Craig (00:00.726)
Welcome to the Official Munzee Podcast!
Rob (00:03.209)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee
Craig (00:07.582)
And I'm Craig also known as Seemyshell I started as an avid Munzee player now proudly part of the team and I'm tripping over my words.
Rob (00:13.757)
Indeed, each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.
Craig (00:22.35)
Sit back, relax, drive your car, enjoy yourself for the next 30 minutes. We have you because spring has sprung, Rob. It is now spring here in the Northern Hemisphere I'm talking about and it's autumn in the lower. Yeah.
Rob (00:31.655)
and D.
Rob (00:37.335)
It is. It is. That is true. I mean, as we record, I'm sitting here in, you know, one of my, oh, man, I feel like I'm back in Hawaii shirts. I'm wearing shorts. This is amazing because not only has spring sprung, but we we just got the first day of summer for the whole year here in England. It's 75 degrees. I'm actually going to sit outside because this is amazing. And then tomorrow it drops 20 degrees for the high. It's going to be back in the 50s for the next two weeks anyway.
Craig (00:44.686)
You are.
Craig (00:57.688)
Whoa.
Craig (01:05.518)
I was going to say, Robert, you say it's the first day of summer in England. I put it to you. It's the first day of summer for the next hour and a half.
Rob (01:13.809)
Yeah, that's a good point. It started off very, very chilly this morning and through as we made it to noon and for the the four hours after that, rising quite nicely and then a sharp descent, where the the high temperature for tomorrow will be as we get to midnight and it just needs the decline. weather chat.
Craig (01:19.534)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (01:30.615)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (01:35.982)
Well, Rob, I've got some information for everyone out there as well. If you didn't actually know there, I'm not sure what it's like in England, but in Australia, we don't go off the solstice here in America, you go off the actual solstice, summer solstice, and you go, and that's the date in which your seasons change. Not in Australia. In Australia, they change on the first of the month. So the first of September is the first day of spring every single year. see, first of December.
is the first day of summer every single year. So that's how it works. Like on the first of the month and it's September, it's December. It's like every three months. That's it. It's just around the month.
Rob (02:14.699)
And the weather subscribes to the seasons in that way. It's like, okay, cool. Here we go. Wow.
Craig (02:19.022)
Absolutely. It does the weather does subscribe. It's Australian weather and it's like, you know, okay, we can conform. You know, that's the way it is. So no one gets confused about, know, when's when spring started? Well, first of September in Australia. So that's not the case in England.
Rob (02:34.743)
no, the, not with the different parts of England. No, it is not. yeah, I, I figured that one out. It, it goes, it comes and goes in waves. I think that's probably the best way to explain it. Yeah.
Craig (02:36.212)
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Mm-hmm.
Craig (02:45.912)
Fair enough. Fair enough, mate, fair enough. Anything else that's been happening in your particular side of the world?
Rob (02:53.611)
You know, I've been, I've been enjoying Munzee and, you know, using the vac did a little moving around over the last couple of days. But you know what the focus of that movement wasn't really about Munzee. was actually about painted rocks. And Lou and I have been having a little bit of fun on the painted rock side. This isn't the painted rocks podcast, but I will tell you that.
Craig (02:59.212)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (03:05.036)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (03:14.434)
yes.
Mm-hmm.
I
Rob (03:22.369)
that we've we've been putting a little bit of effort and having some fun. had lose brother and his family over last week for a couple of days, Easter break. And we were just talking about painted rocks app and our sister in law is very artistic. She's a teacher, she's a musician, she's she just loves all the arts really.
Craig (03:29.902)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (03:46.411)
turns out she's really very artistic in terms of with paint and rocks. She's made some really good ones. And, and so she decided she's going to make a cute food series, and then come up with creative names, and then a description and a background backstory for the rocket self. And they are hilarious. And I wish there was a way that I could share them with everyone easily. But yeah.
Craig (03:51.8)
paint. No.
Craig (04:00.645)
Craig (04:06.836)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (04:14.379)
That would be, that would be really cool to actually have a rock that's painted as a food type, you know, like, you know, a cucumber, zucchinis and squash and pumpkin and actually have them displayed in your garden. And therefore that's a rock garden. See, look at these coming out. Wow. Yeah.
Rob (04:15.969)
worth.
Rob (04:20.215)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (04:28.983)
She made a taco, a piece of pizza, a fried egg, a donut. The donut's hilarious and their descriptions are great. So we may put some of those out on the painted rock social. Yeah, but anyway, we've been having fun with that and especially with the weather getting a little bit better. It helps.
Craig (04:46.829)
I will say to Rob, I hope you heated up those rocks nice and hot before you put them in your bath. If that's a correct, that's a correct. Go check out the painted rocks social media on any of the channels. Mostly I think on Instagram, think painted rocks does a lot on Instagram as well. So go and have a look at it. It does have for those don't have Instagram. That's okay. It does have every other social media like Facebook, et cetera, as well.
Rob (04:54.155)
yeah, that's one. That's a nod to the social media. Everybody go check it out.
Rob (05:08.342)
It does.
Craig (05:15.585)
Go and take a look and you'll see Rob's ugly mug next to a really nice printed painted rocks. And you see you describing the bath area. And when I say bath, mean bath in what, what is that in England? Where's bath in England, bath in England. you go. So, mm hmm.
Rob (05:22.059)
That's true.
Rob (05:27.797)
England. Yeah, yeah, not too far from where we live. was nice. It was a little quick trip for for that really. Yeah, and nice heated baths. But speaking of heat, what have you been up to?
Craig (05:39.918)
There you go. knew you, I knew you look at you segue. It's like you just jumped on that and ran with it. Um, I've actually been building out a smokeless fire pit, Rob, uh, in the backyard here. Um, and I've started up a new ish, a new ish YouTube channel. It's called Shelby Homestead, S H E L L B E E. Homestead. Uh, so Shelby, and what it is, it's a, it's a nod to myself, see my shell.
Rob (05:43.575)
You
Craig (06:08.309)
And, and my partner here, JB 85. And so it's Shelby Homestead. So, yeah, there you go. A few things have been happening on the channel. There's some chickens and some ducks and all of the stuff and some gardening as well. And that's when I, when I talk about the painted rocks, you know, we'd love that in our garden. That would look really cool. Yeah.
Rob (06:13.695)
Well, alright.
Rob (06:25.931)
I think that could be pretty cool. I don't understand a smokeless fire pit. think the smoke itself is sometimes more like, the fun part and also the annoying part, I guess, because you do come away smelling like it. I'm going to have to watch your channel to understand, I suppose, what a smokeless fire pit does or how to make one.
Craig (06:31.373)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (06:37.689)
yeah. Yeah, exactly.
Yes, you will. Yes, you will. Basically, a quick information of it is that the smoke goes up, it only goes up to the top of the actual fire. And then the heat, the hot air that has risen around the edge of the fire pit, basically comes out and ignites with the smoke and therefore burns the smoke off before the smoke gets outside the actual fire.
So it's very technical. It's very technology, you know, high up there in terms of technology and ideas and stuff, but it, you know, I'm hoping this thing works and I'll soon see, after I build, after I finished building it out. But anyway, that's what I've been up to. Meanwhile, the rest of the world, Rob had Munze events last weekend in the USA. There was South Carolina, Arizona, Florida, Iowa, and Missouri and around the world.
Rob (07:28.919)
And then we had in the UK, Belgium and Spain.
Craig (07:33.485)
Nice. Leaderboards over the weekend, Friday Nutty Nan with 612,000 points, followed by Finder 400, 518,000 points and a new name I do believe Robin, third Bright Cat for 512,000 points on Sunday, Saturday, mate.
Rob (07:51.127)
Saturday names we know very well. VadoTech with 700,000, Marley Van CT, 685,000, and Eagle Dad Indexing at 627,000.
Craig (08:03.117)
For those of you who don't know, Marley Fancy Tea and Eagle Dan Xenia is a couple, lovely couple from Florida as well. So good work, Gary, letting your wife beat you for the day. So very good job, mate. I suppose he probably doesn't have a say in the matter, but anyway, Sunday, mate, Sunday we had Juppie G with 620,000 points, followed by Poppy Juppie with 591,000 points, and then FRLK with 551.
thousand points. Robbie can tell when the when the USA events was on on Saturday and then the UK events were on on Sunday.
Rob (08:37.547)
Yeah, you've got UK, UK Friday, Saturday, us and then Sunday. Netherlands I think is where those three are. Yeah. So it's pretty impressive. Fun how we can see that you're right though.
Craig (08:40.599)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Netherlands. there you go. So yeah, very nice. It's very cool. This weekend though, in USA, we have Nebraska, Texas, Minnesota, California, Missouri, Florida, and New Hampshire. Rob, New Hampshire. Rob, there's a new one in New Hampshire. So there you go.
Rob (09:02.151)
Wow. Hey, I think I know who that one is. All right. Good times. Bandy rooster. Cockadoodle doo. all right. Around the world. We have three in British Columbia, Canada. We've got one in Ontario, Canada, England, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, and Victoria, Australia all have one.
Craig (09:16.151)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (09:23.853)
Nice, nice job. Nice job. And don't forget everyone out there. Don't forget the pink highlighted events are the ones you need to get for your monthly streak. So, either hosting or attending, and get those monthly streaks. Cause remember there's already a page out there for three, for three of the, the events. So if you get to three of those pink highlighted events, over the course of each month, one per month, then, then you get an extra badge as well. Very cool.
Big events coming up, we'll screen through these Rob. May 23rd, coexisting with the Geo Woodstock, June 5th, 6th and 7th, South Coast Mega Events in Poole, Southern England. well, over 50 events there so far. And so go there to see Sam from the team. What'd say?
Rob (10:08.407)
attendees. Yeah, even though you knew what you meant. You said 50 events, but 50 attendees saying they'll be there. That's true.
Craig (10:13.165)
Oh, 50 attendees. Yeah. Six, six events, 50 attendees. Also don't forget the number one and number two players in the world, retrospectively, Colecracker7 and W Helen will be there as well. July 10, 11, 12 in the Netherlands. A few events over there. Ohio 23rd and 24th for Midwest Geobash. September 18 to 20, Muncie Mania in Minnesota. November 6, 7, 8, some Las Vegas. I've got to say come up with something.
Rob (10:18.519)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (10:37.653)
Yikes.
Craig (10:42.919)
Vegas events, Rob. You know how I say Muncie Manning? going to say, I needed to say something for the Las Vegas. VIVA LAS VEGAS! there we go. That's the one. People will not like me singing. I'll you that tip right there. January 14, 15, 16, 17. That's right. Four days, five events. Muncie Mecca in Florida. Flow Rider. So there you have it, Rob. There all the big events coming up. And as I said, always every single week.
Rob (10:48.129)
Just Viva. That's it. I sang it last week. You sing it next this week. We'll rotate
Nope.
Craig (11:10.283)
If you do have a big event or would like to host a big event, reach out to me and we'll have a chat from there. Meanwhile, Rob, let's talk about this week in Munzee. What has been happening, Rob? First and foremost, is there anything happening this weekend for players out there?
Rob (11:23.349)
Well, let's see. April 10th through 12th. We're back to double points for everyone. Remember that we had the mailbox running and so there were I think three weeks worth of mailbox only double points and those ended last weekend. So April 10th through 12th, we've got double points for every player on greenies, cards, flats, virtual colors. That's all of them. And
Craig (11:39.084)
deal.
Craig (11:46.22)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (11:51.374)
hang on, zodiacs?
Rob (11:52.247)
Jules and Zodiacs. So, huh, Zodiacs?
Didn't we seem crazy? Didn't we? We'll talk in a few minutes, won't we, about why you had some good thoughts on clan requirements and why we, as a team, had some good thoughts about April 10th and 12th about Zodiacs.
Craig (12:01.633)
I and this
Craig (12:08.841)
And there you go.
Craig (12:14.579)
There has been chatter. There has been chatter on the water cooler, Rob, in regards to the Zodiac points requirements for the month of the clan wars. And most people have said like, wait till this weekend. You know, use your boosters, use your deploy boosters and deploy some at event locations or deploy them at event locations now if you can get into them and then use your cap on boosters as well. You see, so that's how people have been saying the Zodiac points up pretty
pretty quickly, but there's one other way and we'll speak about it very, very soon. Meanwhile, don't forget as well, there's Mech Mondays happening every single Monday this month and also Weapon Wednesday every single Wednesday. Double the Mech deploys on Mondays and double points on plan and secret weapons every single Wednesday, Rob. So don't forget about those midweek ones too. So for those people who work weekends only and can't get out for the weekends, we have them covered, Rob, see? Nice job, nice job.
Rob (13:08.193)
we do or at least we try yeah
Craig (13:10.733)
We try, try a darnedest, I'll say that. Rob, a new, a new mech hit the store this week too. What happened with this new mech?
Rob (13:17.975)
Well, let's see the dads of Sir Wood Forester, Sir Mechs of Sir Wood Sir Dads, I don't remember what they're called, but we've got a new one, a new dad joke mech basically. So this one is Sir Tan Mech and Sir Tan looks like a golfer. So he's got a nice tan going on. Yeah, as usual.
Craig (13:30.056)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (13:35.788)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (13:39.765)
Yeah. He's, he's got a, he's from Scotland. So he's got a tartan skirt as well. So it's very cool.
Rob (13:48.735)
Yeah, it's the jokes are plenty. So if you haven't looked at it and read the jokes, please, please do because multiple members of the team have such a good time writing the things up and the art that goes in, we just have a good time.
Craig (14:00.214)
I know.
I was going to say the art, the art is phenomenal as always. Well done, Andy. but have a look. These are actually in store now as well. When you do purchase these for $7 50 in store, therefore you get the actual mech and then you get the blueprint as well. So you can do these with cogs later on as many times as you like as well. If you love the certain mechs. so you get that and you get the blueprint.
Rob (14:22.475)
Maybe even on Monday to get double? I mean, get a bunch of these out there. Hey, that could be cool.
Craig (14:26.401)
There you go. Get a bunch of them out there. That'd be cool. I'd like that too. I like that too. Meanwhile, Rob, something else that came out surprisingly straight after Easter as well. We decided, you know, give Craig a little rest when it comes to building out the BVG's and not just that, but also this one looked really, really cool. And it's our very first player built BVG, Rob. Tell us about the player built BVG.
Rob (14:49.238)
Yeah. Yeah. So we've got a player by the name of Matasu that built a garden, an Easter themed garden. was an egg with a duck or a chick inside it. Chick. Okay. Thank you. Cause I couldn't remember for sure which of the tiny animals it was. So yes, they built this garden with absolutely zero plans of it ever being something that would bounce.
Craig (14:57.165)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (15:03.063)
Chick, chick, chick.
Craig (15:14.593)
Yeah. Nope.
Rob (15:16.689)
chose a good location for it. it was filled. was filled a while back. they built it on cup of Z gardens, obviously, which is the, the, garden building location of choice for all Muncie players. so yeah, they built this one. I w we just, we were having some chats as a team and it was like, what if, what if, what if we started looking at some of these really great designs and, and instead of,
Craig (15:18.892)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (15:24.46)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (15:28.135)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (15:37.741)
Mm.
Craig (15:43.436)
Yeah.
Rob (15:45.431)
making Craig do all the work, we just go, the players are good. They're really good. We usually have been running gardens that are around the 200, 250 deploys. We just kind of found that that's a sweet spot for interaction, I suppose, as players and also the number that are available to buy. So we put this one out as a surprise.
Craig (15:48.181)
Yeah. Yeah.
Craig (15:56.695)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:04.138)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:10.626)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (16:13.431)
we know that some people would love to have this information in advance. sometimes we do. And sometimes we don't in particular, we haven't been whenever it's a single one. So apologies to any that missed out on it. there were 160 pins in this one and it did sell out within a couple of hours, which was nice. and, so then I was actually able to make it live, just a couple hours later, which was great. So thanks to Matt Sue for the, for the plan.
Craig (16:25.549)
Yeah.
Craig (16:36.705)
Mm-hmm. Not. Mm-hmm.
Rob (16:43.079)
and the design and also for responding to multiple messages that we sent asking for permission to use the design. I suppose what we could do is we could just put a disclaimer like if you put a design in Cup of Z Gardens, we might use it for our own purposes at any point in time in the future. We haven't done that. So we felt like it was a good idea to get permission. thankfully, Matsu said yes, I believe I'm a Polish player.
Craig (16:43.181)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:49.264)
Ha
Yeah.
Craig (17:00.845)
for at any point in time.
Yep. Yep.
Rob (17:12.759)
if I remember correctly. Yeah, so anyway, thanks to them and thanks to everyone who deployed in one. I think we're gonna have some coming up soon. They might be for a special reason and they're not coming up like this week or next week, but coming up soon. So everybody stay tuned if you missed out on this special one, we may have a couple of other special opportunities soon.
Craig (17:13.389)
Oh, there you go. Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:37.053)
More. More will be coming and Mattis our well done mate. will say he's not fully from Poland, Rob. He's only Polish. Oh, I know. I to, had to say, I'm sorry. I had to say it. So again, going back to the dad joke, the certain max, that's what it is. That's what it is. Um,
Rob (17:45.31)
okay.
can I say?
But it might be a thinker for some people.
Craig (17:55.456)
Meanwhile, we know we know Sam listens to this show and he's listening right now. He's actually written notes already Rob about you saying about the disclaimer and the, and as we, as I talk now, the disclaimer is probably already in cup as they say, there we go. I know, I know Sam, I know him too well. Thank you, mate. yeah, no, well done to Matt. Again, as I say before, Rob, as always the garden builders out there as well. do love a good garden, out and about.
Rob (18:06.903)
Thanks, Sam.
Craig (18:19.725)
One thing I will say as well don't forget the Garden of the Months as well while you're out there planning your gardens have a look at the Gardens of the Month and try and pre-plan for those coming up in months to come because they do need to be filled before we can actually select them as the finalist on Garden of the Month. All right Rob, this is what I've been waiting for. Something happens now with the Celtic Zodiacs. What's happening with the Celtic Zodiacs?
Rob (18:35.157)
Yes.
Rob (18:46.903)
aren't we excited? This is the part everyone where we can explain just a little bit about why why? Why weren't there zodiac requirements again this month for clam requirements? Why did we put them in for the 10th through the 12th? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Well, it's because we had this plan and we've been working on it for a bit. Celtic zodiac mobs have been released and really, it's not just a mob.
Craig (18:49.709)
Mm hmm.
Craig (18:59.505)
Ha ha ha.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (19:09.686)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (19:17.047)
Cause we're starting it off with here are some of these that are owned by the month, a Munzee account. Um, but you as players have the ability to own a T pop to release a T pop. Um, and also then to grow and release your own player owned bouncer that is Celtic Zodiac themed.
Craig (19:23.191)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (19:39.18)
Wow. Just for the new players out there, if you're listening and you're brand new, a mob is a Munzee owned bouncer. It's a bouncer that's owned by Munzee. A T-POP is a temporary player owned bouncer as well. why, Rob, what you're talking about, these ones here, these new Celtics, well, they're not new. They've been around for a while now. If you've already deployed a few of these Celtics, what do have to do to get yourself a T-POP?
Rob (20:01.813)
Well, let's see the way that it is done. Let's just take the Celtic cat, which is a popular one as an example, and understand that what we talk about here applies to all 13 of the Celtic Zodiac designs. Okay. There's a bunch of them. I'm not going to list them all. Let's just say Adder, Swan and Wolf. I remember those three. There you go. All right. So that was alphabetical order of three that I could remember. But the cat.
Craig (20:07.723)
Yeah, it is. It is very popular.
Craig (20:14.763)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (20:23.511)
There's a lot.
Craig (20:29.057)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (20:31.095)
Once you have deployed 25 Celtic Zodiac cats, you're going to automatically have a Celtic Zodiac, a wandering, the wording and the naming is actually important on this because we went back and forth on it. You're going to have a wandering druid cat automatically deployed on your account. Okay, so for every 25 deploys.
Craig (20:35.981)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (20:46.455)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (20:54.601)
You
Rob (21:00.375)
There are some people out there who really love the Celtic Zodiac cat. Let's say they have 52 already deployed. Upon launching this, we deployed two of these wandering druid cats on their account because they already had 52. So 25 gets one, another 25 gets two, another 25. So when they make it to 75, that's three. When they make it to 100,
Craig (21:04.781)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Craig (21:17.195)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (21:22.433)
Get to know them.
Rob (21:30.347)
fourth one is going to be deployed. But there's something special that's going to happen at 100 deploys. They're going to get the next level. And it's not temporary. It's permanent. That's right. Just by deploying 100. Now, is that a lot? Yeah, yeah, it is. It's quite a few, right? It's quite a few. But the good news is we've used these as rewards for years.
Craig (21:36.908)
Whoa.
Craig (21:41.739)
What? wow! A free permanent bouncer?
Craig (21:52.117)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah.
Rob (22:00.247)
for clam requirements and secret zeops and all the different things. So anyway, you get an eternal druid cat when you make it to 100 deploys and that one is going to be a permanent bouncer. It's never gonna leave. So it is a, a POP, a player owned a bouncer, uh, the bounces around forever. Now all of the points, we're not going to talk about all the points, um, because the, the details, all the details are in the blog.
Craig (22:03.69)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:10.594)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:15.479)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (22:20.834)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (22:30.455)
but there is one detail that is important. These are going to land on their corresponding Celtic Zodiac. So the two different types, the wandering druid cat and the eternal druid cat are both going to exclusively on Celtic Zodiac cats. Yeah.
Craig (22:38.038)
Okay.
Craig (22:49.613)
Celtic cats. Oh, wow. So if you don't have, so Rob, what you're saying then, if you don't have all 13 of these around you in your, or like classes of my nest, then get them around you, uh, either by trading with your fellow clan members, trading on the water cooler, or you could even, even though you can't cap your own physical, uh, own virtual Munzee, uh, own virtual Celtic cat or Celtic zodiac the first time.
You can cap it when a bouncer lands on it, remember. So even if you have them and you deploy them for yourself as landing pads only, therefore you more of a likely have a chance to do that. So all 13. Wow.
Rob (23:20.887)
Yeah.
Rob (23:26.039)
Mmm.
My, my, my. Did did did you did you just hear someone out there yell, yell at us while listening to the podcast? Why don't you just build a garden and let everyone else deploy for it around you in your nest? They called you an idiot. Did you hear that? That's rude. That is rude. I heard you and you think we can't hear you through the speakers. We can. So anyway, you're right.
Craig (23:35.735)
Who... Who was it?
Craig (23:40.429)
this is true. This is true. I did. did. Yeah. Yeah.
Craig (23:53.929)
Yeah.
Rob (23:56.843)
people could deploy or build gardens and cup of tea gardens. And then everybody start using that trade some of these because if you've got a stockpile of any of the Celtic Zodiacs, why you don't need to sit on a stockpile anymore. Craig has graciously given you a reason through clam requirements to get them deployed. Those of you that were waiting for the, the eight through the 10th.
Craig (23:59.476)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (24:03.628)
Yeah.
Craig (24:09.964)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (24:19.329)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (24:23.895)
Congratulations, you've chosen the correct time to do this because you're gonna get those double points. You're also going to start accumulating toward 25 or 50 or 75 or 100. We're gonna start giving you special teapots and pobs all for doing that. Wow.
Craig (24:30.338)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (24:42.763)
I will say Rob, I did speak to a, the X that's right. The former number one player in the world, W Helen at a recent event as well. And he said, I mean, yeah, he does have a couple in stockpile, different types, but he's the one that actually said to me, Munsies collect dust only when they're in your inventory. They do not collect points unless they're out in the wild. So unless you're the deployed, they don't collect points. And that's what, that's what the whole point of Munsy is getting your points.
Rob (24:54.567)
Hehehehehe
Rob (25:04.822)
Wow.
Craig (25:10.711)
So, it is.
Rob (25:10.943)
It's that a lot of people like to collect the dust because they know that we're pretty specific on the clan requirements. And so that's the reason that I've always tried to really spray the requirements all over the place. You've come in and done the same thing. We like to give lots of variety because we know that people, some people like to sit on these and wait. so you are right. to, to wrap up on two other small points. One of them is.
Craig (25:19.757)
Craig (25:25.205)
Yeah.
Craig (25:35.895)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:39.373)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (25:40.791)
In order to make sure that there are some of these out in the wild now so that people can start seeing them on their different Celtic zodiacs, we've deployed 100 of each eternal druid. So an eternal druid cat has been deployed on capping the unicorn's account. And then that way there are some that will be bouncing. Why is that important? Because we've also enabled the magnetize
Craig (25:46.092)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:55.435)
Craig (25:58.861)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Rob (26:10.891)
feature for Celtic zodiacs.
Craig (26:10.966)
What?
Rob (26:16.767)
You're not guaranteed.
Craig (26:17.057)
I wonder who's going to be, who's going to be the first, who's going be the first to get all 13 caps of the, yeah, that would be interesting.
Rob (26:22.675)
Of the ooh of the eternal druids. That would be interesting. I bet someone could build a tool to track that. So the Celtic zodiacs are magnetizable, which is great. The only thing that lands on them is not the eternal or wandering. Those are not the only things. There are other types that have always been landing on like the Celtic zodiac cat has always had different things that have landed on it.
Craig (26:29.485)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (26:44.659)
Mm-hmm. okay. Yes. Yeah.
Rob (26:52.417)
So do not make the assumption that you're going to get the wandering or the eternal druid form just because you use a magnet. You will get up to three or up to four depending on premium status. All right, so there you go.
Craig (26:54.282)
assumption.
Craig (27:00.979)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (27:07.269)
Exactly. There you go. And then one more thing, Rob too, out there. If you don't, if you don't have any Celtic Zodiacs in your inventory and you'd like something, you want to grab like a few, uh, to place out in the wild to get your number up to 25, et cetera for 25, there's 25 % discount in the store as well. And that's until this Sunday. I know. Look at that.
Rob (27:26.962)
What 25 % discount while you're trying to build up to 25, check your inventory, see how many you've got. Now is the chance to top up your inventory and get one of these wandering ones out there or build all the way up to that eternal. We think this is gonna be fun. This is recycling and using some of the art that we have and bringing these pieces back in.
Craig (27:32.652)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (27:43.617)
Very, very cool.
Craig (27:49.004)
Yes.
Rob (27:53.631)
and creating new life with them because we do have a lot that are deployed, but we know that there are a lot in inventories. Hope everyone enjoys.
Craig (27:53.634)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (27:57.966)
That's right. One more, one more thing I will say, Robin, there are a few players out there that, know, don't like to, you know, don't want to spend any money, but love the game just as much as anyone else, you know? And, I've got a few friends like that. This here, they're the Celtics themselves and not going to be stopped from giving out as rewards. I will say that. So they, still have those as clam rewards. We'll still have them. I like Rob, I gave some out in the recent Munzey Monthly Moments, rewards as well. So, you know, if you want a chance of that, jump in and grab.
Rob (28:16.789)
Right. Yeah.
Craig (28:27.565)
Uh, give us a, a video, um, and you've got a chance of winning some more on the, on monthly, monthly moments. There's rewards inside the game with your daily ZIOPs, et cetera, et cetera. So they will not stop. So what the, what I'm saying is you don't have to go out and purchase any of these at all. You don't have to do any of that at all. Just keep on playing the way you play and slowly you will build up the amount that you require for you 25 and you get a free temporary and bounce. So then a hundred and you get a permanent bouncer for free. That's how that works.
Rob (28:39.991)
Perfect.
Craig (28:55.883)
Meanwhile, we're going to move on now to the Munzee question of week. Are you done with all those? I think we're done with the Celtics. Yeah. Do you want the question, Matt? The questions are, it's about daily strolls. Yeah. So they said, they said that they love doing the daily stroll. They enjoy doing the daily stroll, but in the last round of community credits, you know, the voting that we did, it was the highest vote to have the stroll edited in some way. Is there any news on the editing of this daily?
Rob (29:00.117)
Maybe. Yeah, I think so.
Rob (29:06.113)
Probably not, but go on anyway.
Rob (29:12.223)
okay.
Craig (29:25.331)
stroll
Rob (29:26.945)
First, get out of our internal team chats. Whoever is asking this question because yes is the answer and it's almost like someone knew that this was happening. I bet it was Sam anyway. Yeah. well, never mind then. OK, yeah, I we are working on this. It is actively happening. Mari and I chatted.
Craig (29:35.181)
What? Wow. Wow. It was an anonymous anonymous to me. yeah. Yeah.
Craig (29:52.183)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob (29:56.383)
yesterday. And we were talking about what we're looking at how it's going. I asked her, is there a timeframe attached to this? And then we both agreed that the answer is not yet. So we are
Craig (29:57.421)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:01.399)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:06.689)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:10.933)
Not yet, not yet. It's still in the process, but it is in the process, Rob.
Rob (30:14.675)
We are seeing things being built. We are in some early stages of testing. Everyone agrees this should be well tested before it is released because this is a big deal. The Daily Stroll is a free component to every player around the world. We have made it a big deal for two years since we launched it. It will continue to be a big deal. This will continue to be the free thing that you can do. We want it to be better. We want it to be something that people enjoy.
Craig (30:17.261)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:21.459)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:31.981)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Craig (30:41.229)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (30:44.363)
But we also need to make sure that it meets kind of the requirements of the reason that we built it. We do want people active, I would say. the, you know, we just, we're just gonna, we're just gonna do some good testing. So I'm pleased with the way that it's going. I think it's looking awesome. You've seen a few things on it as well. And I can say for you, you also seem to think it's pretty cool.
Craig (30:51.628)
Yes.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (31:01.27)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (31:06.029)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (31:11.915)
Well, the other thing that people don't realize either, Rob, is that there's several different ways that this can go in terms of the testing values and what we do. And so we're testing every single aspect. We're testing, what if we try it this way? What if we try it this way? And then what if we try it this way, for instance, you know, and we're having a look at the different directions in which this can travel and how it can be implemented in a way that most people will like it. Not everyone's going to like it. No matter what you do,
You know, you can give away a free, you know, red virtual to every single player and there'll be one player go, Oh, I like blue. So not everyone's going to like it, but in saying that we want it to represent majority of the players. And I think personally, I think personally, Rob, the majority of the players are going to like any of the changes, either one of them, whichever one it may be. Um, I have my own personal favorite, but that's just me. anyway.
Rob (31:53.587)
I agree.
Rob (32:01.207)
Mm-hmm.
What if choice became a thing? And I'm just going to leave it with that. I'm going to say we've got top talent on this task, top talent on the task. And there you go. Good answer, everyone. I must say it was an excellent answer. Next.
Craig (32:09.517)
that's too much. Wow, okay. Wow. Mm-hmm.
There you go. Exactly. Yeah. Next, we're going to end this episode, Robert, it's a late one with the Munzee Tip of the Week. And the tip is going back to the Celtics and that is, can you magnetize the Celtic? Normally no, but now you can, so give it a go. I know, right? I know. Look at that. I don't have any more of the toxin tips. So toxin, if you're listening, give me some more tips.
Rob (32:37.521)
Let's go! Hey, that was a rhyme! Wow! Love it.
Craig (32:47.733)
That was a, that was a see my shell tip, not a toxin tip. You can tell the difference between the toxin tips are very intricate and very detailed and very mindful. mine are just and helpful and minor just, you know, basic anyway, Rob, there ends another official Munzee podcast.
Rob (32:50.359)
That is true.
Rob (32:55.425)
helpful as well. Yeah.
Rob (33:01.803)
Thanks for joining us on this Munzee adventure.

Keep scanning, keep discovering, keep the Munzey spirit alive. One, two, three, Celtics for the win. see, I Celtics like basketball.
Rob (33:18.513)
Zodiac on! I lost my train of thought. I was thinking about what to say. I got confused.
