Craig (00:00.866)
Welcome to the official Munzee podcast.
Rob (00:03.246)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.
Craig (00:07.315)
And I'm Craig, also known as Seemyshell. I started as an avid Munsee player, now proudly part of the team.
Rob (00:12.849)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.
Craig (00:19.768)
So sit back, relax and chat today, Rob, we're gonna chat about the end of May, but more importantly, the beginning of June and happy birthday. It's too early for me.
Rob (00:30.291)
So all the way into July, we're talking June and July. This is gonna be fun because that's right, birthday month is July. And yeah. You got so excited about it that yeah. You know, what you can do. Yeah. Go Sam Sam loves it when we start off with a whoopsie right off of the bat. Doesn't he? Don't you Sam? I know you do.
Craig (00:34.76)
that's right. I thought
It's July. I I I I did. I did. I did. I did. I and I should know these things.
Craig (00:51.182)
It was it it was my whoopsie, but you corrected it so Sam doesn't have to. So there you go. dear.
Rob (00:57.097)
Well Sam Sam Sam just sits and waits and and it's like he's our leader. He's just got this little scoreboard and he's just keeping track of of correct and oops, you missed that one and yes, you corrected that one and I I can't imagine what his what his board looks like where he tracks all this information, but it's gotta be fun. We keep him we keep him on his toes.
Craig (01:07.243)
I know, I know.
Craig (01:18.361)
And
I can just imagine as well. He's he's sitting there in front of his computer and he's listening to it. And every time there's a whoopsie or whatever, he presses pause straight away. He presses pause and then starts typing away. And then presses play again. And then you correct it and then he presses pause again and he deletes it. So yeah, that's exactly what he's gonna do. But Rob, I'll tell you now. I'm I'm in a bit of you know, my mind's a bit fuzzy and then hazy at the moment because I've been I've been building some new things here on the homestead and we're gonna have two brand new additions. I'm not gonna say what, Rob.
All I'm gonna say is I'm gonna say tease we've got two brand new additions. If you want to see more, go to the YouTube channel Shelby Homestead, S-H-E-L-L-B-E-E, not B-Y, Homestead, and you'll see some new additions coming up this week, Rob. So there you go.
Rob (02:06.025)
Exciting times. Whatever it is, it's out in the sunshine 'cause look at your face. You have picked up a few rays this week, haven't you, now?
Craig (02:09.772)
Yeah.
Craig (02:15.946)
I have mate, I have. I was I was we so
We don't normally we're talking about Myrmunsi and stuff as well. And and there's been a lot of rain here in the south part of Alabama. And so it didn't rain yesterday, and so I got out and made the most of it and you know, getting out to make the most of it in the humidity as well. I was sweating as I walked out the back door without even doing anything. Anyway, building different things here and there. But Rob, more importantly, inside, we've even got more quail in the incubator again now, too. So there you go. Yeah, I know.
Rob (02:26.067)
Yeah.
Rob (02:45.651)
Well there go. Nice one.
Craig (02:46.88)
I know. The older girls they're out there, they're out in the in the quail hutch now that are built. And so the brood is empty, so we thought why not get some more? So Quail quail math is a real thing, it's the same as chicken math. Meanwhile, Rob, you you sir are not like bright and and rosy like me. you must be still in you in England or where are you?
Rob (02:56.211)
Why not? It's
Rob (03:01.341)
Did it.
Rob (03:07.363)
well, you know what's crazy? I am in Texas. However, the weather in England was hotter yesterday than it was in Texas. It was the hottest day in May ever on record in England. And our temperatures ninety-four Fahrenheit and it was thirty, over thirty, something right there in that neighborhood. Hottest day in May. And
Craig (03:10.57)
Yeah.
Craig (03:14.264)
Yeah. Yeah.
Really?
Craig (03:21.341)
Craig (03:25.634)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (03:33.037)
Yeah.
Rob (03:34.927)
I couldn't have chosen a better time for that specific day to not be there because as as everyone knows, because I've talked about it so many times, like no AC, that's not for me. Man. so so instead I'm sitting here, I'm I'm out riding my bike, I'm doing, you know, some stuff. I've got a little bit of Munzie testing that's still going on, getting some chasing some stars and doing some of that kind of stuff to
Craig (03:47.761)
yeah.
Craig (03:56.6)
Yeah.
Craig (04:02.509)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob (04:05.021)
To test it all out, looking at these cruisies and making sure that stuff's all still working well. clearing up some fields that my dad has left untended, I suppose, of fields of Munsies that is, for three plus years because they've turned pink. so yeah. Replacing, yeah.
Craig (04:11.405)
Yeah.
Craig (04:19.359)
I was gonna say, yeah, yeah, yeah.
with the cruisies and and not the sleeps but cruisies as well, yeah. The physicals. Exactly. Exactly.
Rob (04:28.903)
Yeah. Replacing some stickers that he and I put out back in like twenty twelve, which is crazy. Some of our our lunch spots that we go to or whatever. Torchies Tacos, there was one that that he'd put out, we'd put out back in like twenty twelve. and and back then I was writing funny little things about ones at potbelly sandwiches and how my dad loves to come here and he gets a potbelly from these sandwiches and he's like, man, so yeah.
Craig (04:34.477)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (04:38.701)
yeah.
Craig (04:46.337)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (04:59.999)
saying that that's that's that's some good memories there Rob you know you literally you've left you've left your you know some good memories there for for future and you obviously you had a good laugh with your dad about it yesterday too so there you go. Yeah, yeah exactly. And just for information, did you say it was ninety four in Texas?
Rob (05:00.193)
the phone.
Rob (05:10.184)
Yeah, yeah, it was fun.
Rob (05:16.074)
in no, not here. That was in England.
Craig (05:18.045)
England England thirty is eighty six. So ninety four you're looking at thirty one in England. So there you go. Thirty one, thirty two. Yeah.
Rob (05:23.173)
yeah. well it was hot. It was very hot and even Lou was like, It is a bit too hot. Wow.
Craig (05:29.949)
I was gonna I was gonna say you said 94. I'm thinking 94 was 30 is only 86. So any anyway, we're digressing, Rob. Let's get into Amunzi itself and we're gonna talk about the last week events. There was two one in New Hampshire, two in Kansas, of shit, the Gia Woodstock, and one in Florida and around the world, mate.
Rob (05:36.091)
Okay, well then
Rob (05:50.755)
Around the world we have British Columbia Canada, Finland, Croatia, Austria and Western Australia.
Craig (05:58.772)
Very, very cool. Now, I can't believe it, Rob. I can't believe it. The leaderboards, Friday, first place. And we haven't said this name in way, way, way too long. First place on Friday was W. Helen with 905,000 points. welcome back, Bob. Welcome back, mate. In second place was Demick with 695,000 points. And in third place, we had Trista 74 on 499,000 points on Saturday, mate. We had some millionaires.
Rob (06:13.669)
Welcome back
Rob (06:28.081)
On Saturday, look at this, it's all millionaires. We've got a few, and that's because of that good old Geo Woodstock coexist event. We're starting off with the winner, Dragons West 1.4 million. Then we have Danielle 41101 with also no, there we go. Daniel 41101, Candyman9505, and Nesmuk.
Craig (06:31.307)
Yeah.
Craig (06:34.837)
Correct.
Craig (06:47.742)
Okay.
Rob (06:53.597)
All had 1.1 million. I got lost and confused. I do know how to read. And then our fifth millionaire of the day was Hi Dude with 1 million points. Yeah.
Craig (06:57.181)
Exactly.
Craig (07:03.435)
Yeah.
Some new names come there too, but I do I do love I do love second place with Danielle 4110111011101. I don't know why I say it that way. I just like saying her name that way. Sunday, mate. We had we had first, second, third on Sunday. No millionaires though. Maxwell Q with 860,000 points, followed by in second place, Gravity Bear, 648,000 points. And then in third place, a very brand new name that I haven't mentioned before with 628,000 points, and that's sweet mother of God.
Rob (07:12.528)
Yeah.
Craig (07:35.469)
How's that for a name? How's that for a name? So it reminds me of of what's that that movie? I should know the movie now, it's just it's gone out of my head. The Super Troopers. Super Troopers, sweet mother of God. So there you go. Must be a super troopers fan. Yes. Yeah.
Rob (07:35.721)
Some of these names. Yeah. I love it.
Rob (07:48.741)
They could possibly have pulled it from that. Yeah. I wonder wonder who that is. But yeah, several several new names through there. yeah, part of that because of that Geo Woodstock event. and you know, when it travels like it does every year to different corners of the US and bounces all over, then it allows some of our players who are locals there to get more points, whether it's through their their capons or because they are able to attend that event.
Craig (07:59.778)
That's cool.
Craig (08:03.83)
Yeah.
Craig (08:07.701)
Mm. Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Craig (08:18.765)
Mm.
Rob (08:21.145)
So, real quick before we move on, surprise question to you. Do you know where Geo Woodstock is gonna be next year so that we can all prepare for it? really? Yikes.
Craig (08:24.587)
Yes.
Craig (08:29.993)
Louisiana. Yeah, Louisiana. It's in Louisiana. It's only two and a half hours away from where I live. So yeah, it's not bad. I'm gonna be driving there. There you go.
Rob (08:37.053)
Hey, that's not bad. So I'm sure there's already gardens that are starting to pop up. I believe it's Baton Rouge, is that right? Yeah. Okay. Well everybody, start looking at it. Watch the calendar. I'm certain someone will be putting a an event on for that one. And who knows, maybe Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy. And his brother Gravity Bear, who knows if they'll be there again next year. That's that's who came in second on Sunday.
Craig (08:44.429)
Well
Baton Rouge, yeah, yeah. Baton Rouge in Louisiana.
Mm-hmm. Yep.
Craig (09:01.005)
Yeah. I dare say they they should be, Rob, but I will say this as well. Again, and that is
Rob (09:06.953)
So congrats.
Craig (09:12.223)
When we when people travel to these big events, for instance, you know, they're not just going to get munsies only at the event location. They're going to be staying in hotels and Airbnbs and they're going to be traveling around. They've got to get meat somewhere. They're going to, you know, you the other places to be apart from just the event at the event time. So spread out, you feel free to spread out those munsies as well. So if you can't find a spot literally on the the pin in Baton Rouge, spread out a little bit. Have a look at the one of the other main roads, and I'm sure it's going to get the same sort of
caps as it would if it was at the event itself. So there you go. But speaking of events, Rob, this weekend, 'cause it's the end of the week and and beginning of next month, we're looking at in USA mi Missouri. Huh? Missouri's the second one.
Rob (09:45.117)
Absolutely.
Rob (09:55.101)
No. I don't know what you wrote, but the MI is Michigan and the second one is Missouri.
Craig (10:01.663)
Michigan. That's what I said. I said Missouri, then I was gonna say Michigan and Indiana. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I was gonna do backers because I I stuffed up the first time. So there it is. My second one for the second one for the day, waiting for the third. Anyway, Rob, you can't stuff up the around the world. What's around the world?
Rob (10:06.04)
okay. So you were gonna do backwards. I got it. Go on then.
Rob (10:11.985)
Of course, very good.
Rob (10:19.503)
well, after Michigan, Missouri and Indiana, then you can go around the world, you can head over to Switzerland. It's written out for me, it's nice and easy. Yeah.
Craig (10:26.241)
Switzerland. There you go. Nice and easy. Switzerland. I'm gonna have to shorten all the international countries for you. Anyway, don't forget the pink highlights themselves are the special events for the event streaks as well. Now the big events coming up, again, I'll go through these pretty quick. In June itself, five, six, and seven. This one needs some more people, I will say that. And it surprised me. This one here, the numbers are very quite low for the South Coast mega in southern England. no, they're not I'm thinking about the wrong one again. There's my third stuffer.
Rob (10:32.893)
Go on.
Rob (10:56.483)
you you you were serious. I'm sitting here smiling like, you're setting this one up really well where you must have
Craig (10:56.493)
This must.
Yeah. No. No. I should there's my there's my third because I saw I saw the number six and events and I thought, hang on a second. So yeah. Anyway, I'll get back to it. June fives June five, six and seven. South Coast Mega Six events in Pool, Southern England, with over seventy will attends now, including Sam from the team, the number one and number two players in the world, Colecracker Seven and W Helen will be there as well. So there you go. I sh I should literally
Rob (11:09.469)
That's wow. The next line. Read the next line.
Rob (11:26.025)
Those those numbers have gone up over the last week to jump up over seventy, just so you know. Like there are more people every week saying, Okay, I'll be there w as it w as it grows. Well done.
Craig (11:29.727)
Yeah. Yeah. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. July ten, eleven, twelve in the Netherlands, Ohio in July twenty third and twenty fourth, Munsey at Midwest Geobash. Now they coexist. September eighteenth to twenty twenty, Munsey Mania Minnesota.
November 6th, 7, 8, Monzo Mirage in Las Vegas. Five events, three days. again, one of those events, though. I like this too, Rob. One of those events is actually one of the monthly streak events, too. See, so if you need your monthly streak event in November, that's the place to be. Event locations have been updated as well. I think I said that before. So start to deploy now. Meanwhile, January 14, 15, 16, 17, that's right. Five days, four days, five events. I just can't read today.
Rob (12:00.73)
very good.
Rob (12:16.985)
Mm.
Craig (12:17.973)
Manzi Mecca in Florida. Five events, four days. If you're a host of a growing event and haven't noticed, please reach out to me. I'm just gonna have to read from now on. I'm not gonna have to add a lib. I'm just gonna read it.
Rob (12:27.507)
Yep. We're gonna put yours as a script and mine is gonna be notes where I can, you know I can just free flow, but not you. Well it depends on if you fry your brain in the sun again next Tuesday before we do this on Wednesday.
Craig (12:35.243)
This is what's going on in my head.
I think that's what it could be. That's what it could be. That's what it could be. Anyway, Rob, let's jump into the actual real ducks guts of the show. And that is new cards were released last week. there was the cats and the dogs cards. Now, Rob, this this one here, we remember we kind of let the cat out of the bag a week early, you know, a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, yeah, we did. Yeah, we did. That was that was another one of my mistakes. geez, wow.
Rob (12:58.825)
Yeah, we did. Yeah. Yeah.
Rob (13:04.593)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (13:05.569)
But Rob, I was thinking it got got me thinking, 'cause all the chatter the water cooler and stuff about it too, it got me thinking, I wonder if we have more cat lovers out there or dog lovers out there, in terms of the players. I personally think the cats outdo the dogs when it comes to this.
Rob (13:21.191)
The cat lovers are definitely louder. that's what I would say. As far as communication in the in in the water cooler and everywhere else, they they make some noise when they see cat things popping up. So yeah.
Craig (13:24.462)
yeah.
Craig (13:29.899)
Yeah.
Craig (13:34.707)
You know why? I've just realized why Rob. And that is 'cause the the cat lovers are inside with their cats and just got nothing better to do than typing on a computer, whereas the dog lovers, they're outside walking the dogs, getting all the physicals and the greenies and the cruisies.
Rob (13:37.001)
Why is that?
Rob (13:49.013)
my, that nearly sounded like an insult, but don't worry, cat lovers, you know. w mm I've got there are two cats here in the house. my parents love cats. Trey has a cat in Florida. you know, I I I fit more into the cat category. However, I do enjoy dogs too.
Craig (14:01.173)
Mm-hmm.
We got two cats we've got two cats here. We've got two cats. We've got two dogs. currently fifteen quail. thirteen thirteen chickens and a rooster. Two ducks as well. And two other things coming on the way.
Rob (14:12.595)
my god.
Rob (14:16.199)
Yikes. A partridge and a pear tree, I think I heard. Yeah. Yeah.
Craig (14:20.727)
Pr pretty much, pretty much, yeah, exactly. So but no th I thought that was interesting, the the the cats versus dogs. you know, and and no no disrespect to those cat lovers out there, Brenda. I didn't mean anything by it. Meanwhile, Rob, the gauntlet games, the gauntlet games requirements have also been released. Now these w before you when you see them and people go, that's new, or what's that all that's that's a lot of points, or that's that's too many of those things. Just remember they line up nicely with
Rob (14:31.561)
Tofu girl.
Craig (14:50.731)
The bonuses for the month as well. So yeah, yeah. So that yeah. Mm hmm.
Rob (14:53.149)
Yeah. We certainly do try. We put those bonuses out, you know, middle of the month and let everybody know and then start thinking, cool, how do I, you know, plan for some of this for next month? And if it's building some gardens around you or it's, you know, just making sure that you have some of a certain type in your inventory so that you can get those bonus points. then you and I sit, we look at it and we're like, Hey, how do we how do we, you know, get
Craig (15:05.154)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (15:12.493)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (15:18.217)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (15:21.73)
some some some people to use those things. That's kind of what what we try and do. So yeah, I I think we got it this month.
Craig (15:26.112)
Yeah.
And and if and if you I think we did too. And if you don't if you listen to the show, but you don't actually look and what see this sort of stuff, then and we'll let us give you a couple of little pointers right now. First and foremost, Rob, people who've never seen this before. People only see the crates crates, the cruiseies and the sleepsies. And they see the number that they have to cap. That's all it is. Not this month. This month there's no numbers. The only numbers this month is actually points numbers. So you gotta have points.
Rob (15:40.908)
do
Rob (15:47.539)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (15:55.549)
Craig (15:56.682)
of cruisies and sleepsies instead of the number. So what that means is yeah, the some of the points are they look and go, wow, that's that's more than normal. Yeah, that's more than normal for sleepsies, but very, very, very easily obtainable for cruisies. So
Rob (16:12.007)
Yeah. Let's say for example, one thousand points, you know, between cruisies and sleepsies. You now have multiple ways of getting that because if we'd done this and used this previously, the only way would have been to get ten cruisies or ten sleepsies or some combination of that, or use those the the multipliers, the boosters, so that you could get, you know, bonus. now though with this one.
Craig (16:16.917)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:27.776)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:36.033)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (16:41.683)
With a thousand points, there's so many ways because it could be just two of the pink cruisies that have been waiting for three plus years. Those are five hundred points each. You cap two of those. That's your thousand points. You if you're only supposed to get five hundred points, you just have to cap one of those old physical ones. Or same as usual, you can go get ten sleepsees, you can use your boosters, whatever else you want to do. So we're giving you a
Craig (16:45.28)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:49.867)
Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Mm.
Craig (17:01.013)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:07.277)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (17:10.707)
Just a little more flexibility and creativity on your end to choose how do you want to harvest your cruise and sleepsies to get the points that are necessary. I I think it was yeah, it was a good idea. Well done to you, by the way, for thinking, hey, let's let's do this. Yeah, let's try this. Yeah.
Craig (17:13.94)
Yeah.
Craig (17:19.046)
Mm-hmm. Exactly.
Yeah. Thank you, sir. Let's do something different.
And and a a word out there as well, a chuck out to PJ as well, because he mentioned this in the Munzy Maniacs podcast a couple of episodes or one episode ago in regards to the scatters of the underlying what's underlying the cruisey scatters onto other cruisies. That has been changed, that has been edited now, and that will not happen. What that means though, it'll either A, they'll go on to existing in the area greenies that aren't cruisies, or they won't scatter at all. It all depends on what there is. So they won't
go over the top of an existing cruisey. So thank you, PJ, for pointing that out, mate. And that has been changed and rectified. So don't worry about it. Don't some people Rob have been looking going at the cruisey, having a look in the description and going, hang on, that's a briefcase. I'm not gonna cap that one.
Because it's going to scatter on top of the other cruises and you know, then they they leave it without capping it. We don't want that. You know, we want people to actually cap these things and get out there, get motivated, get physical, that sort of thing as well. So points on cruises. It's it's becoming a bit of a thinking month this month in regards to that sort of thing too. So there you go. at the same time, Rob, there's more what? There's more crates than normal too to open? What the what?
Rob (18:41.161)
The this is one of those things that's gonna be a divisive topic and we know that because some people just really don't like going out and getting more crates. Use crowbars, you know. If you're those people who are trying to move to the higher levels, use your crowbars. we know that people are being able to get those as rewards from month to month. So you know, just get out there.
Craig (18:45.194)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (18:49.899)
Yeah. Yeah.
Craig (19:01.005)
That's right. Just a just a quick tip as well. Quick tip as well for those who don't know, 'cause some people still don't know, and that is the crates only count if they are obtained from the third of the month onwards. They're not if you've got a crate now already and you open it up in on the fourth or the fifth, th that will not count.
you gotta obtain the crate itself during the month from the third onwards. That's a really very big stipulation. A lot of people get confused by that, and that's fine. so that sort of thing as Rob as well. So open your crates but obtain them from the third. At the same time, have a look in the redeem store. What? Yes, the redeem store, you can actually have more than if you're a premium member, you can have two crates going at the same time. But in the redeem store, you can actually redeem stuff for extra crates as well. So don't forget about that too. So you can have, you know.
Two, three crates available, Rob, at the same time. Now, if you're if I've got two crates, for instance, ready to go, I cap one physical Munzie, a greeny. That's that's one cap off both those crates, not just one of them, both those crates. So if the more you got going, then the more you can open. At the same time, Rob, I saw this morning, Wednesday morning it is, this morning, I saw on the water cooler, someone, someone, Rob, was bragging. They had opened a hundred.
Rob (20:03.187)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (20:20.11)
crates this month alone. They also bragged by saying that they only used seven like crowbars for a hundred crates, Rob.
Rob (20:24.371)
That's
Rob (20:33.797)
If if everyone could see my face right now, the the puzzled look, the the math wheels that are turning in my head with how many physical Munsies this person must have captured, what the weather must be like in their location, like wow.
Craig (20:41.775)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, to open that many. Yeah. He he I think I think it was a he, he did say that he does walk every single day. He has got greeny trails that he loves to do every single day. And he's obviously a dog lover. He's out there with his dog walking in as well. So so if i if people if people can got complaints in regards to how many crates they have to open for the month, then go to the water cooler and make a comment on his post.
Rob (21:00.563)
Sounds like it. That's good.
Rob (21:10.025)
Yeah, right. Because we're not going to a hundred. Yeah, but but wow. Wow. Cool.
Craig (21:12.492)
No, no, no, no, no. Exactly. and also Rob, people would notice as well the scatter points have have lifted too. You got some scatter points, but again that lines up with scatter Saturdays, see? So there you go.
Rob (21:27.923)
Yep. Each each one of the categories if if they seem a bit high, it's because they relate to those bonus events. So yeah, get out there and participate.
Craig (21:33.815)
Mm-hmm. Exactly. And speaking of the bonus events, quickly, we're going to go quickly over the bonus events. Don't forget Triple Tuesdays, triple point greeting cards on Tuesdays, scatter Saturdays, extra scatters off on caps on Saturdays themselves every single time. And then we'll go into the weekends after that from there next week onwards. Meanwhile, Rob, we're going to talk about the Garden of the Months was announced as well for Health and Heroes for the month of May.
Tell us the garden of the month winners.
Rob (22:04.733)
Yeah, so we had curling at the Winter Olympics twenty twenty six, which was designed by Slobin Eleven and it was in Bellano, Italy. So well done. That was a nice little design. Anyone who deployed in that one got a special badge for it. Well done. And the other one was lightweight, which was designed by I buy iBike four and it was placed in Fremont, California. So again
Craig (22:18.007)
Mm.
Craig (22:29.484)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob (22:32.679)
Those who deployed in that garden got a special badge. Well done. Be sure that you go to the Kubazi Gardens page, look at all the gardens, you can see the ones that are tagged, and see about deploying in those for future months. if the design is really good, then you you know, you know that maybe that's one that we as a team would be looking at and going, ooh, I really like that one.
Craig (22:50.67)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:59.371)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (22:59.533)
it does need to line up with the theme really well. So just because it has the tag, if it doesn't line up with the theme, then it it's probably not gonna get the same number of votes within our team as we are looking at them. So that's my words of of wisdom and tips for you on the on this theme.
Craig (23:02.571)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (23:06.274)
Yeah. Yeah.
Exactly. The yeah, yeah. And
And one more thing, Rob, I've noticed there as well. And you can do this, there's not a problem. there's no issues with this as well. But if you feel like, you know, hang on, my design can kind of relate to, you know, two or three different months that we have out. You can actually do two or three different tags and it actually appear in those three, for instance, three tags, three months. It appears for three different months. as long as it lines up, as you said, with the actual theme itself, then there's no problem with that too. So there you go. Sam has done it so you can actually have it in more than one, so you can, you know, spread the love from there.
Rob (23:42.249)
Very good.
Craig (23:47.255)
So make sure you get get your gardens made. if you've got an idea for a garden and have a look at the garden in the month, what's coming up in months to come, then that might inspire you too, Rob. So, you know, in one of the months something might be coming up in regards to I don't know. I haven't looked, I haven't got it in front of me, but say, you know, sunny sunshine, then then get something out there that's applicable to that too. So there you go. all right, Rob, and moving on now to the Stellar Slumber Party birthday events for July.
It's time.
Rob (24:18.675)
That's right. It is time. The birthday month is nearly upon us. And you know, the team Dylan came up with a a cool theme this year for these events, stellar slumber parties. So they these are, you know, glow type events. There's a lot of flashy colors that are coming at you. I've seen the the attendee and the host badges.
Don't know if those are gonna be in the blog post because it's going out later today, I believe. so if everybody gets to see them today, cool. If not, those will be shown soon. Great badges. so here's what you get in this. you get the choice, and this is for the host. So remember, host, you've got to put an event on the calendar, then you're gonna chat back and forth with Lou to add the package to those events.
Craig (24:52.174)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (25:13.389)
And you get as a host to choose a badge and an icon. And there are some options from that. I believe there's four different styles. You're gonna get double cake on the badge, which is 100 cake for each of the badges. you get 50 exclusive event greeting cards. And this year we have five designs, and you're gonna get 10 of each design. They're special.
Craig (25:27.67)
Craig (25:37.298)
nice.
Rob (25:37.981)
The glow, the neon. So those of you who love the icons and getting special icons, you got five if you go to these these birthday events this year. you get no proximity restrictions, and that is, you know, apart from the standard event pen rules, there are 100 feet. You get the host badge for up to four hosts. You also get a birthday battle attendee.
Craig (25:43.758)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:54.102)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:59.577)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (26:03.911)
badge and it says battle. I'm not sure that we're calling it that. so I don't know if that word is correct. hosts are also going to get a 25% discount code that they can share with all the attendees of the event. That 25% discount code is used on the in the freeze tag online store and that's going to be on select products like Zeds and Blast. Those two are in each time we add some others on rotation. So check that out or
Craig (26:10.184)
No, that's not correct.
Craig (26:18.349)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (26:33.529)
be sure that you you get ready. There is one thing that we didn't announce that I'm gonna tell you podcast listeners only, and that is the party pinata. What now there there was a lot of discussion when we used the party pinata last year because it it failed to meet our expectations on launch. We did get it fixed later in that day, first handful of events.
Craig (26:38.134)
Mm.
Craig (26:41.791)
Craig (26:48.032)
Yeah. Yeah.
Craig (26:53.335)
Mm.
Rob (27:01.129)
we are going to do some extensive testing. We're going to do that live on production. We're going to do it as a team to make sure that the party pinata is meeting expectations. And if it is, then you will see those also coming in to the birthday events this year. So if it's not working, then you can erase this from your memory because we will not put it out unless it's working properly. One final thing about the calendar, the we've added an additional color.
Craig (27:17.534)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (27:22.094)
Yeah, exactly.
Rob (27:30.279)
Because we have the pink monthly events, they've got the pink border around them. Well, if you add the birthday package to a separate event, then it's gonna show up as blue. And if you've got an event that is a monthly event, but you're also adding the birthday package, pink and blue is purple. So those of you looking at the calendar, you see the purple
Craig (27:30.552)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (27:42.286)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (27:49.258)
Rob (27:57.437)
Ba the purple square around it, right? That means that it's a birthday and a monthly event. Yeah.
Craig (27:58.297)
So Yeah. That's both. So you could kill two birds with one stone in that regard, then Rob, too. So if you if you're a host out there and love to host the monthly events as well to to keep up that monthly streak and maybe get a special badge at the end of the year and something else. then you know, you you don't want to host another event, like two separate events, you can just literally have this as an add on if that's the case then.
Rob (28:24.617)
It's true. Yeah. Yeah.
Craig (28:25.442)
the birthday one as an add on to your your current monthly event. I like that, Rob. Well done. Well done. And and yeah, and also yeah also the
Rob (28:30.941)
Good thinking. That was Lou, by the way. Yeah.
Craig (28:35.06)
Don't forget, if you're a even a host or an attendee, whatever, and you get that 25% discount code, those things are on like Zeds and BLUS, which are perfect for you to sit there, grab them up if you need them. For instance, if there's so many still cards around you and stuff like that too, and you want to get rid of the cards, you want to get the extra points, then you can sit there at the event, grab what you need with a 25% discount and blast away, Rob.
So very, very cool. All right, Robert, we're moving on to the Munsey question of the week. This is getting along the tooth now. Munsey question of the week from Michelle on Facebook. And she says, Say you want to buy an emerald for a player who is inactive to keep their POIs around. And you just realize they already went inactive. They have a few retire myths floating around. Do the retirements stay retired or do they unretire if the count becomes active again? Just curious.
Rob (29:24.083)
Wow. there's there's really more than one question in here or there are several pieces to it. So let me try and be as clear as possible. once an account goes inactive and those deploys are removed from the map, there's nothing that the rest of us can do about it. So doesn't matter. those what once they're gone, the only person that can put them back on the map is that player, the owner.
Craig (29:28.299)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (29:40.973)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (29:44.622)
Mm.
Craig (29:51.84)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (29:52.413)
can redeploy them, they they just go back into the undeployed list. so in other words, if you see retire myths on an account or if if those POIs are already gone, then it's too late. you you doing something to try and keep that account alive, it's not going to put those things back on the map. The retire myths do go back to normal myths. when the player goes back into active
Craig (29:56.674)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:03.726)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:07.694)
Mm.
Craig (30:16.001)
Okay.
Rob (30:22.225)
Status. That's the only thing that that all of us normal players can impact. and it's that automated process that switches between retire myth and not retire myth. So that's it.
Craig (30:28.077)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:31.598)
Right.
Okay. So really technically the answer for the POY question that she had, that these POYs will not be put back if they've already gone. However, if they have not left the map yet, they stay when the p player becomes active again. So if those POYs are still on the map and then you do the emerald thing that she's asking to do, then those POYs will stay because that player becomes s like still active again. and technically the POYs are not left the map. So they they will stay. But if they've already left the map, they're not coming back unless that actual player
returns to the game so and puts them back themselves. So there you go. Very cool. That's a good question of the week. I like that question of the week, mate. That a thinking question. Details. Exactly. All right. We're gonna end it, Rob, with the Munzie tip of the week. And this one is to get your birthday months event started now. Lou's waiting. She's sitting there with bated breath at the front of her computer right now, waiting to answer those emails, waiting to get the messages coming through as well. and also as we said before just recently that you can always add
Rob (31:05.843)
Correct. Yep.
Yeah. Some details there, yeah.
Craig (31:32.108)
the birthday specials to an existing event too. So if you've got existing events going on, you can always add the birthday specials to the existing events as well. So there you go, Rob. Any other tip of the week that you can think of before we leave?
Rob (31:43.642)
No, sir, that's it.
Craig (31:46.058)
That's it. So Rob, that ends another official Munzie podcast.
Rob (31:49.481)
Hey, thanks for joining us on this Munziey adventure.
Craig (31:52.866)
Don't forget subscribe rate review on your favourite podcasting app and join us next week for another informative episode.
Rob (31:58.014)
And remember, Munzie is more than a game, it's a worldwide community of mobile game players.
Craig (32:02.936)
So keep scanning, keep discovering, keep that Monday screw lower. One, two, three, happy birthday for July.
Rob (32:06.729)
Slumber party on! Ha ha! Early, early birthday for you. I love it.
