking to well, I've got a team of three, but how do I get more people into my team? Then there are, uh, Facebook app, uh, Facebook apps. There's Facebook groups out there as well that want to look for more clan members. So look up Munzee clan on Facebook and you will see the actual Facebook pages out there.
and posted that page saying, we're a team of three or four, whatever. And we're after another team of three or four. Let's get together for this month of April. But as we now listen to this, you got to do it today because it's the third. So it started. you have to have done it today, if not before. So, or get it ready for, you know, moving forward into May, June, July and the rest of the year. So there you go. Moving on Rob to the Munzee Monthly Moments. This one here as new month has come by and new topic to come out.
Rob (25:59.919)
Yeah.
Craig (26:17.097)
Last month, I will say great response as well. Good amount of people, good amount of players. And thank you all to who voted for your winner out of those three. They were three fantastic people as well. So very, very cool indeed. This month, the month of April, no more funny business. It's very plain, very simple. Cap a POI and show the POI. But Rob, you think about it, know, yeah, you can obviously just go to your local park or whatever or a beach.
and go, okay, I'm screen record. I'm capping the beach and here's the beach. That's it. That's okay. You know what? That's going to get you a badge and that's going to get you a card. What's going to get you further and a possibility of into the finalist. If you do something a bit more out of the box, Rob, think outside that square, know, you'd like maybe utilizing the POI and show yourself utilizing that POI. Just an example. And I'll leave it that. So there you go. Think, think for yourself.
Rob (27:09.605)
Yeah. I mean, if people have interesting POIs, an interesting place, like you used this not just for the points, not just for the glam requirements, but you used it to actually draw someone to a cool location. Like, hey, take advantage of that. I agree. I can think of something that I would do. Yeah. There's, there's a couple of rounds here. Yeah.
Craig (27:15.061)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (27:25.879)
Yeah.
Craig (27:29.313)
Yeah. Yeah.
I know exactly. I know one thing you wouldn't do Robin, is you wouldn't go to a hairdresser and POI cap the hairdressing POI and then get a haircut because you don't need one. But anyway, moving on.
Rob (27:42.285)
Hey, listen, the one the one here is called Rapunzel extensions. So I can think of something that actually would be very funny. And it is not for you say that. Hmm. I got you. Wait, wait and see.
Craig (27:50.573)
You
Craig (27:57.1)
Okay. If that's the case then Rob, I'm going to put the gauntlet down. is you sir need to supply me a Munzee monthly moment for the month of April. There you go. I'll wait for it. no. All right, Rob, moving on to the quick Munzee question of the week. And that is, what is the next event that we may see Rob or Luat? This came from the water.
Rob (28:05.169)
I should have stopped talking. Man.
Rob (28:15.729)
well, that's an interesting one. Isn't it always interesting? I wish that I had an answer for this, but I actually don't. I mean, it's April 1. Most of you know that I don't exactly plan all my things out long, far into the future. We have
Craig (28:17.079)
Yeah.
Craig (28:23.725)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (28:34.777)
lose cycling calendar that we deal with. have my traveling and hers and various other things and boy in Florida and all the different things. Plus, I've got to, I got to do some other stuff coming up that you know about, but everybody else doesn't. anyway, I'm really not sure. But we've got team members.
Craig (28:37.025)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (28:41.207)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (28:45.023)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (28:54.822)
yeah.
Rob (28:59.621)
That will be out there out and about you've already mentioned that Sam's gonna be at the ones in England I'm not sure for us what's happening there quite yet. We still got two months Yeah, Tim and may gonna be at Geo Woodstock. So yeah, watch for watch for all of us Don't just worry about me and Lou. I mean, you know, everybody else is actually cooler. Yeah, that's true. That's true
Craig (29:01.622)
Yeah. Yeah.
Craig (29:12.043)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Yeah, we've all got badges. We've all got badges. We've all got badges. So, all right, Rob, moving on. We're going to end with the Munzee Tip of the Week or the Toxin Tip of the Week. This is the last one from Toxin. So if you're listening, Toxin, I know you do, buddy. I need more tips, Give me some more tips. I like your tips. We all like the Toxin tips. Toxin Tip of the Week. Day to day, I save my 10 filters I use all the time to the server. Then at events or special days,
Rob (29:27.544)
Yes.
Craig (29:46.478)
I create a day specific filter and don't save it to the server. You can then kind of double up your filters. See? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Rob (29:55.025)
Ow.
This this again is one of those like thinking games, you know, where yeah, we certainly wouldn't have have thought, here's what people will do, because you're going to lose that the you're going to lose it if you don't save it. But it makes sense because you actually don't want it to stick around. So so a filter specific for last month for scatters.
Craig (30:10.761)
Yeah, no.
Yeah, that's the idea, because it's not the end of the day.
Nah.
Rob (30:25.243)
for scatter days, know? my goodness, wow. This is, yeah, there he is again, toxin, well done.
Craig (30:25.429)
Yes. Yeah. Filter specific for the bonus weekends as well. Like this weekend, for instance, have a filter for greenies, cards, flats, evos and mysteries only. Especially going to an event. therefore you're capping just those ones as well. See, so things like that. Well done. Toxin tip of the week, Rob. And that ends another official Munzee podcast.
Rob (30:44.059)
Brilliant.
Rob (30:49.947)
