Craig (00:00.79)
Welcome to the Official Munzee Podcast.
Rob (00:03.425)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.
Craig (00:07.582)
And I'm Craig also known as Seemyshell, I started as an avid Munzee player now proudly part of the team.
Rob (00:12.665)
Each week we'll delve into Munzees mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.
Craig (00:19.928)
So sit back, relax, as today we chat. birthday to you, happy birthday. I'm not talking about the birthday month, Rob, this time, this week. It's different, it's different. Not again, not yet, no, it's not July, July. And yes, I did get messages from Sam. Very prolifically, I woke up to a message from Sam on Friday morning saying, Craig, Craig, Craig. So there you go. No, Rob, I'm talking about you, sir. Personally, not your personal birthday. But what sort of...
Rob (00:27.441)
Okay. I was like, not again. All right.
Rob (00:48.753)
I was like, no, not not strike two already. Yeah, okay. Carry on.
Craig (00:52.16)
What's your, what's not your personal birthday, but what sort of birthday did you celebrate Rob this week?
Rob (00:56.133)
Well, anniversary birthday, yeah. From from when I first joined the Munsey team. That's right. June first of twenty twelve was my first day, yeah, on the Munsey team. I I I badgered my way in, if you will. I worked hard to try and explain to to the team, mainly to Aaron.
Craig (00:58.798)
Craig (01:06.894)
Mmm.
Craig (01:11.886)
2012.
Wow.
Rob (01:26.043)
The the main founder, how I could be useful. And as a teacher, summer began and he was like, Okay, we'll give you a shot. Here we go. And at that point in time, everyone was volunteers. So there were four of us. And yeah, we we worked well, I I worked on ideas, played the game, did all kinds of stuff most of the day, but we had conversations
Craig (01:30.86)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (01:51.202)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (01:54.779)
From about six to midnight, sometimes eight to midnight, was when we would actually do our work because everybody had full time jobs. So yeah, it was a good time. I went chasing businesses to try and get Munzie incorporated into them. Cabela's big, you know, outdoor place. Got them in Fort Worth set up and did some stuff with them. Anyway, yeah. Now what, fourteen years later
Craig (02:00.064)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (02:04.908)
Yeah.
Craig (02:11.319)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah,
Craig (02:23.97)
Hehehehehe
Rob (02:24.363)
as I explained to the team, I said, still coming up with crazy ideas and setting un unreasonable deadlines. and we still got a team that's doing the stuff. Scott's back with us, from back in those days and crazy as he is to rejoin. He and I are he and I are working on some cool stuff behind the scenes. And yeah, yeah, something
Craig (02:34.306)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (02:39.214)
Yeah.
Craig (02:47.011)
really? Munsy related or?
Rob (02:52.869)
Yeah, there's a Munsey related component to it. So we're actually gonna be promoting it through through the Munsey community, but it's it's an idle game. So I'll just leave it at that. Let that one drift around in the back of your brain and watch, watch for an announcement. There is a Munsee tie in, there is a reason for it as well. So it's gonna be fun.
Craig (02:55.566)
Okay
Yeah, yeah.
that's it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, well, I've seen, I've privy to seeing this sort of stuff too, and Robert could go sky high just saying, so. I've been very different, I've been very, I've been, I've got two brand new Nigerian dwarf goats now as well that, yeah, yeah, two girls, Thelma and Louise have joined the homestead, and.
Rob (03:23.225)
I hope so.
Rob (03:32.635)
What?
Rob (03:38.274)
Nice.
Craig (03:39.703)
And Rob, I've been getting sales, online sales for the hot sauce for the Homestead from none other than Munzee Players. So you ready for this? Shout out, in order, Old Man Trouble, well done. You've got some of my hot sauce, along with Father of Grace and Dragons West as well. They're the first three to order the hot sauce from ShelbyHomestead.com. That's B-E-E, not B-Y, ShelbyHomestead, one word, dot com.
You too, if you listen to this, can order your own hot sauce and it'll be packaged and delivered to you anywhere around the good old US.
Rob (04:15.333)
Not sponsored. But yes. So you call it hot sauce. how how hot are we talking here?
Craig (04:16.616)
No, no, not at all. I couldn't afford sponsorship. I sold three bottles, four bottles of hot sauce. I can't afford it. Yeah.
Well, Rob, I'm gonna send you one as well. I can guarantee you, for me it's warm because I am not into hot things at all, spicy things at all. So for me it's quite warm, but for everyone else, if you're used to hot sauce, it's not that hot. We go more on flavor over heat. Made purely through our jalapenos here on the Shelby Homestead as well. there you go. Yeah, homegrown jalapenos. mm-hmm. Yeah.
Rob (04:47.628)
Okay. So
Rob (04:53.437)
wow. Well that's cool. Well then I look forward to taste testing that for you. the the jalapeno jelly, we'll just call it that, if for those of us that just like to eat jalapeno is just for fun, right? So
Craig (05:04.206)
Jelly. Jelly. Jelly. All Australians are going on jelly. We're saying Australian jelly for us is Jell-O. that's, yeah.
Rob (05:11.417)
Not that kind. Jello, yeah, not that kind. Although hey, maybe I will form it into that and just kinda sli snack on it in little slices, that'd be good too.
Craig (05:18.83)
Maybe. Maybe, maybe. We do have some plants though that have got a little bit more heat to them and they're called, oh what they're called now, not scorpion, death spirals. They're called death spiral chilies. So 10 million scurvle points or something, whatever these things have. So they're there on the vine right now. They're waiting to be ripened and harvested after that too. So they will be in there anyway, Rob.
Rob (05:31.119)
And
Craig (05:45.078)
Look at that, Doverting, we sound like the Munzey Maniacs podcast. Last week in the good old US of A we had events in Mississippi, Missouri and Indiana and around the world, mate, just the one.
Rob (05:55.897)
That was so close. It was Michigan, Missouri, and Indiana. But around the world we did have Switzerland. Thanks for writing that word out for me.
Craig (06:04.878)
That's all right, you're welcome. Anyway, the leaderboards themselves, not that big of points because it was the end of the month and a lot of people had already got their points for the Gauntlet games. But Friday we had DJ AJ Bros with 391,000 points, XP2 with 294,000 points, and Jaroslav Kas with 196,000 points in third place on Saturday, mate.
Rob (06:29.685)
On Saturday we had Primchin two hundred and forty two thousand, Jerislav Kas with two hundred and thirty three thousand, and the Mac Man one hundred and ninety-four thousand.
Craig (06:35.468)
you
Craig (06:39.886)
The Mac man, is he the one from Australia? He's Australian, isn't he? He's in Australia. Yeah, yeah. He caps one of my POIs every, they go to Western Australia, Perth often. Sunday we had first place, one, two, three, XLF with 309,000 points, followed by Snickers, 71, 256,000 points. And rounding off third place, oh, he's got a trifecta for the weekend, Jaroslav Kas, with 216,000 points. When I say trifecta, I mean just in the top three.
Rob (06:42.863)
Yes, yeah, yep.
Craig (07:07.712)
each single day. That's what I mean by trifecta, not first place. Anyway, the events though, this coming weekend, because now we're branding brand new Gauntlet Games started for us as well. So in the USA, we have Ohio, Iowa, Arizona, two in Florida and one in California and around the world, mate.
Rob (07:25.723)
Well, around the world we've got Ontario and British Columbia, Canada. We have six in England. Whoa. It's time. It's finally time. This weekend it's here. we have Finland and Denmark.
Craig (07:36.536)
Yeah.
Craig (07:40.855)
That's right. And as you just said, Rob, the big events for the upcoming this weekend, the South Coast Mega in the UK, June 5 to 6, six events, some big names, big players are gonna be there and big numbers too, Rob. I do believe they are well over 50 for the Megas each time, up and around the 70 mark, 70 players per one as well. So get your cards out and around as long as you know.
Rob (07:58.747)
Mm-hmm. Yes, they are. Yeah.
Craig (08:08.556)
and hopefully the players can get out there and keep walking around. Cause I find the UK players are walking players, whereas the US players are not. They're driving and blasting players. Whereas UK players like to walk and cap. So.
Rob (08:21.169)
That is what I have noticed as well. Yep.
Craig (08:24.054)
Yes, we have in July 10, 11, 12 in the Netherlands as well. Have a look at the events for over there. Ohio, July 23 to 24, Munzee at Midwest Geobash coexisting. And then September 18 to 20, Munzee, Mania and Minnesota. And then November 6, 7, 8, Munzee Mirage in Las Vegas. Five events over the three days there. January 14, 15, 16, 17, that's right, four days, five events, Munzee Mecca in Florida as well. Get.
your travel plans in place. Now those people over in England, for instance, the 70 plus that are over there for this big event, have a look and see maybe come over for one of these events. Come over for the Minnesota event, come over for the Las Vegas events, come over for the Florida events. I'm sure they'll enjoy having the difference between the style of event play from the UK to the good old US of A and mingle.
mingle around and see all the big name players that you normally see or hear on this podcast and mingle around as well. So there you go, Rob.
Rob (09:28.069)
I I like that idea. We've sent some American ambassadors for this weekend over to England. Why not bring some some some international ambassadors or players over into the US? Why not? Why not? Might as well.
Craig (09:31.466)
Yeah. Whoa.
Craig (09:39.63)
Correct. Correct. Players.
Craig (09:46.217)
Exactly and just just for reference. We did not send them. They went on their own accord We didn't send them there. You said we sent them we didn't send them so Yeah, so if you're looking for sponsorship for flights, no, don't reach out to us That doesn't happen that doesn't happen at all anyway, Rob moving on now for the events this week itself first and foremost The Munzee Monthly Moments for May the winners were announced now. This one really did surprise me Rob We had three newish when I said newish newish to the
Rob (09:53.893)
That's a good point. That's a good point.
Rob (10:00.093)
that is correct. Sorry everyone.
Craig (10:16.086)
the video game in the finalists. had Stinger in the final. She's been a finalist once before or twice before as well. And we had Eagle Dad and Xenia and we had Joe 222S. Now those three players, they had some really good videos, but the winner, congratulations to Eagle Dad and Xenia. Why, Rob? Because he forged a Munzee, right? Because that's all you had to do was forge a Munzee. So a lot of people did it from home. A lot of people just did it.
and screen recorded as they're forging a Munzee on Cup of Z. They did it that way. The lazy route. Eagle Dad, he gets out there, he starts forging a Munzee itself, and then he's in a blacksmith workshop and he forges, Rob, he forges an actual knife. But the best thing about it is he gets this knife out of the steamy hot red hot poker, and you see it's bright red, and he's going dink, dink, dink with a hammer as well. And if you look past,
the hammer, if you look past the knife, he's wearing his flip-flops, his iconic flip-flops with piping hot bits of metal flying everywhere and he's still in his flip-flops. So there you go, well done to Eagle Dad and Xenia.
Rob (11:18.777)
No.
Rob (11:27.567)
That is amazing. Did did you know that he did that? I knew that he he's participated in I w I don't know if they're Renaissance fairs or what, but the that type of thing doing blacksmith work like for years. yeah, I I knew that from a long time ago, but never had seen any of it. No no evidence, maybe a couple of pictures on
Craig (11:38.178)
Mm.
Craig (11:44.646)
really?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Rob (11:53.941)
on social media or something. So that's very interesting. can you share a link to that video for all of us to see? 'Cause that yeah.
Craig (12:00.459)
Absolutely links either that or just go to the Munzee YouTube channel and the link to the is all on the Munzee YouTube channel. You see him. So what happens is, Rob, if you don't, if you don't obviously watch it, is that the finalists, the three finalists, I know the three finalists, what I do is I announce the three finalists themselves on a YouTube video. I then show, and so it's basically me screen recording the three finalists in order one, two, or not in no particular order, one, two, three.
Rob (12:07.491)
there you go.
Rob (12:12.849)
This is for the people. I know how to get there. Yeah.
Craig (12:28.302)
You then go and vote. You've got 24 hours to go and vote for your favorite. So we don't pick, we just pick the finalist. We don't pick the winner. The winner is selected by a vote of players who watched the videos themselves. So that's how it actually works. But a big shout out to Xenia as well, his wife, for all the videoing that she did too. So she does the video because at the end, Rob, after he sort of puts the knife and he's putting the knife back into the heat, whatever it's called, she scrolls down.
to two items that he's already forged. He's already forged like this other little knife and a snail. That's two, so a snail, so there you go, out of metal. So yeah, really cool. So go to there and have a look. The Munzee YouTube channel. Subscribe to it if you haven't subscribed to the Munzee YouTube. I don't know why you haven't if you don't. And then have a look at the Munzee Monthly Moments. Now for June, Rob, if you wanna get involved in this too, everyone should get involved, because you get a free card and you get a free badge every single time.
Rob (13:02.545)
Snail. Hmm. All right. That's cool. Wow.
Craig (13:25.75)
The gym requirements are out. You need to show yourself physically capping a physical Munzee. That's right. Show yourself capping a physical Munzee. And this is very much on point for the Munzee Maniacs team, especially PJ, because show us the season that you are currently in, whether it be summer or winter. So that's weather related. So that's the case then. I expect, I am doing it now, I'm doing a shout out and I expect a video from PJ, a video.
Rob (13:43.413)
right. Yeah.
Craig (13:53.583)
from Sarah and a video from Kevin as well. All three of them need to do a Munzee Monthly Moments video and submit it as well too through KappaZee. So it's easy to do, easy to do, and if they don't know, they can reach out to me. They do it often. So there you go.
Rob (14:04.048)
Wow.
Rob (14:09.509)
Challenge extended. Excellent. Of course, you doing this, they have you know the right, if they all three do it, to extend the challenge to us as well. I I don't know. We'll see what happens. That sounds good. Hey, speaking of challenge, I was kicking some ideas around with somebody the other day and about future gauntlet games requirements and they said what about a Munzie Monthly.
Craig (14:11.82)
Yeah.
Craig (14:21.701)
yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (14:29.869)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (14:34.894)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (14:39.029)
moment video requirement as like one per cl guild that kind of thing and so it got my brain spinning and I came up with a way that I don't even have to incorporate anybody else, just you, on how we could do that. I mean, if one person per guild. I'm just putting it out there. I'm just just saying.
Craig (14:42.595)
no, I'm-
Craig (15:00.759)
Rob.
Craig (15:04.716)
Yeah. Yeah.
Rob (15:06.491)
I mean we know that everybody likes to have a their their thoughts about how how you know these these requirements and so that could be an interesting new one. and encouraging encouraging cooperation. That's what I'm that's what I'm thinking.
Craig (15:23.182)
You know what I'd prefer Rob because a video is it's a big it is a big deal for a lot of people You know, mean that's something too and I and I get that I understand that but one requirement though We're having a meeting now as we speak But anyway one requirement would be a photo on a bouncer for instance as well. That could be another requirement So that's a nice and simple nice and easy a lot of people do that already If you didn't know that you could do that you can do that and you get if you do three in a month You get a free card as well. So, you know, yeah
Rob (15:28.678)
Yeah, I know.
Rob (15:51.409)
So you're saying then that we'd have to come up with a way to definitely know that they did that. They would get the reward. And man, all right. That sounds like some Sam work. So we'll we'll see what Sam thinks of that idea as well. shall we? Hey, let's jump to this month's clan requirements. I said it. I was trying so hard not to. Sorry everyone for that little yell. Gauntlet Games requirements.
Craig (16:00.77)
Correct.
Craig (16:04.494)
That is.
The bonus.
Craig (16:17.675)
you did.
Rob (16:21.285)
because there was a bit of conversation about, you know, everything that was happening for this month. one or the other of us. no names shall be shared, of course, through in a little, you know, three letter acronym that stands for reseller unique munsi and maybe rum was a part of the inspiration there. I don't know. Anyway, there's
Craig (16:26.798)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Craig (16:49.016)
I don't drink rum, but anyway, keep going.
Rob (16:51.011)
Right. There's a sure. There's a there's there's always, or we'll go with usually, most of the time, a plan, some some back you know, some thinking about those kinds of things and different ways for players to receive pieces that you know maybe they don't have in their stockpiles, so yeah, so you know, just know that.
Craig (17:08.419)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:14.008)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Rob (17:21.159)
that's out there. there are actually several unique things that happen with these rums. scatter Saturdays are happening. Most of the rums just happen to be scattering types. So putting them out there, just a thought. Anyway, yeah.
Craig (17:27.896)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:31.415)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:37.711)
And that's the thing Rob as well, and that is a lot of people see these rums and they only think of the virtual or physical Munzee types. They don't realize in terms of the rums can also be the mechs too. We have rum mechs that count towards all bounces, that sort of thing too. So.
Rob (17:53.275)
Mm-hmm. There's cards. There's Yeah.
Craig (17:57.039)
There's cards that even count towards rums, know, those sort of things as well. So what you're saying, Rob, as well, I did read the blog post all the way through in regards to the Gauntlet Games. And remember, there's always a hint at the bottom. And that hint this month was actually going towards, you know, there's other ways to obtain items that you don't ordinarily have to actually get your rewards. So, or get your, your Gauntlet Games levels up. So there you go.
That's it for it as well. Don't forget as well to activate those baby monkeys for a premium member. Activate your baby monkey now. Have a look in the premium part of the redeem store and activate your little squeaker. Meanwhile, Rob, we're gonna get back to the June bonus events as well. June bonus, we're in June now, middle of June. Triple Tuesdays, triple point greeting cards every single Tuesdays. I think you said it last week, Rob. Ideal for this would be for you to deploy.
your cards on a Tuesday and get them out there at all the every single local or international event that you can find for that weekend. At the same time, Scatter Saturdays is also on Extra Scatters from Caps on Saturdays. And then June 5th to 7th, Rob, is double points for everyone on greenies, cards, flats, colors, jewels, evolutions, and mysteries as well. that's the one and only weekend this will be this month for double.
So get out there, get your points going and everything from there too. So there you go.
Rob (19:21.243)
Yep. Get your points. This is the weekend to make a run on the high levels of of the Gauntlet Games, for sure.
Craig (19:29.37)
Exactly. Meanwhile, Rob, some blog posts come out in regards to how to earn extra mini cubimals. You don't realize cubimals, need eight of these cubimals to actually obtain a bouncing, temporary bouncing cubimals. You need eight. And eight's a lot when you've got so many to choose from, Rob. There's so many cubimals out there to choose from. So eight of one particular type is a lot. But you said now we've released it, you can earn extra mini cubimals. How does this all work?
Rob (19:58.331)
Well, there's a little button now that's been added. Actually there are two buttons. so when you when you crack that crate, there's there's one option that shows up. you can redeem an additional crowbar and it will double your reward. So kind of like what's happening at the end of the month, which is the twenty second through the twenty eighth, we've got the crate cracking cubimoles where you get double the mini cubimels.
Craig (20:06.701)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (20:17.375)
Craig (20:20.696)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Rob (20:27.747)
On those days, 22nd through the 28th, you're actually going to have the ability to get times four. So yeah, it's almost like we knew this was happening, and therefore there are some extra crate requirements for this month. So for those people who it takes you all month to open a crate, guess what? That's actually going to be a good thing from the 22nd through the 28th.
Craig (20:34.894)
I was gonna say four. What?
Craig (20:49.698)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (20:55.077)
so yeah, the we we've got the ability for people to earn double the double the mini cubable rewards. this is one of those things where there are people who I really don't like using the crowbars. Okay, cool. Then now you have something to do with your crowbars. You can actually redeem it to get an additional mini cubable reward. So we're thinking that was a good
Craig (21:03.927)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (21:11.342)
Yeah.
Rob (21:23.681)
idea. Hopefully everyone else agrees. another use for crowbars.
Craig (21:24.291)
Yeah.
Craig (21:28.766)
And it's not just a double cubimals as well. If you've got a different type of reward that comes from the crates, not the crates just don't contain cubimals themselves. They contain other things sometimes as well that you can double whatever comes out, whatever reward comes out, you can double it by using a crowbar from there. But also in saying that Rob too, if you get something now that you don't like coming out, you got the feature to reroll. What?
Rob (21:52.635)
Yeah. You know, kind of like I don't know. You you don't like your your daily Z Op, you have the ability to trash it. Well, that way you get a new one, so you're basically re-rolling what requirement you have for the daily Zop. Same thing for the crate rewards. When you finish that crate, when you open it, it shows you your reward and you go, Hmm, I don't need that cube more.
Craig (22:04.173)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (22:21.155)
Either you've already got one or only one, or you know, you you're you just know that's not the one that I need so that I can release a cubable so that you can deploy one. You can spend one hundred Z to re-roll the crate. you're here's how we've got it set up. They're there the re roll is going to re roll within the available pool for that specific
Craig (22:23.405)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:32.716)
Mm-hmm. Yep.
Craig (22:37.912)
Craig (22:48.216)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (22:49.115)
type of crate. So if it's a green crate, it's gonna re-roll within the available rewards for green crates. So don't go looking for a snow cone vendor cubimole unless it's available in that specific type of crate. Hopefully hopefully so. Yeah. We're that's that's definitely what we're aiming for, is to to make sense with this kind of stuff.
Craig (23:02.67)
in that crate normally. Yes. Yes, that makes sense.
That makes sense, that makes sense.
Craig (23:15.682)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (23:19.157)
It does tell you what your reward is now, and you've got the option to double it or to re-roll it. So we hope this is something that everyone enjoys and thought that 100 Z wasn't too outlandish, depending on what you're looking at. Could be exactly what you what you need or try again. So there you go. And you can do that as many times as you like. All right. Right.
Craig (23:39.776)
Mm-hmm. Nice. Nice.
You can just keep reroll reroll reroll reroll.
Rob (23:48.475)
That's that's how it works.
Craig (23:49.987)
But in saying that too, Rob, if I don't like, for instance, I get a cubemall that I'm not a fan of, I don't want any of these or things or whatever else, so I do a re-roll, I get a different type of cubemall, but if I do a re-roll again, can get, the cubemalls come back, et cetera, as well, too. They don't just, just because I said no to that one doesn't mean it's gone forever. I can actually, sometimes they re-roll back to what it originally was. So you gotta be careful. It's a bit of a lucky dip.
Rob (24:14.511)
Right. The original re-roll, it it it shouldn't have an immediate but you had a bureaucrat cubimal and you re-roll and it's like, it's a bureaucrat again. It shouldn't do that. So you should see a different option. Can it come back to the bureaucrat if you do it three times? Yes. Yeah, it can. They are back in the available pool. So there you go.
Craig (24:22.733)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (24:27.287)
No.
Craig (24:32.268)
Yeah, that's right.
Mm-hmm. Perfect. I like it. A lot of people do actually enjoy this one as well, Rob. So there you go. Very cool. Also quickly as well, Rob, we're running out of time. quickly. June 2026, MUNZ pack is being released. The Sharp Shooter Pack Rat has been out, along with the Renaissance Age card as well. So if you don't know what the June MUNZ packs or the monthly MUNZ packs are, have look on the freeze tag store. Get yourself.
a subscription to the MUNS pack, either the virtual subscription or the hybrid subscription as well if you want physical stuff. And have a look from there, the sharpshooter pack rat, he looks really cool. And don't forget, if you don't know what pack rats are, there's videos online that you'll see, oh my ugly mug and him, my voice, talking about what a pack rat is and how a pack rat can then turn into twigs and then twigs turn into mechs and then mechs give you cogs. The whole circle goes around. So all that sort of stuff as well.
Meanwhile, Rob, the June gargoyle was also released. Now this one here, my across the ocean friends from New Zealand love this one. It's a Kiwi, Rob, a Kiwi.
Rob (25:40.123)
Yes.
It is. We you know, we're we're doing we're doing little animal inspired gargoyles. So yeah, it's it was time for time for another down under inspired animal. So yeah, it's the Kiwi this time.
Craig (25:48.618)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:56.623)
Yep. I know, I know. And all my Kiwi friends, they're all saying, know, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. And then I'm gonna say, they're gonna say, no, no, no, no. When I say that New Zealand is technically the most Eastern part of Australia, the Eastern state of Australia. So there you go. Rob, also we spoke about this last week, mate. The slumber parties are available now for the month of July.
Rob (26:11.153)
my I tried to talk over him there, everyone from New Zealand. My my in laws, you know.
Rob (26:25.681)
Yeah, they are.
Craig (26:26.048)
And they're starting to pop up now as well in July, for July as well. So all the slumber parties, get yours on the map. Tell us though, Rob, if I'm a newish player though, just quickly, and I've never hosted before and I feel like, how do I host? What do I do? What's the quickest way? How can someone, someone as in Louise, hold my hand and help me through the process,
Rob (26:45.681)
Mm-hmm.
the first thing that you need to do is put your event on the calendar. So choose a date, get it on the calendar, and Louise will then take you by the hand and she will lead you through all the steps. There's an email that comes to you as step one. You need to respond to that email. It then goes into her inbox and she will respond to you and truly there are quite a few players out there who've been doing it for a long time.
Craig (26:52.494)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (27:06.498)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (27:14.868)
Mm-hmm. Yeah, they do.
Rob (27:15.163)
They still reach out to have their hand held and they know that that is true. people mess up. Lou is there to help. so try try to mess up early in the process as opposed to five minutes before the event starts. That is definitely preferred because she is not available 24-7. So yeah, that's step one. Get the event on the calendar. and then then let her know you want to have a special package, whether it's the monthly one or the birthday one.
Craig (27:21.772)
Yeah. Yeah. Yep.
Craig (27:31.491)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (27:44.705)
again, monthly events are glowing pink. birthday events are glowing blue on the calendar. And if you have a combo event where everyone's gonna get quite a few badges, those are purple because blue and pink makes bad.
Craig (27:48.099)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (27:59.427)
Yep, there you go. So, Eagle Dad reached out to me last week and asked me just to confirm that that's the case because he's a big host in Florida. And as he said to me as well, he said, Craig, it's a lot of work to host an event and it absolutely is. So for him to try and host two events instead of just the one, he's like, so I said, no, no, you can host just the one event and have both things happen on the same event. He was excited about that. He's happy about that. If you see him at any events, you'll see him in his flip flops.
or in Australia we call them thongs and I said to him as well, said, you were forging a weapon, red hot poker in your thong and he did not like that at all. said, how can you see my underwear? Anyway, there you go. Get your parties in ASAP.
Rob (28:38.673)
Rob (28:43.525)
Lou can confirm it is a lot of work for Gary to host events. Yeah, specifically.
Craig (28:47.47)
Oh yeah. Yeah. There we go. All right, Rob, moving on to the Munzee question of the week. And this one here is regarding the new crate swap and or double. How can we see our crowbars that we have at the time to see if we've got enough crowbars, for instance, to use them or not.
Rob (29:08.143)
Well, at the exact moment of redemption or swapping? I don't know. Honestly I well before you can go to Munzi.com slash credits, you can look in the Munz decks. There's an inventory button under your profile. you can go over to Cupazy, but during the exact moment of redemption and exchange, I d I'm not sure if it does say how many.
Craig (29:15.02)
Yeah, or before or after or...
Craig (29:38.083)
Yeah, no, apparently it doesn't. So, Sam, Sam, you listening, Sam? All right, Rob, gonna end it here with a Munzee Tip of the Week. And this one is always check the Redeem Store. And, and, Rob, and if I am a gambling man, I wouldn't, I check the Redeem Store now, but I wouldn't, I'll put it this way, I wouldn't purchase any crates, for instance, right now. I would wait until a little bit further on in the month.
Rob (29:38.265)
Wonder if anyone listening Yeah. I don't know.
Craig (30:05.89)
purchase my crate so I could open them up in the actual that week. you can have, Rob sometimes you can have four, five or six crates going at the same time. People will go, what? That's right. You can, you don't have to have just the two as a premium. There's, you, if you purchase a crate in the redeem store of some sort or online as well, you can actually get them as a bonus extra. You can have more than one or two crates going at the same time.
Rob (30:30.725)
While while your crate slots are full, that is correct. It will overflow. You will have extras. That may be how I have met the requirements for four plus in specific months. So yes, it is a useful and confirmed way to do it.
Craig (30:37.026)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:49.102)
Very good. And if you made it all this way, I can actually officially say it now. The team of Rob, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, and myself, the guild, that is the three of us, made it to level three last month and nowhere more than that. And that's all the reason for Rob. he missed two whole days during the month last month. So if you made it all this way, you've got a little secret sauce there because I am throwing Rob under the.
bus so we didn't even get our reward so Minnesota boy has messaged me and he's not happy about it so...
Rob (31:24.337)
I'm really sorry. I I I just I could not manage all the different components. Once I left UK in my little nest, I just I just couldn't do it. So my bad.
Craig (31:33.902)
Anyway, Rob, that ends another official Munzee podcast, but not our guild.
Rob (31:43.803)
