Craig (00:05.718)
Welcome to the official Munzee podcast.
Rob (00:08.174)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.
Craig (00:12.234)
And I'm Craig, also known as Seemyshell. I started as an avid Munzee player now, proudly part of the team.
Rob (00:17.58)
Each week we'll delve into Munzees mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.
Craig (00:24.586)
Sit back, relax. Today, Rob today we're busy, Rob. We're busy, busy, b lots of information. We're full of it, Rob. And the information as well, just saying. So lots going on, mate. Lots going on. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob (00:36.362)
A lot, a lot, so much. Busy week, busy month, and getting ready for an even busier one coming up next month.
Craig (00:43.606)
Yeah, the happy the happy birthday month's coming up as well. So that what that means, Rob, is we may be over thirty minutes. If that's the case then, is there a w is a one point two five speed on this? If you can still understand me at one point two five speed
Rob (00:56.29)
Yeah, I sound normal at one point two five. yeah. If if you've only got thirty minutes, now's the time to start skipping at or not skip ahead, but hit the one point two five, maybe the one point five just to speed us along. Just a thought.
Craig (00:59.554)
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Craig (01:08.2)
Mm-hmm. Speed us along. Either way, Rob. talking the skip button too. There's also that 10-second skip button. Why? Because I'm going to talk about my farm stand, Rob. Homesteading Rob. Exactly. I know. I know. The farm stand, the official farm stand is open from last weekend, Rob. It's out the front of our property here as well. We've got things. It's open every weekend now: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eggs, jelly, jam, hot sauce, jalapenos, salt.
Rob (01:16.952)
Hey, we didn't hear we didn't hear about it last week, so give us an update.
Craig (01:35.864)
Pop candy barcel scrubs, all homemade, all homegrown here on the Homestead Rob. Now Rob, I I do believe you partook in a couple of those items recently. You were our tester.
Rob (01:46.409)
I have. I have. I've tried a bit of the jalapeno salsa was good. And also the jalapeno salt, which I believe I was the first outside the family taste tester. Still alive and kicking. Sister in law saw that I had some. She was like, Ooh, what's this? Tried a little bit, my understanding. Freeze try it freeze dried jalapeno's inside that salt. Mm. Yeah, it was tasty. Very good, very good.
Craig (01:53.848)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (01:57.408)
Mm.
Craig (02:04.216)
Ha ha ha
Mm-hmm.
Craig (02:12.248)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That's the one. That's the one. Well, let your sister know, Rob, it's still available online. That's right. We're posting around the good old US of A as well. So go shelbyhomestead.com, B E E not B Y, Shelbyhomestead dot com for all your homestead needs, Rob. Meanwhile, what's been happening with you, sir? Something more important than that's actually happened to you. What's what's happening there?
Rob (02:36.332)
Well, yeah, I suppose so. This is this is one of those things that happens every year in life. For those who've been around a while, you may have traveled to McKinney way back in the day, you may have met someone who worked in the Munsee marketplace. It's my son. He turned twenty four. Trey turned twenty four this week. It's ridiculous. Yeah.
Craig (02:57.848)
Twenty four Twenty four. Wow. Wow. Do you feel old now that you've got a twenty four year old son?
Rob (03:05.218)
That that makes me not even a summer chicken anymore. I'm like really, really getting up there. It is wild. Yep.
Craig (03:13.816)
24-year-old man of a son. That's right. See, there you go. Wow. Well, well, happy birthday, Trey. Now, I remember watching back too, Rob. Trey, I think it might have been 13 or 14 years of age when he was working, not working for yeah, working for Munsey, but also as an actor in the promotion video, too. That's still out there on the web websites.
Rob (03:17.09)
Yeah. Some some might say that. Yeah, that is true.
Rob (03:31.648)
Yeah. Our
It is good old promotional Munzie video where Trey walked uncomfortably like a robot at twelve or thirteenish. yeah. Showing off his acting skills we'll call them early on, just how to cap a Munsey was all it really was and yeah, sometimes that's difficult. But yeah.
Craig (03:49.844)
Yes, yeah.
Craig (03:56.247)
Yeah. Although and now it put him in good steed to for what he does working with with Disney and on the river boats. So there you go. Very, very cool. Well done. Happy birthday, Trey. Well done, buddy. Twenty four years of age. you're you you you're almost making it there. So Meanwhile Rob, let's move on now to the events around USA for last weekend, Minnesota, Florida, North Carolina and Illinois and around the world, mate.
Rob (04:01.75)
It's true. It's true. Yep. Getting out there enjoying it.
Rob (04:12.706)
Nearly there.
Rob (04:20.448)
Around the world. We had one in UK, two in Denmark and one in Germany.
Craig (04:25.078)
The leaderboards of the weekend Friday, congratulations. First place, Casey Pride with three hundred and sixteen thousand points, followed by Joe Bok. Joe Bok sounds like a South African name. Two hundred and sixteen thousand points. I could be wrong. And in third place, Arts Five with two hundred and seven thousand points. On Saturday, mate.
Rob (04:43.758)
Plenty SMV with one million points. Wow. Congrats. Flipper Family, 500,000 and Gallon, 419,000.
Craig (04:54.312)
And on Sunday back to KC Pride in first place for six hundred and six thousand points. And then, who's this Rob? Mickey Lynn seventy one. Good old Mickey Lynn seventy one. Well done. In second place, four hundred and fifty-nine thousand points. sh not old as in age. You know what I mean. Jarasov Cass in third place with three hundred and forty five thousand points. But Rob, the weekend didn't stop there. What happened on Monday?
Rob (05:10.733)
Yes.
Rob (05:18.744)
Would you look at this? A Monday Millionaire. This is a name that I'm not familiar with, so a new one for us. It's AJM C C four hundred eighty with one point three million points. Wow, they must have hit a Munsey hotspot. That's my guess on that one.
Craig (05:22.242)
Mm.
Craig (05:32.086)
Three million. Yeah. Yeah. And using some b boosters, I dare say as well. Well done to AJ McC480. events are coming up this weekend, Rob. We have Michigan, Texas, and a coexist event. Yes, coexists in West Virginia. Morgantown, to be precise, West Virginia, the home of Jill Woodstock last year. they've got another mega geocaching event this weekend there, and so
Rob (05:41.698)
There you
Craig (05:59.213)
So some good Munsey players have have organized a coexist event there in West Virginia too. around the World Mate we had.
Rob (06:06.264)
Very nice. We had one er w coming up, we have one in Netherlands, in Hungary and Victoria, Australia. Almost threw me off. Nice try.
Craig (06:14.72)
Yeah, I tried, mate. I tried. big big events coming up, as we said before, is that we have July fourth, of course, Des Moines Des Moines in Iowa. Munrose is organizing three events on one special USA day, including pulled pork lunch. If that doesn't get you there, I don't know what will. after that we have July ten, eleven, twelve in the Netherlands, Ohio July twenty-three and twenty-four, mid Munzie at Midwest Geobash.
September 18, 20, Munzie Mania, Minnesota. November 6, 7, 8, Monsey Mirage in Las Vegas. January 14, 15, 16, 17, Munzie Mecca in Florida. And another coexist event in Yuma, Arizona on February 5th, 2027. So that's all the big events, Rob. Let's get on. Let's get a crack on because first and foremost, the Shimmering Star mailbox came out. Tell us more about the Shimmering Star.
Rob (07:10.414)
It's very shiny. I don't know. I'm I mean, like, hey, it's it's a mailbox. For those of you aren't familiar with the mailbox, you can go back through each of our previous years about this time each year when we talk about the birthday mailbox. So that's where we are. the the this is this year's birthday mailbox, and it's going to be a good one. So if you haven't picked one up yet, now's the time.
Craig (07:12.152)
Shiny things. Yeah.
Craig (07:26.957)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (07:33.56)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (07:40.044)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (07:40.471)
Remember it's good to get them before the first of the month so that you can set the routine of putting it out, capping it for those who might be moving from one place to the next. Get used to finding it, moving it, because this is th that one type of Munzie that we have that you can take with you, we'll call it. so yeah, you you can move this one from one spot to the next, but
Craig (07:46.122)
Mm-hmm. Get in the habit.
Craig (07:52.557)
yeah.
Craig (07:56.696)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (08:03.384)
Yes.
Craig (08:08.088)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (08:09.624)
You'll want to, you know, you'll want to practice that. It's definitely a good idea. There's the the best way available is in Kupazzy because there is a a single button that you'll be able to push. And and of course it probably is like click here, click here, click here. But anyway, you can get to your mailbox and you can then find it and move it. Do not undeploy that mailbox.
Craig (08:13.076)
Exactly.
Craig (08:18.346)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (08:29.185)
Mm.
Craig (08:32.919)
Nope.
Rob (08:34.156)
You just want to hit the relocate button basically to move it. Update location. So you can move this mailbox. There's an exclusive Whittle. There are bonus days in July specifically for mailbox owners. So this is an important reason to get it. There's also 31 themed cards. So this mailbox lasts for 31 days. You can cap it every day that you cap it. You get a mailbox.
Craig (08:40.117)
Update location.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (08:48.824)
that's been released. Yeah. Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Rob (09:03.436)
You get prizes that go along with it. The only way to get each day is to cap it each day. There is no like going back in time. So don't forget. So that's the daily prizes. And again, the rewards start on July first. So you'll want to cap it, you can have you?
Craig (09:09.664)
Mm-hmm.
No.
Craig (09:19.788)
Yeah. I've got mine.
I've got mine out, Rob. Yeah. I got mine out straight away. Because I like to get it out nice and early. Cause even if you're capping it before the actual first of July, you're still getting points, Rob. You're still getting ten points. But the most important thing is you get in that habit. You get into the habit of the first thing you do when you open up that Munzie app first thing in the morning is you're clicking, you're clicking that that mailbox. So you can get it from there. So it gets the habit going. And I know a certain person, Rob, he's a a boat captain, I'll say, in Florida, who's go who loves these sort of things as well, because
Rob (09:49.254)
yeah.
Craig (09:49.911)
Or anyone going on cruises, for instance, as well, the cruise ships, that sort of thing too, these this is ideal for you. If you put it in front of the cruise ship and for some reason the it goes off course or whatever else as well, and still you can move it again. You can move it again until you actually do cap it. See, so you can keep moving, keep moving until it's right in front of your boat and then you can actually cap it from there. So there you go.
Shimmering Shimmering Star mailbox only available online. That one there you can't get it in at purchase. only available online and get yours today, before the first of July.
Rob (10:22.956)
It is twenty five dollars just as a like reminder heads up. So twenty five dollars and that's because it lasts for thirty one days. You get thirty one greeting cards out of that. That's a ten dollar value all by itself. There's a twinkle twinkle whittle star, so that's the whittle that's gonna be coming out. That's a level ten, so that's another ten dollars or seven dollars and fifty cents. I don't remember the bonus points.
Craig (10:25.825)
yes. Yep. Yep.
Craig (10:32.032)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (10:36.472)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Craig (10:48.152)
Mm.
Rob (10:50.808)
There's also enough prizes that this stacks up to well beyond twenty five dollars worth of value over time. Conversations with lots of people, you and I both know that this is the product that everyone says is the best value for dollar absolutely across the entire game because if there's anything that we pack full of value, it's the mailboxes. Especially the birthday mailbox.
Craig (10:56.93)
Yeah.
Mm.
Craig (11:06.502)
Mm. Mm.
Craig (11:14.54)
Yeah. Yep. Exactly. Now you rob, so I'm just gonna jump through because you said that it's got bonus events for for July for the mailbox holders. Well technically the bonus events themselves they're for everyone, you see. So let's go through the bonus events. But but what happens is that when it's double points for everyone, it's actually triple points for mailbox holders. That's how it works. If it's triple points, like on the triple point Tuesdays for cards, it's now four times the points on mailbox bonus. Four
Rob (11:42.126)
It's
Craig (11:43.896)
Times the points on cards on Tuesdays for mailbox every single Tuesday in July, Rob.
Rob (11:50.967)
It's possibly the most ridiculous request that Mari has ever put in front of me and she has put some crazy ones out there. Mari, well done. The if if you players have never met Mari, that's alright. She does she's she's she's she likes to work behind the scenes. She goes to some MHQ style events and she is based in California, so people out there have met her as well. maybe she'll be in Vegas if you're
Craig (11:53.656)
She
Craig (12:06.328)
Mm.
Craig (12:17.964)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (12:20.482)
wanting to meet a couple of team members. That's entirely possible. But yeah, she she you you were on the call, Craig, when she said, Hey, I'm thinking I'm thinking for the mailbox owners we give them triple points, but I want to do something a little bit different with the triple Tuesdays for mailbox owners. Can we make them quadruple Tuesdays on greeting cards? And I started laughing instantly and yeah, it was like
Craig (12:21.016)
Mm. Mm. Mm.
Craig (12:46.828)
Yeah.
Rob (12:50.008)
You've realized if people use a deploy booster, they're going to be getting or a or a capture booster. They're gonna double that quad. So it's going to turn in to times eight points. And she 'cause she said like you know, the cards aren't that ma too many points and I was thinking, There are a hundred points. There are a hundred points for capture. There are some of them that are a good number of points, so the the wise players could be getting eight hundred per
Craig (12:52.482)
Booster. Yeah.
Craig (12:59.842)
Quartz us eight times.
Craig (13:08.469)
Mm yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Rob (13:19.084)
Cap. Now, you and I like to blast. We know this. So those blasts that we do of a hundred cards are just gonna be insane. So anyway, everybody have fun with the Triple Tuesdays that are going to be mailbox owner, quadruple Tuesdays, and then the the double points for everyone events that are happening on the Friday, Saturday, Sundays. Those are gonna be double points for everyone, but
Craig (13:19.959)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (13:27.16)
Ho ho ho
Yeah, yep.
Craig (13:38.264)
Mm.
Craig (13:44.95)
Yep. Every weekend.
Rob (13:47.553)
Triple for mailbox owners. my goodness. Now one more thing about this. There's fifteen bonus events that are happening during the month. There's fifteen like points events, and there's also fifteen special types of events like the mech Mondays, the throwback Thursdays, those kinds of things. Scatter Saturdays, I think, are in there too. but anyway, and that's because it's our fifteenth birthday. So
Craig (13:49.452)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (14:01.357)
Yep. Bonus. Mm-hmm.
Craig (14:14.496)
Yeah. Yep.
Rob (14:15.372)
This time we wanted to do something a little wild, a little crazy. good luck everyone. Let's let's all have a fun July and birthday event.
Craig (14:18.922)
Yeah.
Craig (14:23.804)
Exactly. And as I as always, Rob, too, leading up to the weekends, we're gonna announce what's going to be double and triple points as well. For those people who listen to the podcast only don't really like to actually look at all the blog posts. But if you want to have a look at the blog post, the ideal thing to do is to to save that that post itself with the the little graphic, the artwork there, because we're always we we're talking about the double points for everyone, triple points for mailbox owners on different things like you know, your greenies, cards, flats, all that sort of stuff as well. That's gonna be separate. But also, Rob, every Monday is gonna
Rob (14:29.421)
Yes.
Craig (14:53.778)
Mech Monday as well. Every every Thursday is gonna be throwback Thursday for the resets for your Evo bouncers. Rob, wow, wow, it is huge. More information, go to the blog and have a look. And as I said, I save that that graphic, Rob, just so I can quickly refer to it from there.
Rob (15:01.261)
Wow.
Rob (15:10.942)
As long as you make sure that there's not ever an updated graphic that gets put out, that's perfectly fine. Cause don't forget we've been caught in that trap before. People get upset. We also have the what's new section in the app that reminds people here's what's going on. So don't forget about that. But yes, look, look and plan ahead. That's what we're trying to do. That's what we're head hooking everybody up with. And speaking of that,
Craig (15:17.066)
Yes, yes. Yeah, you have. Yeah. Mhm. This is true. Yep. Yep.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Rob (15:40.675)
Gauntlet game requirements coming out this weekend. Like, see if you can take a guess what might be happening based on fifteen double points days, fifteen bonus event days. my goodness, it's gonna be a wild July. Let's go.
Craig (15:44.28)
yeah, yeah, yeah.
Craig (15:56.056)
Yeah.
It is, it is. Now, I I will say as Rob, that is there's lots going on, and so there's lots going on in the Gauntlet Games requirements as well. So I'll just say that. Heads up, there is a lot going on. Not really, and but I will say as well, Rob, nothing is unachievable. I will say that. You know, chat chat amongst your exactly, I was gonna say chat amongst your guild friends and and work together and you work in in harmony that way. All right, Rob, moving back to the week three, back to just the general chit.
Rob (16:07.502)
Heads up everyone.
Rob (16:16.706)
When you work together.
Craig (16:28.324)
Chat because that's exciting. week three baby animal deploy bonus came out. Now don't forget, weeks one and two is still available. But this one here, week three baby animals. If you want to earn yourself a baby lamb, deploy five jewels of any type, and you earn that baby lamb. If you want a baby fawn like a little deer, then deploy three mechs of any type. That one was easy, right? Three mechs, easy, you know. Yeah, yeah. That's all you have to do, and even then.
Rob (16:47.446)
So
Rob (16:51.298)
Wasn't it? Yeah. All you gotta have is cogs for that one and you know, you get it out there.
Craig (16:56.982)
You don't have to deploy the highest mechs, Rob. Just deploy the three cog mechs, like the little pawns, the SMS pawn or the the Coach V pawn. And and you can go from there as well. So the week three baby animal deploy bonus has begun, and that's available for the rest of the month as well. So make sure you get that done, ASAP. Meanwhile, Rob, something that is in app only as well. Shh, it's a secret. The secret Z Ops came out.
Rob (17:05.654)
Mm.
Rob (17:23.102)
it's a fail, by the way. Yeah. But this is a good fail. It's a fairy fail. Yeah. So it is thankfully running well and successful. it is 1500 Z in the app. There is a new mech from this one. So hey, maybe this is the mech that you released, three additional if you've already completed the fairy fail. This one's called the Big Bad Wolf. I don't know if you looked at the the
Craig (17:25.64)
yeah, a fai a fairy fail.
Craig (17:33.56)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:44.556)
Yes.
Mm-hmm.
Did, I did.
Rob (17:50.969)
design on everything. It's crazy. congrats to Dylan for the wildness that is his mind and how he comes up with these things. But you know, it's always fun. So once you complete that secret Z up, it does deploy the big bad wolf and you get the blueprint so that you can rebuild that with COGS anytime in the future. This one is going to be available for a bit, at least for the next month.
Craig (17:58.793)
Mm.
Craig (18:07.4)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (18:16.414)
Mm-hmm. Okay.
Rob (18:17.686)
And then it'll go back into the vault possibly, then come back from time to time. Maybe we leave it out there in circulation. You know how these things go, everybody. The secret Zeops, they come, they go, they're here, they're there, they're you know, yeah. We we love for everyone to play them.
Craig (18:24.024)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (18:28.376)
Ha ha ha.
Craig (18:33.974)
Yep, they're everywhere. There's some people out there, Rob, myself included, where I have to have every single secret Zeops. I know I know of a of a player, Rob. She has she has, seriously, like no less than eight secret Zeops going at the same time. She can't keep up with it all. So she just plays and then once a week she goes through a secret Zeops and see what she's done.
Rob (18:52.174)
Yeah.
Rob (18:57.196)
Wow. That's
Craig (18:58.21)
So yeah, you can play more than one at a time as well. So just make sure of that too. So there you go. All right, Rob, moving on now to the the Widdles Series Three personals now became available. Like personals themselves are actually in the Freeze Tag store. So if you want your little your little what do you call it, postage there from Minnesota Boy, Minnesota Boy, Minnesota Boy, Whittles three series three is out and about too. So tell us a little bit more about personals if you don't know what personals are, Rob.
Rob (19:01.71)
That is true.
Rob (19:24.652)
Yeah, that's true. Personals are the little metal dog tags. one of the specific uses of them is taking them to events so that you can get points from meeting other people. that's kind of where the whole idea started. these are type of Munzie that you can move. You can move it several times a day, but people have to be within one mile of that location in order to cap it.
Craig (19:29.299)
Mm.
Craig (19:33.24)
Mm.
Craig (19:37.528)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (19:48.002)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (19:52.184)
Mm.
Rob (19:53.841)
but like I said it can be updated. they can be used for lots of reasons, but they are specifically for when you meet other players in person. Yep. And there is the Nexus personal that allows you to have everyone cap or anyone that that can cap that one, caps all of your personals at once. It is such a lovely time saving device. It's basically like a blast for your personals. Yep.
Craig (19:58.808)
Mm.
Yeah. Yeah.
A yeah you got
Craig (20:11.916)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Craig (20:17.944)
Ha ha ha.
Personal blast. Exactly. So someone like Munziprof for instance who has like a bunch, a bunch of personals. what you basic what we what you basically do is when you grab a new one, say you grab a new one from the Whittle Series three, then you you click on it, you activate it, and then you just click a button to add all personals to the Nexus and that's it, done. and that way then you know Munzie Prof can fly, for instance, to Vegas, California, those sort things, and not take
Rob (20:29.73)
Yeah, we'll go with a bunch.
Craig (20:51.352)
only take a carry on not not check his personals check in luggage too so and just bring his nexus along so there you go click it onto your nexus if you do have one and if you don't have a nexus and you get all the series three I suggest you get an add the nexus to it as well it's a lot easier so there you go keep Tim busy that's what I like to say
Rob (20:55.33)
Yeah. Yeah.
Rob (21:07.054)
Absolutely. Yep.
Rob (21:12.554)
Yes. Why not? Why not? And I think that Frank Munseyprof is in West Virginia for that coexist event because I saw a cap on from a Munsey there first thing this morning when I was looking at my my what am I not doing in Munsey, you know, right now. So crates, by the way. Yeah.
Craig (21:20.45)
Yeah.
Craig (21:28.042)
Yes.
that wouldn't surprise me that he's there. He's not it wouldn't surprise me that he's j there as well. So well done to Munzie Prof. If you want to go and see the number three player in the world, that's right, third, then yeah, go to go to West Virginia event this weekend and you'll see Munzie Prof himself, the man, the myth, the legend. moving on now to the next thing, which is the the Garden of the Month has been announced as well. Again, two winners as well for this one here. Congratulations to who, Rob? To who?
Rob (21:57.795)
Well that's a great question. this month was all about the great outdoors and Mrs. H B thirty one had one of the winning designs. It is deployed in North Carolina and it's an R V camper. It was one that that everybody on the team was like, Hey, you know what? That's pretty cool looking. the the design of it, it's like an old airstream pole behind. Yeah. It was really cool. reminds me of
Craig (22:03.565)
Yes.
Craig (22:08.48)
Mm-hmm.
Mm.
Craig (22:17.92)
Mm-hmm. Yeah. Teerdrop sort of style. Yeah, yeah.
Rob (22:27.562)
several of our Muzy players. You know, they've got trailers that they may pull behind, which is really cool. You know what I mean? Like
Craig (22:32.472)
what I thought you're gonna go on the a I thought you go on the age thing, but no, that's right.
Rob (22:37.394)
no, no, no, no. I mean their age happens to match up, but the the fact that they pull campers, you know, they go to campgrounds, it's just it it matches up with the Munsee lifestyle, let's say. then the other winner was the Cape Coral Burrowing Owl. And that one was from Anna Banana, and that is in Cape Coral, Florida. So if you deployed a Munsie in either of these,
Craig (22:42.272)
The old air streams. Yes, this is true. This is true.
Theme. Yeah. Yep.
Craig (22:58.112)
Mm.
Craig (23:02.829)
Yeah.
Rob (23:06.242)
The new were delivered the badge for it. Don't forget, the best way to try and earn these badges is to go to Cupazy Gardens. You look at all the different types of gardens. There are gardens of the month, they have a tag on them. You look at the ones that are coming up in the future. Decide which designs you like most or which designs you think that our crazy team is gonna like, and try and get yourself one of these badges in advance. we also have that other
Craig (23:08.546)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (23:25.558)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Rob (23:35.481)
Purchase a a badge or a sponsor. Sponsor a badge. It was like what's it called? Sponsor a badge for seven hundred and fifty Zeds for anyone who completes capping these gardens. And I don't think, just in looking at it and from memory, I don't think either of these have a sponsored capture badge. So just saying, yeah.
Craig (23:37.601)
yeah. Sponsor.
Craig (23:44.132)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (23:55.709)
No. No. There's there there was another there was another 'cause we do have if people don't understand Rob, what what we basically do is we do have like maybe four or five good quality designs that we put to the team and say, Okay, to the gameplay team and say these are the four or five finalists and then we pick the two from the four or five finalists. I will say a couple of the other finalists did have a sponsored badge attached to too, so
Rob (24:20.086)
Yeah. Yeah they did. Yeah, they did.
Craig (24:20.78)
There you They had a sponsor's badge attached. But you could be, Rob, you could be like our good friend Eagle Dad and Ixenia. And he likes to put he he doesn't care what the the I think it looks like 'cause he I think he puts at least just one virtual in every single Garden of the Month entry. Just rest assured for himself that he's going to be able to to claim the badge, either one or two of the badges, so
Rob (24:28.145)
huh.
Rob (24:45.418)
If he were a gambler, and I have no idea, but if he were and he went to Vegas, do you think that he would put one chip on every single square on the roulette table?
Craig (24:48.024)
Ha ha ha.
Craig (24:53.162)
Every well then that's that's that's a waste of money then because you the the house always wins. There you go. So you can. Why not? Each one. Exactly, exactly. All right, moving on to the Munzie question of the week. And this one here, it's not r it's it comes in often in different support tickets and whatever else as well. And that is from now on, Rob
Rob (24:59.722)
Indeed, indeed. And that's why I wouldn't suggest it. However, with Cubazie Gardens, why not? Why not put one out there for each of the designs?
Craig (25:20.436)
Can we move wishing wells?
Rob (25:25.036)
Well, everyone, the answer to this question has changed, and that's because of we'll call it a a need within the team to reduce the time that we are spending on a certain type of ticket, which is could you please update the coordinates for this wishing well? Could you please do this for this wishing well? Could you please do this for this wishing well? no.
Craig (25:40.04)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:47.768)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (25:50.903)
Is now the answer. we we are just we're just moving on from that. And so what we're gonna do instead is we're going to start monitoring the the journal entries comments. I can't remember what word we use for that in the app, but but you can leave a general comment in order to say, hey, this one is n
Craig (25:52.268)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:58.07)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (26:06.873)
Mm, mhm.
Rob (26:18.258)
Inaccessible. You we cannot get to this private property, blah blah blah, too far off the road, whatever it may be. If it doesn't have captures, it's gonna be the type of thing that we're gonna sweep from the map. this is not going to be happening every day, this is not going to be happening every week. This is going to be one of those every now and then occasional, we'll call it, processes where we're gonna go through and look at those. All right, so there you go. It's a new answer.
Craig (26:33.292)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (26:41.024)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (26:45.13)
Mm-hmm. Very good. It's and basically all it is is that if it yeah, just repeat again what you said, Rob, and that is if you see a wish and will that is in private property, it's un you can't get it, no one can get it, for instance, as well. It's uncapped, it's got zero caps on it, and it's just annoying the heck out of you, because I know that happens to a few of people. Then you click on it, you click on the three button menu right at the top corner, and the top comment is leave entry.
So you leave an entry and you leave that entry saying that it's inaccessible. That's it. That's all you have to do. Done. All said, all done. Like you normally would do, Rob, when you can't cap a Munsey. For instance, the Munsey's gone. It's you know, that sort of thing. Similar sort of style. And then, as you said, Rob, then every now and then we the Munsi team will go through and literally wipe it off the game board. Now, the main reason for this, Rob, from a technical point of view, I'll say this.
Y it is it is quicker for the team to do this as well. But also if we remove if we archive a wishing well off the board, the game board itself, th it recognises that that area area is inaccessible, so there's no wishing well's gonna be placed back there. So that's the other thing as well. So there you go.
Rob (27:52.623)
Yeah, that is true. And and to those who would say, Why don't you just remove any of the wishing wells that have zero captures? I'll just I'll give you the same philosophy that we've had since the beginning. We're not going to do that because there may not be players in that area now, but if I personally travel to an area, I would like for there to be some there, even if no player has ever gone through before. Why? Because I
Craig (28:05.749)
Mm-hmm. Nope.
Craig (28:12.502)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (28:16.184)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (28:19.618)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (28:21.32)
I I'm the same as everyone else. You can request one wishing well per seven days, right? So if I'm traveling along, let's say for example, Tour de France, Femme avec Swift, this summer, July, August, France does not have a ton of munsies, but those wishing wells is something as I go through little villages that they might be there. So anyway,
Craig (28:26.825)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (28:34.483)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (28:39.584)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (28:45.301)
Yeah.
Rob (28:45.346)
That's why we don't take all the zero caps off, so please don't send in that suggestion. Don't flood us with support tickets asking us to do that. We're not going to ever, ever, ever. So please don't. there you go. That's it. Thanks everyone.
Craig (28:48.286)
Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah.
That's
Nice work. And also, Rob, I will say this as well, there's a bit of a hint and tip out there to everyone. And that is utilize, please, please, please, please, please utilize Copper Z for your wishing wells. Now, why I say that is that a wishing well planner has been placed on Copper Z. Sam's did a great job in regards to that too. So it basically what it does, it gives you the radius rings on every single wishing well. Now, what you do is you look and go, look at that inner section there, intersection of
you know, First Street and Second Street, for instance. There i i it's an opening there for a wish and will. So when you get to that opening and that it that's when you actually request one. Sometimes it may pop up, other times it goes to the team for for you know confirmation of that pop up as well. So that's the way it works. Please, please, please use Cup of Z. and the reason why I say that Rob is because it's so easy to do it. and it also stops it stops people from or us from declining requests
Rob (29:37.07)
Yes.
Craig (29:55.735)
Because of the radius issues as well. So be aware of that. Very, very helpful. Sam, there you go. Might say giving him a plug. I wonder if I get a comment after he listens to this far. So who knows?
Rob (29:58.509)
Yep. It's very helpful. What can I say? Yeah.
Rob (30:06.764)
Maybe a good one. Don't forget it's it's a it's a suggestion. It's the here's the recommendation, here's where it should be. Does it mean it's to the exact foot? no, not exactly. So if don't get upset if if it's not exactly there. Or if it doesn't deploy exactly at that exact spot where you are standing, not how the tools work.
Craig (30:11.946)
Yes. Yeah.
Craig (30:17.144)
Yeah, yeah.
Craig (30:26.09)
Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. Alright, moving on to the Monday. Look at we're doing two good in time, mate. Good in good time. Good time. We're we're recording quickly.
Rob (30:36.118)
It's 'cause I went into one point two five mode myself. I think that's why. Yeah.
Craig (30:39.66)
That's just true. This is true. Meanwhile, speaking out, we're gonna go into the one point five mode for the Munsi tip of the week, and that is to check out the reason why we say one point five 'cause in the future. Check out the blog on Monday. Listeners, check the blog on Monday. There's something new coming on Monday. I wonder what it could be.
Rob (30:54.142)
Yeah?
Rob (31:00.152)
People enjoy these types of things. Now here's here's the thing. As we make future looking into the future type comments, things could things could happen to impact the day of this. And you and I both know that, and we've done this in the past with there's cards coming later today. And if we don't do it later today, it's next week. So currently, currently
Craig (31:19.735)
Yeah.
It's a week.
Rob (31:27.742)
S five days looking into the future in advance. We think it's Monday. You know, maybe
Craig (31:30.74)
Yeah. Five days in the future. We sure it's we're we're we're got a high percentage that it's Monday. Yeah. Yeah. But does does Murray and the rest of the team know? But anyway and and for those those lovers out there it's not really it's not cat related, so don't get your hopes up. So there you go.
Rob (31:37.654)
I I agree. Me and you both agree. We it it's ready.
It should be.
Rob (31:49.162)
No, it's not. it it it makes me I'm I'm not an artsy kind of guy, but you know, sometimes you get that kind of feeling from this sort of thing. So we'll see. We'll see what everybody thinks about it.
Craig (31:55.873)
Yeah.
Craig (32:00.588)
